Review Pizza Autentico - Surry Hills - Sydney

Stephen B. Cohen
We had an excellent dinner at Pizza Autentico last Sunday night. We were made very welcome by friendly staff who were very helpful and attentive during the night. We ordered four pizzas which were traditional style and had a great variety of contrasting flavours. From the sweet La Cabretta which included walnuts and honey, to the La Tizi which featured bresaola, mushrooms and Gorgonzola which is a very strong blue cheese. The mushrooms and Gorgonzola worked really well together, creating a wow moment. We highly recommend Pizza Autentico.

Had an awesome and fun night with friends because you didn’t have to worry about what to order, the kitchen just keep cooking pizza (thin base) & pasta (when you go bottomless). They will judge how much you can eat and stop bringing out things once you slow down with the food. Good for parties.

Pizza Autentico is an engaging concept, with high quality, delicious Italian fare that makes this a great night out whether you’re on your own, a couple, or group.Amazing value too! Skip lunch and head down any night of the week! Definitely try the tiramisu... Just like Nonna makes! A big thanks to the Pizza Autentico team for hosting us.

This is actually a pretty funky place; cool concept! My tips before coming is to arrive with an empty stomach. The pizzas are thin crust and the pastas are super creamy; so to get the most value and the best pizzas try to avoid the pastas and make sure to ask the waiters/waitresses for what pizzas are available. They will bring pizzas out depending on what is being made but you do have the choice to ask from their 20 something choices of pizzas. I have attached a few photos which show just how happy everyone is with the mealie had :)

What a fantastic lunch at this gem of place. I've been before before and always enjoyed. This time we had a good size group of friends, all seeking a fun lunch outing. For many this was their first visit. The planning and lead-up could not have been simpler (thanks Jonny). The suggested shared menu selection accommodated for all and very yum! Jonny and team very attentive, no-one left hungry, and all friends were overwhelmingly impressed. And, the Elderflower Gin Spritz was certainly a favourite!

I Visited Pizza Autentico with my wife for dinner. Restaurant has a stop/go system with different pizza and pasta being offered to you all you can eat for a set price (drinks and desserts extra). Both the pizzas and the pasta were reasonable in quality but for the price of $25 per person you can't really complain. Of the two the pasta was the best with all the sauces being delicious, however I don't believe the pasta was made fresh in house (I could be wrong but it was definitely cooked well). The pizza was a little thin for my taste and as such the crust a few times got a little too black and developed a burnt taste (toppings always tasty). The seating is communal with everyone seated around a single table (approximately room for 26 people). All and all a good place for dinner with friends and family for a good priced casual meal but maybe not a great place for a romantic first date. I would visit again.

I love the concept of this place - $25 for 90 minutes of endless flows of pizza and pasta. Servers come around continuously, handing out slices of pizza and small servings of pasta to everyone sitting at the large table. The mass amounts of food doesn't mean a drop of quality though - their pizzas and pastas are delicious! The pizza bases are crunchy and tasty, the toppings are amazing, and the pasta are all cooked to al dente. I HIGHLY recommend their four cheese gnocchi and four cheese pizza. Make room for these when they come around! It's a great place to catch up with mates with over some really food. We will definitely be heading back here again soon!
Losing Our Way
The service is fantastic and the staff had always a smile! The pizzas are ok, but unfortunately the hard surfaces are leading to noisier restaurants and Pizza Autentico is a perfect example. It's a great place designed for groups, but it was really hard to have a simple conversation. We've read that elevated noise levels reduce our ability to detect saltiness and sweetness while enhancing bitterness! We're sure that the dining experience would be much better if they instal acoustic panelling and maintain the bathrooms clean.

If you have the same problem like me, that one pizza is never enough.. Go to this place and try at least 1 piece of every pizza.. I failed half way through! And it's soo good... Hidden gem of Sydney's pizza scene! As authentic as this place is tho, be ready for some proper banter as the manager there is a English lad with a good sense of humour. Also my girlfriend eats there quite frequently and still didn't get fat so that's a plus..

One of the best pizza restaurants I have been to!! The amazing quality of the pizza was only surpassed by the friendly staff and excellent service. Would definitely recommend

Jonny and co have created a beautiful Italian experience in the middle of the city. This vibrant, friendly, cosy little restaurant is our local...delicious pizza and pasta ( the 4 cheese gnocchi is just the best!), a wine list that matches the food perfectly and their in house negroni is real treat! Best to book but if you get there early enough, they will always try and squeeze you in. A dining experience not to missed and one that we enjoy with family and friends often!

Not only is this one of the best pizza joints I’ve ever eaten in (and I’m from New York I might add) but the the service is absolutely second to none. What an absolute hidden gem and I cannot wait to go back for more!

What a great place this is! Great food great service great concept. A must visit restaurant for anyone in Sydney.

Excellent experience! Had a lot of fun here, the host and wait staff were very accommodating to our large group and helped make the night very enjoyable. The food was amazing and there was plenty of it, can’t recommend the all you can eat style enough. Great way to start the night out!

I’ve been many times with a bunch of friends, the staff are always lovely and accomodating towards us, and to everyone else there. The quality of the food has been outstanding every time, and very affordable. Would highly recommend and will continue to go back.

Some of the best pizza I’ve ever had. It’s a great concept of getting different slices to sample as well.
Matt McCormick
Absolutely fantastic atmosphere! The owners, waiters, chefs made my group of friends feel incredibly welcome, and appreciated. The service was friendly, attentive, and provided with no such delay on bringing out food. I cannot rate this place highly enough for any special occasion, as the entire crew at Pizza Authentico will genuinely make it feel like an incredibly special experience. Cheers guys!
Matt Selby
Unbelievable food, fantastic service from all the staff! I would highly recommend Pizza Autentico, I can't wait to go back! Keep up the great work guys.

Went here for dinner last night - will definitely be back! The staff were so so so accommodating! And the food was delicious! Was full at the end and turned away a few dishes (because I was full- they looked yum!) great concept, will definitely be back.
Matthew Boyd
Both the food and the service are consistently high quality and the all-you-can-eat menu option makes the experience very affordable; will be back whenever I’m in surry hills!
Iain Sandler
Awesome service and great food, table of rude arseheads next to us were the only down point of the night, just goes to prove that you can’t polish turds! Great work pizza authentico!
Richard Poll
A really nice, refreshing approach to serving pizza and pasta. Great food, friendly service, this place is a little gem.
Marianna Tuccia
I was a bit sceptical about ‘all you can eat pizza and pasta for $25’ but I was proved wrong. It’s fun and the food is actually good. The pasta is cooked al dente and the pizza bases are thin and crispy. I thought there were plenty of choices and it’s the perfect for a cheap night out. #pizzaautentico

Had the chance to dine here recently and it was alright. After reading the reviews I was a bit skeptical but the experience was ok. We had the $25pp all you can eat which is pretty well priced. They offer pizza and pasta at random but can accomodate for any dietary needs. My favourite pasta was the penne and the cheese gnocchi - we also got bolognese which I found to be subpar and we received this other kind of gnocchi which had beef in it and none of us were big fans of that one. As for pizzas, I didn't really have a favourite as I found them all to be average. The toppings were not scarce, despite reviews saying they were. I wasn't a fan of the pepperoni pizza - it just tasted too salty for my liking. There was a cheese and eggplant pizza which I gave a miss to as well. The vegetarian pizzas were pretty good though. My only criticism for the pizzas was that most, if not all, were burnt around the edges which left an unpleasant taste in my mouth. Lastly the service was average as well, it wasn't great but it wasn't exactly terrible either. I would recommend coming in a larger group and having the experience upstairs, as opposed to eating downstairs with some strangers. Would I come here again? Probably not, I'm happy to have experienced it once.

