The pasta quality and texture was on point and tasted super fresh! The pumpkin gnocchi was so delicious - the gnocchi was made perfectly. Also enjoyed the mushroom fettuccini. The burrata was also pretty good although not the best. Recommend trying this place especially if you’re in the mood for some tasty pasta🍝
We came for some hearty pastas on a chilly evening. The spaghetti meatballs hit the spot with a generous serving. The sauce in the marron dish was delicious but could’ve done with a lot more pasta. Both were on the specials menu.
Pasta was amazing and well preceded, drink was good too; friendly staff, cozy atmosphere. A bit too expensive but acceptable for dining once in a while.
Flour Eggs Water was fantastic! I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, with friendly staff, quick service and really good food. We sat in front of the open kitchen, and it was amazing to see the food being freshly prepared! Highly recommend if you are in the area!
Such fresh produce and cooked in a simplistic manner to really bring out amazing flavours. Absolutely love the quality if the food here. The oysters were so delicious!! The meatballs were soft and complimented the crunchy garlic bread so well. Loved everything!!!
Ordered:
•Pappardelle ($33) - the Pappardelle is their signature pasta dish and I could see why. The pasta was silky and the beef was so tender which makes it famous and popular among the community.
•Linguine ($33) - it was a squid ink linguine with cuttlefish and chili. I think squid ink was the wrong choice but others seemed to like this combination.
• Meatballs ($17) - the meatballs were a nice starter and they were delicious except half of the meat balls were cold but the one half was hot.
•Spiced berry ($10) - a non-alcoholic drink with spices such as cinnamon.
•Still water ($7.50) - note to self to say tap water instead of still water as they aren’t the same thing.
Traditional Italian restaurant, very nice hand made noodle. Really like the feeling sitting in the old factory and enjoy the meal with friends. Recommended. In regards to desert, recom the little desert , taste good
Visited the place for lunch with friends today. The menu is not very extensive but has options for everyone and caters even to vegetarians. We tried the burrata with pine nuts and blood orange for starters and squid ink linguine and mezzelune. The muscato was also really good.
This is probably my favorite place to eat pasta so far. The portion is big and fulfilling. I love the ambiance and the service. The staffs were friendly and food came out very quick 👍🏻👍🏻
Service is on point and the staff really make you feel important. They take the time to welcome you, ensure you are familiar with the specials and are happy to talk you through the drink options.
I’m not normally someone who will buy pasta when I eat out, this place is a major exception to that rule. Their pasta is all made in house and is cooked to perfection. They have a simple menu, however regularly change the specials on offer. I love not being overwhelmed by the amount of options on a menu.
My favourites have to be the pappardelle ragu and the squid ink linguini with cuttlefish. The absolute king of the place though is the dessert; Cremino al cioccolato. A mug of chocolate ganache, salted caramel gelato and meringue. I won’t tell you too much about it other than it is indulgent, rich and wonderful. You have to go experience it for yourself!
Fantastic and fabulous service by host and waitstaff. Definitely the highlight. The Papardelle and tagliatelle was ordered. Simple pasta with great flavour.
I'm not much of an Italian food fan... But I did enjoy the food here. Clean, fresh, simple. With friendly service. We tried the tuna tartar a gluten free pasta and a crab ravioli style pasta. All quite good. Good drinks selection too. Only thing I'm not a fan of is wooden seats in communal style seating.
Food: Really good pasta selections, freshly made, pasta are really nice here
Services: from the door down to the floor, everyone was very attentive and helpful. We had a noisy one year old, no one seems to be bothered with his mess, and was very helpful all round. High chair was provided. Really good services overall. Food was fast
Ambience: open kitchen, nice ambience
✦ With a few exceptions, we've pretty much tried all the restaurants at Tramsheds after going for Flour, eggs, water. ✦ Here the menu is simple, a few entrees, a handful of mains and two desserts. All Italian based with top notch service. ✦ Prices are a tad on the expensive side, but is to be expected for this sort of real estate. The restaurant itself is spacious and open with long wide tables.
