Review Espresso Bonsai - Surfers Paradise

What an amazing place we have just down the road. We always thought they just do drinks at night but even better..... they serve food as well 😁😁😁 omg!!! Everything was just perfect, the atmosphere is cute with all the fairy light and the white umbrellas. Loved the music they where playing in the background....service was with a smile and super quick....food was tasty as well and lots of it for what you paid!!! We will be back, thanks for a beautiful night out 👌😁👏

Lovely little cafe, coffee is fantastic, prices are reasonable, and food is delicious! Very happy to find a place that caters well for GF and V people! :)

simply the best and freshest nachos Ive ever had. so good. Balter beer is delicious, a lovely way to spend a Sunday afternoon

Excellent coffee and poached eggs with avocado. Great service, nice atmosphere. Pity they chose to put my avocado and eggs on stale bread. I realise that we have just come out of a three day lockdown, but using stale bread , masquerading as toast, and not even served warm … was a disappointment. This was my first time here, so will give the Café another go if I get the chance.

Coffee here is excellent. Beats all other cafes on the island and nearby Haven't had too much of the food, but seems good. Atmosphere and staff are also excellent!

Nice vibe and heaps of space inside and out. No Prices on anything and I wasn’t even told how much the total was. Three cold drinks =$20 but they tasted really good. Was served by two people. The first person seemed very inconvenienced by customers. The second was super friendly but English was a second language but we got there in the end. The chocolate milkshake wasn’t very choclately at all so not a fan with the kids. I e coffees were tasty though. I’d go 3.5 stars if it were an option but I’ll lean toward the benefit of the doubt ;)

halloumi cheese was very salty cheese need to marinating more that why was the cheese salted. On other hand,need improve the service for exam,take order from customer not the customer have go to the counter and order from there.

Great coffee, lovely staff, not too busy, but the food just wasn't good. The frozen/shredded feta cheese was weird enough but it was also going off 🤢

Visited here 3 times before I decided it really wasn’t for me. On my first visit I ordered two coffees and salmon on toast for takeaway. Noticed that while I was waiting the table next to me returned 3 seperate meals to the kitchen because it wasn’t what they ordered. From what I could hear, one of those meals they returned twice before it came out correct. Got my coffee and noticed immediately I had been given small cups despite requesting a large (not a huge deal therefore I said nothing), also was surprised the salmon on toast was so small considering the price. Second visit the staff seemed more interested in chatting and taking photos of each other posing with the coffee machine rather than taking my order. While I may have only been waiting 2-3 minutes that’s a long time to be standing there being ignored while the staff are clearly fooling around. My order was eventually taken and I was dismissed as I had clearly interrupted their conversation. The coffee however tasted nice and was the correct size this time. The third visit I ordered takeaway coffee for myself and my girlfriend. Was served straight away and the young guy who served me (presumably the owner) was friendly and upbeat and even suggested instead of the ice coffee my girlfriend wanted, that I get her the cold drip coffee he explained they had won awards for. So I did and to their credit it tasted fantastic, wasn’t until I walked it home that my girlfriend discovered a fly attached to a piece of ice halfway through the cup. Pretty disappointing all up as it seems like a great location and is the closest coffee shop to where I live, however after three strikes that’s me done unfortunately.

Best coffee in town without a doubt. I highly recommend this place for a coffee session with friends o just with your self.

Excellent coffee, excellent chai !!!!!! Love the croissant 🥐 sandwich !!!!!!!! Ask for the matcha, it really is something else ! Love the inner garden and the clip garden !!!! Def ! A place to come back !!!!!!!!

Paid $15 for a slice of toast that had cream cheese spread on top with a slice of salmon out of the packet put on top, quite disappointing. Açai bowl was average as well. Felt ripped off more than anything what a shame, hope things are turned around

what a find - plenty of parking at the back - gorgeous outdoors seating and music on a Thursday morning lifts the vibe - delicious coffee will make me return!!! ... yet to try the food - am keen to & will bring friends. Thanks to team Espresso Bonsai
