We chose this chipper based on their great reviews. Did not disappoint. Fresh snapper was fantastic as was the calamari. Although the calamari was frozen it was tender and not at all rubbery. My partner has a chicken kebab. Marinated chicken done in the grill with hot sauce. YUM!!! We really enjoyed the chips as well. Will definitely be back again on future GC trips.

Can honestly say the grilled fish we had today was the best we have experienced on the Gold Coast. Friendly staff and amazing food. Can't wait for next time. Thanks guys ❤️🙏

Firstly you can't walk in and view any seafood products so you know what your getting. Secondly with 4 guys working had to wait for a ridiculous 20 minutes for a seafood basket and a piece of fish, which was tastless and a small portion. With many positive reviews they are not up to standard compared to other divine local places. Would I recommend this place, NO. Iam local and support local, well maybe not here anyway

I was a bit sceptical before getting my Fish n chips from this place..as it is hard to find a decent feed of fish n chips on the coast cooked my way ( battered n everything under done)..but I was pleasantly surprised to find everything cooked to perfection and a generous amount..fish(shark) was bloody beautiful.great staff, average wait time.. This is definitely now my go-to FnC shop.

I've tried three times over a few years and this is truly awful.1st time oil drenched fish and chips. 2nd time cold lamb souvlaki kebab. 3rd and final time now for sure, a hamburger with the works and chips, just stodge to be fair and a patty that was well what exactly, a thin crumbling something. I live local and support local for sure but How can you get it so wrong in such a good location.

I ordered 1/2 a chicken. Did I get half a chicken ? No. I got two large pieces of pumpkin. Was the pumpkin disgusting ? Yes. Did I find out after I had driven home ? Yes. Is my New Years Eve ruined? Absolutely. Am I getting a divorce because of this immense f*** up ? Yes! So thank you chickery chick food establishment for making an already difficult period worse.

Food was cold, comments were hot (4 stars my arse!). A group of us each ordered the 1/4 chicken meal and opinion was diverse. Comments ranged from "This potato is raw"', Mine is stone cold", "Disgusting", "Pig food", "I think this is rotten pumpkin", "Tasteless", "Horrid", "My pumpkin has some sort of artificial skin", "Worst meal ever" and "not bad". In my opinion, Chickery Chick you make me sick!!

Greasy overpriced poor quality. I went there and bought fish and chips and a seafood stick the prices for many of the items were a little overpriced but I thought I would try it anyway The FIsh I got was horrible greasy crap and the seafood stick was overcooked dried out and like a dog turd The chips were also greasy and the oil was old and should have been replaced as all the food was greasy and I felt Ill after eating it Do yourself a favor, if you are after fish and chips dont eat here, its terrible

Delicious. This eatery is under estimated. Because of the road works currently going on people are avoiding Chickery Chick and they shouldn't be as the food is delicious. Its not far from the beach and is open from early breakfast until late dinner. All food is fresh and tasty. I highly recommend the extra little bit of effort it takes to get there at the moment. Its times like these we need to support it more :)

Convenient location, good/cheap food. Neat little chicken n' chips store not far from the beach. Great to stop off here for lunch then take a stroll down to the sand. All of the meals are quite reasonably priced, and the staff are always full of smiles.
