Review Priya Indian Cusine - Sydenham

Jeff Smith
What a great restaurant. I am so happy with the place, the food is tremendous, great quality, tasty, spicy, and truly wonderful. The staff are attentive and always on point, they even place the beer the table with the label facing you. Magnificent food Great service Lovely vibe Highly recommended

Food was good though I was expecting that to be excellent. Good service with convenient location

This is the Keema naan I order, it looked more like aloo parantha... I have had keema parantha before but it doesn’t look like this.I am sorry to say their quality is horrible! I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant anymore. Also when I ordered their food for pickup the prices shown on Zomato and the prices they are charging is completely different, around 30% more. When I called them, instead of apologising they said that this is what they serve! That is just disgusting.

Food was good but too much waiting time and i remember i was farting 💨 all night. plz if you are reading this dont put too many masala and ingredients man.

I don't usually hand out 5 stars, but this place definitely deserves it. The staff were friendly, polite, well dressed and attentive. The ambience was great and the food was fantastic. Its a bit more pricy than your average Indian joint but worth the extra. Chicken tikka was on point and so were the naans. They've got a paan kulfi; the best I've ever had. Definitely worth a visit.

If you’re looking to book for dinner pls keep in mind that the Sydenham store is temporarily closed and the next closest store is in Caroline springs :)

Thank you for such an awesome meal. Cooked to perfection and outstanding service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Warm welcoming staff and owner. Always good consistency in food that keeps me taking back to Priya. For me it is important to be treated with respect and courtesy along with great food and that is why I am a regular at this place. There are many places in Melbourne that serve great food but not many that also know how to treat customers like Priya

I think the best curry you have in Melbourne...compare to other mich better quality and service ...amd food was amazing....

rude behaviour of owner don't know how to deal with customer... and i been to heaps of restaurants they always charge same for dine-in or take away prices and they charge me extra $ for dine-in which is really annoying

Everytime we have a meal at priya it is delicious. Tonight we absolutely loved it again and enjoyed celebrating our wedding anniversary. Thank you
Mohit Arora
Compare to the price of their food, quality of food and service is below an expectation. Not recommended at all.

Regular customer for last 4 years.. we had recently catering done via Priya and food was just fabulous. Shiv from Priya is totally helpful and very accommodating.. thx for all your help

Great food and great service to match. Had the butter chicken and garlic naan bread which is amazing!

Pathetic food and really poor customer service even when the restaurant is not busy. Food is expensive and badly made. Their chicken vindaloo dish has no taste of vindaloo. It's simple chicken with a lot of chat masala. The naan is thin and small like a Papad. Saffron rice is a quantity to laugh at. I have never seen such a small quantity of rice in any indian restaurant across the world for an amount close to $5. Next comes the table arrangement. No cutlery provided till u particularly ask for it. No water offered till you ask. The guy at the pay counter is extremely unhappy to take any feedback. No sorry, no thank you....no complains are welcome.
The experience we had in this place and the number of good reviews here makes me wonder if we are an exception, was it the chef that day or are the reviews written by people from the locality who regularly visits and cannot complain.
This is one of the few bad places.

Food is always fabulous but really struggle to find something not spicy for my little one.

RV gave us an amazing hospitality. He offered us the best dishes to try
It may look like your average neighborhood Indian restaurant, but Priya Restaurant is anything but excellent !!

The food is wonderful, from preparation to presentation, very pleasing. All service staff were very helpful and cordial. I highly recommend this place.

I really wanted to like this place because it is close to home. We were quickly seated and order taken, service was fantastic.

After ordering we noticed the water bottle had bits floating through it and a film at the bottom. We requested a different bottle.

We ordered a few entrees, curry and biryani. Entrees were fine. We found the chicken makhani overly sweet as others have mentioned. The biryani was meant to have goat in it but clearly was very dry chicken. I notice the menu on Zomato now lists 'mixed meats' in the biryani instead of goat.

