The toughest decision is which burger to order as they all sound so yum. So far I have tried 4 and all have been great! Add on the onion rings and you have the perfect burger place!

Been past this place many a time without considering frequenting it. Have to say i was impressed and feel burger burger is worth a 4.5. Double Wagyu patty burger was great; meat well cooked, bun fresh, sauce and other ingredients blended nicely. The crumbed mushroom is a must addition to any burger - whilst the chips were very good; onion rings didn’t disappoint. I note this place delivers, but I’d go in and eat the burger freshly made; will return.
Tried the Wattle Pork burger and it was DELICIOUS!! It all just worked - the crispy pork, the crunchy apple slaw, the tonkatsu sauce and the highlights of the pickled ginger...made for a beautiful bite! Def worth a try :)

Burger Burger is a cosy restaurant that serves up delicious burgers, fries and onion rings.
The “Surrey Cheeseburger” burger was simply scrumptious and comprised a juicy patty and warm cheese sandwiched between brioche buns. The “Belmore Bacon” also had a crispy rasher of bacon and salad, while the monstrous “United Union” combined all of these delicious ingredients, plus a fried egg.
Unfortunately, the structural integrity of the burger failed in some cases, due to the sheer size of the serves. However, the burgers were still greatly enjoyed.
The mouth-watering onion rings and fries topped off the meal. Overall, the food was reasonably priced and very tasty.
Delicious buttermilk chicken burger.. the flavour was just satusfying. Veggie burger and the fries were average. Lots of natural light and welcoming staff.. would definitely recommend if you are craving for a burger.. go!go!go!..

Love love love their Chatham chatterbox burger with a side of parmesan fries! Always a staple to fall back on when the burger craving hits. Their mushroom burger is good too.
Absolutely delicious burger! Had their $12 weekday special (bacon and beef cheeseburger) which came with chips as well and everything was lovely. The kitchen is open style and you can see the staff cooking away. Enjoyed my burger a lot and they even provided hot sauce which was great! The bacon was really thick and juicy and although the beef patty was a bit dry towards the end, the hot sauce was able to add to the flavor. Even the chips were crispy and yum but there was just too much of it and I wasn’t able to finish all. Overall excellent value and I’d recommend this place to any burger lover in the surrounding areas.
We’ve had Uber eats from here before and it’s always been nice. Been holding off writing a review as I’ve always felt you need to be at the premises eating. So we had a late lunch and ordered the chicken and the double wagu. Arriving late at 2:30 definitely had its advantages as I can imagine it being crazy busy during peak times. Both burgers were really good. Balanced with greens, pickles with brioche buns. We had the onion rings which I reckon is their secret weapon. Crispy, with the right amount of sea salt. At times I felt I needed a flip top head as the burgers were huge and it wasn’t enough to bite around the edges. First world problems as they say. Easy to see why Burger Burger is often top 5 burger places in Melbourne .
Nice burger tucked away at Surrey Hills. Can get abit busy so take away from a better option . Portions are very generous, you have been warned !

I've been here many times now and pretty much have had every burger on the menu. The picture is of the united union without bacon but a bit more salad.
The biggest perk of this place is the sheer monstrous size of the burgers especially for the price. The value for money is almost unparalleled if you are after a full and satisfied stomach. The huge meat do seem a bit from the mass produced generic side and the buns do get a little soggy or at least soak up a lot of moisture from somewhere when prepared. But even so they are still quite tasty and extreme value for money. I honestly can't think of another burger place that serves such massive burgers for the same price. I recall the chips were crispy and onion rings were nice too.
This place is quite popular with uber eats too if you use that service.
Had the Full Monty Albert that is part of a combo meal that comes with a small portion of fries and an A&W root beer or coke, and also Onion Rings. This combo is basically a Double Monty Albert with a small side of fries and a drink for an extra $3 which is a good value, but you should be aware that the fries that come with the combo is smaller than an ala-carte order of fries on its own.
Love the brioche bun, very soft, wouldn't say it was buttered and toasted on the inside but still very good. The patty was thick and meaty at 150g, the bacon makes the burger all the better as I noticed for some places you can't taste the bacon much, but you could taste the cured salty meat here. Back bacon is used here.
Fries had crunchy texture and was well seasoned. Onion rings also had a nice crunchy shell with generous portion. No complains.
Probably my favourite burger joint. Every burger I've tried from here is delicious and massive. I am absolutely in love with their battered fries. Staff are all super nice! Would definitely recommend! Amazing burgers/10