Terrible experience!!!!! Went for a friends birthday party of 34. Had to pay 35 bucks for extra entre. What a rip off. First of all I recommended this place to my friends. Embarrassing.... Unlimited pizza they say. Had 6 pizzas. 2 with limited meat and 2 pasta dishes. Everything else cheese or vegetarian. We literally got ripped off. We gave them business and made them easy 1k on the night and they gave us Cole's out of the box dishes. I've been here before and ate downstairs with a mate it was amazing. We had chicken, seafood, salad, pasta dishes that was actually good, and on the night we had nothing. No chicken, no beef, no seafood, nothing. Like why bother doing a group set menu when you can't do it and deliver? No accountability whatsoever.... Never again and warning my fellow zomato peeps. Don't book a group setting. Just go there with a friend.

Went here with bunch of freinds and we all really enjoyed it. This is a special type of Italian place where they bring bunch of pastas and pizza to your table to eat for 90 min all you van eat. The server was friendly and explained patiently all the dishes which they kept bringing in from the kitchen. Will surely visit again.
Josie
$25 all you can eat pizza and pasta! The way this cute joint works is that servers walk around the table with pizza and pasta with time in between. The way the table is set up feels like one massive family dinner (even though everyones a stranger!) highly worth a visit
Stacey Amber
I don't review much but thoroughly enjoyed my experience here! Amazing food and awesome concept. I recommend everyone to come and try this place out I'd your a lover of Italian food. So cool because you can try abit of everything. Too bad I live in NZ!

We were in Sydney for the weekend and found Pizza Authentico as it was close to our accommodation. Hadn't been to an Italian restaurant with this concept before and loved it. Great pizzas, more like the traditional Italian style we've had in Italy, with delicious toppings. The pastas were fresh with yummy sauces, the four fromaggio gnocchi was so creamy! The food kept coming and all served by friendly helpful staff. Will definitely come back next time we are in Sydney.

2 stars because it is worth trying but personally I'm not sure if I would go again. There are already a lot of mixed reviews so you'll have to try for yourself.

I'm pretty happy with paying $25 and we got a satisfying amount of food. I think between 7 people we got around 9 pizzas and 8 pasta dishes. I do recommend booking because if you have a group greater than 6 it's better to sit upstairs not in the communal area.

The food came so fast at the beginning. I forgot to take pictures of all the dishes towards the end because it wasn't as exciting.

The pizzas were decent but nothing too exciting. I think they were lacking in meat though, most of them just had veggies. I can't really say the pasta was good though, most of them just tasted salty, this is weird for me because normally I love pasta. We had this creamy one with mushrooms and the sauce was way too runny, one with four cheese which no one touched because we were sick of that flavour and one with tomato sauce but it tasted salty. I think the best one was with eggplant. They served us way too many 4 cheese dishes (we got a 4 cheese pizza and another one with blue cheese and potato which was really weird), which destroys your appetite. I guess thats what they have to do in an all you can eat situation.

Overall if you're looking for really good Italian food don't come here, but if you want to experience all you can eat pizza/pasta then come here.
Ritika Arora
Loved the cheesy pizzas. Great food and great service. Well cooked pizzas with a good crust. A good place for some good italian food. In desserts, Tiramisu is my all time favorite.
Jessie Wu
Had the $35 per person feasting menu and while there was a lot of food, it was rather disappointing. Most of the dishes were bland and the pasta was also too soft and overcooked.

I have been wanting to try this place for sooooo long. I told all my friends about it and my friends were also so excited. My friend decided to host a graduation dinner here for 25 people and let me tell you, this place was not prepared. The problems are as follows;
1. The booking had been made weeks in advance so they received plenty of notice...yet we had only one waiter to serve 25 people.
2. The waiter didn’t take a drinks order for the table so people had to get up from their seats to find him and have the order taken. Eventually the waiter got annoyed with everyone asking for drinks. Not on.
3. The food came out late. We were given a two hour time limit for the all you can eat package which is fine but make sure you deliver the food in adequate timing. The waiter almost refused to give us dessert as it was “past 8pm” and we only just received the last course of pizza. We made sure we had the dessert but when the waiter brought it out he almost threw it onto the table.
4. The attitude of the waiter just sucked in general. Seriously, if you don’t like your job THAT much. Leave. Don’t ruin our experience. My friends and I work hard for our money and to hand that hard earned money over to someone with an attitude like that made us feel terrible.

The only saving grace for this restaurant was the gnocchi. Other than that, don’t waste your time or your money, far better places in Sydney for Italian food.
Maria Liuzzi-Scalpelli
Great concept. Friendly staff. Great pizza with loads of variety. Pasta was good too but would have liked it more if it were homemade. The Sicilian sangria was absolutely delicious! Great flavours! My only criticism was of the espresso at the end... if you have a great Italian meal, you always need to end it with a great Italian coffee. You should invest in some nice espresso cups and better coffee. Also... tiramisù was great but the added cream was not necessary. Overall a Great experience! Well done!

Great concept that is sure to win over a lot of people, $20 all you can eat Pasta and Pizza is like a dream come true for some. The catch ?, you don’t choose what come out and basically are at the mercy of a rotation system. But for me that’s brilliant as it forces you try new flavors you normally wouldn’t
A
Good service 4/5
Pizza was quite nice 4/5
Every pasta we had was so salty! The flavour otherwise was tasty, but the pasta itself tasted like it was boiled in a pot full of salt.... 2/5
Worth a try.... wouldn’t go back though.
To give you a sense of my obsession, I came here on a Friday night from a friend's recommendation, and immediately came back the Friday night after.
Situated in an alley that is slightly off the main road, this place is quite unassuming on the outside. However, once you step in, you can't help but feel the animated and bustling atmosphere, with people enjoying their meals around a large, communal table, even if it was just 30 minutes before its kitchen closes. The best part, of course, was the $25 all you can eat deal. Maybe it's just me, but I have never had pizza & pasta served in this Brazilian steakhouse manner - what a brilliant idea. Everything should be served this way. The servers came out with different pizzas and pasta every 2-3 minutes, and we got to try so many flavors, including:
Pizzas (thin crust, bless):
1. Zucchini & Cherry Tomato: 4/5. The zucchini gave the pizza a refreshing touch
2. Spinach & Ricotta: 5/5. My favorite - the spinach was really flavorful and complimented the dough
2. Eggplant: 3/5. The pizza had a strong eggplant flavor but unfortunately I'm not a huge eggplant fan
Pasta:
1. Formaggio gnocchi: 3/5. Too cheesy in my opinion
2. Mushroom farfalle: 3/5. I normally don't like farfalle, and I thought the cheese really overpowered the mushrooms
3. Pesto linguine: 4.5/5. My favorite pasta, it was a little greasy but really tasty
As I am a pescatarian, I wasn't able to try all the flavors, which really is a blessing in disguise in this situation. i would say pace yourself so you can get at least a second serving of your favorite ones! The server was also really attentive and remembered all our dietary restrictions, and paid special attention to us when serving vegetarian options.
Overall warm and fun ambiance, great service, satisfying food, at a really affordable price.