After reading another review post about prices on the menu and charged prices being different, I made a point of noting the prices for things we ordered. After checking our receipt the same had occurred to us. Will not be back again.

The food is very tasty although, it’s quite expensive for such small servings. Unfortunately, we still felt hungry after our main meals and due to this reason I don’t think we will be back!

very nice food
Good for take away 😁 my favourite thing to get here is the butter chicken and the satay chicken
The mango yoghurt drink is also so good

I am a regular customer but was very disappointed last night. I ordered two servings of coconut rice and even had the order read back to me where the man said “two servings of coconut rice”. However we got home to realise our order of two coconut rices was wrong and instead we had two rices that were made up with fruit and nuts in it. When I called to tell the man he’s response was that the rice (which now had a completely different name to coconut rice) has “coconut in it” which is why he sent it. Coconut rice is NOT rice with some coconut in it. And it is very lucky that we paid attention to the rice and that we don’t have a nut allergy. Imagine if we did and we ate it. Please be more careful next time.

Indian food here is one of the best in the west. The atmosphere was relaxing and the food was really flavoured need to try out yourself. Definitely be back again for some more spicy curry.
Munching With Mel
Rating: 3.5
It was the aroma that got me walking into this restaurant without realising. Service was a slight let down and therefore affects my experience at this restaurant. It took us a while to get seated and get our menu. Overall, staff were friendly with their kind gestures.

Food was exceptionally delightful to the mouth and nose. Although portion seemed small for its expensive price, we got pretty full quickly. If you come here, you’ve got to try the butter chicken: the sauce has such a beautiful smell and its chicken is succulent. The lamb one, however, didn’t quite match my palate as its taste was a bit too strong, but had a nice smell also.

I definitely recommend the naan bread. You can not go wrong with the cheese naan and garlic naan, how soft and fluffy it is when you rip it open. It is not only good by itself but also a good compliment when you dip it in the butter chicken sauce. I will come back to try the other foods on their menu!

Food: 4
Service: 3
Ambience: 3
Value: 3.5

The best ambience, bit on the heavy side of the pocket but worth it, the curries and bread is great. Really enjoyed it. If you are a biryani lover, this place is going to disappoint you.
Chips Before Dips
We absolutely loved this Indian! I’d say the food is about on par (or perhaps slightly better) than the other stand out Indian I’ve had in Melbourne, with the service truly setting it apart from the rest. The staff were all super attentive, friendly and helpful. Great to have a new go-to favourite Indian restaurant close to home. Look forward to our next visit.
Jasvir0165
Overcharged us according to their menu. Either the menu is not updated or they overcharged us for every thing we ordered. The food was good however, and the service was ok. There was a long wait time on the desert.

Best Indian cuisine in the western suburbs.
This hidden gem is such great value for money.
Such authentic flavours for a reasonable price. Staff are so lovely, attentive and genuine.
Love coming back here!
#GoodFoodGoodMood

Nice restaurant for sit down service. Food is delicious, however the serving sizes are a little small for the price. Lamb cutlets are amazing.

This restaurant is by far the best indian restaurant I have been too! The service is great. The food omg.. delicious! I have tried many others apart from one that came close to it, but others.. no match to Priya at all! I dont live as close as I use to (which was only a 2 mins drive now a 15min drive) but worth still going to. My only issue is, that we over order all the time, that's how good it is!!
Rice Ball
I wanted to try another Indian restaurant because our usual favourite is a bit overpriced but I had a mediocre experience with Priya.

Food: We ordered the tandoori doubar, butter chicken and garlic naan.
The tandoori doubar was a rip off...$20 for a couple of pieces of meat that unfortunately was overcooked. The lamb was the only enjoyable piece for me. The rest was dry because it was undesirable cuts of chicken. The butter chicken was very very sweet. We tried salting it ourselves and squeezing some lime to balance it out but it was still really over powering. The garlic naan was the most delicious item we ordered but it was so small for something costing $2.50 each.

