My partner and I booked here for Valentine's Day after having to cancel elsewhere. This was the only place we could find that offered a variety in their set menu, including vegetarian options I could actually eat. It was slightly too long between each plate (maybe because I'm not a slow eater lol) but the food was absolutely amazing. Both my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.

The staff were very elegant, attentive and efficient. The food was lovely, and of a high quality. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of service. The staff asked if I would like to have a refill of the food and for more hot water added to my tea. We had the Spicy Vanilla Dream & Irish Whiskey Cream Tea Pots (they’re amazing with / without milk). The service is beyond First Class. Definitely would visit again!

What an outstanding glamorous and venue. The chandeliers are absolutely timeless and stunning. The decor and decorations are world-class. I was here for an International Womens Day event. The high tea was divine, and the food was on point! Delicious coffee, and I especially love the scones. The staff were friendly, engaging, and wonderful. I would highly recommend this venue for a high tea, wedding, or special event 🌸💕💟

Great High Tea option in Sydney. The drinks were amazing, and the scones with clotted cream and jam were definitely the highlight. One of the best scones in Sydney for sure. The sandwich bread was slightly thick but still tasted great. One of our petit fours was rocky road which I found slightly strange - and lower effort, but other than that the rest were delicious. Didn’t love the savoury pastries but they were still acceptable. Service was very good! Staff were incredibly friendly and kind.

Being in Queen Victoria Building, The Team Room needed to have an elegant and regal feel to it. The decor delivers exactly that. They offer an excellent High Tea that has a generous mix of both savoury and sweet. Tea selections are extensive. Service is excellent as you would expect.

An overall good experience, nice decor and plates and chinaware. However small portions, they should have enough sandwiches so each person can sample all flavours/fillings and the hot food felt a little low quality. The website says they use clotted cream (traditional English high tea ingredients) but it’s just double cream - still tastes good just misleading advertising. One of the more ambient places for high tea in Sydney.

Couldn't possible leave Oz without booking High Tea here in the splendour of the The Tea Room. We loved the whole experience, with even the tea being served in Royal Albert bone china cups - the only way to drink tea properly. Top marks for the impeccable service and excellent scones. 😉

Went to celebrate a friend's 50th birthday. The staff were friendly and attentive. We were seated at a lounge setting but it was breezy as it was near the doorway. They moved us to a table which I preferred. There are no decorations on the tables. But once the food comes out it fills quickly with lovely teapots and plates. The food was ok, nothing spectacular. There is a large tea selection and other drinks. Unfortunately we had to wait for our tea as the water was boiling. Our food was warm. I think you're paying for the location and the room as it's gorgeous. It was a pleasant experience though it was rushed as you only have 2 hours before you're kindly told that you have to leave.

Having high tea in such a grand and historic building is unbeatable. Especially as we were seated in the low seatings with the lovely velvety chairs. Thought the menu is quite flexible too as you can go with the traditional high tea (the lot) or a light tea or just plates of sandwiches/scones etc. We enjoyed our time at The Tea Room.
