Review Cafe 2232 - Sutherland

Location is pretty convenient right next to the bus stop and train station. I just tried the coffee which was decent. The service speed is something they can improve on. The interior looks interesting with things placed on walls to give a bit of old World look

Absolutely perfect coffee. My super weak flat white was amazing - (sorry coffee snobs). The foods is great, it's super convenient and the staff are lovely. Congratulations.

Across the road from Sutherland station, this cafe has a great rustic flavour that compliments the coffee and cakes. Indeed, the back room is the real winner. It's walls are decorated in all manner of items from paintings, ship models, armour and antique equipment. This is a great place for a catchup with friends over a cappuccino. And in winter it has a heater! EDIT: I love the ship models

The inner area of this cafe is absolutely fantastic! So much personality and quirkiness in one spot! I wish more cafes had this level of character. The staff were also quite friendly despite being super busy. Best of all... THEIR CANNOLI IS SUPERB. So much cannoli out there is a let down but surprisingly, this cafe's cannoli is legitimately good.

The cook in the back is bad. I have eaten a hamburgers zero taste. Gave them another chance few weeks later orded beef sausage on a roll with chips . Got it burnt inside outside along with discusting chips oily. I won't even share my blt blat.

The place looks good has a good vibe, with its 10 staff and they are all standing around doing nothing but playing with the nails and hair. I ordered a ham cheese and tomato toasted sandwich and I got there 20 mins before my train to Nowra its a public holiday so there is only very few trains scheduled and Cafe2232 couldn't make a simple sandwich in time people were standing around frustrated waiting on simple things that they couldn't make on time.. Never again will I Eat at your pathetic Cafe...

They seem incapable of making a "hot" coffee, no matter how many times you say extra hot....I only go there when the cafe around the corner is packed out the door..no prizes for knowing why. No competition from this place, I suggest you ask for a extra hot, long black....the only way to get something tepid. 🌬️🌀🥶

Hey guys. Dont want to rain on the parade but I have now bought food 3 times at the cafe at Loftus (muffins and croissants) and each time the food has been dry and not edible and I've had to throw it away. Thought it was a small niggle at first but it's happened 3 times now. If you want to keep up a good following some fresh food doesn't go astray! It's been a big shame as the coffee is great and your location is very convenient! Hopefully it can be addressed.

I have never in my life seen such amazing staff in a cafe before. -- I am travelling from interstate and am currently sitting here working for a few hours in between apppontments. -- Every single customer that has walked through the doors over the past 2 hours has been treated with such genuine friendliness and care. What an amazing culture here and the food and coffee was superb! -- Dear Mr 2232 Owner you should be super proud of the business and quality staff you have built here! Well done!

As a bus driver I go into a lot of cafes and I have to say that 2232 is up there at the top for my favourite... the service is wonderful, the staff are super friendly and they always remember how I like it made... their food is great especially the selection of homemade that’s available and I always look forward to arriving there after a long trip and racing over to get a coffee before taking off again... I’ve tried other cafes in Sutherland but now stick with the best... Justine

I like the idea of 2232 however have experienced wait times of up to 10 minutes for below average coffee on multiple occasions. Today I thought I would try the new Loftus location but have yet again been dissapointed. The staff made 1 coffee at a time and stopped to discuss the news. As a train commuter this is very inconvenient. May I suggest the Hey You app? Currently a great place for the elderly community to waste time.

Had the most yummiest breakfast yesterday . Even my Labrador enjoyed the Breaky . Will definitely be back Luna gives 2232 a ���� rating . Thanks again �

Inconsistent meals. No dressing for the salad and when asked the reason given was they had run out! Really is this a cafe or just a backyard mediocre meal supplier? There are much better alternatives to Cafe 2232

Had poached eggs on toast with a coffee for $10. Great value simple breakfast, came out fast, nice for a cheap and quick brunch

Good coffee and food was good and reasonably priced. Menu wasn't over complicated and wait wasn't too long. We all loved the retro Aussie nostalgic room out back. ������� we shall

How sad you stand in line get ignored, you made and served your regulars before us and left us waiting...four people served before us...what a joke!!!

Lately have loved the visits for quick lunches. The coffee this time and last time was excellent. Maybe they have changed baristas or have i just been lucky? I could recommend again. Previous review below last couple of visits the coffee was only average. Really put off by the trashy video screen and usually awful music. Disappointed because just wanted a lovely relaxing lunchtime. I used to think this place had amazing coffee rivaling anywhere in Sydney but now could not recommend it.

Heard the coffee here was amazing! And I bet it normally is! Ordered a soy milk coffee and 3 others the same. All milk tasted a little sour! Left a funny taste in our mouth! Lovely set up of cafe. And will try again for a better coffee one day!