Service: friendly and fast.
Butter chicken is to die for! Can’t say I’m a regular in Indian cuisine but the butter chicken here is amazing. Garlic naan is also tasty, nice and flaky. Customer service is also exceptional and the place is very local to me. Will be revisiting very soon :)

Having previously visited the larger Priya branch in Point Cook and finding it ok/not bad, I was pleasantly surprised to find that food at the original branch in Sydenham was better and definitely worth the drive out of town. The pani puri was excellent, as were the chilli prawn starters which had a lovely Indo-Chinese sauce. For mains we had the garlic chilli paneer which was spicy and very good, the angaar vindaloo chicken (medium hot) which actually wasn't as spicy as the paneer but had an excellent sauce, and very good naan. The vegetable manchurian gravy was initially forgotten from our order, but came out later with vegetable fried rice and these were probably the two weaker dishes of our meal - with the fried rice being a little dry and the dumplings being too soft/doughy for my tastes. The wait time between entrees and mains were also a little on the longer side. Overall though, a very good Indian restaurant that I would recommend.

Fantastic Indian food and 5 star service in the West.
Have been here a few times and the food has always been great with the wait staff always making an effort to ensure a great dining experience. Can't wait to go back

A cultural and masterful work of perfection. Fresh out of the kitchen of the Slumdog Millionaire himself, the meals we had today cemented Indian cuisine as a must visit each month. With service, ambience and value for how good it is being above average let us shift the focus on the main highlight- the food.

The Vegetable Samosa Chat... Incredible. Who knew vegetarian food could taste so good? With yogurt and a plethora of sauces coating each bite, this made us lust for more as it lined our stomachs for what was to come.

The butter chicken. Best in the business. Dipped with perfect Garlic Naan, we were speechless. Succulent, juicy and tasty curry full of flavour- exactly what you expect and love. The tandoori special was also extravagant, offering us a taste of many different flavours of chicken which was pleasantly eaten.

We have no words other than perfection. Outstanding meat and food that truly represents the heart of India and perhaps the Pinnacle of Indian cuisine. A best in the area and one of our favorites by far.

Food: 5/5
Ambience: 3.5/5
Service: 3.5/5
Value: 3.5/5

Overall: 4/5

Came here last night and realised all the prices have gone up! But I didn't mind, as long as the food was nice
Yes the food was nice but not the best Indian food. Probably the same as any other Indian restaurant. The cheese naan and saffron rice was definitely not worth the price! Only the curries were good, the meats were nice and tender

Wouldn't come back all in all

Went on Sunday with my partner and girlfriend had the worst food with shit service and no warmth. Had to suffer severe food poisoning whole night n day after. Please go if u want to die or recommend it if u want others to die. Really pissed off. I would say worst food in entire Australia served here. Do not go for butter chicken and lamb madras, I suffered a lot having these two. I would ask the owner to get well behaved staff and look after service provided as guests pay for food n service.

Great food, service an experience! Manager and staff are extremely professional, and no matter how busy they are, food come out quickly. Excellent variety to choose from and everything we've had was beautiful.

For a local Indian restaurant you can't go wrong.

Garlic chicken & Chicken tikka was delicious. Service was quick and manager was very friendly . We had to wait for few minutes due to rush hour but it was worth a wait :)

Great chicken tandoori, great chicken butter, love they Chicken Tikka, Samossa, mango lassi, love their Goolap. Not too spicy since I'm a chilly eater.
Service was quicked, the staff just so so. Better for take away

Price $$ for small outlet

Great north Indian food. Service is excellent and fast. Highly recommend this restaurant, enough parking and reasonably priced. Keep up the good work!

Priya is hands down one of the best Indian restaurant I've been to. Service is outstanding, the atmosphere is clean, warm and inviting, and the food is delicious. I genuinely cannot fault this place, absolutely recommend!

