Review Two Good Eggs Cafe - Sydney

Dee Tamanaha
Was a little difficult finding the place using Google maps, but with a little guidance from a nice construction worker a block down~ we finally made it. A very cute, quaint shop with extremely pleasant workers. Everything on the menu looked good. Settled on their “Two Good Eggs” breakfast platter. I was shocked how LARGE the portion size was! Thank goodness I worked up an appetite walking prior. Everything was just delish! Looking forward to trying something new on my next visit.

A cute authentic cafe tucked in a corner location. I visited on a rainy day and it was nice to be able to sit next to the large windows. I can only imagine how nice it would be in summer when the windows are fully open. The food was a big highlight. Good portion, nice presentation and flavours. It looked like a lot of care and thought was put into preparing the meals. The eftpos terminal was modern, you can have your receipt text or emailed to you which was a nice touch especially if you are splitting the bill afterwards.

Neighbourhood gem. All day brunch. Possibly the best coffee ever (they make a great chai latte as well. Friendly service, reasonable prices. 3 outside tables. Menu is abbreviated since Covid, but as you will see from the pictures, a very foodie presentation!!

Cute cafe with quirky decor interiors. Great place for a lazy morning. Coffee was alright and brekkie including the banana bread was great with generous servings.

Mixed emotions. I really wanted to love this place because it is the non-pretentious brunch spot I need in my life. The food was well priced and the portions were large. My issue is that the coffee was simply not good, which is meant to be a brunch highlight. I see that others have commented that their coffees were excellent, so maybe their barista was absent when I visited. But it was during Sunday brunch! You need to have someone who knows what they’re doing making coffees. I mean come on! However I haven’t found anywhere that feels as authentic as this place, so I will try again. If you don’t want to brunch with the influencers I would recommend it but just hope that their barista is working. 🙏🏻

Thank you for giving me a good start to my first meal of my trip to Sydney! I really love coffee and service was also good.

Rocked up on a Sunday morning. The place was pretty busy but I had to go up to the till twice to get my breakfast ordered. They were clearly understaffed. The food arrived eventually and made up for the wait. Solid breakfast let down by the service unfortunately.

Great coffee, best we have had in Sydney for a long time, and fantastic breakfast, even catered for my fussy 13yr old.

During covid times it was sad to see that tables were dirty. Cutlery and cups were grimy. There was a smell that hung around the cafe which was really off putting. Everything tasted of grease. Not a great experience.

They really knows their way around making a good egg. The egg pop was actually so satisfying but silly me forgot to hit record 😂

🍳Eggs Benedict + smoked salmon ($21.9)
🥓Chorizo, bacon & parmesan scrambled eggs ($20.9)

The eggs benny had a perfect balance of flavour and texture. The smooth avo, gooey egg and salty salmon. I'm not sure what was sauce was in that jar, but it was a little sweet and so delicious with the eggs. The chorizo, bacon and scrambled eggs dish was very hearty and fulfilling.

Excellent eggs Benedict for breakfast. Made to perfection.

After seeing a post on Instagram, we decided to head to this Cafe for midweek mum & daughter catch up.

Not disabled friendly with approx 6 stairs up to Cafe itself from the entrance.
Lots of windows make this place bright, but there was a cluttered feeling and open kitchen made the Cafe feel small.

We ordered our standard cappuccino and flat white while perusing the menu. The coffee was served with a petite chocolate wafer which was a nice touch. Coffee was nice and smooth but not memorable.

I decided on The Classic Rueben Sandwich and daughter chose the Chicken Schnitzel Burger.
Presentation was perfect. The Rueben sandwich was huge with multiple layers of the wagyu corned beef. The pickles and sauerkraut gave it a good tangy flavor.
The chicken schnitzel seemed to be housemade as the crumbs looked fresh and very crispy.
The flavor of the burger was simple and unfortunately the avocado aioli was pretty much unnoticeable on the burger. The accompanying chips were crunchy and tasty.

I did think the pricing was a tad high especially with an extra 1.5% charged for credit cards or eftpos transactions. Like who pays in cash regularly anymore? This seems to be a standard practice in this area. So just be aware!
A very nice and friendly place with great food. Large portions so you will not leave hungry. Had eggs benedict, scrambled and yogurt with granola and they were all great.

