No other Thai place can match its freshness the food here is the best you can get ...addicted to pad ki mao. Only place to use fresh chillis in it ..all others use dried flakes not the same vegies are sooo fresh ..very busy place ..no bookings
My friends and I love the food here and we always order some take away after we are full and the cost is so cheap. We are all Thais and recommend this restaurant to everyone.
I shared multiple plates with family tonight and was so impressed by the flavours and freshness of each dish. Even vegetables were cooked so well! I had a Tom Yum to myself and there were so many beautiful herbs. For a casual restaurant, the service was great. Our water glasses were always filled. Thanks for a lovely experience!

Had the lunch special, so meals were discounted from the standard menu. My veggie pad thai was $8.50, the seafood lad nah was $11(chinese brocolli with gravy) and curry puffs were$2 each. The place is always packed and is great value for money. All dishes were cooked really well and very generous. For example, the seafood dish included salmon, mussels, prawns and squid! Recommend :)

Absolutely the best Thai restaurant in Sydney! They have lunch special everyday till 5? Try their tom yum fried rice and mango sticky rice when the season coming
A no frills, local Thai eatery conveniently located on Glebe Point Road, which is almost always packed full of people! We visited around 6:30 pm on a Monday night and were lucky to snag the last available table for two.
Today, we ordered a green curry with chicken + rice and a pad se ew also with chicken. The food came out lightning fast and piping hot! There are lots of staff working here, which seems to be the reason why they are so efficient with taking and preparing orders for both eat in and takeaway.
The pad se ew was delicious with a nice soy flavour, and not too sweet. It came with lots of mixed vegetables, chicken and egg which was all cooked well. The green curry was definitely not the best I've ever had, with quite a thin consistency, however, it had a great flavour (not very spicy at all) and also came with a generous amount of chicken and mixed vegetables.
Overall, a cheap and cheerful meal which came to about $22 total. Definitely a new go-to, local restaurant!

When I first came to Sydney I made it a goal to try as many Thai restaurants as possible. After months of trying place after place I still find myself always craving Tom Yum over any other place. I seriously have had Pad Thai from everywhere and this place is tops. Always packed with people for a reason. The prices are great and portion sizes are generous. Don't be like me and try 50 different Thai places looking for the perfect one. Go straight to Tom Yum.
its my best and only place to eat thai food. the shop is so small and nothing really special about the shop. but foooood is yum and price are so cheap for what you get. im their loyal customer and just love them
One of my fave Thai places to go to in Sydney. Tom Yum Tum Gang is a great place to eat with family and friends. The lunch hour on weekdays is tops too! $8 a meal excluding seafood :)
We had the Pad Thai and Jungle Curry this time around. Everything is yum. Tom Yum Tum Gang uses the freshest produce. I'm a fan of broccoli, mushroom and capsicum!

This is one of regulars, we usually get the chilli noodle and fresh basil stir fry with chicken. We also like the pad Thai and chicken skewers. Super affordable and delicious every time.
Tasty Thai food served quickly and with a smile. Girls working there are very efficient and the food is lovely and pretty authentic (in my humble opinion). Bonus is its also super cheap most meals $10-15 and sides only $2-3. Give it a go!
I remember when these guys split from Thai on wok years ago. It was great value then and it still is today. When she said $10 I thought I'd heard wrong. Its no wonder it's packed - cheap and great tasting food.
I went with old faithful, Pad See Ew, with beef tonight.
So good. Really fresh vegetables, tender beef and perfectly cooked noodles and the flavours are balanced just right - not too sweet, which this dish often is, nice salted soy and the side of chilli sauce gave it the perfect kick.
Really quick service, and good vibe.
And I've never seen a napkin holder like that in my life! It's an optical illusion, napkins in a drink?
Tasty, fast and cheap, what more could you want.

What does one starving foodie and her partner in crime do on a long weekend? Eat her way through Glebe of course!
This was around lunch time, a glorious Saturday afternoon and two grumbling tummies to satisfy!
My partner in crime wishing to attack into some wholesome and carb laden food, which eventually led us to this locale.
This Thai grub hub is situated three quarters of the way down Glebe Point Rd, near St John St. This eatery when you walk past it, is always filled with hungry mouths waiting to be fed.
Thinking to myself... Proof is in the pudding! It can't be busy if it's not half decent?
That sealed the deal and...
Well, this place became our lunch time dining joint out of all the places we could have devoured and delighted the taste bud, where you are inundated in choices of cuisine and different types of eateries.
If you want good food and great ambiance... Well this is not the place to come to. This is no art nouveau eating house. The decor are simple and straight to the point. With simple tables and plastic chairs situated close together, as this is quite a small place. Some tables were positioned outside to accommodate the demand.
Well now I know why they were so busy! Why cook, when you could eat cheap and delicious Thai lunch for under $10 per person. One dish is suffice.
I must say though... I have had better Thai cuisine else where, but for this price, who can complain!?
What did we order?
I ordered the Chilli rice noodles stir fried with pork and my dining companion ordered the Kra prao. I could not believe that, this noodle dish filled me up for the next lunch and dinner. I was in serious food coma, walking through Glebe market with that much food in my belly made me feel like I was carrying a small food child.
As for food promptness and service:
The food came our fairly promptly, the service quite basic. Water was topped up consistently. You will never feel dehydrated, or is it the fact that... They are trying to mask the MSG?
I don't know? Too late to think about that now!
Would I come back here?
Yeah I would come back here for a quick bite, for it is light on the pocket and a bucket full of flavour. Nothing outstanding, but tasty enough to return to grab a quick chow.
Ordered Chicken Pad Thai for takeaway. Tasted beatiful. The lime twist brought on a tangy taste which was a very nice finish. Picking up the food was a bit of a difficulty considering the restaurant was particularly packed and tables were positioned closely together such that movement was challenging. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this place for thai food.
Been here a few times and this place never disappoint. Food is cheap and delicious. Food is in big portion too. Always busy but there never fail to get a table. Might have difficulty to get table for a big group though.

