Awesome pub food at Goldie's Bar and Bistro. I been in for lunch the last 3 days. Off the weekday $16 lunch menu I tried the Rump Steak which is awesome and the Beer Battered Baramundi fish and chips is also very good.
Also tried the $22 Angus Beef Burger off the regular lunch / dinner full menu. A really good beef burger.
Top notch pub food right in the heart of Surfers Paradise, opposite the Novotel Hotel on Surfers Paradise Boulevard.

I love Goldie’s weekday lunch for $15 the steak is always nice and hot and I really enjoy it only downside is the view is the bloody tram 😂

Lunch Monday to Friday I would easily give this place 5 stars. Thier $15 menu offers value for money and staff are tops during the week.
Been there twice now on weekends though, once for dinner and once for lunch. Weekends it's like going to an entirely different place and I have been disappointed both times. I opted for the Bao buns and I can tell you that though the little piece of pork belly was tenderer, they were pretty tasteless and are definitely not value for money. It really needed more salad or something for flavour. Last time I got the chicken parm (which I buy regularly at lunch) and it was completely different to the lunch menu. Both times were disappointing. Weekends I give it 1 1/2 stars.

Food took a very long time (40 minutes) to arrive despite the place being only 30-40% full. We asked three different people for a glass of warm water, in the end one of them brought us cold water. Won’t be coming back.

We went here for a family meal and catch up very disappointed when my father was refused service and told he had to much to drink. My father has a neurological disease that causes him to involuntarily move or jitter. Than we were asked to leave. He had only had two beers previous to this. We left to get a meal else where and went to three other licensed premises and didn’t have a problem.

This place has clear false advertisement at the bar, shots were $6 but they charged as $9 because it was our “second round” but no where on their menu this was mentioned. As I spoke to the manager, Micheal, he acted like he was above us, very rude and acted like we were an annoyance, ripped the menu board off in front off our faces to prove a point...

Been going to Goldie’s TAB for a while now and decided to have lunch there 27/2/22. 🤢 Salmon was well over cooked with the toughest salad leaves ever. Husbands chicken had to of been deep fried cardboard. Now I understand why the place is mostly empty.

Live Music, Happy Hour!
Part of the island resort.. Goldie's is a restaurant with happy hour 3 - 7pm.
Meals includes pizza, starters, mail meals and dessert.
I had the grilled salmon which is highly recommended.
Others had the burgers which were burnt, so can't recommend.
Hubby had the salad with prawns which was quite sparse. But tasted good.
We did have to wait a long time for our meal but we compensated with a free drink which was great customer service.
I was impressed with the food and service.
Will be back.