Best food, always too difficult trying to decide what to order as the menu has so much variety. Lovely staff and great service. A busy little resturant because its so good!
Jakson John Simeoni
Great staff friendly and prompt service. Love the delivery option on weekends alsi really nice atmosphere according to my indian friends its very authentic and i know it's definately delicioys but if it says spicy that is no lie here, the food is spicy when specified

Used to get take away all the time and really enjoyed it but the last time I got it had really bad food poisoning and it's turned me off it for good

We came here tonight on a whim, someone at work had mentioned it was nice, we have a few Indian restaurants that we normally go to close to home. This will be our new regular. Everything was amazing, service was excellent and pricing standard. Absolutely delicious.

Been going here for years now. The quality is excellent and always (ALWAYS) consistant.
They have the best butter chicken ive ever tasted. Everything is perfect - including the friendly staff (who are always willing to give doggos a scratch behind the ear)
Highly recommended.
This is dog signing out. Woof!

Atmosphere: small yet spaced restaurant, nice/classier vibe.

Service: friendly, attentive, quick.

Food: Ordered the butter chicken and lamb rogan josh with a side of rice and naan. Pro: everything tasted nice. Con: Portions on the small side - more sauce less protein.

Price: A bit pricey compared to portions given.

Overall would return maybe for take away as cheaper.
Vallia Dahdouh Meseiha
Love this place, food and service is always top notch!!! Love the palak paneer, rogan josh and the butter chicken. Friendly staff and clean and lovely spot. We frequent often and always leave with a smile.

Enjoyed my food great chicken saag and keema nan. Onion bhajiis disappointing as were like onion rings and too much batter, I am used to a whole ball of bhajiis
Abra Cadabra
This place makes really great Indian food! My fav is the lamb madras and the sizzling platter. Their byriani is really good too! Excellent breads, raita is good and a good selection of drinks available. Best Indian this side of town!

Been there with my wife n a friend.
Had entree and main. Entree which was cold so I asked the waiter to fix that and later whn I received the same entree again but this time bit warm not hot so I wasn't happy. And then my wife found a hair in her curry. No apology from staff at all.
Not happy.

My take away experience was exceptional. Phone order was taken courteously. Price quoted and estimated time before my meal would be available for collection.
Arriving to the store I was impressed with the quality of the decor and cleanliness of the small restaurant. Staff again impressed me with their politeness. My meal was walked around the counter and handed to me personally.
And the food! Wow. Best Indian I've had on this side of town. Magnificent. It's not my closest but I'll be working my way through their menu with gluttonous glee.

One of the best Indian restaurants in the west. Excellent service, good variety of options on the menu and delicious food. Consistent food quality and service. Been eating here for years. Numero Uno service as well!
It's All About Food
Awesome food.. One of our favourite Indian food joint in western suburb.. They have a very wide range menu, very friendly staff.. Good service, tasty food and good am ambience it what you need.. If you like Indian food you must visit his place .. Always on my list

One of my favourite Indian restaurants. Have been going to Priya since it opened. The best butter chicken in the west and the lamb korma is great as well. Beef Vindaloo is also very good. I recommend garlic naan to soak up the sauces.

Edit:
I think the chef has changed. The butter chicken is no where near as good as it used to be. We used to order it for our kids but not any more, too spicy for them. The quality of meat has also dropped. It's shame as it used to be our favourite Indian restaurant.

Don't judge a book by its cover. Well, this little gem, hidden away in a local area, is a nice find. I got take away but will definitely visit Priya for a dine-in meal with my family. The parking can be a little difficult, with the restaurant located in a small group of shops with not a lot of parking space. A friend of mine who lives locally recommended Priya to me a long time ago but I completely forgot all about it.

The decor is lovely, with Indian art works adorning the walls and crisp, white tablecloths and napkins. Priya is oh so clean. The background instrumental music was playing softly and the staff were immaculately dressed, very professional and polite. The service was prompt and the prices are quite good, making for an inexpensive dinner.

