Pancake on the rocks is honestly a must if you visit Sydney. Not only they sell delicious pancakes, there are also savoury option, like ribs, pizza and savoury crepes. The pancake that I ordered taste really nice, the chocolate in Devil's Delight is not too sweet, just what I wanted. Personally I'm not really a fond of chocolate, but this pancake just want me to eat more chocolateš¤¤. However, Bananarama is still #1 for me. The ambience is really nice, service was really good. I'll definitely revisitš
I am now a very big fan of their pancakes. Truly loved it. They are worth a try and also I am sure you wonāt finish it all. They have huge portion size also quick service and so friendly staff. We ordered so many different types of pancakes all of them are amazing also there are so many other options you can choose some thing savoury from that if you are not huge fan of sweets but I love sweets.

Pancakes On The Rocks did not disappoint! We got the popular Devil's Delight and the Apple Crumble buttermilk pancakes. Excellent price, tasty food, good portion sizes, and fast and friendly service. 100% recommend and they're open 24/7!
Must place to visit for dessert lover! Esp with the pancake and crepes. Not overly sweet and good portion of food to share with friends.
I actually really love this place. Its opened 24 hours, so any time of the day you can get yourself a cheeky stack of pancakes. I always get the big breakfast no matter what time of the day I am there. You get two buttermilk pancakes, fried egg, bacon, hash, sausage - its delicious. Once I decided to try fro the grill menu and got pork ribs and chips, they were absolutely delicious. SO now I always get ribs and pancakes! Its a good place for families with children to.
The pancakes are to-die-for! The best ever!
Friendly staff. Very retro looking ambience and vibe. In love with the food though. But I feel they should reduce the size of their potions because I observed alot of people were not able to finish their food and it seemed like alot of food gets wasted in that manner. Hash browns are very unique and different.
Ordered cinnamon swirl pancakes. The pancake was a bit too sweet to my liking but still okay. Not too overpriced considering its location & pretty decent environment. I guess itās a good place for some sweet treats if you are in the area visiting museums, going to theatre etc. but doesnāt really worth going just for the foodās sake.
Loving the new location and so is everyone else it seems. Menu is extensive but couldnāt go past the Apple Crumble and Blueberry Heaven pancakes. Pancakes were soft and fluffy and portions were VERY generous. Surprisingly the Italian Salami pizza here is also really good. Greek Salad wasnāt too bad but the dressing was a bit too sour for me.

My thanks to Pancakes on the Rocks for the invite.
Great quality of pancakes for any situation day or night. It has an amazing amount of different pancakes with different toppings and everything. It's in a prime spot of the Rocks and I don't know of many people who have been to the rocks and not tried Pancakes on the Rocks.
Always a delight to know that they are open for 24 hours, especially when Iām having a late night craving for sweets. Service can be improved, they are usually pretty busy and occupied. The food is always a hit and miss, Iāve had great food sometimes, other times mediocre.
I came here for the first time for my birthday lunch. My friend and I ordered pork ribs and ribeye steak. They were so so amazing! Pork ribs were tender, chips were crunchy, steak was spot on (we liked it medium-well), salad was fresh. Now I know why itās one of the most-loved places by the local people and travellers.
The meat is super tender and melts in you mouth and obviously the pancakes and generous with icecream and strawberries and its overall just a food coma inducing experience. It's a bit of a wait to get in because its 24/7 hours open, it's a no brainer to come late at night when everything else is closed.
The best place for a late night dessert/supper stop!
The pancakes are consistently well made, and the flavor perfectly balanced.
The service is understandably slow at peak hours, but otherwise, waiting time is not too bad.
The savory dishes are great too!
So, we stopped here to be all touristy. Food did not disappoint. The pancakes are delicious. No doubt about it. Also, portion sizes are on the large side. If you leave here hungry, there's a problem!

Pretty good pancakes and really big portion for food around 14$. Its still hot when they served it and its taste beautiful. Staff is pretty friendly because they keep making sure that the food is good.
