Sensational Sushi Family Feast at Sushi Train, Gold Coastđ
We had a delicious sushi feast for our dinner at Sushi Train Japanese restaurant in Surfers Paradise.
Everything was freshly made & very tasty. We had a lovely variety of sushi & doubled up on a few of these dishes too.
We really enjoyed this family dinner on our Gold Coast holiday.
If you are in Surfers Paradise & love sushi, then definitely check out Sushi Train restaurant.

Low quality ingredients, not many menu items, missing popular menu items, food rotation needs better management. I've eaten at sushi trains all over Australia. This is not the usual standard and the first time I didn't enjoy my food. We are a little and then left.

I have been very loyal to sushi train for the past six years in another state. I am Happy to say that this is now my local.
The first time I went there, I wasnât impressed by the server. However my need for sushi won out. And I went again and was pleasantly surprised by friendly and helpful service.
They donât mind at all, substitutions. And as I get minus âthisâ and plus three âthatâsâ. And it came out just the same as Iâve always received back in Sydney. I am happy as a dog barking, a bird flying or a pig playing in mud.
Food is great, fresh and highly recommend eating here or having it delivered

Been going to this sushi train for 10 plus years
Wont be going any more the man who is meant to be a "waitor" is rude and awkward ive been to many sushi trains and this one is not on the same level as the rest sticky table 30 minute plus wait for food and empty train. requires much more staff with a better attitude towards paying customers

Very rude staff. Our group was seated, then another staff member told us to leave very rudely just because he made a mistake with bookings. No apologies, just rudeness.
Edit:
If you made a mistake by seating us when you werenât supposed to, just smile, apologise and explain it. We did not sit down ourselves, your staff seated us and even asked me to help rearrange your bar chairs for her.
You thrust a ticket in my face and asked me to leave. Have a good hard look at yourself and your lack of service. Yes, everyone was looking at your lack of service. What a disgrace!

Chef was rude to the staff and me. He got clearly stressed. The kitchen hand and waitress were doing a great job, as always do every time that I come. Gonna point last few days, that the team were working good together. Food was good as always.

Noodle soup is ok. Sushi is horrible. Hard rice, weird tasty and not much choice.

Went to come here for the first time, visiting from Brisbane, said open on google, but when we got there they were closed. I understand they need breaks too but annoying that no sign is placed on the door to let people know when break is over, we would've been happy to wait a bit. Waited 10 mins before we rang to check and said it would be an hour before they reopen. So we left and went elsewhere.