It was a chilly Friday night when we arrived to try this word of mouth restaurant. We were seated and given water and a drinks list. After letting them know we don’t eat meat they take our drinks order and the food begins to come out. A disc on the table alerts servers as to wether you are hungry, want to slow down or are finished. Pizzas are on my favourite base - thin and crisp- have never enjoyed the soggy style. We enjoyed a zucchini and potato, Margherita, eggplant, and ricotta and pesto .. the pastas were also amazing. There was a gnocchi with cheese sauce, mushroom and spirals, linguine with pesto and more... so full! There is cheese as well as dried chilli on the table. It is only one communal table which keeps the night lively and fun. The Prosecco was so good that I had a couple of glasses. Friendly service and a set price.
Locals Journal
The group booking price wasn't the advertised $25pp for our group and after the gratuity was added - we paid $40.43pp. ($130 gratuity was added to our bill)

The waitress was doing her absolute best but appeared stressed catering to a large group solo. I understand that Surry Hills is a busy area, still this is my first experience being so abruptly rushed out of a reserved space.

-Lot's of vegetarian options which was great!
-No GF pasta
-Pasta serving sizes were very small
-Two pizzas were placed at each table of 6-8 people
-Pizza crust and sauce is nice
-Can't order drinks at the bar
-Staff assured we had enough to eat
Katie Dav
The downstairs space is a large communal space that would be great for a group party. The pizza choices are great and the slices just keep coming from the kitchen. The pizza is a little cheese heavy and my biggest complaint is that the nutella pizza isn't included in the price.
The Next Rush
Seated at a communal table, you're served by the owner himself. You're given a color coded hockey puck that you turn over (Green for Yes, Red for No) as the random selection from their menu begins swirling around the table. The pace is good, it doesn't feel rushed, the menu offered doesn't seem watered down and you're given a good selection and sometimes, seconds as they distribute their random curation of the night. It's great fun! Full of surprises as Lisa comes out from the kitchen.

I like a bit of fire, particular from the Southern region of Italy, so the ARRABIATA PENNE was the perfect opener to warm up the pallette. A sauce of garlic, tomato and red chilli – loved everything about this! In between our pasta dishes, they weaved in their HAM & PEA, MARGHERITA, FOUR CHEESE, MUSHROOM pizzas. The crispiness in the bases stood out here. Such simple ingredients to make the dough but that precision in your base takes a lot of care and technique long before you have come in and ordered your pizza! Thanks Chef!

The SPICY SAUSAGE & PEPPERS and the ROCKET & PROSCUITTO were my favorites for the evening, nice balance between toppuing and base and really good quality cheese. In terms of pasta, the FOUR CHEESE GNOCCHI came a close second to my dish of the night, it's impossible for things to go wrong here as the soft clouds of pasta bathe in a gooey fusion of cheese! I had to have seconds!

People I know who have been hear say, that even though they are stuffed from the great feast you get here, they insist on making room for dessert and you know what they are spot on! The TIRAMISU pushes all the buttons from the elements you know expect in a creamy mascarpone, chocolate dusted masterpiece – however, the extra moistening in Espresso dunking they've down through this is impeccable and a perfect showstopper to close the Pizza Autentico food story.

Thanks so much for having me in, cute little ambience, versatile space which I can picture using in so many ways (casual dining, group functions) and service that is personal!
Foodie Mike
This place was pretty bad when I went with my friends. Pizzas and pasta were really delayed, hardly got any value out of it. Pizza and pasta were very average and service was terrible. Don't expect to go here to receive a decent serving.
Nicole Dai
My friend had her birthday dinner here and I personally think it's not worth the $25 per person for the all you can eat menu. The quality of the pizzas were quite average and had inexpensive toppings that were unevenly distributed (we were served 6 types of pizzas between 20 people - mushroom and cheese, Margherita, zucchini and potato, pepperoni, sausage and rocket, and a pizza with preserved vegetable and cheese), and the portion of the four pasta dishes were quite small and there wasn't enough to go around. I enjoyed one of the eggplant pastas which I asked the staff whether we could request it again, but they dismissed my request because they were 'too busy' - understandable. It seemed like there was a set menu and we could not order anymore, and was given a certain period of time to eat and leave. I did not enjoy the food or the experience there. I was left quite disappointed because I had higher expectations for a restaurant with such good ratings. Probably would have been better for small gatherings than a large group.
Foodie_Besh
$25 dollars 90 minutes, eat as much as you can! Need I have to say more, naaah I don't think so. The pasta dishes and the pizza dishes were all top notch with excellent taste. The drinks were really good as well, and again students like me always search for places with happy hours and this place has one 😁. Though I would suggest anyone visiting this place to book beforehand because it can be crowded and you might have to wait for a long time.
HANGRYHUNGRY
Celebrated my birthday here. Was honestly disappointed in their service. We made a booking for about 15 people + and because they were all running late, the workers refused to start giving out food until everyone arrived. They also had a very negative attitude towards us and was doubtful that eventually, everyone would arrive. Quite inflexible to be honest.

It used to be $20 all you can eat pizza and pasta. The price has increased, but to be honest, their pasta portions are equivalent to a side dish that you get in korean bbq. Their pizza is alright, very little toppings on them and very basic pizza’s. Heard good things about this place, but was very disappointed unfortunately.
Hayley
We got here for a booking at 8, and the place was relatively empty.
It kind of works like Brazilian barbecue actually, the servers go around and ask if you'd like a slice of pizza or a scoop of pasta.
They come out with different kinds of pizza, though not as much of their pastas. The pizza is thin crust, and cheesy. They don't fill you up too quickly. My favourite is the pepperoni pizza. Their gnocchi in white sauce is also very delicious.
I was pleasantly satisfied after the meal, and we wish to come again.

Definitely worth the price.
Joseph Tran
Even though the food was overall great with $25 all you can eat. EVERYONE must come to the venue otherwise they wont serve you the dishes that you want to order. I find it rather absurd, because it was booked for around 15 people and they are just running late to the venue, HOWEVER THEY WILL NOT START BRINGING OUT THE MEALS UNTIL EVERYONE HAS BEEN SEATED. But even with half the people that arrived that were 45 mins late, we had to ask the person who was serving us to please just start with the meals. And so they did. Then with everyone arriving, there was such little time left for the late comers to enjoy their meal. I know they are just worried that we would have booked around 15 people and having only 3-4 people showing up in the beginning, but it was only smarter if all the meals are brought out before the all the designated customers that would be arriving late to the venue, so they can enjoy what they have missed out on eating.