Overall a pleasant experience, however very busy. They were very quick in giving out the pancakes! Would definitely recommend this outlet with the friendly staff!
My favourite pancake house!! I always order the same food every single time. The pork ribs and devil's delight are my most favourite in their menu. Great food and nice location plus they are open 24/7.
Luckily we got there early for the breakfast to start our new day of family trip. We have ordered Aussie sunrise, Strawberry Patch, Barbecue Pork Ribs, Marshmallow cocoa and English breakfast for sharing with family of 5. The food portion is big with affordable price, taste is good. Staffs are friendly and very attentive. The environment of the place is very pleasure. Will be back when travelling Sydney for next time. š
Great Ambience, Courteous staff , Food looks amazing !Taste is alsoĀ really nice but they can definitely be better with the hype around!
We ordered the garlic and herbs pizza crust, and it was unique and delicious for sure...Mushroom Crepe was also good!Chocolate pancake are too good to be true for my sugar cravings.
Amazing place for people who enjoy pancakes. They serve the best pancakes in the town. Haven't had something so yummy ever.
Pizza is decent good if you want a side that is not sweet. Coffee is up to the mark.
You feel overwhelmed, overjoyed and satisfied when your palate is delighted. This comes to my mind everytime I think of Pancakes on The Rocks. Nachos, Pizza and Pancakes I mean everything was just yum. Staff were friendly and welcoming. A must visit if you are in Sydney. What better can you get than a cozy ambiance, great service and tasty hygienic food. Just Great.
This outlet is the Australian equivalent to IHOP. The food tastes goodĀ nothing too great or bad. Great place to go to satisfy late night desert craving. I'm giving 4 stars for the dessert pancakes and pizza. The Mexicana potato pancakes were just ok.
Loveeee this place! From the food to the kind staff, it satisfies your sweet tooth and leaves an amazing experience. I came here so many times with friends and family. Although the pancakes can come off a bit too sweet, itās still delicious and the mushroom crepe is to die for! Coming here is worth it
I tried their š„ pancakes 2 years ago, but I didnāt enjoy it as it was too sweet. But this time, everything is quite balance!
We Guoriumš§Ŗ donāt wanna have too many sweet so we only ordered one single pancake. Thatās a really good choice.
Pork ribs are okay, standard, not as sweet as Hurricane Grill. But feel there was not as many meat as Hurricane Grill ribs.
Mushroom š Crepe nice š and yummy š highly recommend!
The guy from the reception are unfriendly at all! Lol š
Have been coming to this venue a few times.
Quite popular tourist destination.
Their Pancakes are pretty good and generously portioned. Iām not really a fan of their savoury dishes however.
The service was a bit awkward at first. Just awkward... Xihuahua š¶ cringed at the start haha!Anyway the food was excellent! I think their cooking changed a bit over the years. The pork ribs was kinda wholesome, not too heavy on sauce. Value is not too good tho. The mushroom crepes was good on the inside but the topping mushroom with cream just feels raw! The single pancake was great value and taste! Big round pancake with maple syrup and a scoop of vanilla ice cream, yummy!
Best thing about this place is that itās opened 24hrs! I recommend their chicken Caesar salad in terms of savoury options. The choc and vanilla surprise is a great option for pancakes if you canāt decide whether you want chocolate or vanilla pancakes
This place was recommended by one of the people I met on my Sydney bridge climbing exercise..
And boy this place is awesome..
Food - 4.5/5 .. everything that we ordered was received quick looked very good and tasted very nice..food quality is no doubt excellent..
Ambiance- 3.5/5 .. a simple ambiance nothing fancy but nice neat and clean..
Staff - 4/5.. Helpful and Cheerful..
A gem of a cafe light on your wallet good service super tasty food nice music.. what else you want.. Recommended..