The Chicken Makhani ("butter chicken") was the real deal according to my son, who favours this dish. He said it tasted authentic, exactly how he expected the dish should taste. The Tandoori chicken was juicy and slightly hotter (chilli hot) than some other places, but we prefer it like this. The mint chutney that came with it was quite flavoursome but not perfect as it was a touch too runny.

If our take away was anything to go by, I can't wait to try the dine-in and will sample some meals that are not what we usually order. I told my son the family will go there for a dine-in meal and he suggested we go to Priya the following night. Now that is a stamp of approval.

Edit: Well, we ate in at Priya tonight and I must say my first impressions were almost all correct. The tablecloths are indeed crisp and white, but I hadn't noticed that white butcher's paper was mostly covering the white cloth. Not a big deal and I can certainly understand why they do it if my white cloth napkin after the meal was anything to go by.

The tandoori platter was superb but the seekh kebabs were a bit too dry, the only thing that let the dish down. The seafood platter was delicious - fish, prawns and crab meat. The veg masala (mixed veg, I can't remember the name they give it in Priya) was spicy hot and probably my favourite, along with the crispy plain naan bread. Son #1 ordered chicken makhani ("butter chicken") (he never seems to tire of it) and it was perfectly cooked with lots of gravy. He couldn't finish it and staff were only too happy to put the remainder in a container for him to take home. That's his breakfast for tomorrow sorted!

Only one glitch in the service was when we asked for all of our meals to come out at the same time (the platters were listed as entrees but we just wanted to share all the food at the same time). There was a communication problem that saw the platters come out but no rice, naan or other dishes. A quick word to the waiter and this was sorted, with one rice coming out immediately and the rest of the food and rice a short while later. The staff were very apologetic about the whole misunderstanding.

One thing I have noticed about Indian restaurants in general is that they mostly tend to err on the side of caution with regard to the spiciness of food when Westerners are patrons.Priya's default was quite spicy though, which actually surprised me. Bear that in mind.

Overall, we will go back to Priya for sure.

Went there for dinner for the first time tonight. Really loved the restaurant and the food. The service was efficient and very friendly. Hope that they are doing well as they deserve to. Will definitely return with friends and family. Thanks.

I love going to priya for dinner. It's just around the corner so it's the perfect Friday night and Saturday night quick outting. The waiters are really friendly and attentive. Food is delicious! There are so many curries to choose from. If you let them know what type of flavour you're after they'll choose for you and they are always 100% right ! Definitely recommend.
Also read the love heart post it board on arrival. Sure to get a few laughs.

Food was great, service was alright, until we went back a second time. Only customers and never once asked how things were. Never had the waiter clear any plates. We had to stack them up ourselves just to make room. Huge let down. Won't be returning a 3rd time.
Chicken
I love Priya! This is our go to local Indian restaurant and I can't think of a time that we've been disappointed. When we go out with a group we order their banquet which has something for all tastes and leaves us rolling out. I love the butter chicken and the naan bread. The dumpling desert is the perfect way to finish off a meal. The service is always polite and warm. Highly recommend.
Megan
Tried this place last Thursday for the first time, and it was wonderful. We ordered lamb, beef, chicken and fish for the meat dishes and had the plain and garlic naan to go with them as well as some pappadams. Food was very authentic and delicious. Pappadams were probably the best I have ever had. The naan bread was delicious even on its own. All the meat dishes were so well done and the portions were generous. I will definitely be coming back here and I cannot wait for my next visit.

Good service, tasty as food. Enjoyed the butter chicken - different to fast food places and mushroom fried balls were good also. Place is romantic.

One of the better indian restaurants I've tried in the west! Not bad at all.

Best indian food in the west. Great food, fair price and amazing service!
Mr And Mrs S
The BEST in the West. This is our FAVORITE Indian restaurant and have been coming here for years.

Its small, it isn't at upmarket as Toorak, but it makes up for all this in pure flavor.

We all have the subtle principle that when things are meant to be authentic, that they are authentic all the way through.
like if you went to a Japanese Tepenyaki restaurant but the Chef that comes up is called Barryy, whos from Melton, who rode to work on his Harley and just got out of prison.

