Really nice food! Perfect portions for me! I had the 3-course meal and loved every bit of it. I really felt so happy at the end of the meal. Nice experience! The staffs were good and welcoming as well! Definitely coming back here!

Beautifully boiled bacon and silky black pudding, an Irish food odyssey. Hospitality was warm and welcoming in a stylish environment that included Celtic touches without the usual cliches. We will come again.

The lamb, mushroom and shiraz pie was delightfully cute and complemented by the broccolini and asparagus. The brownies were to die for - so rich and the texture just perfect. And a great deal of effort has gone into the wine list which shows. An amazing experience with exceptionally friendly hosts - thank you for a wonderful evening!!!

A truly amazing place, food is so delicious, comfort Irish food but modern and better than your mother’s (shhhh) service is wonderful and so is the atmosphere

The best Yorkshire puddings I’ve had in a long time. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. All the meals that came out were consistently tasty and authentic. The dining area is clean, well presented and with great service. I’d certainly recommend and I’ll be coming back again.

Had dinner here when restaurant first starting out. Clean, tasty, fulfilling and highly enjoyable dinner. Staff were very friendly. Love how bread is supplied and not charged the way restaurants should be starting a meal. Only downside is my partner gave you 4 stars as he would of loved white pudding to be on the menu. otherwise keep up the great work.

The best Irish food I’ve found in Sydney! We had breakfast but we’ll be back for the bacon and cabbage and a roast for sure... it looked so good coming out of the kitchen. Lovely service too, with the chef coming out to chat to us. Great place!

Love love love this place! The bread baking class is an amazing experience and highly recommend it. Brendan and Adam are the best hosts and teachers, they make it fun, interactive and a great learning experience. It was amazing how simple it is to do at home. Can’t wait to get back soon for dinner. Quintessential comfort food at its upmost best. The Wholegrain mustard mash is amazing. The bacon and cabbage dish was extremely delicious. The rhubarb crumble for dessert was very tasty. The wine was also lovely and our waiter was extremely welcoming and very charming. Definitely recommended and we will be going back again soon

Been there for brunch. Was an awesome experience as Food quality was exceptional and service even better, one of the chefs brought the dishes personally, he was really considerate with lots sense of humor which made me feel like at home. A bit shame that I was too full to have dessert. Will be definitely back either for brunch or dinner.

I took my group of 20 to dine at 34Bia on a Thursday night and we all very much enjoyed our food and service.
Firstly the staff. When you have 20 people sometimes the numbers can change and they were always accommodating with a can do attitude when we thought we would have 22 and when we thought we would only have 16 at one point. Everything seemed effortless.
This carried through to when we arrived, ordered , served and went to pay. The waitstaff and chefs were always friendly and onhand. The owners came and said hello, which is always nice, and they were as friendly as can be.

With a large group they did advise us that sometimes there can be small delays in getting 20 plates out to everyone at the same time but we did not find that was the case when we dined, again it is always nice to be told that upfront though. Also they did not charge any set gratuities for group nor say we HAD to have a set menu, like some other places do.

Now for the Food. OMG i can not speak for the rest of the table, apart from saying they left telling the staff how nice everything was and congratulating me on picking an awesome venue, but MY dishes and my partners dishes were just heaven.

For entree we chose the Chorizo and seafood Chowder and also the Black Pudding.
I LOVED the Chowder and was stealing spoonfuls off my partner with total food envy. It had a nice kick without being too spicy and was probably one of the best chowders i have had in Australia.
The black pudding dish was a delight too. I have only really started eating black pudding more over the past couple of years but every time i try it i appreciate it more and 34Bia really knew how to work the flavours and make something i could gladly had more of.

Mains we both had the Pork Belly, as did half the table, and it was EVERYTHING i look for in a pork belly. A couple of big meaty strips that were seasoned to perfection and with a perfectly crunchy crisp skin that had that delicious saltiness to it. Even the vegetables on the plate were given as much attention and made the dish a hit to me and my partner.

Price. Not too bad at all and they have a good early bird option for 2 or 3 courses. We paid $39 for 2 courses. So definitely not a budget breaker

Was the venue decorated in bright colours and touches of bling to glam it up? No. Was it needed? no not really. The look as a very easy and relaxed feel but i dont dine somewhere to look at the walls. The food and the service and the company make the night what it is. And we all had a great night out

Highly recommend 34Bia to everyone. Groups, parties, singles, couples, friends, casual, romantic. Whatever and whoever. Very much worth the visit!

I'm a devotee of Brendan and Adam's old cafe 28 Acres (still go there to this day), and this place is just as good. I've never eaten so much ham in my life.

I had such a good experience here and thought it would be easiest to break it down into the different elements that made it so good.

Service

Everyone was greeted as we arrived by very friendly staff and a drink order taken and served immediately (sounds simple but not always done). Each course came out on time and within minutes everyone was eating, no need to ask for side orders or sauces. Everyone was looked after well. The chefs Adam and Brendan came out to ensure we were all happy and chatted to us after we finished - truly wonderful service and added to the great atmosphere.

Food

The menu is very well considered, options for both safe and adventurous eaters and subtle touches on the menu indicate that the chefs really know their stuff -every element of each dish is considered. The I had the whiskey smoked trout for starter and then the miso baked aubergine for mains - both were delicious, so refreshing to have a vegetarian dish on a fine dining menu that is not an afterthought. The sauces with each of the meat dishes were just divine by all accounts. I didn’t have desert so cant comment, but those in our party that did, really enjoyed them.

Atmosphere

Adam and Brendan have created a relaxed environment that places the customer experience at the heart of what they do, with friendly and attentive service in a neutral but immaculately clean decor everyone will feel comfortable eating here. They have sensibly invested their money in the things the customer has most contact with - the cutlery, linen, crockery and glassware - all are very high quality and makes the whole experience of dining there a great experience.
