Review Jiang Nan Chinese Restaurant - Surfers Paradise

The food was wonderful and yummy. The chicken chilli was loved by 7 people on our table. Before we went here, the stars were 2* but it should really be 4.5* because it was really good and the people working there were very helpful and really nice. The food service was very good and the cost was reliteve cheap. BYO only for wine (none sold at the restaurant) but we had some really good wines with us, but no cost to open them here! High chairs available for little kids here to, but not toilet in the restaurant, although there is one outside about 30 metres. Definitely worth to try out. Make up your own mind!

Waited 45mins for entree of 8 small dumplings. Waited another 30 mins for mains- after. Arrived at 7pm and left after 8:30. Food ok, but when your starving anything tastes ok. Watched as one plate per table continuously was given to 2 tables full of Chinese people, and when I questioned our meals I was told we ordered entrees. Wouldn't recommend to anyone who is hungry .

After being seated we waited 25 minutes. By that time noone had taken our order. The staff were chatting about the fish and lobsters in the tank. We ended up leaving to find somewhere that would serve us. Don't know about the food but the service is terrible

$60 for undercooked food something that tried to resemble beef and black been but no colour or flavour in it. Looks like chicken was cooked in sauce then washed under a tap. If i could share pictures i would.. the only ok thing was the chicken and sweet corn soup. Everything even special fried rice is gluggy

The worst fried rice i ever had in my life. Their seafood fried rice is basically plain fried rice + seafood topping. They fried the rice separately and later placed the seafood on top. The seafood is merely cooked with hot water so they were tasteless.

The customer service is awful. The waiting time is unbelievable. When I want to whether my order is on the way, the waitress always explained that there is only one chef:( I had no choice but to wait.