Well at Priyas your in a cosy indian restaurant served by friendly and professional INDIAN staff, and its all cooked by a real Indian chef (not Indian chief... that'd be weird.... and not authentic).

We highly recommend the butter chicken here and challenge you to find us a better butter chicken elsewhere (if you do PM the place and we'll prove this theory... purely for research purposes ;)

we rate this place: 9/10

Would we come back? Always :)

What happened???. Last night I ordered the Aloo Bangun (eggplant and potato curry) which I have ordered several times before, each of which was great. However, this time around the curry was completely different. The eggplant pieces were in large chunks, as if the chef was too lazy to cut them up smaller; the curry itself was completely different from the others I had enjoyed in the past: it was very sweet tasting; actually, almost like someone accidentally dropped a bag of sugar into it! The spices were also markedly different, leading to an inferior taste. Suffice it to say, it was not at all the Aloo Bangun curry from before.

Rest assured, after this experience I'll think twice before heading back to Priya. They either have different chefs working there, or they have reduced the quality of their food. Very disappointed.

Just finished off wonderful dinner best butter chicken daal makhani pista kulfi and best service by Varun thanks priya

Good food. Good food.. !!!
However the manager can get really annoying at times.

Friendly service and good food at a good price. I have stopped by for a takeaway lunch a few times now I look forward to sitting in and having a sit down meal one day soon. Best Indian cuisine this side of the city!
Deep_ankola64
Service is a BIG ZERO. I really don't know how the food is because I never tested it. I waited for 1 hour and 30 minutes. Still I didn't get the food. When it was getting on my nerve I inquired but past 40 minutes the waiters informed withing 2 minutes we are serving it. So I left without the food because I didn't had freaking whole night for a dinner. I observed food being served to those people who came after me, and they were busy serving take away food. So suggestion people if you still want to go PRIYA do with 3 hours of time.

Likes It. Have eaten here multiple times, and enjoy it each time. They do lovely food and curries, generous serves and good price. Only downside is they are extremely slow if ordering take-away so if you go, make sure you eat in the restuarant. Other than that, have enjoyed each time i've been there and will be back again.
Jay
40 minutes and still no food. Not coming back here again. Other tables that just sat down are served before us

Best Indian in the west, never puts a foot wrong as flood is always exceptional. Well priced as well.

Best indian. Surprisingly very good indian restaurant out in the burbs! Excellent chef. We love the tandoori , eggplant with peas, goat curry was amazing. The fresh rotis and naans brings you back to india. The goat briyani is sensational!! A must try! Very pleasant staff - very professional.

Always get the banquet!! So delicious!! It's a little squashy inside the restaurant though. But well worth it

Best Indian I've had in Melbourne by far! The staff are friendly and cater well for little kids. Great atmosphere and the food is delicious. Have been here multiple times and will keep coming back for more!
Beatrice Romeo Segura
My fiancé and I had diner there on Tuesday night. Simply AMAZING. From the food to the service, it was faultless. The food is the best Indian food you'll find in Melbourne. For such a small restaurant in the suburbs, the waiter&waitress are presented amazingly. I cherish that place, and going there always make me happy. We had a great time. A MUST go everyone.
Dave
Awesome food!. We get lunch from here every Friday at work. Best meal of the week!. We've tried most dishes on the menu and have never been disappointed. My favourites are butter chicken, rogan josh, meat samosa and tandoori roti!
Elle
By far the best Indian I've had! It is so tasty and their butter chicken is just amazing.

Love it !!. Food is always on time and just the right amount of spice.
Price is excellent .
Never had any issues.
Staff are warm and friendly.

