We came for the Tomahawk promotion ($99 for a 1.2kg Tomahawk Steak) and were pleasantly surprised by the superlative dining experience it turned out to be. The hero of the menu is, no doubt, the steaks - these guys really know and respect their steaks, from the way they are stored (in specialty fridges for dry ageing meats) to the way they are prepared and cooked. The result is a flavoursome, tender, juicy steak. If steak is not your thing however, don’t worry, the menu is extensive and every taste is catered for. Service was attentive and personable - we were looked after well. Overall, a very enjoyable experience and will be back with more friends!

Great experience. Cute little blankets to keep you warm. Mysha and the staff on 10th June were amazing. Weekdays $20 corona buckets (5 beers). Kids pasta delicious, Garlic bread delicious. We had 1.2kg tomahawk, discounted to $99 weekdays cooked medium & was cooked perfectly! Sides great, sauces could be better but over all fantastic experience. Would dine again & definitely recommend. We forgot to order cigars at the end, I think we were too full 😂🤤

One of the best steakhouses in Sydney. We enjoyed our first experience at the “Element Bar and Grill” and will definitely go back a lot. The food was really good and cooked to perfection! In addition, I have to mention that the gentleman who seemed to be the owner of the restaurant, was also very helpful welcoming, and for sure one of the reasons that we enjoyed our time here. Great service, delicious food. The portion was quite generous. I ordered squid for entree. It was really fresh and delicious. The steak cooked perfectly. I normally like to eat steak with sauce, but this steak was full of flavour and don't need condiment.

The meat cuts were delicious and beautifully cooked, which is one of the main points of this restaurant. However, I believe they could do a better job to engage with us before cutting the meat in front of us. For example, on our table the cheff took the tomahawk from the kitchen and straight away started to cut it on the side of our table without even saying hi. If the whole experience is to see what he does with a meat cut you should be engaged and participate in the process, that would make it a better experience. I would recommend this place if you like big meat cuts but you need to be quick with your phone to record the cutting or otherwise you will miss it

It was my first visit and certainly will NOT be my last. From the arrival to my Afogado desert, it was a very enjoyable evening night out. Good steak, well prepared and cook to perfection, nice environment, very practical gas heaters, warm hospitality, service with a Great smile, I cannot fault it .....except when I need to pay, I also paid with appreciation of such good work, great team! We booked this restaurant for our EOFY celebrations as we heard the food was good so we thought to try it for ourselves. We had a set menu and ordered salads. Every single thing we ordered was fantastic and delicious. The service was great. We will definitely be back again soon.

Busy restaurant with great outdoor alfresco dining. Bookings are recommended. Service was good, had a complimentary round of bubbles for my wife and I as we had to wait for our pre-booked table upon arrival. Kids menus was always a bonus for the little ones. Kids had the chicken pasta and fried chicken cubes. Meals were delicious and well worth the wait!

Well for me it was mostly the service that was not up to the mark. Firstly, the servers didn't know where table numbers were so they were just walking and wondering around carrying plates of food. So when your food gets to your table, it was cold.<br/><br/>Secondly, I ordered sirloin steak, medium rare, which was recommended by one of the server. When it came out, it came out medium to well-done. So I sent it back to the kitchen.And almost 15-20mins later, someone finally came out to ask me what was wrong with my steak.<br/><br/>Finally, not sure if they could not handle large crowds or not, but we sat there all night with empty bottle of water and drinks, wanted to order more drinks but just simply could not get any servers attention.

Good service, excellent menu and great food. Diner for 3. Staff were unfailingly polite and helpful, even as the night grew busier. Menu choices were reasonably standard for a hotel steakhouse, but plenty of options with lots of extras. Drinks menu was truly a standout, excellent craft beers.<br/><br/>Food itself was all well cooked and well portioned. Steak was spot on, ribs and wings were generous and tasty, children's meal was a decent size. <br/><br/>Price was cheap, but given overall quality and quantity, was comfortably in line with expectations. Having a number of beers on a very reasonable special was helpful as well.

The overall experience was great, the service staff was very attentive and explained the menu well for our first time visit. Steaks was awesome and the portion is surprisingly big. Restaurant ambiance is charming.