Went here with a big group and the service was the best I ever seen in restaurants. The staff are super friendly, love to help and very polite. My husband got a free milkshake because of his birthday, and it was pretty rich, but nice. The menu was interesting and most burgers are massive, to the point it was impossible to bite. I did not realise what I ordered had two chicken patties/schnitzel in it. Anyway, chicken was cooked really well. Burger and chips tasted good but I could not finish it and towards the end the buns got soggy so had to eat it as deconstructed burger. Some of burgers come with slushie and chips in the price, and I had the blue lagoon slushie but it was way too sweet. But overall I was so impressed with the service. Place wise, it looks good. We went on a rainy day so it was not too busy. Because of the translucent roof, it got dark when the sun is not out and it did get noisy when the rain was hard. But otherwise the place was nice.

Only recommendation is that they really need to put some effort into decorating and creating more of a vibe here! Music, plants, more fixtures and decor would make this place a 5!

Tried a burger from here for the first time ever (via UberEATS) and it was delicious! I went for their simply Surrey cheeseburger and added pineapple, tomato and pickles. Perhaps without the add ons it may have been a bit plain, but with all the extras it was fantastic. The meat was juicy and thick, their sauce was tasty & the bun wasn’t too doughy - just right. Overall though pretty great burgers, I will definitely be ordering from here again.

I visited this burger place last Friday and it was absolutely worth the try! It was a bit difficult for me to get there by public transport. If you drive then yes, easy peasy!! They had a full house and also were organising Uber eats. So a very busy burger point I must say! The wait for appropriate. I ordered the Cam-baa-baa-well and chicken Canterbury burgers along with the crunchy battered fries. The FRIES were heavenly! Surely very crunchy.
The burgers were huge and totally worth the price of $14 each..
The staff there are really sweet and very approachable! Considering how busy they are, they still satisfy their customers.

Plenty of seats available even though it was super busy at the workstation. We placed our orders and it took around 30 minutes for our meals to arrive, most of the orders being processed were for UberEATS.
We all ordered the Full Monty Albert, the burger itself was huge and I just barely managed to eat it with my hands and fit all the layers into my mouth, not an enjoyable way to eat. I'd rather have one beef patty, the second didn't really serve a purpose unless you're a glutton (like myself). The highlight were the pickles, broke through the meatiness and wasn't overly tart. The beef patty itself was a bit on the drier end of the spectrum but still decent.
The battered fries were crunchy washed down with a bottle of coke, amazing for $20. I'd come here more often if it was closer to home as their menu was quite extensive. Grab a meal to go (as some of the locals were doing) to save yourself some time.

I have wanted to go to Burger Burger for a long time. And I certainly wasn't disappointed.
We ordered the fries, onion rings and 2 United Unions. The fries and onion rings were excellent, nicely fried and seasoned. The United Unions was also great. The Brioche Bun was crispy and soft, pattie was moist and flavourful and also the sauce was delicious. However, the burger can be quite a handful and will definitely come apart at the end.
The setting had a relaxed atmosphere. However, Burger Burger is a bit on the pricey side and certainly some joints in the city are more cheap. On the whole, Burger Burger is definitely worth a try. Would come back.
Burger burger recently catered for a 60th birthday at our house. The food was a huge hit, guests absolutely loved the mini chicken and beef burgers. The service was above and beyond any catering I've ever been exposed to, no ask was too big. Thank you so much to Nesh and his team, couldn't recommend this highly enough for a function. Will definitely be back.
Burger Burger is among the better burger joints in the eastern side of Melbourne. While prices may on the surface appear somewhat high and may cause some people to feel disinclined to try, I would strongly recommend trying Burger Burger. The burgers are not only flavoursome but unique and diverse!
Burger burger make the best onion rings I have ever tasted. Their Chips are the best you can buy for 4.50 and they make a mean veggie burger.
I have been to Burger Burger enough to try every item (excluding the vegetarian options) on the menu and have enjoyed the vast majority of them. The last few times I have been left wanting, with soggy buns and well done patties leading to a underwhelming feeling.

I live around the corner from this place and the first time I ate there it was a bit average. I'm very happy to say it's gotten better and better as time has gone on. The chips are delicious, particularly the parmesan ones. The burgers and fresh and the sauce is amazing. The only thing I'm not keen on is the chicken burgers. But anything with beef is terrific. Really thankful to have such a great place as a local! Also make sure to try the thickshakes!