Love it!. Best Indian restaurant in the west. The food is amazing and the service is very good too. I have dined here many times and would recommend it to anyone.
Shaun Critique
Very good.. Very nice Indian food. I grew up on Indian food (having an Anglo-Indian mother). This is a favorite for me when in Melbourne. The lamb spinach is yummy! CHECK YOUR ORDER before leaving if you order takeaway though. They have left things out on occasion. Other than that excellent! :)
Paul Smith
Butter Becky is very delicious! The extra gimpness makes the food all so tasty. But remember to order with a bit of mad air con and you should be right
Dayna Miller
Food I great here and staff are friendly, this is my favorite Indian restaurant in the area by far!
RM
Definitely a surprise finding such a lovely atmosphere and delicious food amongst a bunch of fast food places. The quality cuisine, as well as the helpful and friendly service, certainly trump the convenience of the restaurant's suburban location. I'll definitely be making a return visit!

Fantastic Food - Fabulous Service. Our Family and friends have been going to Priyas for years now :)
We generally make sure we take overseas guests to visit Priyas for both the food and the hospitality.
Tandoori Mushrooms & Paneer are my favorites (along with many other dishes).
When ever we visit we are made feel exceptionally welcome !!!

Best Indian food in the West , in fact I've been to most Indian restarants in Melbourne and I would say this place is one of my top picks, the service is always realiably great and the food is always excellent , beef vidaloo, chicken curry, naan, rice , riata, and alloo ghobi my recommendation with a glass of lassi
Wendy
Amazing. When I read some of these reviews, I'm shocked. I honestly think some of the people writing them don't think of the realities of running a small business like Priya's.
I am fussy about my food.. I have loved every dish they have brought out to me: their curries are full of flavour and freshness; their naan and rices can't be faulted.
As for their staff: they are pleasant and polite: especially the adorable guy at the front desk... he is warm and personable, even when the dining room is full to overflowing. The lady always stops by our table to make sure we are satisfied. I think the true testament to any restaurant is how many diners they have. Priya's is always full of people picking up takeaway and/or dining in its lovely little dining room. Of course you can pick at anything in life: but when the food is this good, why bother????
Jo Michielin
Lovely food, other areas lacking. The food here is superb, and plentiful, and fairly good value for money. I can't fault the food. The service was a little slow, and the lady on the front desk was quite rude and indifferent. The restaurant has a nice decor, however the tables are crammed in quite close together. We didnt quite finish our meal so we asked to take it home. Despite spending almost $100 at their restaurant (and despite the fact they do takeaway) they charged us for the plastic chinese containers to take the remainder of our meal home. It wasnt very much but it was more the principal than the cost. We might go back for the food but we wouldnt order as much as we dont want to be charged to take leftovers home. Maybe the lady on the front desk will be in a better mood too.

This is the second time I have been there in two years, last time the staff were rude and the food was awful, this time I waited over twenty mins for my food and all the butter chicken is burnt and black! Never going back!

Hands down the best butter chicken I've had. I've tried a few different places but I always end up coming back here. The dining area is pretty small though, and there's always a wait until the food comes out, so takeaway is probably a better option.

Not only is it conveniently located 7 minutes away from my house, but I have never been disappointed visiting there and the service may be slow when dining in, but it's definitely worth the wait. Like everyone, the butter chicken is a favorite accompanied by garlic naan. Yummy!

One of the best places to try yummy north Indian cuisine, in western suburb. Service is slow when you dine-in; so always prefer take-away and eat at comfort of home.

Best Indian place in the west! Go here all the time for eat in and takeaway. Takeaway portions are huge. Banquets are excellent. Nicely presented restaurant. Great staff. Love.

Prototype of Indian food. I have a big experience of good Indian food, but this restaurant with its arrogant manager is serving completely something else which doesn't taste like an original Indian food.

Love this restaurant. Great service. Beautiful chicken tikka masala and butter chicken. The banquet is awesome and reasonably priced. Highly recommend

Amazing. My husband and i have been eating food from priya for a number of years now. We love the food and think its the best indian we have ever tasted. We've dined in once, but mostly get takeaway. I love it that a lot of their food is gluten free. Highly recommended and all our friends love it too!!