We were made to feel welcome from the moment we walked in the door to the moment we left. <br/>The food was awesome as you would expect from a restaurant of this standing. It was plentiful as well. A burger is placed inside a glass dome filled with smoke, is the most unique way to present a burger to your table. This strong theatrical quality not only to give a wow effect but also adds extra smoky flavour to the burger. The wagyu beef patty of my Primal Smoked Burger was juicy & flavoursome, accompanied by cheesy portabello mushroom, mustard aioli & their famous habanero bbq sauce. The glossy soft & fluffy charcoal brioche bun was perfect canvas for any burger. 😋 <br/><br/>Wanted to try their Sous Vide Beef Short Rib but the waiter said they were all sold out during the week. 😔 Apparently they cook a batch every Monday and they sell it until it finishes in that week. Better ring up and ask if you are seriously craving for beef ribs. So we ordered Grilled Chicken Breast instead. Surprisingly it was cooked to perfection even tho they are specialised in steaks. The chicken was moist & succulent. There were two generous sized of breast fillets sitting on nutmeg mashed potato, decorated with chorizo & a soft portabello mushroom cooked in garlic & butter. Their mashed potato was different to others, it was rather coarse in texture & full of greased. I prefer the old fashioned creamy & velvety style better. 😙

Yum!! My rump steak was SO good. The host/server (manager ;) ) was so friendly! The garlic-butter portabella cap was delicious, too. The side of triple-cooked thick cut potatoes really was only 3 wedges, which caught me a bit by surprise - tasted good enough, though. (I'll sub it out for something else, next time.) My husband's drunken bacon burger was tasty, but he was wishing he'd ordered a steak, too! His fries were good. We'll be returning for their all-you-can-eat sirloin, alright!

If you are a steak fan you absolutely need to come to this place. They truly know how to treat their meat and cook it to perfection. Absolutely delicious! Got their tomahawk with a groupon voucher and was so impressed at what came out. The gentleman was extremely polite and came over to cut our meat in front of us. Such great craftsmanship, you could tell he knew what he was doing. The meat was extremely tender and melted in my mouth. It was an absolute delight to eat. The triple cooked wedges were also delicious. They had a strong punch of potato on the inside but had a nice crunchy crisp layer on the outside. I’ll definitely be back here. The owner/manager was great, he told us about other vouchers which they had running and was really pleasant to talk to. Highly recommend coming to this place.

Had a 1kg steak with 4 sides by using Groupon voucher. We ordered medium rare but came out a bit over cooked, more like medium; the portions of the sides were smaller then we thought, but it’s ok. It’s average steak, not sure why other people have rated 4 stars, maybe they ordered something else.

Went here last night with my boyfriend and absolutely loved the food and the service provided by the boss! <br/><br/>We had the signature steak on stone, rump steak and the deviled chicken and chorizo smoked burger. We don’t often finish all our food but demolished the whole lot. <br/><br/>It was a little busy but the food came out quickly and the service provided by the boss and bar staff made our meal worthwhile. <br/><br/>We’ve already raved about this place to our friends and will definitely be coming back. Definitely an 11/10 experience!<br/>

Made a booking for 8:45 for Valentine’s Day with the mrs. Got there literally right on time and there was no table ready to go for us so we were asked to take a seat at the bar until something was organised. 15 minutes later, we finally had a table. We made an order for food at 9:15. The 1KG shared Sirloin steak to be exact with two different starters. The expected wait time was 40 minutes which was reasonable for a 1KG steak, however we had the option for them to cook it in the kitchen then bring it out on a hot plate and continue cooking in front of us. We told them to just get it all done in the kitchen ready to eat as soon as it comes out. 1 hour passes, no food yet. Just the Sangria we had ordered. 90 minutes later, they finally bring out the starters which were as simple as bread with oil and oregano and Haloumi fries which only needed about 10 mins max. Regardless, starters were nice or we were just so damn hungry at this point. We’re sitting and notice the time is 10:45 and we still don’t have our food. The waiter eventually comes up to us and tells us there’s been some problems in the kitchen and the food will be out shortly (probably just forgot about us). Anyways, the food doesn’t come out until 11:15. YES 11:15PM. I should have listened to the mrs and just left and gone and gotten some Maccas because to my surprise, the steak wasn’t even fully cooked because they had to come and place it on a hot plate in front of us to continue cooking it. Regardless, meat wasn’t that great. Everything else was fine however I know now I would have enjoyed the Maccas meal much more. They did however give me a discount of 20% of the total bill which still wasn’t worth anything that night. Don’t see myself visiting again or recommending to anyone.