Quite and inspired name for a shop that sells burgers don't you think? It's a Burger burger. Burger's burgers are the best burgers etc etc. Situated downhill from Surrey Hills train station they make it easy to walk right in and sit right down with a small sized dining area at the back of the shop, painted brick wall and hanging plants made this spot pleasant. We both opted for a counter special which was an over sized burger burger with chips and one of those Mexican sugar kick drinks for about $20 ... not much more than the burger burger itself. I chose the Full Monty Albert which contained 2x beef patties, bacon, cheese and token salad items. My co-diner who doesn't eat beef burgers chose a double up of the Tooronga Troppo chicken burger but asked for it without the pineapple or bacon. Those burger burgers certainly are huge. For only the second time in recent history I thought my arteries might clog up just based on this meal alone. This double party burger sure did challenge me to finish but ended up victorious. Tasty but a tad (just a tad) on the dry side. Could have benefited from a little more sauce. I am a fan of the brioche bun as well. The double up chicken burger defeated my opponent. I love those sugary Mexican drinks and the we're perfect for cutting through the fats from the burgers. I noticed you can get deliveries from Burger Burger on Uber Eats but never tried this. Not sure a burger would travel well on such a service.

I’m not usually one to fawn over a place, but I for a brief moment thought that, just maybe, this place might not be all that it’s cracked up to be. However, I was making up for a missed birthday celebration and was told this place rocked… so in I went with tentative steps. Located in the leafy suburbs of Surrey Hills, I think the biggest challenge to this location is parking. Your best bet is to get to this place by train. It’s literally a 3-minute walk from the station, 5 if you choose to dawdle.
Incredible burgers, with really great fries and onion rings. Wash it all down with an A&W root beer, and you will be stuffed and very happy.
Well I have been meaning to try this place out for a while. Being the highest rated burger joint in my area, I had very high expectation. I am glad to say that those expectations were adequately met. We ordered the original cheese burger, chicken burger and the 135 fries. The burgers were excellent with a brilliant sweet and soft brioche bun, and meet patty was juicy and chunky. The chicken burger was quite a large serving and included a coleslaw mix. The fries were quite crunchy, but I must say I'm not a big fan of the bacon bits and gravy, it just seemed to overpower the chips.
I also might add that the service was a little slower than expected.
All in all a quality burger joint to get your burger cravings satisfied 🍔🍟🍟🍿

I really enjoyed the texture of the brioche bun - soft with just the right amount of denseness. I thought the sauce was a little salty at first but after a few bites, it really did complement the flavoursome patty.

Loved the name of this burger hee hee. Definitely one of the better tasting burgers I've ever had! My last experience with a deep fried chicken burger was disastrous; I could literally squeeze out the oil from the bun as the chicken was so soggy and oily (I'm looking at you 8bit). But this burger just had the right amount of crispness without being burnt. The coleslaw, the sauce and the chicken went wonderfully well together.
Great service and friendly staff, burgers were good and the tim tam milkshake was excellent! Would recommend to anyone who loves burgers. The shop was modern and simple with limited seating areas.

I got the Belmore bacon and some chips. Really nice juicy burger, the chips were crunchy and I think they had a bit of cumin or spice in the batter. It was a bit loud on a friday night so we got takeaway, took a while to get food but it was very busy and was worth the wait.
Attended here for a business lunch. It's not at s business lunch standard. It's pitched at locals and students. Putting that aside, the trio if sliders for $20 is great value. $4 for a coke I thought was a bit steep especially given you have to get it out of the fridge. The trio when they arrived were huge. Effectively 3 burgers and I tucked in. They were great but couldn't finish the job. Nice place for a casual Saturday bite.
This shop serves a really great Burger, it is a very clean shop, the owner is friendly and looks after the business. gets busy but worth the wait. Prices are reasonable and will be back next week to give it another go.

Tried this place for the first time & it did not disappoint, ate in didnt get a great seat as we were right next to the other kitchen so had staff reaching over our heads which we didnt like but the food that was awesome, I had the Surrey cheese burger with an added egg it was superb & not too big, chips wernt to die for but they were okay. Will definitely return & try one of the other burgers.
Can I just say that the onion rings are just one of the best that I've tried in Melbourne. The batter was crunchy and not too think, batter and onion proportions were just perfect. Ordered a trio slider to share, the chicken burger won me over (I'm normally a beef person), the flavours were great with good chicken crunch :)
Dine in, take away or delivered, I've never had a bad burger at Burger Burger. They hand craft all their burgers, and happy to customise, will continue to come back, as they just deliver on the promise of a buger burger burger!

