Its quite hard to find a fish and chip place that ticks all the boxes , but this one did. We have been searching for our new go-to fish and chip place. Owner was super friendly, noticed that it was our first time, goes to show he pays attention to his customers. We ordered the lunch pack with extra dim sims and potato cakes and there was more than enough to feed two people with leftovers.
Batter is light and not oily at all. Fish was soft and melted in your mouth. Would travelling here for good fish and chips.
For our monthly ‘Fish and Chip Friday’ at work, we ordered some fish and chips from the local shop. Items we ordered from the menu were flake ($5.80), potato cakes ($1.00), dim sims ($1.00) and a hamburger with the lot ($8.00).
love this place! staff are friendly and portions sizes great for the price. the lamb souvlakis are my favourite and always seem to be fresh and worth the money! chips are also great too
A1++ Surrey Hills Fish 'n Chip shop.....Riversdale Rd. (opp. Through Rd.). Our local Fish 'n Chippery in Riversdale Rd. opp. Through Rd. is the best around by far!! David is the friendly owner who loves a chat. They always sell excellent quality and good sized Flake and give friendly service. We always enjoy our order of Fish and Chips. They also make delicious Hamburgers and Souvlaki's..... and the Pineapple Fritters are pretty good too!

My 'almost' local but worth a few more Kms for the extra cheeky potato cake and thick cut fish. Always a warm smile too!

Best place for fish and chips - the fish is always cooked perfectly. I've used eftpos here - not sure if it's a new thing. Service is also very friendly

The proprietors cook a very nice fish, no eftpos though can be slightly inconvenient with no ATM close by a night. This place is only for takeaway and seems to be very busy late in the week. Enjoy
Excellent fast Fish and Chippery close by to Surrey Hills Rail Station on Union Road.Fresh fish fried or grilled is served with chips or a range of other hot food made to order.