No matter how many times I come back to Sydney, I always find myself craving for Two Good Eggs. They serve some of the best Eggs Benedict in the city. I tried to deviate and order a condition of bacon sandwiched between two generously huge croissants and was equally as pleased.

Food 1/5 Service 4/5 Atmosphere 1/5

Upon walking in we were greeted with the unmistakeable smell of fouled cooking oil. I regret not leaving at this point, as this is always a true sign of things to come. The atmosphere was dated and dirty, with plenty of food on the floor throughout.

We had the chorizo breakfast stack (a special) which had chorizo, avocado, poached eggs, and diced tomato on hash browns with toast. Flavours were very mild, and nothing stood out. The plate was poorly executed as the hash browns were very soggy from the moment it hit the table. At $20 the quantity of food was good, but the plate lacked flavour or creativity.

In the hours after eating we both had upset stomachs with other unpleasant symptoms. This is pretty typical of my experience in restaurants that don’t change their fryer grease often enough, and I would strongly suggest passing on Two Good Eggs.

Tried their breakfast burger. The bacon was crunchy and the sauce was refreshing. The egg was cooked perfectly and it can not be beaten when you mix it with the crunchy bread. Just simple and yummy.
Definitely gonna come back for the coffee and brunch.

We were in Sydney for a little vacation and decided to go here. By far the best decision we've ever made! I got the chorizo and eggs (can't remember the name) and my fiancé got the wagyu burger. The eggs were cooked to absolute perfection and that chorizo was unbelievablely good 😍 the wagyu burger was "the best burger" he had ever had and we have had a lot of burgers (sorry st.burgs 😭). The place is a little small but a cozy little place. We will definitely be returning when we visits Sydney again!

Amazing ambience and amazing food.. I could have spent a whole day and tried the whole menu.. the all day breakfast menu is very interesting and scrumptious..

Visited once for brunch with a girlfriend, and i've gotta say it was pretty average. The service wasn't bad, and the food was cooked well. Just not a lot of flavour to the dishes or personality in the place. Just your run of the mill cafe.
Tanya
Came here for breakfast once due to the high reviews. Boy was I disappointed... I had the vegetarian breakfast while my partner had the eggs Benedict. Both were very bland and mediocre in flavour - I can’t believe both dishes were almost $20 each! The hollandaise sauce on the eggs benny really tasted bland and sour and the tomato chutney sauce on the side also bland. (And naturally sour from the tomatoes). The mushrooms on my dish were unseasoned and everything else on it was just plain...I can’t reiterate how bland everything was.... if you’re looking for a mouth watering, flavorsome breakfast, steer clear from this place. I believe there’s just been a huge hype over this place which has skewed the ratings - proceed with caution!

Two Good Eggs does a cracking business, meaning I should have a breakfast and see what the fuss is about. But I just wanted a coffee, after doing some chores in the ‘hood. It’s got a nice view of Harmony Park and was buzzy with, I assume folks working nearby, as well as some possible food tourists.

We went on a morning when they were quite busy, but didn't feel welcomed and struggled to get any service for taking our order/paying our bill.
We had the bacon and egg roll, which was pretty chewy and the sauce on it was sweet and didn't seem to work well in it. The coffee was nice, but overall we left pretty disappointed.
Eatwithmyfoodsafari
The toasted muesli should come with a warning; although a regular sized glass bowl of breakfast, it comes with oversized purple grapes , which also happened to have pips, and giant-cut pieces of rockmelon and honeydew, suitably sized for a yeti. Tasty nonetheless

I've been here one month ago with my friend to having brunch together. We've got the spanish baked eggs with the crispy proscuitto and also poached eggs bruschetta. Overall, the foods and the services was really nice. 👍🏻
Amanda Nguyen
Wasn't as great as I'd expect it. I reckon the usual cafe at Cabramatta is much better than this place. It's a bit on the pricey side but that's expected since it's at Surry Hills. Avocado was cut too big and should have been cut more thinly as it makes it less easy to eat.
Ace
Great spot. They were able to seat a table of 12 of us immediately and their service was quick. Everyone enjoyed their food and coffee. Great overall experience but lacked anything unique on the menu.