I never write a review, but this restaurant amazed me with the value, price and most importantly taste of food. The t-bone, beef ribs and BURGERS were soo soooo soooo unbelievably delicious! We were already extremely full but couldn’t resist another burger! For kids they give a big portion of pasta, juice and ice cream just for $10. Would definitely recommend this place!

Been there last night with a few friends. We ordered a custom 2.5 kilo cut of their wagyu rump steak. And oh my god.. what a steak that was. Cooked to perfection... the meat was just melting in my mouth. Also great selection of sides. Truly one of the best steakhouses around. The staff were very helpful with our custom requests. Excellent service. Coming back soon to celebrate my birthday with more friends.

Darlinghurst local boutique steak house<br/><br/>Place:<br/>Located on Palmer street, Darlinghurst, little gem for local to have a good quality steak, and specializing on dry age meat.<br/>They put on display, process of aging meat on temperature & humidity control fridges.<br/><br/>Service:<br/>Above and beyond!<br/>Maybe they are not expecting busy Wednesday night, only 2 people serving ( 1 of them is owner, I’m assuming) and total of approximate 20-25 people dine in on that night.<br/><br/>We had party of 3 plus 1 kid and next table, party of 10, and couple of table for 2. Service a little slow however we don’t event mind it, because of of the guy constantly checking on every table and have a nice little chat with us.<br/><br/>Food and Drink:<br/>white sangria to share, nice refreshing and delish!<br/><br/>Spicy squid ink pasta was delicious, enough heat but not overpowering, you can see chunks of rice tomato too sautéed together.<br/><br/>Steak and Ribs combo:<br/>Sous vide beef ribs was awesome, we are keep saying how tender it was and the glaze of their home made sauce was sticky, finger licking good!<br/>Recommended to everyone whom are beef eater.<br/>Sirloin to me a little tough, but taste was good.<br/> <br/>Sides was awesome, my favorite among all of side I’ve try was the mashed potato with nutmeg and mascarpone cheese.<br/><br/>Strawberry cream brûlée was slightly expensive, for the size they are serving, <br/>I’m not complaining here, but they can upgrade the size a little bit more.<br/>Served with strawberry liquor and fresh strawberries.<br/><br/>Finally coffee!<br/>Picollo was cute and serve in tiny glass, I’m guessing 4 oz, slightly smaller than regular Picollo glass.<br/><br/>It was a great dining experience.<br/>Oh, they give my nice free scoop of ice cream too.😁<br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/><br/>

The flavour of this dish was unreal! <br/><br/>Featuring the Charcoal smoked Wagyu beef patty burger with an extra piece of juicy mouth watering steak slided in between the buns thanks to @foodcoma_eats innovative add on. It does look like a proper delicious burger ! <br/><br/>Don’t forgot to check out there insane kilo STEAK! Elements bar & grill is a refined yet casual dining experience. Great staff who are always up for a chat or laugh, very hospitable and I can’t speak more highly of their impressive menu and quality of food. To start we had some wine of course, a good selection here and also good variety of beer on tap too. We had the cream of asparagus soup and squid ink Linguine with pipis and the bone marrow.<br/> <br/><br/>The Tomahawk steak, smoked burger & squid ink Linguine are worth visiting for!!!

We went there last night on a Cudo voucher - very glad we did! The food was terrific. Can't say I've had a tomahawk steak before, but this was brilliant. Slow cooked for 24 hours and it was so tender. The folks working there were so friendly and helpful as well. Thanks for a great dinner, keen to get back sometime soon.

Love this venue. Elegant decor and great ambience throughout. <br/>The seating area is mostly outdoor and it was a beautiful day when I came so sitting outdoor was perfect.<br/>I tried several dishes on my visit and my favourite savoury dishes had to be the bone marrow and the steak. Everything was perfectly cooked without being over-seasoned so I could really taste the natural flavours. <br/>The highlight for me was the desserts. I loved their affogato, tiramisu and creme brulee. Coffee was awesome too.

