This is a gem of a place in Swan Hill for breakfast or lunch, highly recommended. Friendly service, great tasting coffee and a high standard of food, really tasty and enjoyed their Classic Breakfast

Cafe 202 has an exciting upbeat vibe !! Very 'city' in it's feel, with young, hard working, and very clean and charming staff. The colours inside Cafe 202 are beautiful! I'm always proud to take my friends there! For many, it's the part of their Swan Hill trip that was the most memorable! Oh, and by the way...the coffee is sensational ! A must for visitors ! ❤️👍

Just had the best breakfast at Cafe 202. Highly recommend! Staff were brilliant, attentive and seemed to have great morale. Try it, you’ll love it too!

Efficient service, range of hot baked food not just the usual fried up stuff. Just had a great traditional breakfast. Mmmm, scramble eggs nice..... Robin the owner great for local knowledge.

Visited Swannhill for the long weekend - was ready to brave my days without coffee but this amazing cafe had exactly what we needed to boost our daily coffe intake. Coffees were made with special attention to detail. Food was also amazing - you can tell how good the coffee was from the long lines just from the locals. Lovely customer service too!

Really appreciated the vibe, food and coffee that this place served. It felt as if I was having brunch in Melbourne CBD. One of the best places for good food in Swan Hill! Highly recommend the halloumi and poached eggs 😍 I would gladly have that every weekend!

Nice place and coffee. I ordered the Bircher muesli with panna cotta and didn’t enjoy it. Have had nicer muesli from the supermarket. Hubby thoroughly enjoyed his bacon and eggs hence the 3 star rating.

Quick friendly country style service. Welcomed with a smile and a warm hello. The egg and bacon roll is a great way to start your day.

I’ve got to say, even though this place looks like a hospital cafeteria full of grannies, it makes a damn good coffee, and good smoothies. I just wish there was more sunshine dining, and music.

Both my partner and i got the spare new the details. Eggs were cooked perfectly, the flavours of the beetroot, fetta and asparagus were all amazing. Loved every bite!

Went in for a drink on a freezing day. Had been told that this is THE place to get coffee in Swan Hill and it smelt good, and I can say that they do care about their machines. One of the staff was seen around getting new parts. But I don't drink coffee often and had hot chocolate instead. I'd like to say it was chocolaty but it wasn't. It was mild, very mild. Warm but not flavourful. The juice was reported as okay.

I think this place deserves a second visit from me to properly check it out since it was busy and seemed good.

Had a great lunch - good service and the coffee was very good. Kids enjoyed the breakfast on offer and I had a mini pizza. Food was excellent - I would recommend this cafe if travelling through Swan Hill.

Fresh food, would come back. Enjoyed some takeaway sandwiches, I had smoked salmon sandwich which tasted very fresh (more than I had expected) and hubby enjoyed his BLT.
Coffee was good too.
Would come back if we are in the area.

Coffee I didn't just have to settle for. Thank goodness that even in country towns, there's always ONE cafe that opens early Sunday to serve the caffeine-craving wanderers. That's why I popped into Cafe 202 before 9 a.m. on a bicycle-riding weekend around the Murray. I wasn't expecting much; just a coffee fix so my brain didn't start spasming. This place is decent, though, not just somewhere I had to settle for just because nothing else was trading at the time. The mug of flat white ($4) that I had was full-bodied and mellow, with nicely microfoamed milk. It would merit the approval of Melbourne coffee snobs. 202 has a nice selection of baked goods (which is what I'm always looking for of a morning) and most appear to be made in-house. I had a raspberry friande, which was light-textured and had a goodly amount of fruit in it. I've been a fanatic for Florentines ever since the first one I tried in a small town in Provence, France, but the one I had here didn't measure up to that. It was made with cornflakes and peanuts, not flaked almonds as the traditional ones are. But bless 202 Cafe's heart for trying, though. Diners around me seemed to be happy with their savoury brekkies, so 202 Cafe must be a Swan Hill Sunday highlight.

Okay coffee, average salads/okay food, no table service.