If you are tired from a long stretch of a walk or you want to spoil yourself with a scrumptious brunch look no further than this good egg. I had the two good eggs breakfast and it was much bigger than I thought it will be. It all fitted into one big plate just enough to fill in my stomach to the point I could have had a food coma.
Around The City
My friends and I stumbled upon here by accident because it was a Sunday morning and we were hungry. No other cafes in the vicinity was open except this place so we gave it a shot. It's a cute place that serves a variety of brunch items. The croissants here are pretty good. They have croissant sandwiches which is delicious and probably one of the better things on the menu. Everything else is pretty standard and nothing special but it was still tasty.

Two Good Eggs Cafe is a popular cafeteria in Surry Hills which is regularly featured among top cafes in Sydney (#1 on TripAdvisor). The quirky interior was brightly-lot and decorated with several portraits.

I tasted their famous eggs Benedict with salmon and ham last week. It was pretty good but not exceptional. The salmon was a little fishy whereas the hollandaise sauce was a little too sour. Great Eggs Benedict comprises a complementary hollandaise sauce which combines flawlessly with the flowing egg yolk and salmon/ham/bacon. After trying eggs Benedict from Rustic Pearl and Clippers' Cafe, I will probably give Two Good Eggs a miss.

Food was cold, bacon was burnt on the edges( I hate that ) , advacado didn't look fresh. Haloumi wasn't enough. The smoothie came out so quick I doubt it was freshly made. Oh and had to walk about 5 minutes to use the bathroom. Really disappointing.

You can never go wrong with the breakfast that this place offers. And did I mention that this place maintains a traditional ambience? I like how the place is designed to expose its kitchen to its customers. It gives you a warm tingly welcome for good food that they're going to serve you with.

Have been here two days in a row now while I was visiting for the weekend.
Impressive menu, GREAT coffee, fast and friendly service. Very good work guys, even on a busy day like today, you were still efficient

Great cafe located close to the Sydney CBD. Very welcoming, friendly staff & cozy ambience. Great menu options especially the Chorizo Stack. Very hospitable owner. Overall Highly recommended :)

I was so surprised with the speedy & friendly service. Coffee came out as soon as I ordered it. Then food came out in less than 5 minutes! Food and coffee were good, though not the best hollandaise sauce I've had. Thank you for the great service!

Always a good breakfast with good punchy coffee. The pancakes with maple and bacon is one of my favourites. Simple bacon and eggs also a winner.

Breakfast in Surry Hills led me to @twogoodeggscafe - I mean how could I go past it. Its twice as good as One good egg 😂

Surry Hills Special: warm croissant filled with butterflied pork sausage, caramelized onion, cheese and scrambled eggs 🍔ish

The eggs Benny were nice, however the hard poached eggs meant it wasn't as enjoyable as it could have been.

It was a blustery day and this cafe proved refuge, but it was the food that really saved me. Love a quirky hills cafe! 👏👏👏

Great spot for a nice breakfast in Sydney. The staff and owner were really nice.

I ordered the special of eggs Benedict on half smoked salmon half bacon and avocado toast. My wife ordered the smoked salmon & spinach scrambled eggs. They also have really good coffee!

We absolutely enjoyed this place!! We would definitely come back if we lived here.
Sophia
The food was good and the portions are generous. The only downside is the service. One of the waitresses was quite abrupt and rude, didn`t smile and had a really bad attitude which spoiled the whole experience. I don`t think we are going back giving the options available in Surry Hills area.
Micky&Goose
Lots of options on the menu which sounded very tempting. Unfortunately the bacon tasted like the frying pan and the tomatoes were very plain. However, tasty bread, haloumi and eggs plus polite and friendly service.
Willjhutchison
Been here a few times. A lot of the waitstaff here unfortunately have a lot of attitude. Food is ok, but rude service is really unacceptable.

Small cozy cafe in surry hills. They know how to do their breakfast right. Big and filling portions, perfect to start your day. They've got friendly staff as well. I would absolutely recommend it!

everytime before I come to this place, one things I have to do: prepare a empty belly. Portion here is incredibly good. Serve solid food. Great in winter.

It's not a place you find fancy brunch. It's simple but delish. And of course, normally come with two eggs.

I ordered chef special which is the roster pork belly. particularly like that onion, prefect pair with the fatty pork belly. And of course, the egg porn ;)

My friend ordered the egg Benedict, which I tried last time. Like the sauce, but I didn't finish it last time.

If you're after an honest, tasty breakfast you could whip up at home (but are obviously too lazy to) then Two Good Eggs is where you need to be.

The big breakfast is generously sized; the beans a nostalgic throwback to the canned ones I used to adore as a kid, the eggs well poached and the hashbrowns crispy.