Insanely good value and really quick service. Whilst I didn't enjoy the style of the chilli basil stir-fry as it wasn't spicy enough for my liking, you really cannot beat $1.50 chicken wings. So crisp and delicious! Love the fresh coconut, too.

chicken pad see ew is my choice, comparing to several highly rated thai spots around, this is king. It's all about flavour for me and this hits the spot, not too saucey and not too dry.

Food: ordered the massaman curry and pad thai. Fresh ingredients, really tasty. Unbeatable lunch time value $8. Superb. Service: despite the restaurant overflowing with people (a good sign), food come out really quickly. Efficient service, with so many punters it needs to be. Ambience: cafe style, outside eating. Open plan and has lots of natural light. Nice all round.

I asked for NO oil. And they listened and did not question me. Food came out. No oil. Looked amazing. And tasted AWESOME! They use so much flavour its a burst of freshness in your mouth
They where quite busy. So it gos to show they are good. Havent tried any other dishes. But my friend tried the chicken larb and said she lives for it! It looked amazing. And she loved it.
Down sides. Flys everywhere whoch is annoying. Good for a quick meal. Not a fancy dinner

There really isn't much hiding in Thai flavours. It's either great or not so great and this place is awesome. Staff are friendly and constantly on their toes, which reflects well on the management team.
The atmosphere is welcoming and incredibly family friendly but can consequently be a little too noisy. The vibrancy of the restaurant just takes you to a happy place and I am desperately trying to get my hands on a replica of the fat lady in bikini figurines that they have on display in the restaurant. If anyone knows where I can find one, please hook me up!
Food is authentic with a substantial menu to cater for vegetarians. Pad Thai could be a little sweeter for my tastes but I am a true fan of their Penang curries and satay chicken skewers. Sauces are plentiful and they definitely don't skimp on proteins when ordered.
Menu is priced competitively and lunch specials are an absolute steal. Portion sizes are reasonable and parking in front is free for 15mins. Great for takeaway pickups!

Pad Se Ew is daaaaaa best!! The thing I like about this dish is that I can taste the what they called as "wok taste" and the smoky taste as well. I'm in love with this and would highly recommend this!

Great authentic Inexpensive Thai food.. I visit this Thai place very often as they serve generous portion of food with great AUTHENTIC Thai taste with inexpensive price. My sister-in-law is from Thailand. When I brought her to this Thai eatery she was commenting how good and authentic the food was. The food is always fresh and price are very reasonable. For their lunch special they only charge $10 for seafood Pad Thai. Great serving of seafood and noodles not so sweet and flavorsome. If you have meat or vegetable dish they only charge $7.50. You cant go wrong trying that place out for such inexpensive price. I travel from Brighton-Le-Sands to Glebe to have my Thai food cravings as I know their food is alway s consistent. Talk about it and thinking about the food makes me hungry.

This place is a favourite for all at our office. $7.50 lunch up until 5pm can't be beaten - and the food is always hot & fresh.
Pad Thai's etc are great, as are the soups, chicken wings & chilli noodles. New finds are the BBQ chicken/salad & seafood salad (seafood dishes $10) both come with rice, salad & pineapple. Loud, quick & staff are super quick. I miss the guy who looks like a big girl.

Really, really cheap Thai food but, very popular and tasty! We had the Massaman beef curry with rice, Pad Thai with prawn, and for entrée, spring rolls and prawn blanket. All delicious! It's a cafe style so can be a bit noisy (it was extremely busy while we were there). They are cash only, so visit the ATM before you go. Lots of street parking available too.
There's a good reason this place is always so popular. The food is fresh and the prices are right with well-priced lunch specials, and reasonable prices outside of that as well.
I really enjoyed both the tom yum fried rice, and the chicken kra pao which both had a nice kick to them.
The restaurant itself is an open and bustling diner-style place - cheap and cheerful.
Consistently great quality and affordable for the past decade-plus it’s been open. You’ll always be served quickly and have an ice cold glass of water brought to you. Their delicious Thai beef salad changed my thoughts on what salad could be and it’s almost all I get from there these days after a lifetime getting Thai noodle and curry dishes. They use a nice tender juicy steak and it mixes beautifully with the salad juices, not many other Thai places do it like this, most places the steak is dry and the salad is bland.