Overall, the pizzas and pastas was amazing. Its just the service that was a let down.
Christine Liu
good service. it tastes like Coles Woolworth frozen pizza and pasta. very disappointed and a Waste of carb meal.the pasta has almost no taste.
Lien Nguyen
Absolutely enjoyed pizza authentico! Tucked away behind the busier streets, it can be a bit tricky to find but once you do - you would have discovered a great gem! The restaurant is laid out with one big communal table so it really does feel like a feast. Pizzas and pastas are brought out fresh from the kitchen and offered to you. There was endless options, with plenty of vegetarian options aswell. The pizzas and pastas were all delicious and I can’t really pick a fav. Such bang for your buck - will definitely be visiting again in the future. I’ve already started recommending it to friends and family.

I went there with a few friends to try this innovative concept. There is this massive centre table where all the guests are seated and the food keeps rolling out.
The food was delicious and was all we could eat. I particularly liked the gnocchi. They had an interesting selection of pastas and pizzas on that day and was totally worth the money. My only reason of not giving this a full-5 is that the food was being rolled out really slowly at times which made us wait for a long time while we were hungry. Not sure if that is something that is regular or was it just that day.
Ieatthings
Really loved this concept! $25 for all you can eat pizza and pasta. Different pizzas and pastas will be brought to your table one at a time, which you may either choose to grab a bit of or pass on.

If you’re full, or need to slow down, the cylinder block (best way I can describe it) has a yellow, green, and red side which you may flip on either side to let the staff know.

The pizza and pasta quality was excellent, although I wouldn’t say it’s the best I’ve ever had. I think the compromise would be the cheap price as well as the large variety. The waiters who served us was were all extremely lovely as well, which only improved the experience we had. I’d definitely come back!

Great place to visit if you have bottomless belly for all you can eat pizza and pasta for $25 in 90 minutes given time.
I am not joking when i said that, those savory pizza and pasta is keep coming and the funny thing is waitress that served us giving us an a funny looks when we said no to the pizza.
So many different topping and ingredients, we dine for just under 60’ and gave up. During our dinner time, there is no repeated pizza with the same topping or pasta with the same sauce that came twice to our table ( well, basically it’s a communal table ).
And we ordered also tiramisu which cost $8 extra.
Some of pasta is lack seasoning and dry, but overall food was great and awesome!
Even after we paid the bill, there was braciola, mascarpone, rocket and truffle oil pizza topping, that smells so good, the same waitress who served us said, “last piece before you hit the road?” 😁
Hahaha..

Isha and I are absolutely obsessed with Italian food, the bold flavours and the passion with which it is cooked is captivating. The only drawback to eating it at a restaurant is narrowing down exactly what you want to eat!. Fortunately, this problem was solved when were invited to Pizza Autentico by Ompty Media. Matty, the manager, greeted us at the front door and seated us on a long concrete island bench where he explained the elegant concept of the restaurant. For $25 per person, you can gorge yourself on as much Italian food as you want over 90 minutes. The food is circled around and you can indicate whether you want more using a neat little token which has the italian tricolours, green for more, white for pause and red for you are stuffed.
Famishedduo
All you can eat pizza 🍕🍕and pasta🍝🍝 for $25! 😍😍 Pizza Autentico has a huge variety of pizzas and pasta for your hearts content!
As soon as we were seating at the long communal table, we felt right at home.
The pizza & pasta came out one after the other and created a perfect transition from one pizza to the next. The fabulous thin crispy base and crust gives you more tummy room which you’ll definitely need because there is SO MANY flavours of pizza and pastas to try from! Not forgetting the salad selection. We had the burrata which was refreshing and creamy.
Eunifoodie
I really like the concept and but it’s not that worth it. The pizzas aren’t amazing - they skimp out a lot on the toppings, serving pizzas with inexpensive toppings first before serving the ones with meats on it when we were pretty full from the cheap topping ones. The pasta is pretty bland so I always had a lot of extra chilli flakes and pepper.
Alexandra | Lalan_eats
Definitely a great deal with $25 for 90mins! They bring out quite a good range of food and pretty frequently too. The shared table idea is great and maybe they should introduce some aspect of it where everyone has to interact with eachother more.

The little circle which has two sides (red & green) are to stop or go with the food, if you turn it on it’s side it means you are slowing down! But do not fear the lovely waitress will still offer you all the food if you’re going slow!

I would describe the food as homemade (something you'd eat at home) for some people this may be amazing to have a home cooked meal served to you without the work, for others they might expect something a bit more special. But for all you can eat the food goes pretty good. You will definitely get full off of all that pizza and pasta! Order the 'Buratta Salad' it was my favourite dish of the night!!!

Thanks to the boys @ompty.media for the invite :)
Food Queens Of Sydney
This was an incredible experience!
The cute restaurant is tucked away in the back streets of Surry Hills.
The service was extremely friendly and the vibe was elegant and relaxed.
We were shocked at all the food offered to us in the all you can eat style, for only $25! The quality of the food was just delicious.
Highly recommend this fun night out!
Elle Fitzpatrick
Such a great experience! Really different from the usual dining experience because of the unique concept used. Plenty of pizza and pasta came around that we had to slow it down at the end. Nice food, friendly service and very good value for money
John
It could be good for others but not for our family. I won’t come back again. Pizza needs to have more topping with meat. It’s too creamy.
Pasta has no meat at all. Just been mixed with a canned sauce.
They never change plate or bowel so your plate get messy and mixed up with all other sauces.
Pinicolada
The majority of the dishes have either one topping or no topping (ie Margherita, or a cream based pasta with mushrooms stirred through). I complained to the waiter that we would like some meat based pizzas and that’s when the proper pizzas came out.
Lollieats
Oh how I loved this place. Amazing concept, $25 all you can eat but it comes fresh and oh so tasty. One of the best Pizzas I have tasted and the variety was mind blowing. The pastas were delicious too. Treat yourself to the Tiramisu as it was well worth it .
The Naked Food Addict
Had such a great experience at pizza autenico!! From the outstanding service to the scrumptious ALL YOU CAN EAT pizza & pasta and the fantastic atmosphere, I can definitely say I would recommend them! I went for an invite last night thanks to ompty and I absolutely loved it! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by Jonny (the owner) and he was so lovely! We were seated, offered drinks, and he recommended the burratta salad which had creamy burratta with tomato, basil, olive oil and balsamic. Like I always say.... "I don't make friends with salad" ... BUT i'm pretty sure this salad became my new all time favourite. The burratta cheese was BEAUTIFUL! So creamy and perfect!!

We got to try so many different pizza's and pastas! They were all great- so fresh and full of flavour! My personal favourites were the "pepperoni pizza" (tomato sauce, mozzarella fiordilatte and spicy salami), the "Quattro stagioni" pizza (tomato sauce, mozzarella, fiordilatte, prosciutto, artichokes, mushrooms and olives), "the fiessese" (tomato sauce, mozzarella fiordilatte, italian sausage, mascarpone, rocket and truffle oil), the "farfalle alla montanara" (funghi trifolati in a creamy sauce- MY ABSOLUTE FAV DISH OF THE NIGHT), and the "gnocchi formaggiosi" (creamy sauce with gorgonzola, parmesan and pecorino).

If that list alone was just my "personal favourites" you can only imagine how many we actually got to try!! It was insane!! So flipping good!! Jonny was onto everyones drinks... no one had to wait for drinks to be refilled. It was great.

The concept of this restaurant is brilliant! When you walk in, it is one big group table and you all sit around it, and you have tokens that have a green side for "go" so you are signalling you want MORE food, a red side for "stop" signalling you are done and then if you flip the token on it's side, it means "slow down".