We were a little disappointed by the services who forgot to put in the order but overall it was a pleasant experience.
Cruise
I had the spanish baked eggs plus some potato hash. Absolutely loved it! Baked eggs were delicious and was filled with olives, chorizo, onion, tomato and 2 eggs (others places I've been to don't necessarily have this much stuff in it!) Potato has were delicious too! Think a potato scallop, but mushier and crunchier!

Went with my wife for breakfast call it lunch. Eggs Benedict for both of us. Gluten free toast available for a celliac. Fruit smoothie as well. Great food and I will be back. Nice spot as it's close to our apartment.

SPANISH BAKED EGGS – 6/10with spicey chorizo, black olives & manchego cheese served with sourdough. SPANISH BAKED EGGS. SPANISH BAKED EGGS. Looking delicious right? The Spanish baked eggs arrived steaming hot with the cheese bubbling on the top. Piled with lots of chorizo and olives. It was good but not delicious. It lacked seasoning and it seem like something I can make at home. I expected something different. I did enjoy the chorizo lots though.

I was in town on overnight business and wanted to try them out for breakfast as it's only 3 mins walk from where I stayed.
The menu is not that extensive but there should be something for everyone there. I had the scrambled eggs on toast with tomate and a China green sencha tea as I didn't fell like anything too heavy. The eggs were OK but I prefer them to be abit more creamier in texture. Next time I'd like to try their 2 Good Eggs Breakfast and maybe a Breakfast burger.
Service was fantastic, fast and efficient. The cafe itself is quite nice, reminds me of a loft apartment with big windows looking down onto the street. Open kitchen so if you ordered takeaway you could watch the chefs at work. Actually they have the entire breakfast menu available for takeaway which is not that common. Will come back again.

I have been going to this place for a few years and I still love it!
A niche' cafe tucked away in Surry Hills, I find it has a unique European flavor from it's food to its settings. This is not a run of the mill cafe but a specialty.

Never had a complaint about the friendly staff and service!!

If I had to recommend any dishes, it would be the Buttermilk Pancakes with Strawberry and Passion-fruit Compote with Vanilla Marscapone, the 'Goats on Toast', The 'Young and Old' Sandwich, the Chicken Manchengo Salad and the Schnitzel with Hungarian Potato.

I also recommend you give the Specials Board a good look before ordering!!
Tom
These guys do a great job. It's a small place but the team are efficient and offer great service. Always reminds me of amsterdam when I come here because of the building and the big windows. Food is fresh and tasty, not trying to be anything too weird. Oh and the coffee is amazing
Lyly Tan
Not much variety, but the place is really nice. Only ordered the classic egg benedict and a latte. The coffee is neither too sweet or too bitter, which is good.
Jason
Possibly the beat Eggs Benedict i've ever had. I went to 2 good eggs the morning after running the city2surf and the Eggs Benny special filled the spot. 2 Poached eggs on 2 slices of avocado covered sourdough toast with spinach bacon and hollanidse sauce. Coffee was good too.
Cousy venue that was very busy on a sunday menu. Staff were really accommodating and great you with a smile. Menu has something for everyone.

Two Good Eggs is a cute place with decent, unassuming food and decent, unassuming staff.

Good vego options and nice atmosphere. Do recommend :)

One rotten egg. So I'm a coeliac, which means if I eat gluten I get sick, like writhing around in agony clutching your stomach like John Hurt before the alien bursts from his ribcage kinda sick.

So when I ordered the minestrone soup I asked the person on the counter if it had any pasta in it, as minestrone sometimes does. Her english wasn't so strong, so she asked the chef. 'No, definitely not." Minestrone ordered, I sat down at the table, not the allocated 'takeaway waiting area', which by the way has seats that sag in the middle and are as comfortable as sitting on a two humped camel.

So I sat on one of the tables and read the paper. I should say that i was aware that the cafe was semi full but there was a biiiig long table with no one sitting on it. Anyhoo, someone, I'm assuming it was the owner enquired as to whether I was waiting on takeway to which I replied yes. So instead of saying something cool like, " hey that's sweet man, but I might have to shift you over to the saggy ass stools if I need the table." he said " I'm gonna need that table in case someone needs it." No please, or anything remotely resembling friendliness. Just a bit huffy that I would dare to sit there in the first place. Which is a dick move if you're a cafe that clearly isn't killing it. Of course while I waited for my soup no one turned up and both those tables sat empty.

