A small cosy venue with good food and drinks accompanied by good service, the gentleman waiter accommodated my daughter who is vegan by preparing something she thoroughly enjoyed, will definitely recommend this place.
Genuine and friendly service, fabulous coffee, fab menu and consistent high quality food! A must visit if on holidays as we were. If I lived locally it would certainly be my regular ! X
It's famous for the lobster benedict but I found the abalone benedict is better, more to my liking. The abalone is so soft and tender, full of flavour.
Hot chocolate was awesome — dark chocolate with rose petals. It had layers of flavour! And the servings are HUGE! The staff were really friendly too.
No wonder it is always busy, food is amazing! Don't be discouraged by the wait, it is worth it. As a local, I believe is it also one of the best coffee of Surry Hills. Take away is always an option... I reckon it is one of my weekend guilty pleasure
I've just had a Bosphorus Benedict and may have found my new favourite eatery. Lobster on a benny? Don't mind if I do! I recommend adding a side of sauteed mushrooms. The tomato scrambled eggs is next on my list. This could become a weekly engagement oh-so-easily.
It was my first visit to this lovely place.I was happy with the service, well presented.the food was great!
Loved it - beautiful setting, great friendly staff, amazing food and coffee 🖤
The lobster benedict was the best thing I had in a long time! Lovely staff as well!
Well done with the taste and presentation! Generous with the truffle too on their eggs. 😍
Best ever brunch....lobster benedict and traditional benedict awesome. Loved the Turkish lemonade soda too.
Charming little cafe, great food, beautifully presented & friendly fast service, special.
Great organic and vegetarian options, amazing coffee, super friendly staff and relaxing vibe. We loved everything about it.
Traveled all the way from Adelaide for Powell-Pepper and poached eggs. Absolutely bloody exquisite.
I love banana bread and Rustic pearl and friendly staff and bosses of Rustic pearl
Soooo good! The lobster breakfast dish made my day!
So delicious! The granola and avocado and poached eggs and banana bread were all incredible.
Delicious food, lovely service. Great experience! Will be back for sure.
Lamb Borek ($6.50, unfortunately cold), Vegan Bomba ($12, similar to a gozleme, hot, fresh) and epiphany cake ($6, almond meal fragipani, not too sweet, wish the pastry was crispy)
Hi guys.
Rustic pearl is a hole in the wall stop on Surrey hills for some good brunch.
The melemen was delicious and hard to keep off. Must try. The service was kind too. Ask them to make it a bit spicy and add some extra salt for the perfect kick.
I had the pumpkin salad and the people at Rustic Pearl went above and beyond to make it amazing. Packed with fresh herbs and full of flavour. By far one of the best I’ve had in a long time.
Also found it friendly service!
The place was really crowded on Sunday.I was kinda shocked because of the large size of the coffee. The lobster Benedict egg and the beef dish were really good; but the waiters were kinda pushy(?). They took our plates away immediately because there wasn’t enough plates.
The staff were friendly, attentive and accommodating. The menu was decent, with a wide variety of options, including vegan options. The meals were not only reasonably priced, but freshly prepared and delicious. The only negative was the cramped seating.
The food and staff are absolutely amazing here. Despite the line, the food came out within reasonable time. The dishes are surprisingly flavorful for cafe food and servings sizes are decent. The specials can be overpriced though
‘White Sea’ Breakfast : 😍 Amazing
Bacon Benedict : 😍 Amazing
Yoghurt & Muesli : 😁 Great
Iced Chocolate : 😁 Great
Super packed on a Sunday arvo but so worth the wait. Loved the ‘White Sea’ Breakfast with added black sausage. A little bit pricy but I think it was worth indulging in once in a while. Bacon Benedict has no complaints. Beautifully poached eggs and creamy hollandaise sauce. Muesli was basic but absolutely refreshing to have. Iced Chocolate was very much like your average iced chocolate but very nice to have on a hot day. Service was great and not a very long wait time considering it was super busy.
Love this cafe! One of my favourites. Cozy with lovely decor. The food is so flavoursome! Always recommend this place when friends ask for cafe recommendations
It was great to be to show friends from overseas, Canadians who are living in Penang, a bit of Surry Hills’s cafe culture. Our mission was to find vegan food for one of the party, and for some reason, because it’s next to Yulli’s (with its vegetarian and brewery awesomeness), I always assumed this buzzy little cafe was vegetarian too.
Have been here multiple times and almost always for the lobster Benedict. The hollandaise is light and the coriander fragrant but not overpowering. The lobster is crunchy and slightly sweet and the poached eggs are nice and runny
Have been here as of June 2019 and it appears they have changed the recipe slightly. The sauce while light, is now more buttery and has more flavor. I much preferred the coriander instead of mint and felt that there was too much avocado and too little lobster.