Delicious food! Pretty good service even though itās always packed and a really sweet spot to eat, views arenāt amazing considering how good they could be in that area but the place itself looks nice enough and the pancakes are pretty dang awesome. Good milkshakes too

The best 24 hours place you could ever ask for āŗļøā¤ļø because they range from savoury to sweet dishes with the best pancakes ever! My favourite is their strawberry cream cheese crepes and original crepes with additional nutella sauce, choc sauce, choc & vanilla ice cream šš
The red bricks and yellow light won't make you feel like you are about to be served the delish pancakes and pizzas but they do :) being a vegetarian I went in for the eggplant pizza which didn't sound or taste like an eggplant (which was great) and vanilla and chocolate pancakes which were finished off as soon as they arrived :)
Went during Vivid so there was a long waiting line that trailed down the stairs. Once in, staff were friendly and service was quick. Crepes were average but the pancakes were very more-ish. Always going to go back for those pancakes!
Tried the most popular pancakes in Sydney. I ordered Eggplant pizza, Blueberry Pancakes, The ultimate , hot cappucino and hot marshmallow cocoa.
First of all the pizza was thin crust and it was real good, the cheesy pizza balance with the moist eggplants, onions and mushroom. The Blueberry pancakes was good its quite light and the sauce was sweet and sour. Most of all my favorite was The ultimate pancakes which has a good amount of cream cheese and sultanas filling glazed with raspberry sauce. Oh yes this was really good.
All of the foods and drinks cost me around 77 dollars. Their service was good but the space was not too big.
Enjoy!!
I came here for a friend's birthday dinner and found the whole experience super enjoyable. We were seated in the upstairs portion of the restaurant and served quite promptly. The food portions were huge, despite the fact that they were slightly more expensive than typical restaurants. The actual pancakes were so delicious. We tried a huge variety of flavours, and each of them were super impressive. The presentation was homey, yet very artistic. The meals and the pizza were also very tasty. It was definitely a great feed and all of us were left extremely satisfied. I was very impressed by the service. It's also within the vicinity of the harbour, so you can relax, windĀ down and take a walk nearby after a big meal here.
Saw the que outside the place and was in mood to wait as it looked like it will take more than an hour to get in. Thankfully my husband was patient and insisted to wait as it was our first visit to Sydney and he absolutely didn't want to miss such a place. We got our table for 6 in just 20 mins. We tried only pan cakes and coffee and didn't feel like having dinner that day. So yummy and full of flavours. Description to each item in the menu was precise and appropriate. We ordered 3 pan cakes and came out fully satisfied. The staff has to and given credit here to manage everything so swiftly that wait was less as it seemed. And the taste made it worth the wait time.
Iāve ordered the strawberry patch, the ultimate and the regular stacks with mapple syrup and ice cream. The pancakes are so thick and fluffy. The strawberries are very fresh and the ice cream on the top of pancakes very delicious. My favorite one is the ultimate which has cream cheese inside the pancakes.
Loooved the pancakes, and there's so much choice of extras/combinations as well as entirely different meals that there will be something to satisfy everyone here. Also, I know this is probably nothing gourmet, but the maple syrup is incredible. Highly recommended breakfast restaurant (though they are open 24 hours).

One of my best place to eat pancakes in Sydney! Their ribs and crepes also my fav! I choose the beef and pork ribs with ham and cheese crepes. Generous with the cheese and portion
Really good food and really great service. The meals were served quick. Pancakes were alright but the rib eye steak and the ribs were excellent. Would definitely comeback to try more of the menu
One of the few places open all day! I visited the place around late noon and the place had a waiting for 20mins. Once I got the table the order was taken quickly but the service was quite slow. I had to wait for 35mins for my order.
I had order a steak and the devils delight pancakes. The steak was well done and perfect to my liking. The pancakes were very filling and can be shared with a person. Although the prices are high, the quantity makes up for it. Located at the end of the rocks close to circular quay with a view of the harbor bridge and opera house.
the service was fast. as we came inside, the staff directed us straight away to the table. i came around 10pm so i just want something light to eat, but then i ended up ordered the famous pancake and tried out the margaritha. the food came quite fast. the portion is big. the chocolate pancake was really good, its fudgy, its so chocolaty, cant say no more, totally agree that the chocolate pancakes are really good like seriously good. Pancakes are good but the menu hasnāt changed since I first came here 20 years ago!! Service was quite friendly which made the experience that much better. Spent $44 for to pancake dishes and 2 coffeeās so price wasnāt an issue. Servings were large as neither of us finished which is a plus! The two big factors that pushed this from a 3 to a 4 were the friendly staff and the fact that they were open at 0600 on a public holiday. They are actually open 24/7 - 365 days.
the pancake here is really tastyļ¼this place is near the rocks market,it is great to take a work after dinner ~ gonna come here again, but the service need to improve!