Had Sunday lunch there last weekend. The service was great but the food and beers were a disappointment . . .to say the least. Firstly of the 8 beers they had on tap they had sold out of all but 2 - a lemon lime beer and a stout. The only bottle beer they had was Corona - skipped the beers and ordered wine. Pre ordered the 1.2kg tomahawk steak the day before so that it would be slow cooked for 24 hours. What arrived looked great, but when it was cut there were large pieces of raw, unrendered fat, which was unexpected if it was pre-cooked. They provided a stone to help cook it more but this proved ineffective so they took away what was left and attempted to re-cook it. The thrice cooked chips (read wedgies) were also undercooked on the inside, although very crispy on the outside.<br/>The duck fat potatoes were very nice, pity about the rest.

Went there on a Saturday afternoon for early dinner, we used a groupon discount and booked the table at 4pm for 2, the waiter wanted us to sit inside by the wall but we asked if we could have a table outside. Although its a little cold outside but its much brighter and we liked it. However, after we sat down, it seemed like none of the waiters were paying attention to us and we waited for more than 10minutes and no one brought us the menu or any water, so I got up and grabbed the menu from their front desk myself. It took a while for all the food to come out and after the main dishes it took forever to get our dessert since they completely forgot our order.<br/>We ordered the calamari for entree and i found it rather oily, and the batter was not as crispy as i expected.<br/>The ribs and burger came out amazing, the ribs are tender and juicey and so flavourful, seasoned well, the patty in the burger was tasty and the chips are hot and crispy, we added a few prawns to the ribs and they were okay.<br/>The asaragus were awful, drenched in oil and so overcooked that they are almost mushy, i mean the worst asparagus I've ever had.<br/>The rocket salad was just average as well.<br/>We ordered strawberry creme brulee and nothing special there.<br/>Also the red Sangaria was nice too with fresh strawberries.<br/>Overall, really enjoyed the meat, will definetely be back for the ribs and try some steaks next time, but wont go for the veggies again.

Top notch food with top notch service !!! Tomahawk steak and steak on the stone were divine and could be rated as one of the best in Sydney. My son also love his burger. The other one did not like his schnitzel but both love their chips that was cooked three times. Highly recommended for steak lovers like us.

Try this bar and Grill for saturdate early dinner. Try their bone marrow as entree. So good. <br/>The mains i choosed the Scotch fillet and rump steak. <br/>Its quite fine but we Asked to get the medium rare, but the Scotch fillet served rare and the rump is well done. One is overcooked and other not cooked enough😅😅. <br/>The meat as well not really been Seasoning but Its quite okay. Like the location and ambience but need improvement for the Food. 🤗

We were a bit sceptical of trying this place as it wasn’t well known and we had a Groupon voucher but we were very surprised and walked out full and happy. <br/><br/>First thing we have to note and mentioned by diners next to us was the service from all their staff. So friendly and accommodating that my husband made sure we left a tip.<br/><br/>When we walked in, we were surprised at how busy the restaurant was even though we were dining early as well as the serving sizes. We walked out so full! The highlight of the dinner was their signature bone marrow which was a generous serving for the price,so rich and delicious. My husband opted for the sous vide beef ribs which were fall apart tender with nice spicy kick with their habanero sauce. I enjoyed my crab pappardelle but we had to take away half as I was getting so full and I wanted to try their desserts.<br/><br/>I opted for their tiramisu and my husband went for their sticky date pudding. We both couldn’t finish it as we were so full but it was a delicious dinner and we would definitely come back to try some of their other dishes on the menu.

Ordered the sous vide steak medium rare, turned out very dry and tough. A bit pricey as well - $9 for a side of 4pieces of mushrooms. It’s a good place for drinks, as the ambience is quite nice, but don’t go here for the food.

Wonderful experience at this hidden surprise in the backstreets of Darlinghurst. The BLT burger was perfect, not too big to handle but great flavours and perfectly cooked. The variety of tap beers was impressive as well.<br/>The highlight of this place is the service, very friendly family atmosphere with a very gracious and welcoming host. <br/>A must for a great burger and beer!
