Review Food Xchange - Sutherland

I’d like to think I’ve tried an extensive variety of burgers particularly around Sydney… And these ticks all the boxes; seriously. From the quality of ingredients to portion size - every step of your experience is carefully curated and nothing is overlooked. The salad bar looks absolutely mouth-watering. Banter with the owner is really pleasant and friendly. You can’t be disappointed here. I’m certainly becoming a regular customer.

I've given this place two chances. The burgers here are great but both times they gave me a milkshake instead of the thickshake that I asked for. They also mixed up the orders of everyone at my table. I did find it a clean and comfortable place with polite staff, but they need to get the orders correct. Edit: Third time in right now. Nice cappuccino 😀

Tried this place on a whim, absolutely NO regrets! Fantastic food, fantastic interior. Overall amazing!

I cannot rate this place more highly!!! The crinkle cut chips are hands down the best ive ever had. So so so crunchy 🤤.The chicken schnitzel wrap is amazing, I always get it in the meal. Value for money. Definitely worth my 5 star rating.

Excellent food. The wraps are juicy and fresh. The chips are some of the best I've ever had. The photo doesn't do it justice! Staff have always been very pleasant.

Im giving this a 4 star rating and not a 5 simply because of the inconsistency. Not on taste because taste so far has always been really good but more on the portion size. The shop as a whole is great. If you don't want a burger and chips and want something a little healthy, the salads and fx plate are a really great option. If you want something "homey" you can get a roast with gravy and veg. Probably becoming one of my favourite places to eat in the shire as its simple, tasty and wholesome. I have been to both the Sutherland and Caringbah locations and for me the Sutherland tends to be better. In regards to the inconsistency it just depends on who is serving on the day which does happen at a lot of food places but it can be annoying when one day you get a really great portion and the next time you get a really slim portion. All in all though, high recommend.

Really enjoyed all my visits to the Caringbah Venue and when the Sutherand venue opened, i was really pleased as its closest. It started with a similar good experience as the Caringbah venue, but in 2021 the quality of food has dropped. Ordered 1x Nikkis with roast pork for my daughter and myself and a few hours later we were both stricken with stomach pains. My daughter next morning had high temperature and stomach pains and trips to the toilet, i got off a little lighter with mild pains that lasted half a day. Daughter missed school and now can’t return until a covid test as she had a fever by which the school assumed could be covid now needs a negative test so 3 days wait. Be careful when ordering food, probably safest to order something that is deep fried to kill any bacteria.

I love the FX plate but sometimes inconsistent on the chicken serving. The peri peri spicy sauce is different now too

RUDE STAFF - Coffee was nice, however got yelled at by the owner (I assume) randomly reminding me that the kitchen was closed, which I had already been made a aware of by another member of staff. Wouldn't go back again. Guy with the pony tail needs to mind his manners and treat customers with respect!

KFC style chicken and crinkle cut chips! Where can you go wrong.<br/>I always crave crinkle cut chips and I love Crispy Fried Chicken, so this is my go to when I want some chicken and chips, it's cheap!<br/>The wife had the pulled lamb and pita and loved it, this place has a really good variety of foods.

Not a bad little place to grab a quick bite to eat. A combination between Greek, Rotisserie style food and salads at decent pricing means you won’t go hungry
