Saturday 07.04.18 I had my engagement at Cafe Morso and I could not recommend a better place.. Andy and his staff were so accommodating, friendly and very attentive.. the food and atmosphere was amazing. No one their was left hungry or thirsty.
The venue was perfect for our special night.
We wanted some where different open space close to the water good food at a reasonable price this place was was perfect great service great food better than most places in balmain Alexandria new town glebe
In fact it's going to be our special place to take family and friends from out of town. 10/10

I would like to extend our thanks to the awesome staff at Cafe Morso who were there to assist when our little boy starting vomiting unexpectedly all over the cafe floor. They hastily cleaned the mess, provided takeaway containers for our partially eaten breakfast, they were extremely accommodating.....
Apart from this experience we have now dined at the Cafe on numerous occasions for breakfast and the food and service have always been fantastic. Also, very accommodating of young children.

A nearby cafe by the water with great coffee, an exciting menu, reasonably priced and great service should become a haunt - and Cafe Morso has ! And they don't rush you. It works for most demographics and fur babies too. Over our few visits with friends from interstate and further away, this place knows how to deliver. We've worked our way through most of the weekend brunch menu and the only request I've ever had is to substitute the tostada that is served with the juniper cured salmon with sourdough bread. And I wish there was an option of just chopped fresh red chilies with the barramundi hash. Just a few tweaks and its right down my alley ! Go often !
The last time I visited, I had the linguine with mushrooms, soft egg yolk, pecorino foam and fresh shaved WA black truffle. The sauce is thick and creamy, and the linguine is cooked to perfection. If you see it on the specials board, you must get it!

I tried this delightful Cafe for breakfast on the recommendation of a friend. It is right on the water in Pyrmont, a short walk from the casino. Very friendly service, great coffee and a fresh tasty meal for breakfast.

Haven't been to Cafe Morso for a while but we will certainly be back again soon. The food & service were great. Staff were attentive & eager to please. The guy I liaised with on the phone regarding our booking was lovely too.
It was Mother's Day so it was busy but our food came out quickly - cooked to perfection. I ordered scrambled eggs with sides, and my husband had the truffled scrambled eggs. Eggs were delicious & cooked really well. Sonoma bread was also yum. Good value too given the quality of produce that was served up.
We had our toddler and baby with us. Family friendly place with high chairs provided.
Service was great. Staff kept an eye on water glasses and were very responsive. Could not fault our experience here. Delicious food & top notch service. Highly recommended - Thank you!
One of my favourite brunch/lunch joints in Sydney, this is a beautiful and relaxing waterfront cafe. Food is consistently tasty, lovely service from the staff, although they can get overwhelmed during peak hours. My favourite dish is the cured salmon and avocado. Would always come back for more!
Great outdoor brunch place in Pyrmont on the wharf. We ordered the truffled eggs and cured salmon and the hash browns/chorizo! Will be back to try more of the menu and maybe a few drinks next time....
A wonderful lunch - the fish of the day was well served and cooked, the variety of entrees that we shared were tasty and our waitress was helpful and informative. Nice place, nice view and atmosphere, good food and good service

Just had a wonderful Tuesday brunch at Cafe Morso. I am not a huge fan of brunch but this one is an exception. We ordered truffled scrambled egg, gnocchi, and the rissoto. It was delightful! The portion is just perfect for us. This place is definitely one of my favorite place to brunch. Ah, also bot to forget the staffs were so friendly and nice. Cafe Morso located on jones bay wharf is a lovely place to enjoy a weekend breakfast. It was very busy when we arrived for Sunday brunch but with ample seating, we managed to nab a small table with a view of boats gently bobbing on the water.
Our servers while flat out were polite and had character, recommending options based on our preferences and hunger level.
We ordered chai tea with steamed soy, truffled omelette with haloumi and smoked ham risotto .
Our chai was nice thought I would have enjoyed a stronger flavour. The biggest challenge was actually our roulette style table that kept rotating on us as we tried to pour out our tea.
My truffled egg, mushrooms and fried parsley with Sonoma bread was very tasty and filling.
The risotto was good but we got a few cartilaginous bits of smoked ham we couldn't chew and had to pick out if our mouths which was a little unpleasant. All the other aspects of our meal were faultless .
They had highchairs and there are opportunities to accomodate wheelchairs and prams but book ahead. Would return

This is a nice cafe by the Pyrmont pier that does brunch, we ordered the scrambled eggs with mushroom on sourdough toast, the risotto and the poached eggs with spinach.

My wife had the truffled scramble eggs,it wasn't really scrambled but she was expecting it to taste a little better

Best scrambled egg with truffled mushroom. Always order this menu every time i come to this cafe and never got bored of it. The scrambled egg was cooked to perfection, it was light and creamy, and melts in your mouth. The mushroom was seasoned really well.
Really nice view and location, because its a bit far from other places so you do not have to queue to long during busy hours.
Great place, good service. The best risotto i've ever had in my life. Other foods are so so but you wont regret their pork risotto. Fresh orange juice went well with that.
Ate here on a weekend, the food was very delicious, will definitely return. The lunch menu is very good. The only thing i would have liked for them to improve on is if they had fresh pressed juice made within the restaurant, and not from a pre-packed bottle from a supplier.