Been to burger burger many times, taken many different friends here, such a beautiful place where its located, typical melbourne eastern suburbs street with lush green trees and good vibes, the service is extremely friendly, as an example, i rang up from canterbury on grand final day and asked if they were opened and they said yes and we had a great polite conversation and i expressed my gratitude as it was my best mates birthday and i wanted to take him there. we got there and the guy knew it was me who had rang so he let us have whatever drinks we wanted with our full monty alberts, which was very kind. I'd never stop going there, the burgers are american style quality with fish and chip shop size.. very tasty burgers, fresh ingredients and good value, the chips are also to die for. one thing id recommend to them perhaps for the future is just slightly more flavour in their meat patties as they were nice but didnt have a lot of flavour to them, could be better, perhaps some herbs or spices..? but thats not enough to dampen the mood it really is a great place, i always sit outside and enjoy the nice view of the beautiful eastern surroundings and never leave feeling disappointed. would recommend it to anyone.
We've been getting home delivery from these guys quite a bit recently. Although the brioche buns tend to disintegrate in your hands, the meat is juicy and filings great. The onion rings are FABULOUS. Chips are also great - last time i had the Parmesan and the big delight was eating all the bits of parmesan at the bottom of the box. Yum.
I was intrigued when I heard the name itself, and decided to check it out. I like my burgers meaty and messy and juicy. Since I wasnt that hungry, i thought I should go for a basic or near to basic burger. I decided on the Belmore Bacon and omg! I loved it! Felt the juiciness tingling in my mouth while i shamelessly devoured the burger!
Ambience is chill, good for office folks to relax during their lunch. The mood is also right for a big group of friends to catch up! Premises are clean.
Service is top notch. Staff are caring and of good vibe.

Excellent meat pattie, juicy, chunky and substantial. With the brioche bun it gives a very nice mouth feel. The only thing is theres a fair bit of wait when they are busy, we waited about 20 mins for ours but worth it. Fries are super crunchy but if i didnt have it i would just be as happy. Will return.

Burger Burger does serve up some kick ass burgers. Prolly the best in all of Melbourne. Don't remember which version I had ordered exactly. But the beef was succulent and made all the difference.

Really nice burgers! I bought a voucher at a charity auction, and 4 of us used it to try this place out and will definitely go back. It was fantastic, even for a Tuesday it was very popular. I had the Slider Trio because I couldn't choose between a few of the options on the menu, and highly recommend it. Also the chips with parmesan cheese, yummy - the cheese was spread all through the dish, and not just plonked on top.
I would have given a 5 rating if I could have bought a glass of wine or beer with the meal.

Did the takeaway thing last night with the family. We ordered online which was so easy and you even get the opportunity to make changes to your burger (add or take off ingredients). Paid by PayPal and they text through a message when order is ready to collect. It was fast, burgers were great, chips hot, family happy. Would use again and recommend highly to people.

BurgerBurger has some of the tastiest burgers that Melbourne has to offer. We love that the burgers are cleverly named after the surrounding suburbs. It is a great place to have a quiet sit down and have quick lunch. The staff are super friendly and service is fast. The burgers are super scrumptious and absolutely huge! We must confess we have never actually polished off a full burger from here because they are so filling!
TIP: Do try the Chicky Canterbury- our all time favourite. Don't forget to order some French Fries with Parmesan Sprinkle!

We ordered double monty albert, belmore bacon, cheeseburger, fries and onion rings.
Both burgers were bursting with flavour and had just the right amount of ingredients without making the burger's too sloppy and hard to eat.
The burgers here are more on the traditional side so no real crazy ingredient combo's.
My only gripe is the onion rings were pretty bad. The onion was cut too finely so you are just eating fried batter which also made it very oily.

I always thought I already had a favourite burger place but this is so much better. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming, they acknowledge your presence and address customers respectfully. The food is amazing, acceptable prices and wide range to select from. It's literally opposite Surrey hills station and I liked it so much I went there twice in one week. It's a pity it's not on my train line, or else I'd be there more often!
For me, this place had one of the best simple burgers I've tasted. I ordered the Simply Surrey cheese burger and even though the deal wasn't on the menu, I got the burger and chips for only $10. The brioche bun was light and sweet, the Wagyu beef patty was perfectly cooked with some pink still inside and deliciously juicy. The cheese was properly melted and not overpowering (which I'm always worried about with a cheeseburger) and their specialty sauce is just incredible- it really made the burger for me. The light crunchy chips on the side were really great too, I left feeling full but not like I couldn't walk (which is always good).
The large burger in the second photo was the Double Monty Albert, ordered by my boyfriend. It was huge and although he said delicious, was also very difficult to eat.
The interior is modern and fresh and the staff were lovely. Will definitely be recommending this joint and returning again soon.

