During the intermission of Cloud 9 at the Sydney Theatre Company (which was excellent by the way!) we refueled with cocktails while admiring the picturesque views of Luna Park and the harbor.
The Eleventh Hour (Vanilla Rum, Frangelico, Khalua and espresso) was one of the best Espresso-like martinis I've ever had! I highly recommend! Unfortunately the Dancing Queen (Spiced Rum, Blue Curaçao, Frangelico, Pineapple juice & Peach Bitters) wasn't as delicious but still an okay cocktail.
Overall, an absolutely gorgeous view to enjoy a pre, during or post theatre cocktail! :)
Lovely setting with amazing views of the bridge and harbour. Initial impressions of echoey interior were put to rest over the course of the meal, so don't let that put you off.
The order at bar and mildly haphazard table cleaning/ waiting service were well worth it for the food and fun.

Close to our hotel at the very end of one of the wharfs, what a magic spot! Quiet a Collingwood/Fitzroy vibe, we sat at a bar along open windows looking straight out at the bridge 😍. Once again the order/pay at bar take a number ! Two beers purchased with a dip platter to come first with instructions for our mains half an hour later, how hard can that be? 😳 no problem was the response. Beers finished feeling just a little hungry 😉 waiting waiting..... very nice waitperson comes to ask if we are ready for our mains 😵? but we haven't had our dip platter yet . Very very apologetic and actually paid for our bottle of wine, lovely gesture ❤️. Mains were very tasty and the wine went down a treat! Lovely setting, would be spectacular for wedding receptions & NYE
Loved this place ! Great atmosphere and DELICIOUS food, we grabbed some food last week whilst attending a Birthday and food was amazing not your average bar food! Recommend the lamb and calamari
It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon in Sydney and you could feel the fleeting winter. It was perfect weather for a birthday lunch at this bar. The windows were all exposed with an uninterrupted view of the harbour bridge and luna park.
I had the roast chicken mojo and the bruschetta with roast pumpkin and caramelised onion. The roast chicken mojo was quite good with a succulent and juicy interior. It was flavourful, served on some white beans and had a mediterranean feeling to it. The bruschetta bread itself felt a bit tough in texture but the mix of roast pumpkin, caremelised onion and ricotta could not be faulted. Also had a lovely cocktail, the love potion, a simple mix of berry syrup, chambord and sparkling with some fresh strawberries. Very refreshing!
Its a shame they don't quite take reservations here. Whilst the food isn't quite fireworks, on a nice sunny day, it's a perfect way to spend a lazy afternoon before catching the theatre.
Found this out on zomato. Physically, it's even harder to find, walking down that long corridor. When you finally reach the bar, you're greeted with a beautiful view of the harbour, one worth taking photos of. Quality photos can be taken here. Had a b'day lunch here for a high school friend.
Ordered the fish and chips with a drink from the bar included ($20) which in retrospect, was seriously worth for the decent food and quality views. All the lunch specials my friends ordered were $20 too. The pasta and burgers all looked appetising! Would recommend to anybody who needs a quality birthday location!
Hard to find a nicer spot nearby for this price! Unbeatable views of the harbour bridge and water, great for pre-theatre dining. All mains under $30 and sharing plates under $16. The food was creative and fresh, but didn't quite hit the mark for me in terms of flavours. Service was friendly and unassuming. Sit at hipster tables or equally hipster lounge setups. This would be a good date spot!
Average food but great setting. Slightly over priced for what you get, especially the calamari which was really tasty but tiny portion for the price. Burger bun was also a little dry and tasteless. Great views though!
As I enjoyed a nice stroll across Barangaroo and stopped by the theatre bar at the end of the wharf for a gorgeous view and glass of wine. It's a walk down a long black corridor with cute signs to keep you motivated for the walk. My gal friends and I order a few glasses of wine, a cider and a cheese board (top photo, $28). The cheese board comes with three cheeses of brie, blue vein and cheddar, quince, grapes and crackers. The cheese is quite tasty and I lose myself in the moment. I sit back into the comfortable couch and enjoy my view.

