With heavy rains and floods everywhere, me and the boys needed a nice night out.
The star was great, very accommodating, lots of tables. I wish they had more war games tables, there was literally only one.
We went on a Saturday night. Parking was hectic, staff were quick, smooth and easy. Security was nice and tight. All the machines were working fine.
The water feature is a nice touch, the music was perfect, the atmosphere is great.
The elevators were busy and constantly very slow for some reason. The food options are too few, I'd expect at least 5-6 restaurants inside a casino of this size. (Considering how bad the one in there was).
The bar service was extremely slow. We already had a seating problem, topped off by waiting about 15min to simply order a drink was a bit annoying.

It has lots to offer. Meals, poker machines roulette, blackjack amongst many others. Severe restaurants and accommodation at a competitive price, car draws, win a free meal and accommodation just for being a loyal member. Air conditioned, lights relaxing on your eyes. A perfect place to visit for the weekend. Staff are respectful and of your needs.

For my wife, it was extremely and extraordinarily excellent!!
From upon our arrival and being met by Karlie, our overnight stay was made even better by the rooms that we were upgraded to.
Whilst, I had to attend an event in Sydney that night, my wife was able to take in pretty much ALL that The Star had to offer!!
Very friendly, knowledgeable and approachable staff from 'check-in' and again at 'check-out'.
We certainly hope to visit Sydney again soon and when we do, then The Star will be our preferred place to stay. Thanks so much to The Star.

I can not recommended this hotel highly enough we came for our birthdays and we were treated like royalty. We were kindly given a room upgrade from the lovely Helena at the front desk. Every staff member was kind and accommodating and the room was stunning. We will definitely be back! And soon! Thank you

Great service, lovely rooms. They really go the extra mile for their guests. More than happy to recommend the suite we had in the Star Grand residences. Parking on site. Great views, good gym and pool. Comfortable bed. Only wish they provided a dedicated breakfast place. Otherwise outstanding. Thank you star 🌟.

Security staff are rude and has ruined our wedding party (after party drinks )with friends.
We we’re asked to leave for no valid reason , we were not intoxicated, we were not a problem to other guest, we were minding our own business .maybe our small dance moves while standing was not up to the Star city casino standards ,
Like I said , we were spending money at their bar and were enjoying company with friends. The Bride was in her beautiful wedding dress and our group was of 12 adults .
Security staff approached and asked 5 men to step aside and wanted them to leave (reason is time to leave)
So we all had to leave in the end as we couldn’t continue to celebrate with the groom asked to leave,
Everyone that attended the Star last night in our group on the 12th of March will never visit the Star casino again and will pass on the đź‘Ž to all our Friends, best stay away from this place
I’m glad cameras record everything, it would be good to show the replay Of the night for proof of our and good behaviour.
We look forward to taking our business to the crown casino for work functions and private parties.

One of the best! Stayed here to celebrate a birthday, the service, amenities and overall atmosphere was exceptional. We were given an upgrade to one of the nicest rooms they have and I was blown away. I’ve never felt so “royal”! Thank you!

A great getaway hotel for a Sydney staycation away from the kids. So many restaurants and amenities which makes for such an easy getaway, nothing to think about or worry about.
Rooms are well priced for what you get, as is the food. Something you get for being attached to a casino.
Staff was helpful. Pool was full of kids but it was the school holidays so I suspect that was the reason why.
Would be happy to stay again anytime, in fact I know I will...