So then 15 minutes later my soup is ready, no sure why it took so long to ladle it into a takeaway container and toast some bread, but there you go.

So I walk out, pretty clear that I'm not going back. Get back to work, empty my soup into a bowl and there it is, the rib cage splitting gluten filled pasta that I asked was in there. Inedible for me, and the plastic container it came in is now sitting in the office re-cycle bin.

This cutaway rustic Sydney cafe sits on the corner of Goulburn Street and Brisbane Street. The cafe is housed within an old factory building and situated at a very quiet spot in Surry Hills. It stands alone in the neighbourhood and therefore unless someone tells you about it, you’ll never stumble across it.

We sat outside as the tables inside were all occupied and were quite close together.

It took us a while to make the order, and when we finally did, I ordered a toasted sandwich with double smoked ham, aged cheddar cheese and tomato while my wife had the Two Good Eggs breakfast. The portion sizes were slightly smaller than most Melbourne City cafes of this size and setting, but the food was tasty and fresh. But there was no standout feature in the food, or the ambience of the cafe that would make me come out of the way to visit again. The staff was however quite nice and the owner who stood at the counter personally asked if we were content with the breakfast.

Great salads!. Relaxed atmosphere, delish salad and good service. Will come again

Two Good Eggs Cafe is located in the hidden corner in Surry hills on Goulburn st. Maybe because of it's location that not many people know the existence of this little gem... I came to visit this place on the Easter Monday Holiday and there was no queue but the place was filled with a number of patrons. One of the reason for my visit is the pork belly special that my sister showed me through her pictures! She told me that this is one of the many brunch places that serves a generous portion of food with good value.. The decoration is quite simple which makes it homey to me. The cafe is pretty laid back and there is no rush whatsoever to order or to leave as there was no queue. Its a good place to catch up with friends or maybe doing assignments? :) To start with... Coffee.. I must say, I started this blog being not a fan of coffee. But as I visited quite a number of Brunch places, I started to like them.. Oh oh,,, I got the mocha which according to Bebski is quite flat. Now that I think

... every element here works very well together. It's a dish with simple ingredients, but it was done so well that it tasted specially good. The hash browns were crispy and at the same time very soft inside, nicely done spiced scrambled egg, the chorizo was so good it complemented everything else.

It was a lovely Sunday and my friend bought me and other friends to this lovely cafe called Two Good Eggs. The cafe has a nice and warm atmosphere with brick walls and wooden tables & chairs.

The Two Good Eggs Cafe was definitely a good option for a Sunday in Surry Hills, particularly if you want to avoid long waits at the more popular cafes in the area. We were overall quite satisfied with our experience and friendly service. We definitely very very full from the generous portions so much that we were still full two hours on.

The classic Two Good Eggs Breakfast ($17.90) that Almighty Princess ordered was absolutely delicious. Although only one strip of bacon didn’t completely please her, she would’ve liked more. Place together with the amazing tangy sweet tomato chutney and you have yourself the best big breakfast! One enjoyable approach to eat the toasted sourdough is to place the poached egg onto the dough and spread tomato chutney on top. It will get messy, but just think of the combination of flavours. It’s lip smacking!

I had breakfast envy upon seeing the hub's Italian sausage dish. The serving was generous, hence, I had a taste of each ingredient on it. Sausage - Hmmm, hearty and umami-flavored with a peppery kick. Tomato relish - Sweet and tangy, perfect as an accompaniment to the toast!
Camelandpig
The cafe is pretty small, typical cafe size, raised slightly above ground. Inside, there are a lot of cute looking decoration things. The waitress was really nice and friendly, and we found out she used to go to our school!
Thecasualfoodblogger
TGE has a lovely atmosphere with large windows letting in plenty of light and a view of a small park across the road. The interior has simple chairs and tables but nice wallpaper and interesting artwork line the walls.
Permanently Out To Lunch
What I like most about Two Good Eggs is the little touches. From the small chocolate on every coffee to a cute little tub of Spanish tomato relish with most egg dishes. Most of all, the basics are there: perfectly poached eggs, an interesting and dynamic specials board and friendly staff who are happy to have your custom. It might not be a cafe where you take your overseas visitors but it’s where you meet your friends every Saturday to analyse the shenanigans from the previous evening. One visit will have you coming back for more.