Having decided to have some graduation drinks i thought why not try this place out as i've always wanted to visit but have rarely been in the area.
As you get to Pier 4, take the lift up to level 2, turn right and walk all the way down. It 's at least a 5 minute walk. Don't follow our way and walk around the whole pier and then be told that the lift was just at the front :/
As you arrive take a seat and order at the bar, There is lots of large tables indoors, a smoking section with great harbour and bridge views. They also have big rooms on both left & right hand side that could cater for functions.
They have Pimms, Sangria (red & white) and Aperol jugs which are pretty dang tasty. Stay till the sun goes down so you can enjoy the colourful lights of Luna Park.
To share we order some chips with smoked paprika aioli $9 to start and then everyone got their own mains. I got the Prawn linguine and that was quite filling and nice.
Overall, a lovely first visit and will indeed be back in when the weather warms up.

The most favorite thing that I really love to go this restaurant is the view !!! It absolutely feel relaxing and staffs very friendly.
If mention about food, I could say it the tasty pretty average if compare with the price.
I think here, is suit to hang out + have drinking and chatting.
Sorry for those who were disappointed. We had a great lunch. Great view ... Hard to beat and easy good service. Priced reasonably and food was wholesome fresh and tasty. This is not fine dining. Don't expect it and it won't disappoint. Maybe different if it was busy but a wonderful spot for a relaxed catchup lunch with mates and enjoy a sunny day old Sydney town.
I honestly do not understand how this place doesn't have a queue. I would visit just for the ambience. Nice decor, chill vibe with no waiters rushing you. You may dine with the harbour bridge view or sip cocktails on their terrace sofas during sunset. But even better, their food is amazing. Very large portions at a reasonable price. Do try their tiger prawn linguine. For any instagrammers out there or selfie addicts, this place will fill your photo albums.

I didn't get the fish and chips but that was the most expensive dish there and I saw someone else have it,it was 2-3 small fish pieces with lots of chips,not sure if that's worth it

Not the ordinary fish and chips. Beautiful barramundi and fresh chips! It is a bit expensive though at $28 but luckily I have the buy one get one free deal from entertainment book. The Rose was very goo there too. Though the place is a bit out of the way
The Bar at the End of The Wharf’s ambiance was really nice and casual; the space was fairly large with areas to sit on the balcony or inside and dine, noise levels were moderate and lighting was good. The service was okay; the food was a little slow to come out but the staff were very friendly. Overall my experience here was very enjoyable; I’m unsure if I’ll return here soon for food as the menu is quite limited and pricey. I’m more likely to be returning here on a Friday or Saturday for a drink with friends and the ambiance.
The ploughmans platter, sliders, hot chips with chipotle mayo and wild mushroom aranchini balls are the perfect snacks for sharing with friends while working your way through the cocktail and wine lists before a show.
So tonight as part of our STC subscription we are off to see 'The Splinter' , so rather than dine at our usual spot Cafe Sopra , we decide to give the relatively newly opened 'Bar at the End of the Wharf' a go. 'The Bar' fills the space formerly occupied by The Wharf restaurant and after the very lengthy walk down the pier, we are happy to settle into our seats and admire the best view of the harbour, Sydney has to offer. We kick things off with The Tempest (Havana Club Especial, fresh lime, Bundaberg Ginger Beer and bitters) - topped with half a lime, it is cool, refreshing and thoroughly enjoyable. The menu is designed for sharing, so we order 4 items and a salad assuming the plates will be staggered somewhat - unfortunately everything arrives at the same time - so annoying!
Great view. Great atmosphere, as well as great mix of people. The girls, the older crowd having a bite before a theatre show, the couples. Its a great place to come and have a few bites, the cocktails took a while to make, the snacks were simple but well made.

What a fantastic bar/restaurant! Beautiful food, high ceilings, indoor and outdoor areas, overlooking the harbour.. Excellent food and service and not too expensive. A must for show-goers.
The bar with the best view in sydney. You can be a local, or a first time tourist, or a frequent traveller to Sydney. It is guaranteed you will like the view of the harbour from this bar. There are not many other better choices of bars here. A must go.
Drink and food menus are decent. Good bartender.
Great vibe and great location. The food is simple and small serves but my Roasted Salmon was fine for a light meal before a play. Just make sure you enter the place up the stairs from Hickson road and not along the wharf - it is a long walk back. Staff very friendly. Views to die for!