It is definitely safe to say that I definitely will be returning, and I would recommend it in a hearbeat! :)

Amazing price, quantity and service! If you would like to try more kinds of pizza, try not to make a reservation but instead sit at the table downstairs. Otherwise they bring pizzas and pasta that you might not like and cannot finish.

My favourites were the zucchini and potato pizza, eggplant and ricotta orecchiette and the 4 cheese gnocchi. The pizzas are a nice thin crust as always fresh from the oven. However most of the edges are burnt but seeing as it's all you can eat, you can just wait for a fresh slice to come around! The staff were very nice and accommodating. Will definitely return!

I always leave this place eating much more than I should, and yet i do it anyways. This place offers 90 minutes of unlimited pizza and pasta which they bring out every couple of minutes, all for a price of $20. Food is always great and atmosphere is nice too,
great if you really wanna stuff yourself with italian food
Frankiieshungrytummy
Got invited by ompty media to try this little place out.
Located in a little alley in Surry Hills, it's tucked away from the busyness of the city life.
When you walk in, the atmosphere is warm and you share a one large table with strangers who have also come to enjoy the all you can eat pizza for 20 bucks.
Yep, that's right - 20 bucks!
You're given a token which is conveniently the colours of the Italian flag in which you flip depending on how you're feeling in terms of hunger.
Green for go, give me more!, white for pause and red for stop, I'm full.
Loving the concept of this as pizza hut all you can eat used to be my absolute fave before they shut almost all of them down.
This is a great way to try all of the different things on the menu. They also have an awesome cocktail menu!
Pizza and pasta galore, who wouldn't love this place?!
But wait, don't forget to save room for dessert as the tiramisu is to die for.

Went there for our anniversary and expect everything to be just right. But then we met the worst waiter ever. Rude and disrespectful. The food was alright but the awful service made us never revisit again.
Love At First Bite
Pizza Autentico is an Italian restaurant located in Surry Hills that is famous for their $20 Italian buffet. The premise is simple, diners sit at a communal table while a waiter will circulate the room with one dish at a time. For 90 minutes, you can join unlimited pizza and pasta from a range of 30+ pizzas and 10+ pastas and you can also order from an extensive range of drinks, salads and desserts from the menu. We love a good all you can eat so when we heard about this we decided to check it out for a casual Friday night dinner, entering with hungry bellies ready to be filled!

Cheap quality cheese and cheep quality pizza which tastes very bad. Never go here... 😡. I felt so bad that that I got sick after eating there. Never recommend to anyone. Go to a proper Italian pizza 🍕 shop not this jugaad shop which sells pizza in the name of Italian.
Weekendfoodescapes
Pizza Autentico is a popular venue for a reasonably priced dinner with a lot of variety! For $20 within 90 minutes, you can eat to your heart's content on pizza and pasta. Matt and I walk in the cold winter weather in hunger and seek warm refuge within Pizza Autentico. It's so lovely and cosy inside. FOR FULL photos and review, go to the blog post
Does My Bomb Look Big In This
We’re seated around a long communal table that’s lit down the centre. The bulk of our dining companions are aged between twenty-five and thirty-five, and from the conversation, many are post-grads in entry-level positions in accountancy firms. Even if you choose not to talk to anyone else, eating at Pizza Autentico feels convivial on a cold, wintery Tuesday night. Over a floral Monte-Mule ($16.50) with Montenegro Liqueur balanced by ginger ale and lime, and a cut-price Aperol Spritz ($10), we celebrate happy hour by drinking in snippets of conversation. Our host, Jonny Allen, flips our tokens to green and we’re hit by wave after wave of thin-crust pizzas. There's pepperoni, mushroom, four cheeses and spicy sausage, followed by a more unusual spinach and Parmigiano-Reggiano. The pizzas are interspersed with...

In Short: Pizza Autentico is an engaging concept, with high quality, delicious Italian fare that makes this a great night out whether you’re on your own, a couple, or group. Skip lunch and head down any night of the week!. Thanks to the Pizza Autentico team for hosting us!

You know you’re going to be off to a great start, when the first thing you’re told is ‘…don’t worry about a thing, we’ve got tonight’s selection sorted…’! Now, as food bloggers you can get used to this whole leave-it-up-to-the-restaurant-to-share-their-favourites, but at Pizza Autentico in Surry Hills, this is their whole philosophy! So, if you are a foodie FOMO like me, you won’t be missing out here.

I love the concept of this place! The atmosphere is cozy, warm and friendly - just like the staff! They were extremely accomodating and for that I thank you. I was unsure about how it works as it isn't as clear on the website but essentially you sit at a large communal table, and the waiters bring around bowls of pasta and plates of pizza and ask if you want some. Truly brilliant. The food is delicious - just simple classic pizzas and pastas. I loved the 'Eggplant Pasta', 'Four Cheese Gnocchi', 'Four Cheese Pizza', and 'Ricotta and Spinach' - but pretty much everything. I left feeling 10x heavier than going in! Will definitely return.
Ann
It was very lovely! The waiting team was awesome, the food was great, price reasonable! All the pizzas were thin N crispy which i loved the most! Lots of cheese, full of flavor! 90minutes for all you can eat, make sure you try as much as you can! Absolutely a pizza feast!

I was invited to check out this place in Surry Hills, they have 2 sittings 6pm or 8pm and there is a big communal type table downstairs and some more big tables upstairs. Brazilian type churrasco style dining with the tokens given to diners to start, pause and stop the food coming. You don’t need to order the food just keeps coming, pizza and pasta galore! Even though the table is big and communal, the table is so big it’s not like you are dining WITH everyone. Perfect for families, or a group of friends. The food is great quality and plenty of it, for $20 you can’t really go wrong. I would recommend ordering the amazing burrata salad, this was out favourite and perfect to refresh in-between carbs.

Service was friendly, food was great! The only thing that would've made our night better was if the pizza and pasta came out faster and if there was more of a pasta variety! Other than that, it was lovely! I also love how left over pizza were all saved to feed to homeless.
@burgersnbikinis
ALL YOU CAN EAT PASTA AND PIZZA!!!!! $20 for 90 minutes, I literally don't know how this place is real or how I've never been before in the 3 years it's been open. There's nothing like it in Sydney! You have to go now! Run!

Pizza Autentico is an unreal concept. There's one big communal table, you take a seat, you've got a token that you flip to green for food, white for pause and red for omg I'm going into a food coma please no more.

My friend and I were invited to try it out last night and what a wonderful night we had! Host Jonny looked after us, and the vibe is so cool sharing pizza and pasta with strangers!

Literally the next hour and a half saw a constant flow of pizza and pasta..

My favourites were the potato and zucchini pizza, the mushroom bow tie pasta and the most amazing four cheese gnocchi you will actually try and steal the bowl. In between those was a steady flow of Margherita, ham and cheese, spinach and ricotta, pepperoni, pesto linguine and so much more. In the end we had to get selective with our choices because stomach space was running out!

Buuuuut please make sure you save room for dessert! Because the most sumptuous tiramisu comes out! I'm honestly not much of a tiramisu fan, but this one changed my mind!