I love my pasta and pizza for all the lovely carbs and cheese. This place definitely hits the right note with their tasty pasta textures and flavours. Lovely service throughout and will definitely come back for more!
WOW. Quite possibly the BEST pasta I've had in Sydney!!! I had the Beetroot Ravioli (5/5): The perfectly cooked purses of ravioli was filled with a decadent beetroot and blue cheese purée (don't worry, the blue cheese is not strong or pungent, just a small amount to add some salty flavour to the beetroot) on a bed of moreish pesto sauce. JUST YUM. I'm salivating thinking of this dish!! Will 110% be back again soon for more.
My friend had the Beef Pappardelle which she thought was even better than the pasta she had in Rome (she just returned from Italy with her Italian family) which is a huge call!!
Even the complimentary Foccacia with Chilli Oil here was sooo yummmm. I can not wait to come back!!
Sublime Pappardelle beaf ragu. I haven't had pasta this good in a long time. Silky smooth, fresh, perfectly cooked. The ragu was mouth wateringly good as well.
And the kids meals , which was the Pappardelle with tomato sauce and fresh mozzarella , where just as good, and the same size as my main! Great value - especially when you have twins :-)
The red cabbage salad was awesome as well, of note is the blue cheese, walnuts and beautiful dressing.
Service is friendly, efficient and attentive.
This is legit the best pasta I've ever had , it is so perfect that I am lost for words, folks u gotta try it out for yourself ! We ordered the squid ink pasta with mussels and oh my god the mussels were so fresh n bursting with flavour - nuggets of seafood goodness. The pasta was cooked to perfection, we have nothing to fault at all.
Will have to come back and see if they truly deserve a five...chefs u guys did a great job, keep it up !

Round 2...Yeap deserves that five! Three Pastas! Three great dishes!
Eggs Flour Pasta is definitely one of my favourite eateries in the Tramsheds. You can't go wrong with freshly made pasta and exquisitely presented dishes from a seasonal menu. I was very impressed with the friendly service and recommendations. The complimentary bread and dipping oil was also a plus.
Omg - their pasta is incredible! Partner thought the serving was a tad small, but lucky for him that I get full easily. I thoroughly enjoyed the parpedelle - Yum yum yum!
The folk from A Tavola know their pasta and do it well, and they’ve expanded the family with the opening of Flour Eggs Water at the recently redeveloped Tramsheds precinct. It’s a long narrow space where you can sit at a bench or on a communal table, and where you’ll be warmly welcomed by the staff, as I was on both my visits. It isn’t an overly long menu, but one changes regularly depending on what’s seasonal, and you’ll recognise a few favourites from the original A Tavola in Darlinghurst. The menu is a little bit of a meander through Italy, as you’ll see a bit of Sicily, a bit of Sardinia, and some Calabria and Piedmonte thrown in for good measure.
Everything was good
YES
Agnolotti dal plin, eggplant, scamorza, ricotta salata
MAYBE
Parpadelle - very good
Burratina - not creative but well balanced
Buffalo mozzarella, rocket, cherry tomatoes, prosciutto
Visited Tramsheds for the first time and decided to eat at this restaurant because, freshly made pasta? Yes please! We ordered a number of dishes to share for our group of five and my personal favourites were the calamari fritti (entree) and the parpadelle with lamb. Special shout out to the complimentary bread which was super soft :)

Tramshed was one of those 'to visit' places but we finally made it last weekend on a wet miserable day where everybody else had the same idea of going out somewhere dry, so parking was a complete nightmare.
It's a chic place to dine and so many inviting places to dine but I've always wanted to try A travola, because I've heard so much about it, and the place was buzzing with Saturday crowd, so I thought that this place must be good.
Service is prompt. We were greeted by the floor staff who ushered us to a bench table which directly looked onto the kitchen, seeing your meal being made in front of you. And at the front of the restaurant, you could also see all the pasta being hand made. It was quite delightful.
After being seated, one of the wait staff comes out with complimentary bread and dipping oil which was nice. We noticed that the dishes were of decent proportion, and so, decided to share the following dishes: calamari fritti and chittara al nero to share, plenty for two.
