Funkis Koket is a special little spot in Paddington. It’s behind the clothing store, Funkis. If you arrive before the store’s opening hours, you have to enter via the rear street.

It’s a tiny little thing, but everything within is mighty. Huge, strong coffee. Delicious pastries. The Swedish vibe is strong.

Minus 1 star because there’s absolutely nothing gluten free to eat here. However I was with my mum who tried the pretzel and said it was an all-time good pretzel.

For the food wasn’t too bad but I expected more tha that. But really fall in love with their place. Very cozy place and love their natural light.

Beautiful most unique place I’ve been! Hidden behind a Swedish based clothes/homeware store, it’s truly a hidden gem. I highly recommend this place, the menu is delicious with authentic Swedish dishes! Very affordable and great service. I also had the privilege to meet the owner who was extremely welcoming and lovely! Will always come again.

Food was delicious, especially the kanelbullar. Service was very friendly and the interior and outdoor areas were so full of Swedish character. Would come back here again for sure.

Such a cute Swedish café :) It’s sooo cosy and stylish and their little backyard also is very cute. I ordered the Skagen inspired Salmon which was very delicious and my friend ordered a Selma. She’s Swedish and said that it’s super yummy and very authentic. Their clothing and interior section/shop is also very cool and they’ve got a great selection of Swedish interior bits and pieces.

This place is a hidden gem in many aspects - amazing atmosphere, delicious food with organic ingredients! I truly enjoyed my lunch and coffee. Thank you guys! A Must go place if you are around Paddington - but especially outside of it! ;)

Really enjoyed our visit to and lunch at koket. The food was delicious (a Swedish dish of smoked salmon, cucumbers, dill in a mayonnaise), as was the coffee. Staff were friendly and chatty. If you’d like the Swedish buns and scrolls best get there early in the morning.

Great little find in Paddington, hidden at the back of a cute shop. Beautiful court yard (need sunscreen as there’s not much cover), chic decor. Baked eggs were delicious, great fresh quality ingredients. Coffee was also great and all at a reasonable price.

Such a cute Swedish cafe! Never know this place was tucked away in Paddington attached to a boutique clothing store! The food however(I got the salmon bake) was a little bland(I personally prefer strong flavoured food so had to add a bunch of salt on it:P) Definitely worth a visit next time if you are in Paddington.

Very nice little gem with a Swedish influenced menu. We had a very nice break in their little garden off the back of the interior store. From the menu we went for the Swedish Skagen inspired dish. And we couldn’t resist the Swedish bun with creme called Semla. Everyone should try that, it’s such a nice Swedish bun. I would have given it 5 stars if the coffee hadn’t been so frekishly hot. Tack så mycket. Så trevligt med lite svenskt i Sydney 😀