Love the cosy communal vibe here, the staff and so friendly, the food is amazing and what a bargain night out! There's also a great cocktail and wine list to keep you going, the peach bellinis were on point.

Thanks to the guys at Ompty for the invite, and to Jonny and staff for making sure we left with big food babies! Mission accomplished!

Unlimited pizza and pasta for 2 hours for $20!! Yes you have read that right. If your looking for a carb fix that is the place to go. This restaurant is not like your standard restaurant, it involves communal dinning where everyone sits on one large table and the waiters and waitresses come around and ask you if you would like a piece of pizza or a bowl of pasta.

This type of method allows you to not only engage in conversation with different people but also allows you to try different types of pizza rather than having a selection of just one or two. The service was very friendly and happy to explain what is on every pizza and in every pasta before you make a selection.

Its great value too and they have a group booking option for everyone who wants to have a party and a good time.
Eatventures
Pizza Autentico do an all-you-can-eat pizza night for $20! When I first found out about that, I was suspicious. Surely they had to cut some corners…. Once we tried their food and saw how it all worked though, it started to make sense. There definitely weren’t any corners cut, the Autentico boys were just smart.
Helen & Michelle
We went to Pizza Autentico in celebration of a friend's birthday and we pleased with the overall dining experience. Paying $20 per person for a pizza, pasta buffet, it was quite worth its price as there was a great selection to choose from. Whilst the pizza was mediocre and simple, we appreciated the proportions and we quite enjoyed the pastas. We recommend you to go here with definitely a group of people and share all as it will be incredibly filling!
Ester Escolar
We were there for the 20$ all you can eat.Pizzas were tasty and fast service.Pasta they only brought us three kinds in 1 hour and a half. They should bring more pasta. Staff were attentive.I think it would be better instead of having a big table for a lot of people to have small tables so it's more personal.
Peter Osman
The pizza and pasta buffet was so sick! All you can eat pasta in 90mins. Tbh I was so hungry I scoffed everything down in 30mins and I was done.

The food is good, real good!
More Than Nourishment
Really love the concept of this place.. all you can eat pasta and pizza in 90 minutes while sitting at a long communal table. They give you a token with three different colors, green for go (give me more food), white for pause and red for stop. They bring out different pizzas and pasta during the night and offer you a slice (or even two) and small portions of pasta. It was a great way to try a range of dishes without having to commit to buying a whole pizza or pasta. The food had basic flavours but was exactly what I remember it being like when having it in Rome. The pizza bases were thin and crisp while the pasta was piping hot. Everything was freshly made. Such great value for $20. I was in a carb coma by the time we left. Disappointed that I couldn't fit in the tiramisu but it gives me a reason to come back another time. Definitely worth a try!
THE TRAVELLER COUPLE
UNLIMITED Pizza & Pasta for $20..... say wooooot?!?! yep..... hehehe.... this is what's great about Pizza Autentico..... Sydney is getting more and more pricey in food price but Jonny (the owner) of Pizza Autentico will turn your world of pizza & pasta upside down.... :) His restaurant is unique as the soonest you arrive, he will greet you personally and you will find yourself eating on a rectangular communal table where you will feel like eating with your whole big family....

All sort of Pizza & Pasta will keep on coming from the kitchen and you can just eat whatever you want... hahaha... how awesome! :D
If you're like me, the token on your table that looks like an Italian flag will always showing the GREEN side.... LOL.... eat til your stomach says enough, then turn your token upside down til it shows RED colour...... or if you're not certain and just needed a break or a breather before trying out his amazing Tiramisu as a dessert, turn the Token to stand and showing all three colours..... :)

We don't have a favourite dish here as all pizza & pasta are just amazing.... but we love the Tiramisu as it goes straight to the heart.... hehe... :)
Emily
We had an absolutely amazing time here! Jonny was incredibly helpful and arranged for our group to sit upstairs. The food was delicious, more pizza than pasta but every dish was amazing and carefully prepared. Everyone was really impressed with the quality and service, we will definitely be back!
My Bondi Summer
Stop the 'hangries' at @pizzaautentico 👍🏻 With unlimited pizza and pasta.. You'll want for nothing after!🍴🍕🍝🍷Jonny the owner is lovely too, he'll beg you to try his tiramisu👌🏻Only $20 for all you can eat, just a short stroll down Brisbane Street😉 @mybondisummer #mybondisummer

Great service and very well done pizzas. Was impressed by the good customer service and the great tastes that came from this place. Will return.
Coffeebrunchanddinner
Pizza Authentico is the place you come to when you are craving fresh pizza and hot pasta. At a standard $20 all you can eat we encourage you to bring an appetite with you. Pull up a chair at the communal table as you walk in and wait for the delicious food to be served to you. The decor is authentic, well placed and stylish and this restaurant is not your typical all you can eat. This place caters to all people eating out. For those who are in a group there is plenty of space, those flying solo will be looked after and feel part of the group. This would also be a perfect little spot for those first couple of dates or to revisit date night with your partner.

You will have your own oil, cheese and chilli at your disposal and the alternating pizza and pasta dishes just keep coming as long as your token is turned to green. If you are done flip it to red. Not sure if you have finished? Place it middle side up and take a break while you digest and make room for more deliciousness. On our visit we managed to try 6 different pizzas and countless pastas - the pesto, spicy tomato and creamy mushroom were standouts. We loved the tomato and basil pizza as well as the potato and zucchini. Drinks wise the $6 happy hour for prosecco, beer and vino and $10 spritz are great value as well. If you have a larger group of people book a spot at the smaller group tables upstairs - with its own bar section and food delivered to your table this is an awesome area of the restaurant.

Pizza Authentico is in a great spot being only a 5 minute walk from Museum Station. If you are driving nabbing a park on the street can be tricky, however, there is a Wilson car park on Goulburn street that will only cost you $10 after 5pm!

Come for the all you can eat any night of the week and if you can fit in dessert go for the Nutella pizza (grab takeaway for breakfast if you have to)! This will definitely feature on our list of places to visit again.
Food Is Really Great
I saw this place come up on my zomato feed and as soon as I read "$20 for 90 minutes of all you can eat pizza and pasta" I knew this was the place for me. The staff are so friendly and casual, it was a super fun experience. The pizzas are thin crust which is great because that saves space for the pastas too! The 'stop, pause, go' tokens are a fantastic idea and at first my group was determined not to pause at all, but the pizzas and pastas just kept coming .... you're not obliged to eat every pizza and pasta that comes around (my vegetarian friend skipped the meat ones but on that note like 70% of the options are vegetarian), but it's worth a try! One thing that's more my personal taste though is the abundance of gorgonzola cheese on a lot of the dishes, which got kinda intense after a while, but that being said - if you love all cheeses and all pizzas and all pastas, then this is your chance to try them all!!
Sougata Khan
Went for lunch with colleagues. Was pretty good. We were served 6 different pizzas and 3 pastas. Which was a lot Anyway. I guess this is a better place for long dinners.
Josh Bryer
The best. Prompt, tasty, affordable. By far one of the best authentic Italians in the Eastern Suburbs. Good on the mouth, without paying through the nose. Recommend highly.

Located just off Oxford Street near Museum Station, this lovely 2 story restaurant is a hidden gem.

We had dined here a couple of times, once as guests of the restaurant and Ompty and as regular customers as we loved it so much.