Tucked away from the busier streets of Surry Hills, the breakfast at Two Good Eggs will not disappoint. Service is friendly and helpful. Prepare for a wait during peak hours.

The coffee was served in a stylish black cup with a little chocolate wafer treat. Note: these are for sale as well and are called Quadratini and are delicious.

[G]reat for people watching, and a fantastic setting for a relaxing weekend brunch.

I've been to Two Good Eggs a few times now and it has yet to disappoint me. It's an intimate place that serves Campos coffee (an increasing favourite of mine) and organic eggs at standard café prices. The interior is decorated in monochromes highlighted w
Does My Bomb Look Big In This
Since my last visit*, new owners Andrew Menczel and Laci Csobonyei have taken the stark out of this Philippe Starck space. With Laci’s own artworks now adorning the walls, and a mural of Budapest backing the kitchen, the overall effect is quite homely.

Two Good Eggs is another of those popular city cafes tucked away from sight. Organic and natural is the mantra here, so you can indulge in that breakfast or brownie without feeling (too) guilty. After a big night out and a bit of a sleep in, Sqeak and I n

Great customer service and a delicious meal. Highly recommend getting anything from the Specials menu because they are truly amazing!! Spewing I'm not from Sydney but will definitely be visiting again when I'm back in Melbourne.

Worth a visit. Have been here a couple of times now for the reuben sandwich + 'dirty' chai (chai with a shot of espresso).

The sandwich is delicious - just the right amount of each filling!

If you haven't tried a 'dirty' chai before, this is the only place I have found that does them. Yum!

Just had THE BEST breakfast at this joint with my girlfriend. It was my first time here and enjoyed every second of it, the staff were amazing and very attentive, every bite of food was great and tasty. The hash browns are the best We both have ever tasted and it was overall a great experience. Would go there again in a heartbeat, only downfall was the limited space but it's worth it in the end for the service and quality of food

All day breakfast - one of the best I've had. I work just up the street from this little gem. The coffee has always been top-notch, but it has been a few years since I've come in for a sit-down meal. Today's meal reminded me why I raved about this place all those years ago.

Had the Pommie's Brekkie from the special menu: pork sausages, bacon bubble and squeak, baked beans, blood pudding, toast, poached eggs and HP sauce. For $18.90, I pay much more elsewhere, and get much less. So no complaints there. Care was actually placed into the presentation of my dish, and the service was fantastic.

The place is a little on the small side, so seating can get a bit claustrophobic. A small price to pay for what was otherwise a very pleasant meal. I'm not going to wait another few years before I return. Am making sure I come for lunch very soon!

I have been a regular for a couple years as I work in close proximity. Never has failed me, I enjoy the specials as well as the standard menu. Great staff, a real hideaway place.

It is small, so on a busy day might be difficult to get a seat.

Highly recommend the coffee and my personal favourites are the Breakfast Stacks, the Chicken Machengo Salad, and make sure to try their salsa and Hungarian potato sides.

Two good eggs never fails at serving a great breakfast. Polite, considerate wait staff. Generous servings of food and very good coffee. Will always return.

Great food. Went on Sunday for a lazy brunch and the choice of food and the service was very good! The food was delicious, the coffee was good and the knives were bread appropriate!
Highly recommended

Bacon & Eggs, Yum!. Had the Bacon and poached egg breakfast burger a few times now, it is amazing. The oven baked bacons with the gooey poached egg and yummy sauce go so well together I can't stop thinking about them. Returning is a must!

Good coffee and friendly service, highly recommended

Excellent as always. My boyfriend and I have been coming here for 3 years and we love it! Food is always fresh and rich in flavors. Unpretentious and just a genuine interest in serving good wholesome food. It seems like they have a great eye for picking out excellent produce. Nothing in the menu is bad and we love the specials too. Coffee is great as always. All meals are great in portion and everything reasonably priced. We've never left hungry and we've never been disappointed. Please put the baked eggs w brie and artichokes back on the menu! :-)

This place is simply awesome, good food with different specials all the time, especially the big breaky, love it so much and their smoothies taste so fresh, worth to try.
Really nice place to start your morning.

Surprisingly, the Wagyu Beef Burger was one of the moist, lean, burger cooked to perfection(not overlooked) with a house made salsa, melted cheese , tomato & rocket. The roll had a nice crunch to the crust with a soft thin inside. The mayonnaise I requested for my fries was definitely made in house.. It wasn't cheap but as a North Anerican, one of the best burgers I've had.

