Really nice cafe that has great staff serving even better food. The waiters were really helpful with recommending meals and very patient. The food was quick to come out and did not leave me unsatisfied. Tasted great and there was plenty of food to share with my dining partner. Will definitely tell my friends about this place and be returning to get some more great tasting meals !

The food was decent but the service was amazing. That feel when you're received with a smile on a weekday morning - it's totally different. Bonafides is our regular joint for a quick meeting before work. Food - frankly there's nothing eye catching or different, but tastes decent. Coffee- good job done. Will come again for those quick meetings over coffee and breakfast.

Nice, little spot for dinner. Quiet and casual. The service was OK, and the meals were great. My companion ordered the vegetable pasta in a tomato based sauce and that was cooked to perfection. I had the king prawns served in a creamy garlic sauce and saffron pilaf. Super tasty and they didn't skimp on the prawns for sure!

We went using an online voucher so it was super good value. Check out their menu online for the standard pricing. We had the calamari and Caesar salad as entrees which were both excellent. For mains, we had the barramundi and Barcelona prawn spaghetti which were both really tasty! The spaghetti was slight spicy but not too intense. We had the tiramisu and brownie for dessert which was nice (brownie was preferred). The portions were perfect. Dessert portion was perfect for us but some may find it a bit small. Service was excellent. We sat outside in the laneway which was nice.

one of the best experience we had in this cafe. went for family dinner and it was amazing. food was unforgettable. had some stake, grilled fish and some pasta as mains and also some amazing entree. friendly staff. and more off the best think was great coffee. will be there soon. keep up the good work

Decor is okay and that is what drew me in first and then the waitress who hawked me off the street as I looked over the specials board. I had the guacamole chicken. Bloody good, so a tick for the food. Lemon lime and bitters out of a bottle is no substitute for the real thing though and the coffee is a little wanting of strength of character. So no tick there.
Overall a good cafe restaurant. With a little tweaking I think it could punch above its weight rather than being a cafe serving posh food.

I ordered the salmon linguine and although the food tasted decent, I couldn't say the same for the environment there.
I'm not sure if it was due to the seasonal changes but there were so so many flying ants hovering over the tables which made the experience quiet unenjoyable. I had to wave them away from my food every few seconds to avoid accidentally eating one of them.

amazing atmosphere. friendly staff and great food. loved the cafe right middle of the Sydney CBD. Been here few time already with my husband and we loved the place. Definitely will come back. highly recommended.