They offer a very good value all you can eat offer for $20. This allows you 90 minutes of an unlimited selection of pizzas and pastas. They are of very good quality and the menu will rotate depending on the night you go on so you may have to visit a few times to try their whole menu! It is like Churrasco style of dining where you have the green/red button in front of you and you have green for good to go for food and red for no more please!

The service is quite attentive and extremely friendly. They serve you individual slices from whole pizzas they bring out as well as dishing out individual portions of pasta from the big bowls they have.

The highlights were the Gnocchi Quattro Formaggi which were like little pillows of potato goodness covered in a delicious flavoursome cheese sauce, Spinache e Ricotta Pizza had a good ratio of spinach and ricotta and was very tasty, Margherita Pizza was a simple affair of tomatoes and cheese but oh so yummy on their thin crust base, and Tiramisu ($8) is worth paying extra for as it was one of the nicest ones I have had in a long time and probably the highlight which was amazing considering it is a pizza and pasta restaurant.

The Basil & Pine Nut Pesto Linguine was hit and miss. One night it lacked the punch of a regular pesto and slightly oily whereas the other other night it was flavoursome and on point. The Quattro Stagioni Pizza was also a bit soggy as there were too many ingredients on it. Guess the simpler the better applies here.

Overall it would be a great night out for family and friends and very well priced for the city. Definitely wear your stretchy pants as you'll need them if you wish to try the enticing range they have. It is a lovely spot and wouldn't hesitate to dine here again.
Erika-Anne
Superb!
Only $20 for 90min All you can eat unlimited Pizza, pasta, gnocchi and pizza.

It's hard to believe that able to eat good food just for $20 plus unlimited! But It's possible at Autentico:)

I have more than 5 kinds of pizza, 3 different pasta for that night. I was so full but delicious food didn't let me stop eating!haha

Staff were keep on serving us fresh and delicious food. I'm so satisfied.
My favorite food is bolognése and cheese pizza.
Better try them!!!

They do really delicious cocktails too.
We had tiramisu for dessert which just cost $8 and the portion was large and soooo delicious. I ate it all.

The ambience is chilled and relaxed, serving was quite quick and the staff were friendly.
I defs come back.

It's located near Museum station. Just few min walk.

PIZZA AUTENTICO is a progressive all you can eat Italian Pizza and Pasta restaurant in Surry Hills. The lovely gents from Ompty took myself and the lovely Nat from @getfatwithnat to dinner at this remarkable local.

The concept is a simple and fun one, one embraced by most Brazilian meat venus. For 90 minutes, enjoy unlimited pizza and pasta from their range of 30+ pizzas and 10+ pastas for $20 per person. You get a colour disc on your table per person. Green means go as in keep bringing me food and Red is stop. There was a pause option but for the life of me I can’t remember but you can pause for dish or two to get your breath.

Clickety Click for Full Review......

A formal invitation was sent to me by a friend to inform us by the owner of this beautiful restaurant to dine here. The moment we walked in, the place had a beautiful aesthetic, as well as kind staff who immediately greeted us and showed us a great amount of hospitality. They have an amazing deal where its all you can eat pizzas and pastas for a whole 90 mins at only $20 per person. This generous deal is amazing for the quality of food being served.
We had pizzas ranging from a simple pepperoni to an amazing proscuitto, rocket and parmesan pizza. We were certainly served a lot of food. The pastas were also amazing, my favourite ones were the premium mushroom one and the basil pesto.
We also treated ourselves with a few drinks, the Aperol sprtiz cocktail had to be the winner of everything we drank. It had a lovely citrus twist to is.
We even indulged ourselves in the special tiramisu which was generously served to us. alongside some fresh cream and strawberries. We certainly did over eat, however, it was a great place and has amazing food for a very cheap price.

Definitely will be returning for another amazing pizza and pasta feed!
Christine
$20 for an hour and a half of all-you-can-eat pizza and pasta is quite a steal. Set up as a massive family-style table, coming with a group can be a little stifling for good conversation, but the pizzas and pastas that are served are pretty good. Though there is quite a wide variety of toppings (on thin bases) and types of pasta and the staff are very friendly and accommodating, excess cheese and oil can make it a bit heavy.
Michelle Rose Lwin
It was really lovely and it was great value for money. I went here for an early birthday eve meal for 2 and they had a constant flow of a great variety of pizza and pasta. Ended up eating more that we really should have. Also they had a tiramisu with a sparking candle option available as a surprise for my boyfriend which was really nice and executed smoothly. All in all I definitely recommend this place for a date/special event/group dining etc. Customer service was great too.

They say variety is the spice of life and for $20 that is what you will get at this restaurant. The concept is similar to Brazilian BBQ; indicate green you eat, indicate red and you're done or having a rest. Go nuts for 90 minutes, all you can eat. A communal table set up offers a relaxed atmosphere that would suit all occasions and would be especially good for hosting a party. The friendly staff are constantly circulating quality thin base pizza and pasta. With more than 30 gourmet pizza variants they are sure to have something to your liking. I devoured over 10 varieties of pizza a couple of pastas and salad. My fave was the pizza topped with Gorgonzola scattered with Italian pork and fennel sausage. You can wash your meal down with a range of Italian beverages birra, vino cocktails and more. When we thought we were tapped out the waiter sold us on the tiramisu, to which we are now grateful for. Like a slice of heaven, it was light fluffy and delicious. Some how we managed to fit it in. You can usually make room for a good dessert, especially one this good. A little hidden but if you find yourself dining here you will not be disappointed. Be sure to wear a pair of pants with an elastic waistline.
The RnB Diary
I attended a special food event in pizza autentico and had the opportunity to sample some of its pizza and pasta. The most bizarre pizza was potato and zucchini in white sauce, it didn't have much flavour to be frank. We also had a few pastas, gnocchi, fried zucchini flowers, and meatballs. Gnocchi was very creamy and rich; zucchini was a bit too oily for my liking; meatballs were average. The party was a great success though.

The restaurant offers $20 eat all you can pizza and pasta which is pretty good value!
Yulithefoodie
All you can eat pizza for $20! Seriously what could go wrong?? Nothing!! I love their pizzas!! The star of the restaurant!! And the gnocchi omg!! How could I forget to take a picture of the gnocchi!!! Seriously guys and girls if you are after a good pizza this is the place! Plus for $20! It definitely does well for your wallet too! They are thin crispy pizza and not the thick based ones that will make you full easily! Definitely will come back for more!
Why__dee
All you can eat pizza and pasta for $20!! Favourite pizza is the one with rosemary, potato and zucchini 😋 and the gnocchi was alright too. Everything else was too bland, especially the arancini balls, zucchini flowers, bruschetta, and the cheese. Definitely need to add more salt or something!!

