Review The Noodle House 2 - Surfers Paradise

Solaire Surfers Paradise
Food used to be good for a quick meal on the way home but unfortunately, the staff completely avoid eye contact. You don’t go to a restaurant to befriend the staff but you do expect service. Don’t bring the rice 10 minutes after the stir fry or curry dish. We asked for chopped chillies in a fish sauce as a condiment or the chilli oil but they had run out of chillies. Thai restaurant without chillies, something to thing about. $75 for a small sweet Tom yum, 2 entrees, one main & a bland rice dish, not good. The young waiter was very friendly but was over ruled by the extremely grouchy Thai woman at the counter. She couldn’t hear us asking for water or to order but managed to hear ask him if he could give us 1 chopped chilli & rudely called him away in Thai, while she was seeing to someone else at the counter! This place must have changed hands since we last visited which used to be a regular stop after a late school event. Go for the convenience of a local but not for an enjoyable night out.

The food is so tasty!!! All the dishes I ordered including beef with cashew sauce and pad thai were well seasoned and flavourful. Love their coconut rice. Def recommend this restaurant!

Nice mixed entree. Papaya Salad taste average and it should be dry. Green Duck Curry taste average and too watery. Pad Thai have no flavour. Will come back and try other dish! $$$

No communication with trading hours. Trading hours were listed to be open for lunch however upon arrival the restaurant was deserted and empty. Sign in the door displayed the OPEN sign so confidently, maybe open only exclusive to ghosts on Tuesday lunchtimes

I was told this place was good by one of my customers staff members. It was fantastic, had the duck Pad Thai and laksa. Great service and amazing flavour. Super full afterwards too.

Horrible beef soup. Not only was there only 6 small pieces of meat, it wasn't even cooked properly. Chewy and tasted off. I couldn't eat it and walked out. Shame because I've had pleasant experiences here in the past. The serving size has reduced dramatically and the staff are bordering on rude. Basically got charged $13 for a bowl of 2 minute noodles. Very disappointing.

The food is very yummy and delicious. The service is very good and nice. I can understand that sometimes they are busy on the weekend. The staff will try to help us. It is my best Thai restaurant. I will go back this restaurant with my friends again.