Pokemon Go! Everyone is on it nowadays, including meee!! So my friends and I decided to talk a walk from Circular Quay to Darling Harbour to Catch'em all Right ;P. We made a stop at Cafe Morso since the sister has been blabbing about how good the foods are and Im curious too.. . The place is situated far from the crowd and offers a harbour view dining. It was packed on Sunday morning and but we still managed to get a table.
This is a very pleasant spot with friendly staff - great for a post walk brunch. I had the breakfast risotto with smoked pork, and while enjoyable it just didn't have the wow factor or depth of flavour I was looking for. More smokiness or truffle required. Liked the idea though, and I'd give it another go.
The place that def makes me keep coming back. Excellence service and venues. Suitable to spend a day with good view as well, just next to pyrmont wharf. Cafés always change the menu but it still the best. Cheers!
Cafe Morso is a regular spot of mine. There is no better way to start the morning than sitting on the wharf with a coffee and a yummy breakfast over looking the water. I usually dine at Morso for breakfast, but recently caught up with friend for lunch. For breakfast I opt for scrambled eggs with avocado or the muesli. For lunch I had the roasted pumpkin - incredible flavors through the dish.
Food here is amazing, only using the best products. Location great. Service generally good although at times they become a bit overwhelmed when busy.
This place is amazing, enough said. If you do a Google search, you'll see Tetsuya gives this place the thumbs up and it's easy to see why. Great location (top views), friendly staff and food worthy of some fine restaurants. My gnocchi was a hand-made bliss that put some Italian joints to shame. And all for incredible value.

Paid a visit here for a birthday brunch/lunch. The trek up to the end of Pyrmont got me extremely hungry and ordered the Gruyere Risotto. It was nice but slightly bland for my liking, perhaps the other food on the menu would have suited my taste more.
We wanted to book the entire cafe for an evening private function, but after the initial contact the owner dropped out of communication and was not responsive at all. That created some bitter taste considering we were keen to offer him our business. Thank god things patched up and it soon became water under the bridge. We ended up having our event there with maximum capacity of 50 guests. People couldn't stop praising how attentive services were and how generous amount of food and drinks were. You wouldn't expect such a small cafe could deliver such professional fine-dining like food options. The owner and his staff delivered very personable services and had great attention to details. The whole night was a great success and everyone enjoyed immensely.
We went back the next day to pick up some stuff left there overnight, the staff recognised us straight away and offered us free coffees. I am glad we chose Cafe Morso for our event and thank the owner and his team for the great night.
This was my first stop in Sydney and I was staying just next to Darling harbour this was a close place for breakfast.
This place is located in quiet place away from all the other cafes. The beginning of the way you might just doubt Google maps but keep walking in and you will be surprised.
I really dint want to have a big breakfast but just enjoy the place as I was not really hungry. So I decided to have the club sandwich. I must say it tasted yumm and fresh. Freshness started with the two slice of thick bread to the ingredients in between. The chicken the mayo and the dried herbs everything was really tasty and the best part it was under 8 dollars. Now that definitely says something about the store.
I would say you must definitely have ur one meal here. If not for anything just for the ambiance.

Couple of months ago I visited this place on my quick visit to Sydney. The breakfast was made fresh with the most freshest ingredients available. Great atmosphere and service, however our dishes weren't as great as expected. Slightly bland and was lacking the excitment we were hoping for. Maybe we selected the wrong dishes?... Or maybe the luck of the draw. Good but not overly impressed.
Close to the water and in a quiet part of town, Cafe Morso is a reliable and pretty place for brunch. The staff are friendly and you should make a booking to avoid disappointment on werkends. I had the barramundi special that was juicy and crispy skinned. The accompanying scallops were sweet and the greens were tender.
I was disappointed with the deconstructed cheesecake with nutella and oreo. It was a dessert with an identity disorder - three scoops of filling with some oreo crumbs. The nutella scoop was off the hook, the weird marscapone scoop had little flavour and the third scoop was banana icecream that wasnt mentioned and, as I thoroughly dislike banana, I didn't appreciate. Don't bother with this one but other desserts in the past have been good.
Great place for breakfast if you are looking to impress visitors with Pyrmont due to its wharf / waterfront location. Not your standard breakfast fair either (smoked pork risotto as an example) with some interesting dishes albeit they are smaller serving sizes. Had the gnocchi dish wish was very nice but too small for me. Partner had the risotto which she also enjoyed. Coffee and service is good. Great for a sunny day.
A great cafe at a great location (being by the water on a sunny day is a great bonus). Use to work around the area and loved going here every lunch for their sandwiches and coffee (inconsistent sometimes). Now that I've changed jobs, the one thing I miss about Pyrmont is the Cafe so I try visit once a month with family for breakfast.
Beautiful location with a great view, lots of different breakfast options including bacon gnochi, orange pancakes and Israeli baked eggs. Service is good but could use a little bit of a polish.

