Review Happy World Sushi Rice - Sydney Olympic Park

Firstly, for those expensing their meals, relieved that this place takes all credit cards to cater for the corporate employees that surround it. Bit confused by the pricing in this restaurant. From what I can see, $10 bento boxes looked like a good deal. But I was in the mood for some raw fish today and went for sashimi and sushi. My box of sashimi + box sushi + salmon roll came to $24.5 which is decent for value. But $3.50 for what looks like a miniature hand roll? Is it just me or are standard takeaway sushi rolls generally considerably bigger than this? Fish did not go all the way but thatโ€™s normal - only for bigger rolls though! Anyway, it was decent but I wouldnโ€™t get the rolls again. The raw fish tastes fine/average.

funny how some reviewers expect a luxury interior or first class food. this place offers fresh food matched to the price charged. i love the food selection and reasonable price and im regular here. if you want a fancy restaurant or first class food where sashimi arrives fresh daily go and visit such place where they charge double/triple the prices. dont expect such things paying takeaway food prices.

Amazing food but the quality of the food is not very well thought of. I purchased rice with 2 fillings around 5-6 times and they always fill 3/4 of the bowl with rice and put a tiny scoop of chicken/beef.

It may not be the best or luxury restaurant for japaJapa cusiucu but it's quick and value for money. The basa fish box set is recommended and it's only $10.

The food is quite good regards to its price. It offers a range of food choices during the lunch time and they are fresh.

Good location, not a big choice of sushi/sashimi, though what we got taste good.

The sushi tasted as if it was stale. The sea weed was very chewy. Not happy about this place

Sushi rolls look full of the good stuff on the top but its mostly rice when you flip it over.
Picturesque Food
On a busy weekday where all other restaurants were packed out, we decided to try out Hapoy World Sushi and Rice. We ordered a karage chicken with rice and tempura udon. Both dishes were okay in taste. Nothing special.

Little sushi shop in Olympic Park. It can get very busy as there's not much competition around. The sushi is not bad. It might add up over $10. Otherwise the Bento boxes are more for value. Lunch for about $10 is good :)