Just tried our luck & were really impressed. Coffee was great & the eggs Bene was beautiful!

Menu matches its name!. I had the Egg Benedict with ham whilst my boyfriend had the Two Good Egg Breakfast. Both had two poached eggs. Most of the dishes on the breakfast menu had two poached eggs! :)

Food was satisfying.

Nice small indoor cafe, awesome for egg lovers! Not an ideal if you are after outdoor sitting or breakfast in the sun.

Up from Melbourne for the weekend my fiancé and I ate at Two Good Eggs and loved it. Fantastic coffee & service. We had the sweet potato breakfast burger & the chorizo stack. Both were amazing. Great little cafe!!

Two bad eggs! Eggs Benedict was overlooked twice!!

Fantastic. We went there twice during our trip to SYD and both times were great. Generous sizing, great coffee and reasonable prices. Looking forward to going back when we are in SYD next.
Rochelle
Absolutely loved the breakfast here. Generous portions and great quality with options to add or change your sides. Highly recommend if you want a great breakfast that will fill you up and won't cost the earth. Will go back again.
Adrienne
Couldn't eat it. Ordered the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. Got a plate of weird orange gloop. I was expecting scrambled eggs with pieces of salmon mixed through. Did they purée the salmon? Apart from that the texture was awful, with scrambled eggs this is the most important part. I ate one mouthful, got up, paid and left.

Nice cafe, friendly atmosphere. The vegetarian breakfast was really generous and delicious but the grain toast was way too hard and was difficult to eat.
Amanda Charlton
This place is amazing. Really don't understand the review about not feeling warm and fuzzy.. What do you want a hug? everyone at my table had a delicious (and generous sized) meal and the coffees were perfect. Will definitely be returning and telling everyone to go there!
Chris
The food is great but the staff are a bit cool for school. Don't expect any warm fuzzy feelings after breakfast here. ...and a good reason to avoid the place is down the road opp the police station - warm staff and the BEST bacon and egg wrap in Sydney.

Pretty good coffee. I only got a takeaway coffee but it was smooth and creamy and served with a mini chocolate wafer biscuit - nice touch! It was also served at the perfect drinking temperature. However, it was not as strong or flavorsome as I would have liked and the guy who served it was pretty grumpy and unfriendly. Not bad for a takeaway coffee though.

Patchy at best. The first time I visited this cafe earlier this year I was blown away, delicious eggs benedict, fairly priced food and friendly staff. Since then I have been back 4 times and each time I have become increasingly disappointed. Staff are always friendly but the meal size and quality have decreased together. The last time we were there (last weekend) we both ordered coffees mine came first after 10 minutes (which was luke warm) and then my partners coffee arrived 15 minutes after that and it was also luke warm also. My meal of bacon and eggs came with short cut bacon cooked beyond recognition and my partner, who ordered the same thing got a plate of crispy fat. Really disappointed as it has potential, but I will not be returning.

Great little spot. Good service, nice atmosphere but most importantly perfect eggs!

Such a great little place. Just happened to stumble on it wandering around Surry Hills. The coffee was amazing, best breakfast in a long time (best hash browns ever!!!) the atmosphere was cheerful and relaxing and the staff were cool. Recommend :)

Good coffee but the sourdough a little too crispy !!! Just mention light toast

Goats on toast. I ordered this based on the awesomely whimsical name and luckily, it turned out to be a great choice. Slabs of melty, gooey goats cheese on sour cherry toast with chopped walnuts and a drizzle of honey - a simple combination but perfect for breakfast on a warm spring day. The vertically fanned out slices of granny smiths added flair to the plate and offset the rich cheese.

Cute little place hidden in Surry Hills. Went there for lunch today as recommended by a friend and just fell in love with this place. My mocha was perfectly blended. We ordered the smoked salmon salad which was light and refreshing. The combination of shredded cucumber, rocket, spinach, and caper was a bit strange for me at first but it grew on me. The prosciutto sourdough sandwich was really tasty. The hungarian potato salad was a bit disappointing as it is quite ordinary.

Had a couple of decent breakfasts here on a recent visit from Perth. Good quality food, reasonably priced. A much better option than some of the crap being dished up in the hotel we stayed at.
