Review Chatkora's - Sydenham

This place has moved from food truck to restaurant now, I can say the taste is still amazing and authentic. But the prices are way over now, masala tea for 4.99, chole bature 17, makki sarso 18 and even being lots of space inside there are no tables/ chairs, so still operating like food truck ( take out and eat in car ). and the wait time is also too much, it was way better in food truck time. People drive all the way then wait for 20-30 min is disappointing. Even though inflation etc prices do not justify the service. Its neither food truck nor full fledged restaurant now.

The food was very delicious, and the quantity was perfect for one person. I did feel the price was a little much for what was offered. The location is great too and the eating inside your while parked seemed like a great idea to me. I had Paav Bhaji and Pani Puri and would definitely recommend it

TASTE WISE - Nothing beats this place! This is by far the best Indian food I have tasted in Melbourne. The food is authentic, fresh and super delicious. HOSPITALITY WISE - The kindness with which the owners attended to us and explained the details of dishes and offered suggestions was awesome. The love & warmth with which they served us was highly appreciated. Its not often that Indian restaurants give 10/10 service but this place has won my heart. If you are looking for "the best Indian food" in the westerns suburbs then this is the place to go to.

Authentic taste.. Excellent Service Food tastes yummy and authentic. Serving speed is reasonable and neat. Considering food truck / take away type arrangement, its little pricey but taste is surely worth most of it. Looking forward to the time when their seating arrangement is ready.

Last year I gave 5 start because Food and price was genuine. but now I have to reduce the rating because the taste has changed and the price is up to the roof. when you guys don't even have the seating arrangements. wait time is longer then accepted. No worthy going there again. better go to somewhere where u can sit and enjoy ur meal for the same price. good luck.

Such a waste of money (overpriced) the quality and quantity you get. Fine dine prices and eating outside at the car park, no water no serviettes Served by customers. Indirectly they want customer to prepare the serving. Spicy even we asked for not to do it Obviously tasteless when its super spicy. Terrible food. Stay away.

Although its a take away, the backend team does a great job with food preparation. Love the food. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the front staff. The girls need to put a smile on their faces and show some customer service rather than just take orders and hand over food.

Great place for a family outing. Fantastic food. Spicy Vada Pav in Melbourne is as authentic as a Mumbai 'bandi wala' dish. Btw all us we tasted pav bhaji, paani puri, samosa chat, tikki chat, samosa burger and even jelebi. Every item was delicious.

Chatkora’s reminded us of Delhi’s street food. All the preparations were full of flavour and had authentic taste. We had Vada paav, dahi puri and Gajar halwa and I must say we were highly impressed by everything. Can’t wait to go to Chatkora’s again and try other preparations! Thanks Chatkora’s for satisfying our taste buds to the fullest

Not too bad if you are really craving north indian chaat or street food. I liked their chole bhatura but most of the items are very rich in butter & not at all healthy. Definitely can’t eat here regularly if you are concerned about your health or fitness. That said, wouldn’t mind a rare one-off order if craving chaat. They pack take aways very well in nice little lunch containers (refer pic). Rating 2.5 or 3.

From a long time I was craving for pav bhaji and chole bhature (something spicy and Indian street style) that I finally found here. One of the best Vegetarian Indian Street Food Truck in Sydenham. Must try. Parking is available, no seating arrangement, only take away available.