Cozy neighborhood cafe with amazing lamb gozleme and bacon benedict. they use Mecca coffee beans, nice coffee as well. Friendly staff. Overall, perfect for weekends elevenses. Recommend!
A lovely, cute space with an amazing selection of dishes and a neighbourhood vibe. We had the spinach gozleme and the white sea breakfast - which I’d recommend for something a bit different to the usual breakfast fare.
Surry Hills is always a good place to find great breakfast or brunch. Always busy during the brunch hours, a really good place for an exotic brunch experience
Awesome food. Worth the 45min wait hahaha
When we did order, the food came out reasonably fast. And it was delish! I had bread on a wooden board with avo, tomato and mushroom. Amazing.
A Turkish cafe with cozy environment and good service. Tried their Armenian Pastirma omelette and found it impressive. The Pastirma (the cured beef) inside had a special taste, although quite salty for me, it was good with omelette and juicy tomatoes. The green sauce was right to the point, I guess it should contain many kinds of spice, like rosemary or basil. The bread aside was good too. The second time I had the Bosphorus Benedict. It was perfect, the sauce got along well with the bay lobsters and avocados. And the red peppers won extra points. They balanced the taste and made the Benedict more refreshing.
Rustic Pearl is one of my favourite cafe in Surry Hills, but it so hard to get a table. A late late lunch for a super hot day, most of the other cafes have already packed up. Surprised they are still serving lunch & actually have a couple of free tables (not for long, filled up right after me). Cafe food with a Turkish spin, I've not had anything disappoint yet. I got the special Rose infused watermelon salad, with haloumi, roasted hazelnuts, char grilled asparagus, caper berries & mixed herbs. Words cannot describe how delicious this combo was, great mix of textures, the watermelons aside from being refreshing, it was acted as burst of dressings. Will definitely be back again.
My go-to place for brunch option, everything is so good, and have some quite unusual ingredients for brunch such as abalone and bay lobster.
This place is usually one of favourite cafes as the whole atmosphere and food is quite homey which I enjoy! However, I came here recently and the food wasn’t as amazing as usual.. but maybe because I ordered something different or a special. We ordered the abalone Benedict and the truffle gnocchi which I found a bit bland and nothing special, I think they needed a citrus element to offset the flavours. I recommend just sticking to the classics like the Bosphorus Benedict or lamb kofte. I still love the service and would definitely always come back!
Loved the lobster egg Benedict! Very tasty and beautifully presented. Rang them 20mins in advance could help to shorten waiting period and secure a table. Very friendly staff, all love dogs. Nice outside seating with shade, won’t be too bad in summer.
I like this benedict especially the source. I will definitely try other dishes on the menu next time friendly staff even small area but big portion
Have eaten here a couple of times and it’s becoming one of my faves in Surry Hills. The gozleme is pretty insane and for breakfast you must try the melemen, eggs tomato capsicum and feta.
It's a Lovely, quaint little place, wonderful for breakfast or brunch.. the staff is polite and friendly. The food is beautifully presented and tastes delicious.
A wonderful neighbourhood gem with an even more wonderful menu of Mediterranean inspired dishes. Every dish I’ve tried so far has not disappointed and was a delight. Someday I’d like to have tried everything on the menu!
really enjoy with friendly service and coffee, even awaiting time took a bit long. good cafe added in this area, my weekend food hunting area in Sydney sometimes.....
Small little place very compact in size but great staff and fantastic food. Very good coffee. The menu has a good selection of food that will suit all tastes.
Super cute place with lovely atmosphere and hipster deco with Turkish bent and fun Turkish music in the background. Staff are friendly and efficient. Water was served with mint and lemon wedges. I had the scrambled tomato eggs with goats cheese and Turkish sausages. Was full of flavor and seasoning, quite delicious. Bread was ok, though not the freshest or softness Turkish bread I’ve had. Will happily come again.
Just went for a takeaway coffee, but while we were waiting the smells from the food were amazing and numerous conversations discussing the yumminess of their breakfasts were overheard. The service was friendly and the coffee was perfect! Would love to go back to eat there, but enquirer ahead because of the waitlist!
This cozy cafe located right in the middle of the city is just mind blowing. We went for brunch and ordered for something different from the menu. After a bit of confusion about we being vegetarians, we got our food but guess what it was made vegan. Ouch! We still enjoyed it but missed the feta in our dishes. Overall a good experience though. The service and the ambience was great.
Service - 3.5/5
Ambience - 4/5
Food - 4/5
Value for Money - 4/5
Surry hills is full of brunch cafes that are hip, trendy and serve good food. This one definitely falls in the top end of that category or cafes.
I have been back to rustic pearl several times!
Came on a Friday morning at 7:30am. Not very busy dining in but some groups coming in for takeaway coffees throughout the morning.
Been wanting to come here after many friends had spread the word about the amazing Turkish styled breakfast. It is not disappoint.