I did have high hopes for this place but I think some where along the way... it missed the mark. The calamari was rather bland and the pasta was on the salty side which over powered all the other flavours shame to say.
The place does boast a relaxing kind of atmostphere, the open kitchen and pasta making at the front of house are very good ways of drawing in the crowds.
Stopped in for Apertivo after visiting the Matt Blatt Furniture Pop-Up Bar next door. There was a really long queue here and were told we could wait in the Pop-Up Bar for a drink which was pretty cool. It was definitely worth the wait.
I had the Oysters, San Daniel Proscuitto and Mozzarella and Salt/Pepper Calamari. After a few cocktails, this was the perfect meal which was not too heavy not too light.
The eating counters look directly into all the action taking place in the kitchen which was pretty cool. Upon entry, you can watch handmade pasta created from scratch! The food is as dramatic in flavor as it is in ambience and is a reflection of the leading dynamic approach to dining and entertainment that the Tramsheds Harold Park complex.
This little restaurant is located inside of Tramsheds and specialises in handmade pasta dishes. The restaurant has the layout of a rectangle so they only have long tables which you will have to share with other people. I had to wait around 15 minutes for a table as it was quite packed when I went.
There isn't a lot on the menu and mains range from $25-40 for a pasta dish which is a bit more than what I would usually pay for. Food came out generally fast and I got the beef pappardelle as well as the bugs tagliatelle. Honestly, on the plate it doesn't look like much but once my partner and I finished both pastas, we were really full so I would say proportions are pretty good.
Both dishes were delicious and equally as rich as each other. The tagliatelle had some sort of butter sauce I think but it wasn't heavy so I could finish it all. You could taste that both pastas were handmade and they had a silky texture. The tagliatelle had 4 pieces of semi-reasonably sized bay bugs but a 5th piece wouldn't have hurt.
Absolutely loved this restaurant. Walking in we saw them making pasta and hanging to dry for the next day of service, just that view really set the scene for a good night of authenticity.
We had mozzarella salad and calamari to start, both light in flavour and full of freshness. We then followed with a pappardelle with ragu and the tagliatelle with bug, the pasta in both dishes was absolutely divine, cooked to perfection and not too eggy. The sauce lightly coated the pasta and both were rich and absolutely gorgeous. The ragu was my favourite between the two. We didn't stay for dessert but definitely feel like we should come back for a tiramisu. Wonderful little restaurant in Tramsheds!
I read google reviews and Zomato reviews, and decided to try this place for ourselves. It is worth a try and the pasta is the best I've ever had! Definitely the best dish I've had for 2016! We did not book and they made an effort to let us in within 10mins, although we do suggest you book ahead. I had bugs pasta and gf had seafood/prawn (sorry forgot the name) both were super fresh and tasty. The empty share plates are provided very warm, and was replaced again with another new warm plate prior to the meal, gives you the impression this place is serious about their dishes and quality. The pasta was amazing. I've read other reviews that suggested it may be too salty, and I can agree although I felt it tasted better salty without needing to add any salt or pepper like we usually do with Italian dishes. Give this place a try, you will not be disappointed! This place also has a good atmosphere within newly opened Tramshed. Great for couples or groups! I want to try their main arm, A Tavoli, in the future. We will definitely come back to Flour Eggs Water. Hope they will open in Melbourne one day.
Hands down best pasta dish I've tasted - bug pasta - must have. Vibrant atmosphere, incredible food and amazingly friendly staff make this new joint a MUST visit. Definitely be returning soon. Blown away by the whole new tram dining area.
I love Italian food and I was not disappointed, Flour Egg Water served up great food and the service to match. Only bad taste was the surcharge when using a savings based card, I don't mind paying high prices for good food but come on guys.
Finally has a chance to try this last night. Service good. Nice pleasant maitre de and waitress.
Order the octopus entree. Was ok, but need more of a kick to it. The octopus wasn't grilled or BBQ so didn't have that nice Charing flavour, thou overall this dish was slightly below average.