Located along Jones Bay Wharf and within a short stroll from The Star Casino, lies Cafe Morso waterfront to beautiful harbour views. The casual cafe is a local favourite, bustling during the weekdays with business people and filled during the weekend of family and friends. Knowing how busy it can get on a Sunday morning, C and I cleverly made a booking beforehand to secure a table for brunch. No waiting line, no time wasting! The availability of bookings immediately gave this cafe bonus points!
Like like like! The service was good. Location was good! Food was good!! The only little imperfect was the portion. It was a bit small. But still they were all good. Yum yum.. Will definitely go back again.

Great ambience and view from here! The staffs were friendly and quick. I had the dish from the special menu which was the Pappardelle with Mushroom Ragout, Tomatoes and Pistachio. The pasta was cooked al dente. The ragout was full of flavour and the mushrooms were very fresh! Make sure to order it if it is back on the special menu.
Possibly my favourite dish right now, the smoked pork & gruyere risotto is smack bang everything I like about Italian-esque food. Soft, creamy rice that isn’t mushy, delicious chunks of well-seasoned pork, cheese, and in a French twist – hollandaise on top. The Aussie twist? A poached egg on top!
Cafe Morso is a great brunch spot, not just for its pretty views overlooking the waters behind Jones Bay Wharf, but also because the food is spot on. Our baked eggs and breakfast risotto were both delicious. The risotto was especially memorable - rice studded with smoked pork and spinach, topped with hollandaise and a perfectly poached egg. Comfort food at its finest. It was a cool day but we still opted to sit outdoors and enjoy the peaceful morning views. Perfect spot to take visitors with its unique menu and waterfront setting.
Love this place, it's a fave. My partner and I love this place and always bring friends along to check it out. The menu changes fairly often so there's always something new and delish to try. Breakfast is probably when we go the most of the time and we alway book a table on the weekend to avoid waiting, it's just so popular.

Upon arrival, my friend asked the waitress what her favourite menu item/s were in which she replied the bacon and egg gnocchi. I took her word for it and after I took my first bite, I immediately understood why. This dish was really rich but it was so damn delicious! The gnocchi had a great texture, egg was perfectly poached and thick slices of toast helped soak up the bacon & truffle salt infused oil. Something worth ordering if you enjoy a fairly heavy brunch.

I’ll admit i got slightly lost on my first visit and may have walked in a circle the first time i came here a few years ago. But incase you wanted to know, its next to Flying Fish restaurant and it’s located on a wharf so its a great place to visit on a sunny day. Ironically, 8 out of 10 times i’ve been it was raining. But believe me, no amount of rain will stop me from eating a good egg dish. Theres outdoor seating and indoor seating, whichever you prefe
And not forgetting the smoked pork and gruyere risotto with poached egg and hollandaise sauce... I don't remember ever having risotto for breakfast but it felt right! The food was served with Himalayan pink salt, which we love for its acclaimed goodness... Just as we were devouring our food, Daz kept saying let's get another dish because this is so good...

...I took a stroll down by Pyrmont and popped into Cafe Morso for breakfast. I’d been eyeing them out since the first time we wandered past. The location itself, on Jones Bay Wharf, is amazing – but what caught my eye was all the beautifully plated food, even at breakfast! And you see what I mean right? Check out Panu’s breakfast above – soft scrambled egg with onion pisaladier, roast red peppers, goats cheese mousse and fine herb salad , and mine below – bacon and egg gnocchi with baby herbs and truffle oil . Ok fine, mine is not as pretty as his but still . It tasted fawking awesome and just look at that puddle ocean of butter or whatever it is swim

Nice brunch spot...but not filling enough. I am a local and love brunch so was keen to try this cafe. The menu looked impressive (good range of interesting options).
I tried a few dishes (as I am a seagull at mealtimes). The French toast brioche (with apple/cherry compote and marscapone - $16) was what I ordered (but I asked for it with maple syrup rather than cherry which wasn't a problem). When it came out, I thought they missed half the meal! It was a tiny scroll with a dollop of marscapone and syrup...I was wondering where the compote was till I discovered it was inside the tiny scroll. It was tasty but nowhere near filling enough. I had to eat another breakfast when I got home.
Friends with me got bacon and eggs ($15) - bacon was nice and generous, eggs were cooked as ordered, but the toast wasn't that great. Portion was quite small. And the other got the pork and fennel risotto with poached egg ($18). The poached egg was quite slimy and the risotto lacked some flavour. It was, again, a tiny portion and he ate another meal shortly after leaving.
The highlight was the shake! $5 for the creamiest, yummiest caramel shake in the old-fashioned metal glass. I had major shake-envy!! (and was only allowed a few sips!). Keep making those and I will be back for brunch and shakes....mmmm.
All in all, pleasant spot and nice food...the muffins/pastries on the counter also looked nice. Just wished for bigger portions commensurate with the cost of the meals.
