In town on business with little time tonight and as I walked past this place I noticed how full it was. Decided Thai takeaway was the meal tonight and it did not disappoint. Massaman beef curry and Jungle beef curry with Jasmine rice was ordered and it was beautiful. Fantastic flavours and great portions. Will be back again to further explore the menu.
When you are craving for thai food, you should definitely visit Hithai. Chanced upon this place and it didnt disappoint but exceeded expectation.. Yummy! Masamaan curry was soooo good!
The speed of the chef is amazing. The seafood chilli basil noodle is good but a bit salty. Also noodle soup is not bad as well. I always go there for business lunch.
HiThai is located right opposite SOP Station, it is a good option for Thai but I believe there are better options in OP. The best dish for vegetarians is the peanut noodles, although it's on the sweeter side. The rice is average and the price is more than average. They get very busy during lunch time and sometimes it's tough to find a table and the wait for food can get too long.
I work in Olympic Park and have eaten here countless times over the past few years.
There is a reason why they are always busy, especially on Fridays.
The food is consistently of a very high standard and the portion sizes are pretty big. I have never had a bad meal here.
For anyone worried about spice, the dishes are not made spicy, but they provide fresh cut chills if you need some more heat!
The massaman curry is very popular here. They also do a fantastic satay noodle stir fry.
I would go so far as to say it is in the top 2 best places to eat in Olympic Park

Recently went to the Justin Bieber concert (which was amazing😀😀) however dad luckily booked a restraint at the venue so we could have dinner and not have to worry about getting into any restaurants. So we had a booking for HiThai for 6:30pm yet we went at 6:00pm and asked if we could possibly get in any earlier. They were extremely accommodating and had us seated right then and there which was extremely nice of them because the restaurant was so packed!!! All the fans and families from concert goers were all trying to get dinner and so many of them were at HiThai. Anyways the service was quite poor so we had to get our own menus and water but this was understandable because it was SO BUSY!!! anyways we finally ordered and I got my standard Thai beef salad and OMG IT WAS THE BEST IVE EVER HAD!!! It was so amazing and probably the best one I've ever had and that's saying a lot because I have one every week! Dad got the Massaman Curry which he also said was one of the best he's had! The prices are so cheap and the portion sizes are HUGE. Will definitely be returning even if there's no concert on!
One of the few restaurants open on a Sunday afternoon, we called in for a snack of Satay Chicken sticks. At $9, the entree is a little pricier than other Thai restaurants but the portion size was acceptable for the price, and it was a pretty tasty dish.
Good place to have pad Thai chicken. Delicious it is...

This place kept calling, calling....and i finally answered the call. Just a stone's throw away from work and opposite to the train station this place is bustling at lunch time and they provide a deal from 11:30am to 3pm on certain items. Despite bringing lunch from home i couldnt tempt away from trying their seafood pad thai. Even though i asked for extra spicy, it turned out otherwise which seriously has me wondering what the thai definition of extra spicy is. Nonetheless the food portion was generous, and even though the amount of seafood was minimal the chunks were quite large. It just tasted like a regular pad thai and wasnt anything extra ordinary. The service time was quick and it still had a hint of freshness in it when i had the leftover at dinner.
I come here often because it's close to my house. Their food are quite decent for their price setting. What I normally order are chill basil noodle and rice. Service is OK. I will definitely recommend you to try if you are around.
One of my faves! The food is always fresh and they certainly are not stingy with their meats. I struggle to finish my lunch as their is so much and best of all, the lunches are only around $10 and its super fast.

Typical Thai so the food is not out of the box, but their service is very quick and friendly. We were there when it was absolutely packed before a major concert and they had people seated, ordering, fed and out the door on time very efficiently. It a good feed when you're in a hurry. Thanks!

Dropped by at 6:30pm on a Sunday and the place was packed. We were lucky to be seated. In the first 5mins, no less than three waiters had asked to take our order - wow, great service but a bit over the top! Give us some space to breathe. :)After taking our orders, we settled in for the long wait... 30mins+. My dining partner received the wrong dish entirely, and mine took an extra 15mins to come out. We couldn't get anyone's attention to swap my partner's dish for the right one, and our drinks still hadn't arrived after more than 45mins. When drinks did arrive (after having to walk up to the counter and ask), they were the wrong ones too.
That said, my dish (chilli jam flat rice noodle w/ chicken) was absolutely delicious. Good quantity and amazing flavours.
Would love to give this restaurant another go on a weekday - I wouldn't brave the weekends again due to the terrible service though. To be fair, we asked the waiter to provide a discount on our bill due to the terrible service, and he obliged - so that was much appreciated.
Overall, would recommend for the great dishes, but beware the service when busy.
Awesome food, was working out near this location for a couple works and ate there almost every day. Massaman Curry, Yellow Curry, Pad Thai.

Oh my gosh! Yum!!!. Ok so this is my first ever urbanspoon review but I just had to because the dinner I had was SO good!
I am visiting from Adelaide and this was close to my hotel - SO glad I ordered from here.
I ordered takeaway - the thai green curry and the eggplant curry with rice. The 2 of us ate for $37 and were so full!! I definitely over ate. But anyway, the point is - best Thai food I ever had!!!! And thai food us my favourite cuisine. The Thai green curry was to die for - soooooo good!!!!!!!!!
We ordered on the phone and our was ready to pick up in 10 minutes. Great service and amazing food- please keep it up! I will be back Tuesday night with some friends :)
We are always happy with our food. We go atleast once a week. Friendly service especially from waitress Julie. She makes you feel very welcome.
Foods decent, and try finding anything better in the Asian category in Olympic park. It's not so bad price wise either.

Consistently delicious Thai food. It’s our go-to for Thai when we don’t want to travel too far.
Personal favourite is the Pad Kew Mao; they do a really nice version with that extra kick from the generous servings of whole peppercorns in the dish. Green curry is also great and the service is lovely.
Great and consistently delicious food, staff are happy to modify for plant based/vegan options. Staff always confirm your order when picking up takeaway which means no mixed upped orders. Friendly and fast service! Will keep coming back.

Food was great and moderately priced. Wait staff were extremely friendly, attentive and helpful on a Sunday night with my party of 10. We sampled the pork belly with Chinese broccoli, whole snapper, pork ribs and salmon choo chee curry from the chef's suggestions and also had the chicken mince, prawn and pineapple with glass noodle salad along with pad kee mao and tom yum fried rice. We ended the night with one of each of their desserts. Nothing disappointed, would definitely return!
Loved the service. The place has nice atmosphere. The menu has a lot of variety and are moderately price. Most mains are under 20 dollars
I did not like the prawn dish in my photos. There was nothing wrong with the prawns but my taste buds didn't like the sauce. The green curry is very good as were the bbq pork