We only lasted twenty minutes 😱😱😜 See you at there! Oh and please try the blue cheese pizza. It will rock your world 🍕

Amys_food_adventures
Why have I not know about this place?! Been in Sydney for nearly 2 years and I visit for the first time last night! The concept is easy, they bring out different types of pizza and pasta to you and you eat as much as you want and only put it on pause or stop when you have had your fill! So much fun! And a good variety of pizza form cheese, pepperoni, mushroom, parmigiana. sausage and so forth. Pasta includes pesto linguine, 4 cheese gnocchi, spaghetti etc etc. Food was delicious and so were the Aperol spritz! Great place for dinner catch ups or lunch!
Katherine Pham
Eat as much pizza and pasta as you can. Freshly made thin crusty pizza served by friendly staff going around a big communal table. Such a great concept as you can eat so many different types of pizza and pasta without rushing to finish before it gets cold. Will definitely come back.
Lipstick On My Wine Glass
Have no fear, first daters, and Tinder novices. The perfect place to wine and dine your Tinderella has arrived, right in Surry Hills. About a 6-10 minute walk from Museum Station in Sydney, on Brisbane street, there lies a place that you.Must.Go.To. With a $20 pp all you can eat pizza and pasta deal for dinnertimes, can you really say no?...
Melissa
This place was soo much fun and a bargain. $20 for all you can eat pizza and pasta. We came here with a group of people and we all left feeling sick as we are too much. (No one wanted to be the first to turn their wood thingo to red) The waiter who served us was nice and very attentive. Good chilled vibes and nice for something different.
Sharon
This place is amazing! Only $20 a head for all you can eat authentic Italian food. What more can you ask?! The food was amazing and I loved the thin bases, it really allowed you to try everything they had. They food came out really fast and the service was really good as well. A few highlights for me would be the four cheese gnocchi, prosciutto & rocket pizza and the zucchini & potato pizza but everything was perfect. I will definitely be back again!
Audrey Svoboda
Great value for money at just $29 a head for unlimited pizza, pasta and nibbles. I came here with a large group for a family dinner, and usually with family dinners its hard to please everyone.. But this place was a plus for every single person as the pizza was quite good for an all-you-can-eat place, my favourite being the Capricciosca which was a combination of ham, mushrooms, olives and anchovies. The pizza base is nice and thin how I like, and topped with reasonable amount of toppings. We were surely stuffed by the end of the night!!

They also have a decent wine bar, so you can enjoy all-you-can-eat pizza with a bottle of Italian Red, or some Italian beer. Very impressed with this place, I would definitely recommend this place for a group dinner as its very shareable - but make sure to book ahead as the place is small and cozy.
Simply Starving
I love the concept of Pizza Autentico: One large communal table in a contemporary industrial setting, all you can eat Italian and colourful putties to let staff know when you can't fit anything else in. Tucked away on Brisbane Street in Surry Hills, I couldn't think of a better place for an intimate 18th or 21st - it's a lot of fun!

I went on a quieter night of the week, which was a big mistake as I missed out on seeing what all the fuss was about in terms of atmosphere. Luckily, the service was outstanding - our waiter was friendly and efficient, and we could not fault him!

The food was what you would expect, nothing too special due to the all you can eat nature, but still delicious! My favourite dish was the margherita pizza - an absolute classic! I'm definitely planning to return with a bigger group when there's something big to celebrate!
Lawrence Wisdom
Great idea with the red and green chip. Really enjoyable meal, and friendly staff. Would have a great at atmosphere when full. Would definitely come back with a larger group!
Eat Drink Play
Patrick Bertolleti once ate 9.17 pounds of blueberry pie in nine minutes. Joey Chestnut currently holds the world record for wolfing down 59.5 hotdogs in 12 minutes and Eric Booker’s claim to fame is stuffing his face with 49 glazed doughnuts in just eight minutes! Pizza Autentico in Surry Hills is a new restaurant offering a new all-you-can-eat menu and whilst we’re not suggesting you attempt breaking any world records here you’d have closer to 90-minutes should you wish to try.
SilkStocking
For $20 Pizza Autentico will serve up all you can eat for 90 minutes which is all brought to you yum cha-style. Very cool concept and pretty damn cheap for some pretty good food, unfortunately you must wait for the roaming wait staff to bring around a slice of each pizza available and this only happens every twenty minutes or so. So whilst it’s technically ‘all-you-can-eat’ it’s really ‘all-you-can-eat-in-90-minutes-when-we-decide-to-bring-you-food’. Make sense? Not that we’re complaining, the produce comes from Salts Meats Cheese – the kitchen focuses on quality rather than quantity but that doesn’t seem fit for an all-you-can-eat style. Luckily the vino’s on offer are great coming f

It's a Favourite!!. I'm lucky enough to have Pizza Autentico located on the same street as my home and I can't praise it enough.

Upon arrival, you are seated at a communal table, which usually I feel uncomfortable with. However, as this communal table is very large, the experience ends up being quite lovely. The idea behind the menu is all-you-can eat pizza and pasta for $20 to be consumed within 90 minutes. The main thing that I love about the pizzas is they're simple, each with a beautiful thin base, yet they're packed with bags of flavour. My favourite is definitly the spinach and ricotta, however, I could quite happily name all of the varieties here. This goes for the pastas as well, they're delicious. My partner particularly enjoys the gnocchi.

As for Jonny and his team, I feel they really understand how to treat their dinners well. They've set up the service so they're personally bringing around the slices of pizza, rather than whacking a giant pizza in the middle of the communal table with the potential for it to go cold. This approach may not work for everyone, but it's something that I finds adds quality to the experience.

With this winning combination of awesome pizza and pasta linked with a value for money price and personal service, who wouldn't go back for multiple visits!!

This place is a joke. The pizzas don't look or taste like pizza and the pasta comes with dolmio sauce-in-a-jar.

Big nope.. Pizza is about as authentic as the fake plastic trees sitting out the front. Tastes exactly like it is, british backpackers making pizza.
Sir And Mlady Dine Out
It's a simple but very effective concept - $20 for unlimited pizza and pasta for two hours (or for lunches it's only $15 for an hour and a half). It's a great deal, the food was delicious and we could barely move when we left - and all the other people there were saying the same things.

The inside of Pizza Autentico is quite intimate and sleek in it's red, white and black colour scheme and it's lower floor is taken up by a large communal table, adorned with funky graphics on one wall and an imaginative selection of elegantly framed black and white photographs showcased on the other.
Excuse Me Waiter
Unlimited pizza and pasta at dinner for $20 sounds too good to be true, but it is the modus operandi at the hidden Pizza Autentico just off Oxford Street in Surry Hills (even cheaper at lunch apparently – $15!). The only catches are that you need to down it all within 90 minutes and also it is at the chef’s discretion which pizzas and pastas will be served. There’s a strong industrial/warehouse vibe throughout the interior with the large communal polished concrete table as the centrepiece, where the wait staff will regularly come around to serve you a slice of pizza or a scoop of pasta from the shared platter or bowl. We were admittedly a bit sceptical as to how the concept would work, as we expected the wait staff to take their time serving the dishes to pad out the 90 minute period. But we were pleasantly surprised to find that usually we were still in the process of finishing our previous dish, when the next round of dishes would be coming around. The meal got off to a bit of a rou

Food Booze Shoes
Pizza Autentico's core offering is unlimited, all-you-can-eat pizza and pasta for lunch ($15) and dinner ($20), served in what we know in Sydney as churrascaria style, with food doing the rounds of the room and diners electing of servings of their desired dishes. Additional starters are an extra $9 while a dessert taster is another $4.50. But hold off before thinking this is another average, all-you-can-eat venue. Diners at the communal table can c