The came the main, which as the beef papadelle and bugs tagliatelle, the pappardelle was very nice with the ragu style sauce a real standout. Serving size was skittle big, but very nice overall. Tried some of my partners bug tagliatelle, very nice sauce and good well made pasta. Definitely these pasta dishes are a standout and would be back for more. Serving size was slightly larger, so had to ask for a doggy bag as we were saving ourselves for some desert.
For desert we ordered a traditional tiramisu. A very well made desert. This was shared and shouldn't of been, as I wanted all for myself. Really nice and will try their other deserts another time

I love A Tavola so when I saw that Flour Eggs Water was by A Tavola, I jumped at the opportunity to book a group dinner here. We were quite a big group so I had to contact them via email. We had a set menu with a choice of 3 entrees, 3 mains and dessert.
After receiving the menu, I decided on the dishes we would have. I felt at this point in the booking that the restaurant needed to be a bit more organised as I was told the menu was changing and to decide on the menu on three different occasions.
On the day of the booking, we were pleasantly greeted and seated. Once all the guests arrived, we were served some homemade focaccia and then warm olives. The entrees then arrived. I chose the mozzarella, burrata and the calamari. They were all great dishes, although I did find the burrata dish to be a bit boring. I felt like it should've come with some bread or crackers as it was just the whole piece of burrata with slices of citrus fruits.
For the mains I ordered the popular braised lamb pappardelle which was the highlight of the night. It has a strong flavour, but without the strong lamb taste though which I prefer. The second pasta dish was the agnolotti del plin. It was a very creamy dish, but the portion sizes were small for one plate. The last dish was the rigatoni. This was probably my least favourite. I found it to be very salty and so did the rest of my party.
The dessert was a choice out of two per person. We all chose the Signature A Tavola dessert, the cremino. This is a wonderfully creamy and thick chocolate & hazelnut dessert. The other choice was an affogato.
Overall, the dinner was great, the atmosphere, food and service. The only confusing part was that the restaurant hadn't quite figured out the correct portions for the size of our group. We had to ask for more of the mains as they only gave us 2 portions of each dish which was not enough for our group of 9. I was glad they accommodated and gave us more when we asked. Given that the restaurant had just recently opened, I would say they still need to figure out the ins and out of group bookings. I would definitely go back, probably when the menu changes though.
We've always loved A tavola so no surprise that when this one opened in TramShed we had to check it out. Well, it didn't disappoint. We didn't have a table reservation but we were seated when we got there and the service was good. I'll recommend this place too but note that it's a long table you'll be seated on and you'll have to share your personal space. $160 for 2 with a bottle of wine.
Everything was amazing.
The experience and service from the moment we were greeted to departure.
The food was amazing and the team even helped with options to meet our dietary requirements.
The Foccacia was so delicious and soft. And the Burrata was freaking amazing. Soft, Cheesy, sweet and Savoury. Just the most perfect dish!
We enjoyed a Saturday night dinner for five. A great range of menu options to suit all tastes. The warm olives are great as well as the mushrooms as starters or entrees. Another must try is the layered dessert in a coffee cup. Wines by the glass and bottle plus cocktails and barista style coffee. Very helpful wait staff. Good location for kids to play nearby.
Located in the rustic yet modern ‘tramshed’, Flours Eggs Water gives you a foodgasmic experience. I have been to numerous Italian restaurants in Sydney and I must say Flours Eggs Water is a level above. The well curated menu is versatile and has vegetarian friendly options. The dish ordered by me was a flavour bomb I did not expect. I highly recommend this place to have good food with good people and celebrate friendships.
In frame: tortelloni, beetroot spinach, goats curd
The service and passion from the front of house staff to the chefs were on point. The food was stunning too. I had the carbonara and my partner had the pappardelle, and they were both great. I can't flaw it and we'll be back. Thanks again for a great night!
The burrata was lovely, the pastas kept simple and the service was attentive.
Amazing pastas!! Every bite was so flavourful! Service was great too! Our waitress saw me googling the menu to understand What was what, and offered to explain instead! They hand make their pasta here, so you can guarantee you're getting the freshest and legit stuff! A little bit on the pricy side but Will definitely be back!
