Went on Wednesday 15 Nov with my wife for my birthday, food was excellent, waiter (Mac) was incredibly attentive, a credit to the restaurant. Food menu was great, wine menu very comprehensive. Would recommend this place for both a special occasion, or even just a lunch or dinner catch up with friends. Had a bad experience previously at Bennelong, a few years back, but this place was awesome. Well done guys!
I had a dinner with friends and we were advised by the manager what dishes to order and the wine matched. The chef then came to the table to ask for an opinion and we chatted. All the staff very nice and helpful, the place very beautiful and the dinner went in the best way. I can't wait to get back. I recommend anyone to go there, it was a nice experience!
Atmosphere was warm and approachable , the waiters were exceptional. One in particular did a fantastic job of being attentive and knowledgable while in no way coming across as rigid . His personal anecdotes made for a casual warm evening while being waited on like a king .
The food was on point and had the classic french flavours I was looking for.
The dessert and cheese trolley gave a fantastic nostalgic feel that you just don't see too often these days .
I had the escargot and then veal sweetbreads . Both were fantastic although the sweetbreads had a little too much veal jus for my personal taste . This however didn't take away from the dish .
Overall a fantastic dining experience and I would go again
A fabulous meal with very attentive staff. Every course was a taste sensation and we left feeling most replete. A very comprehensive wine list made it a challenge to choose for our meal. Perhaps the best course came from the Dessert trolley, from which we had a wide range of choices. Guillaume is to be complemented on the variety available on his menu. Thank you.
I was lucky enough to have my birthday dinner here. You must try the tuna nicoise, the silky egg will transport you to a special place. The dessert trolley is a must, we tried the lemon tart and chocolate salted caramel tart although we will have to return to try the chocolate mousse. Overall a great experience. Food and service is first class.

You don’t often go back to a restaurant couple of years after you last did and find it even better but that’s what happened for my birthday dinner last night. Melt in your mouth oysters (I had to order a second entree of them), giant plate of mussels, wonderful wine and cocktails and while it’s early, probably the service experience of 2018. What an amazing night. Won’t leave it so long to return next time.
The food was amazing! Everything was full of flavour and so delicious. The staff were super friendly and we loved watching all of the action on the pass. Will definitely be going back again soon! Highly recommend the scallop entree and the duck permentier 👌🏻
The food here is amazing. Every bite was equisite. The scallops and snapper were beyond delicious and you do forget you are in s foyer of building once you sit down. Cannot wait To go back. A must for fussy Sydney diners !!!!!!!
I love the bistro ... It exuberates style, warmth and comfort.. it has such calmness and homely feel that my son sit through our more than 2 hours dinner, calm and enjoying his food.. dish after dish... We had an awesome time... The service was friendly, gentle and welcoming.. every dish presented brings a smile to our faces.. the pork neck and beef.. wow! Just love how the meats were cooked to perfection.. the marinates were just so clever.. you can taste the natural sweetness of the meats.. I love it, love it, love it! Will definitely go back again!
The best French food that you will find in this town! Highlights were everything...the service, ambience but most importantly the food! Onion soup, steak frites, profiteroles...all beautifully done...my only complaint is outside the restaurant is the corporate world... thank you 😊
Outstanding, Baba rum was just the same as I had in France 🇫🇷 very generous portion.
Fabulous evening. Attentive and professional service from Jean and other staff. We had Moules Marinieres and Steak Frites with bearnaise sauce, both highly recommended from previous reviews. The steak cooked perfectly and just the right amount of bearnaise. Other reviewers have thought too little or too much. The mussels were wonderful, generous serving - too many for me. Wine quite pricey - $65 cheapest bottle but they do have to pay the rent in the CBD.
Overall - can’t wait to go back. I believe they have a business lunch special Monday - Friday.

Excellent French bistro food, in a relaxed setting, perfect for a business lunch.
Their coffee is excellent, service is great and food is delicious.
Do not look passed the dessert cart, it is a thing that dreams are made of and they are exceptionally generous with their servings! Get on it!
A French restaurant with classic and modern elements. Perfect place to have a date or business chat. To be honest, all dishes are out of my expectation since I used to love Asian tyle of cuisines and not a very big fan of French cuisine. Highly recommend the passion fruit souffle！ Want to try other flavor next time~
The oysters were yummy and fresh 😍 The french martini was so refreshing.
The chocolate and mint truffle was soooo heavenly & the Goldband snapper just simply melted in my mouth.
I spent around $100 for the meal.. Entree, main and dessert plus the martini!! But the food was simply divine.
All the waiters/waitress was super friendly. I did enjoy my evening tonight.. Great place to enjoy a nice meal with friends or family.. I highly recommend this place!!! Next time i shall try the snails 👏😬
We've been here a few times both for lunch and dinner and the experiences were mostly good, though their food quality sometimes are not consistent. I like their classic items like the escargot, cheese souffles, salad nicoises, Paris mash and cauliflower gratins but not so much of their changing special menu like the one we recently tried i.e. the lamb shanks with thyme sauce which tasted a bit off. The steaks are just OK, not great. The wine selections are great though and their service level is good. The ambience is nice for both business lunch and romantic dinner settings plus the location is convenient in the Sydney CBD.
Oysters, onion soup and souffle were great. Souffle is amongst the best you can get. Nice setting. Mains were ordinary. And service not very friendly and can be improved. Love Guillaume himself tho.
The wait staff were delightful and attentive. The food was delicious and I would love to come back here again. Try the Wagyu, duck, mash, and the passion fruit soufflé! Everything we ate was on point.
Classic French food done really well. I would recommend the escargot in garlic, confi duck and my favourite, the twice cooked cheese souffle. After a big meal it's nice to have the option of petit fours at only $2 each. Amazing space as well, great for a birthday or group dinner. Prices are mid range, definitely worth it though.