Burgers are amazing! I made a custom vegetarian burger and my friend got a chicken burger and we both agreed it was one of the best burgers we have ever had. It was super busy on a Saturday night so we had about a 30min wait on a phone order but it was worth it
Ordered the burwood beast from burger burger and woah it was a massive burger. Was feeling peckish at work and made advantage of the delivery offered. When the burger arrived I was stunned of the size but I guess when you order a burger which contains double beef double bacon double cheese all topped of with some beautiful fried chicken then you should't be shocked. Usually a burger of this size makes me need to sit on the toilet for the next 2 hours but these surprisingly was not very greasy at all. It all stayed well together despite being delivered and is one of the better burgers I have had. Will definitely go back and eat there again, keep up the good stuff.
Probably one of the best burgers I've ever had. The chicky Canterbury is HUGE!!! Super tasty although I would have like a bit more coleslaw to balance out the giant pieces of chicken. Chips are also delish but a tad expensive for a small portion. Service is friendly and food comes out fast.

Shit this place has cracking burgers! I'm pretty much come here on a regular basis! That burger burger sauce is mad! I want the recipe... I first came in here when they first opened, and it's good to see the original cheeseburger and some new favourites still taste just as delicious!
The owners are super friendly, and the fit out is top notch! Keep up the good work! 😀
The fam and I opted for delivery of four burgers last Saturday night! Husband, 20yr old daughter,17 yr old son and myself all had to agree that they were the best burgers that we'd ever had! Delivery chap was very friendly and the burgers were fresh,neat and delicious despite being "delivered"! Thank you BB!

Must definitely try the Full Monty, Chips or Onions Rings are also cooked to perfection but what stands out about these guys from the rest is the quality of meat that they use the patties melt in your mouth!!!
Other good points about the guys at burger burger would be the cheese is t fake tasting and the veggies are always nice and crisp and don't taste like they have been refrigerated overnight.
Place also has nice natural sunlight and is clean and well maintained.

Big, filling, and super delicious burger and chips. Easily one of the best burgers in Melbourne. I had the chicken burger, I forget the name, but it was so good I almost didn't even miss the beef! Will be back to try a beef burger. Great stuff guys
Delicious burgers! Only issue is the wait time! It took ages for our order to come. Staff very focused on attending to take away orders rather than diners in store.

My husband and I were around the area and didn't know what to eat. I looked up on Zomato and found Burger Burger so we decided to try out. The restaurant looks new & modern with simple industrial furniture. It was a 40 degree outside kind of day and the air condition was working at its best. The skylight at the seating area was probably making it worse.
My husband, who is a big fan of burgers, went for the Full Monty. I wasn't feeling too hungry so I ordered the Cheese burger. Food came out quite fast, looking decent and promising. We also got a complimentary onion rings from the owner for being honest customers :).
Tasting time. The ingredients were fresh and well cooked. The meat patties were juicy. However, I found the buns a little greasy for my liking. The chips & the onion rings were crunchy & not too oily.
I would recommend Burger Burger to local customers, in fact I do think its their target market. I think they also offer $10 combo at special time of the day. Our experience here was nice, we appreciate the decent portion & attentive service. However, the food didn't impress us too much to bring us back any time soon.
Dropped in for Dinner with a few mates after hearing some pretty good things about the place. Staff were really friendly, food came out pretty quickly. Burgers were a good size and besides being a bit a bit juicy and messy they were al round pretty good.Had the cheeseburger and it was delicious! Good little local place would definitely come back!
I have had a lot of burgers over the years and this burger house rates very very highly. Clean neat premises and exceptionally tasty burgers.......what more could you ask for!

Loved the food and the service. Had the beef burger (forgot the name) and the fried chicken wings which were both amazing. The service from the young Asian lady was top notch. Highly recommended.

Great burgers, cheesy bacon fries and onion rings. Quick service, cute burger buns to match xmas theme and the owner gave us a complimentary milkshake for the kids. Topping the dine-in experience to the great score.
Friendly staff, serving you efficiently. My burger was delicious & huge; all perfectly cooked. Their chips were yummy & not greasy. Nice venue, with a small number of seats outside. I can imagine they could be very busy in the evening & quite noisy but fun. Street parking only, but there are side streets within a short walk where you could find extra spaces. Definitely worth giving them a try.

Surprisingly delightful burger joint with good quality ingredients. Burger patties seem juicy because of the beef, but also somewhat dense and overmixed. Overall still a solid burger with good sauces and fillings. solid fries. Onion ring was oversalted. Busy ambiance but attentive staff. Decent range of can/bottle beer.
