A gorgeous hidden treasure of a little place. Had a beautiful evening here with amazing company, Euro feel wine bar offering delectable tapas sharing menu, ours was matched with fine chardonnay ;-) A must try is the grilled haloumi with watermelon and bbq duck wings - just divine !!
Amazing staff, atmosphere and food. Been a regular (ish) for a while and can’t think of a better place to unwind with a few casual drinks �

Gallon is a beautiful bar with lovely food and a great selection of wines. My partner and I had our engagement party at Gallon and it was pretty perfect. Thank you to Julian, Ludo and all of the staff who made our event so special.
This is one of my favourite places in the city albeit in Pyrmont. Often meet friends for a drink and something to eat.
We go there heaps & love it . I don't want heaps of people to go as we live it the way it is .

Great place for a drink and shared plates. Prawn pizza is a winner and the wine selection is excellent. Court yard is relaxing and nicely decorated.
One of my favorites in Pyrmont. Friendly staff, good service, amazing food. Love their pizza. Ambience is pretty good, esp the outdoor seating.
Best pub in Pyrmont for both atmosphere and food. Outdoor area is such a great place to sit and relax on a sunny day. Chicken wings are awesome and the pizzas are so yummy. Great serving sizes for lunch and dinner

What a wonderful find!! This gorgeous wine bar in the heart of Pyrmont was just what my partner and I needed after a tough weekend. We booked a table late Saturday afternoon through the Zomato app (which was really handy) after just seeing it pop it every now and then. Our reservation was for Sunday evening. When we arrived, we were instructed it was bar service which was fine, we didn't take long to chose the menu! We ordered the fried calilflower 'pops', the mozzerella and bread drizzled with grassy gorgeous olive oil, slow cooked lamb with hummus and the potatos. The food was very delish however the cauliflower and potatoes were a bit bland for my liking, it just felt like they needed a lot of salt to bring out any flavour. But on the other hand, the lamb with hummus and bread was fricking amazing! The lamb melted in the mouth and the hummus was a perfect creamy consistency with just the right amount of chickpea lumps so you knew it was fresh. The boccocini/mozzarella with Grissinis was a delightful way to start our little tapas feast. For our wine we chose the brut which was perfect with the food as it cut through the richness. The atmosphere of the wine bar is lovely especially the courtyard. I can't wait to go back and maybe try their pizzas next time!! 😁Sabrina Da Silva
I had the chichen wings. Delicious. Just the way I like em. Sticky vinegary with a bite. Want to try the wood fired pizza next time. A few beer options for choice. Nice place. Good crowd.
Nice little bar with good food and pleasant service. Pizzas and salads are good, the potatoes abd fried Camembert are delicious. Good selection of wine and have visited on several occasions.
cool bar that has a hip vibe - cocktails, wines and Tapas style food like duck shanks with plum sauce or hummus with slow cooked lamb. I ate the hummus with pita bread and lamb, $18 and tasted delicious. Great for an easy social catch up or Birthday party. There were a few events on so they could cope with large crowds. Great music and lighting. Felt comfortable at this. trendy bar and had a good time

Really nice pizza! Great for Friday night drinks or a casual Friday lunch. There is an outdoor seating area out the back where you can enjoy a lazy feed and drink, together with friends.
A great find. I guess it is really good to catch up with friends for a casual bite and drink or taking business partners. It can be a bit noisy though.
I liked the chicken wings (melted in the mouth) and the salads.

This place is so cute! The atmosphere is really nice with a courtyard in the back. Its just difficult to get a table at dinner time. Food was delicious and big portions.
Need to come back here. This is a lovely little gem! The outdoor area is great & a good place to have lunch. Also came here on a Friday night and has a great buzz with a mixture of locals and the after work Pyrmont crowd. Tried some of the food but definately got food envy from some of the other food which was being delivered to other tables. Must come back here to try the meatballs as they looked especially tasty with the side of potatos!
Gallon is a beautiful pub & I loved the interior. Julian mentioned that there are many boy pubs in the area & he wanted to create a more unique & lovely environment.

The bar is relatively new and has a nice cosy atmosphere with old decor. A wine bar with an English style pub atmosphere. A bit surprised to find in Pyrmont.
There is also a good selection of beers.
Nice and cozy watering hole.... Great little spot to catch up for a drink (and a nibble) in Pyrmont, staff are helpful, drinks are good and ultimately, Gallon is simply a great place to gather together.
Great Bar. I went here the other night with a group of friends . Love the music and ambience .The food was average but we enjoyed the cocktails . We had a great night out . Will be back again !

Just right. Great atmosphere, attentive and friendly staff, food well presented and tasty and a good wine list. Our only slight issue was the disappointing beer list - some advice from Porters next door wouldn't go astray!

What a find! An otherwise barren funky bar landscape, Gallon has all the chic of Smith & Mills in NYC. Understated, brooding ambience with sophisticated yet unobtrusive staff. Just delightful, especially for the lover of all things porcine. Wine list solid, food relatively simple yet very tasty, it's the cavernous warmth that shines. Well done, and welcome to Pyrmont!
PERFECT. Gallon is a perfect place for good beer, decent wine and a well matched menu. Their charm lies in the fact that they aren't trying too hard. Well decorated...they used the natural strengths of the space. Well designed...you never feel cramped no matter how many people are there. Why does it have to be anything else? I love it.
Yummo. I have been to Gallon a few times and enjoyed the eclectic menu, wine and service. A nice place to hide away with a date, snuggle up into a corner and get stuck into some plonk. On certain nights when It's busy when you're unlikely to find that snuggle corner, instead you will find a vocal crowd of shirts hanging loose.
A very special place with an amazing interior. The place has a great vibe with a sense of discovery. You simply get carried away with every detail. I had few drinks but will definitely try the food next time.
A glass of Italian wine was all I needed that night.
Super good service. Came here about a year ago for the bowl of potatoes. They made it on very short notice and were pretty quick with it. The guys at the front were friendly and hospitable and I’d definitely come back. Only wish that the serving size was a bit larger :)
My experience here was amazing!
Great service by a young man by the name of David, he was kind and polite to me and was able to get my drink to the table instead of having to get up. Great cooks that night as well the meat lovers pizza was a delight! All around all staff were super lovely and accommodating to all of my needs!
Would recommend for a dinner or a drink with a few friends. You will be seeing me here again!
I highly recommend sitting outside underneath the fairy lights. It’s quite pretty in the evenings. They have delicious pizzas and the hot crumbed soft cheese is a must. They make very good margaritas too! For white wine drinkers, I recommend the Pietra Italy Dolomites Pinot Grigio.
The food is really good. They have got some good vegan options. Its a nice place to hang out with your friends.
Their peking duck pizza is a must try!!!

Went there with friends for a few drinks only but stayed the entire night! Can only say WOW.. amazing place, super friendly staff and delicious food.. I am definitely coming back for the Martulla Pizza! Highly recommended.
Such a great venue. Amazing old building with restored stone wall and lots of space behind the facade. Pizza was delicious. Great wine selection. Awesome staff.
