Review One Cavill Beach Bar - Surfers Paradise

Delicious food, great views over Surfers Paradise Mall and the beachfront, good value for money, staff were great. Can't fault them. Loved it.

Best food and view! Staff was fantastic! I actually planned to drink one cup of beer but I took more than 3! How could stop to drink beer with this view and nice food? If I have a chance to go to GC, I definitely visit here again!!

I have been to this place on several occasions and usually had a good time. However, it just takes one bad experience to negate the whole impression about a venue. Last night they had bouncers who were overly heavy handed in their treatment towards patrons. I was in a situation where I was asked to leave the bar for no justifiable reason, which is completely fine and acceptable if the venue decides so at their discretion.(Happy to explain further to management if interested) However the issue is when the bouncers become heavy handed without reason and don't allow you to explain your side due to personal bias or some form of nepotism. I accepted their decision to leave the bar but requested that they allow me to inform my wife that we are leaving. They didn't show any compassion to this fact and was pushy about just dragging me out. Again, bearing in mind that I was not being unreasonable, uncooperative, obnoxious or violent in any way or form. I personally witnessed overly aggressive behaviour towards some of the other patrons which resulted in the police getting involved and questioning the staff. (If any of the injured patrons require witness accounts for court proceedings notify me here.) The venue management can easily check the CCTV footage from Saturday 13 July 2019 to verify my facts. So to conclude I would highly urge the management to advise their bouncers to avoid such heavy handed tactics where patrons get injured or end up with broken phone screens when it is completely unwarranted, as is my case. Extremely disappointed with One Cavill Beach Bar and how things were handled by their security staff. Will not be positively recommending this venue to any one until they remedy these issues.

Last night on Goldcoast, rocked up just looking for a nice meal and was blown away by the amazing Parmy Burger! Was one of the best meals I've had up here and recommend everyone tries this place. Price was good considering how good the meal was and for the location, so it won't bust the bank if your looking for a fantastic meal. To top it off the friendly staff and manager made it an enjoyable atmosphere.

It was amazing, the food was on point and the staff was great with smiles all around and a beautiful view :) i left happy and full :) would definitely recommend this place :)

We went for Lunch yest., Saturday, for the 1st time since it became One Cavill and were thoroughly impressed. The view is amazing (we sat out on the North balcony); the service was great; and the food, well ..... exceptional. The portion sizes amazed us when our meals arrived .... they barely fit on the table. I had the Moroccan Spiced Lamb Cutlets on a bed of mixed Mash, with Steamed Veg. The 3 cutlets were a good size, so tender; with a lovely flavoured spice (glad they weren't crumbed) and the mixed Mash and Veg were all flavoursome too .... Just such a shame I don't each Olives, as they were multiplying among my Veggies. lol!� My Partner nearly ordered the same meal, but just had to watch in envy as I ate my exceptional meal. We will certainly be back again real soon (we live extremely locally) and my Partner will definitely be having the Lamb Cutlets. Two very happy customers here who will definitely be recommending One Cavill Beach Bar. Well done!��

I come from out of town. we're here for supanova the meal was to die for the hospitality was amazing I would definitely recommend this great place to friend and family I guess it's not called one cavill for nothing it fricken awesome �

This is a great place for a couple of drinks, great food at a good price and has a perfect view of the beach. We will definetly return. We had the loaded fries and bruschetta...very decent size :)

Visited recently during Surfers Paradise Live. What a great spot to sit and watch the world float by. Add on the multitude of beers on tap, service with a smile plus the great burgers and you have a brilliant venue to visit. Heading down the coast again soon and will definitely be back.

Great spot for a cold beer on a lazy afternoon Staff are friendly and attentive and the bowl of nachos was more than a snack for two We’ll be back next time we’re in Surfers 👍