Wow I'm impressed!!!
Totally in love with their seafood crepes š The pancakes were alright š Staff were super attentive, and they smiled all the time even though it was so busy on a Sunday's night (on Easter as well)!
My phone ran out of battery so I got no photos of food š (I'll add later when I come back next time!) Anyway I did take some photos of the setting of the restaurant (nice ambience btw!) and the entrance š
Definitely coming back to try the rest on their menu š
I canāt resist the pancakes here! They are sooooo damn thick and fluffy and the toppings make it even better. I havenāt ever tried the savoury options since Iām a sucker for their bananarama. If youāre into thick batter pancakes you definitely have to give these a go.

Delicious food, fluffy pancakes, rich toppings. The serving sizes were generous and the milkshakes too big to consume. Thoroughly enjoyed breakfast here, the ambiance was nice and the service friendly. Only thing is the sweet pancakes were very rich.
It seems to be the most popular restaurant in Sydney. There are always lines outside so if you want to be seated quickly, making reservations is recommended. I usually go there for beef ribs because it is yummy and full sized. Though it is called Pancakes, pancakes there are much inferior to the beef ribs. Their beef ribs are actually the best seller.
Too famous to comment on anything. The overall food and service is nice, the only problem is itās too popular that always long queue outside with some empty tables inside. Guess they are understaffed so they canāt serve all customers at one time.
Came here after a fun night of learning at the observatory. Great all night place with a fun vibe.
Loved the pork ribs here! And of course, the Nutella pancakes!
Mains were decent. A little pricey. Dessert was ok. At times too sweet. One time I got the lemon meringue pancake. Regretted it. Fake lemon sauce and store brought meringue crushed up. The staff at the Rocks outlet very professional.
The original pancakes on the rocks. Staff were top notch, great service.
Food was delicious. The crepes look small but are very filling.
Mexican potatoes pancake was alright. Strong flavours with the salsa. The pancakes are very filling.
But overall good food, decent prices
Great service. Good food. Best location, close to the iconic Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House. Price is worth every penny. Any concern/issues you got, they do their best to rectify it.
My partner and I came here over the weekend because our local Pancakes closed a while back. I have been craving the chicken and mushroom crepe for ages now, so I ordered them here. Unfortunately they didnāt taste the same for some reason :(
The crepe was still good however but I wouldnāt order them again. It was a little boring and I feel the filling was lacking. My bf loved his dish and I loved my iced tea.
If you can handle waiting in line itās not a bad place to visit :)
We came here for breakfast and were surprised that the place was slightly empty.
We ordered the Pancake N' Scrambled Eggs, with bacon & Italian Sausages on the side.
The buttermilk pancakes were fluffy and not so sweet. Loved it! Their bacon & Italian sausages were cooked well and were juicy.
Their coffee is sadly not so great.
The Pancakes are very delicious. I ordered a chocolate peanut butter with ice-cream for dessert, and it was mouth watering good. The chocolate mixed with peanut butter is very delicious and combine with the ice cream took the whole thing to the next level. šššš
Pancakes and the ribs is a must try. Will definitely come back next time I visit Sydney šš
Pancakes are top notch favourites here. Great place to have brunch and good service provided by the staff members. The food was delightful and rich. The overall ambience of the place was cosy.
Spacious and quick service.
Great for breakfast.
We had the
- Aussie Sunrise: was a bit skeptic of the pineapple but it fits right in
- Bananarama: one of their best sellers and it didnāt disappoint!
I wouldnāt come here for their steak as it wasnt good when I tried few months back.
