Review Moonlight Indian Cuisine - Surfers Paradise

Nice menu with lots of options. Generous serving sizes. Ordered through Menulog and our food arrived before it was meant to which was nice. My only concern was how oily everything was. There was a layer of oil on the curries and the naans seemed like they were dipped in oil as well. We had a chilli and cheese naan and it was very spicy. Overall quite tasty Indian that isn’t over priced. I would recommend trying to order directly through them though instead of going through Menulog if possible to save some $$.

We had dinner here on 16th July 2022. Overall the food and service was excellent. Our waitress remembered our order perfectly with no notepad. We had 4 different curries which matched the quality of food we had in India. The naan was really good. Highly recommended.

REVIEW 2 - We first ordered from these lovely people 5 months ago and tonight we ordered another 15 dishes to restock our freezer. Of the masses of food we ordered last time, we enjoyed every, single dish. We loved that each has a flavour all its own - they are not ‘same same’. There was no meal where we thought... ‘nah’. Which actually made it hard to do another order tonight... which to choose? Anyway... Here’s the system for living in ‘Moonlight’ - order loads, then open 3 dishes on night 1... have a third of each one (split between two adults). On rice. Add mango chutney, chapati or paratha and poppadums. Maybe some plain yoghurt on the side. Green beans too. Night 2. Repeat. Night 3. Repeat. 3 dishes over 3 nights and a banquet of flavours every night. Everything is so fresh - and heats through quickly in the microwave. They are super friendly and helpful and the food was cooked and delivered swiftly. Highly recommend. REVIEW 1 - March 2020 We are in self-isolation after returning from international travel. Sitting in an apartment in Broadbeach - We did a massive phone order and had it delivered last night and WOW! We’ve tested 3 of the dishes of the 24 we ordered and seriously yummo (technical culinary term). Haven’t been this happy since we were in India last year. Beautifully packed up, all dishes labelled, dropped off within an hour of ordering. Freezer is now full of Indian Moonlight - highly recommend.

A interesting local I haven't tried before, very nicely decorated Indian restaurant, the service was very good and the food was fantastic, we shared tandoori lamb cutlets (superb!) fish masala and mushroom goat, all beautiful flavours and nice sized portions, thank you, we really enjoined our meal and will be back :) (the lamb came out on a sizzling plate with 4 cutlets on veggies but I forgot to get a photo)

Perfect service. Can't even fault the food. Everything was clean and the atmosphere is calm and inviting. Go give this place a try

Lovely clean modern and smart restaurant Great , interesting and varied menu Chose 3 meals to share Tandoori Lamb cutlets , Fish Masala, and Goat Mushroom All dishes were excellent , varied flavours and perfect size meals . Really interesting menu for next time , Large choice of Gluten Free options for those that need. Friendly service we will be back

DO NOT ORDER FROM MOONLIGHT! Appalling! I ordered on menulong and an item was missing! I called the restaurant and the lady was so rude she hung up on me. I tired to call again she answered without saying hello then hung up again because she knew it was my number. There was no yelling or abuse on my end. Very unprofessiona!

I am a regular to Moonlight in last 2 years and the food in this restaurant is delicious with Indian style of cooking. I will definitely recommend everyone to try this restaurant once who loves Indian food and I am sure you will come again.

Hands down best Indian food on the coast! Channa Masala and Masala Kulcha is a must have!!

Newly opened in our town indian restaurant on Gold coast. Really nice starting from food to service . Everything is so lovely. Offering kids free meal. Free rice dine in as well as with takeway. Very less price.

Amazing restaurant. Friendly and warm staff and food that is authentic and delicious. Highly recommended. Will be returning to this restaurant many more times for my weekly indian hit of food.