Started off with a rich Turkish coffee with a side of fresh apple. I wish I could start my day off with this coffee all the time.
My partner loves cold platters for breakfast so he opted for that, I got the Bosphorus benedict. Both items had a pricey tag but was well worth it; the food is sensational.
Instagram factor: definitely worth capturing the decorative pieces. Best time to come is in the morning of that amazing light.
I love the apple rose tea here. It is a must to have on if you have a chance to sit down at this cafe. The food are quite good too. Ambience and staff were great. However, this place is too cute (small), so you might need to wait for the table (longer if you’re with bunch of friends).
Absolutely love this place, favorite all time brunch place. The food and service here never disappoints. All time favorite is the bosphorous Benedict, absolutely delightful. Quick tip. If you don’t want to wait in line you can always give the cafe a call beforehand and place your name on the list on your way there.
Cute little place with nice food and attentive staff, didn’t wait to get seated around lunch time on a weekend is pretty good too. Not too amazed with the taste tho.
Came to this lovely little gem on Saturday morning. Waited for about 15 minutes for a seat, but I guess it’s becoming common when visiting popular cafes in Sydney. All dishes are well presented and very tasty. Staff are super nice and always have smile on their faces. This is a must visit in Surry Hills.
Rustic Pearl is a cute place up Surry Hills. It has a seperate vegan menu which is surprising. I ordered for a vegetarian homemade mushroom ravioli and a Turkish Iced Tea, both these items were amazing. The place is really small, only five tables to be exact. Try reserving a table outside especially in the summer, this place is a little on the expensive side but it has Instagram-able food.
I came here on Saturday morning. There was a 15 minute wait. The presentation of each dish was made with care and love. The food was delicious and flavoursome. I loved the bowls of coffee and mochas 👌
The Agean Breakfast (4/5) was my pick. That clotted cream and honey is finger licking good! The creaminess and sweet honey when spread on the freshly toasted slices of Turkish bread was enough to make me happy. Pair it with the feta and simple slices of tomato and cucumber and you have yourself a smashing breaky!
My partner got the Lobster Eggs Benny (4.5/5) which he couldn't get enough of. Apparently the hollandaise sauce is amazing, lobster tasted fresh and tender, eggs cooked perfectly, just the right amount of avo and toast was delicious.
We will definitely coming back for more!
This place is just perfect. The food is unbelievable and the staff are incredibly friendly. We have come back 3 times this week and can’t wait to return when we are next in Sydney. Oh and the coffee is fabulous!!
Went here for a quick catch-up with sissy on Monday so it was nice and quiet. We got a nice table next to the window and some cute little pots of flowers. The cafe looks a little bit hip but in a good way. We had the lobster egg benedict and pertima omelettes. The egg benedict was just amazing! I am never a big fan of hollandaise sauce but I love the sauce here! It's not too creamy. I didn't really like the omelette. Probably I'm just not familiar with Turkish cuisine.
Staff are all so nice and friendly! Service is really fast too. I would defs come back!
Flavours were really good but definitely overpriced. Extra sausage and veal were added to each dish, however, both could have done without to save the extra charge
Lobster eggs Benedict is the must try.
Duck was amazing.
Potato eggplant gozleme was good but not amazing.
I was not a fan of the avocado espresso smoothie. The flavours just didn't seem to go together
Went here with my parents. I doubt it at first because i never tried turkish food in Sydney. Surprisingly, my parents and I love it! The lobster benedict is our favorite
We had a great and fast customer service even though it was busy on werkend. Quality and presentation of food are amazing. I strong recommend honey&cream to share! You must try menemen and pastirma&avocado on toast!
It has become one of my favourite brunch places. The Benedict’s sauce was very light in comparison to other places I’ve tried so you could still enjoy it without feeling heavy afterwards. I went around 2pm and was seated in 10 minutes, if I had gone any later the wait time would definitely have been longer because the cafe is small in size and so can’t sit a lot of people at once.
Excellent coffee and food! Had the egg white omelette with feta. It was very good. Highly recommend it!! My mate had the beef dish which was perfectly cooked.
had the scallop with poached eggs special. the sauce was slightly odd, didn't complement all the components on the dish well. each element was cooked well, but it just didn't really go well together.
If you're looking for something more than bacon and egg rolls, look no further. Rustic Pearl has a lot to offer! It has a big menu, with a twist to the classics. It was a sunny day and we got a seat outside.
We ordered the lobster egg benedict and the spinach gozleme (who knew you can have that for breakfast!). For drinks, we had espresso and Chai. The Chai came in a pot, enough for 3 cups. It was very aromatic but not overly sweet.
The food was very good, the lobster bene was scrumptious and the hollandaise sauce rich. The lobster seems fresh. It wasn't a big serving but enough. It was also a little expensive (but lobster!) but you don't get lobster bene every day.
The Gozleme doesn't have much wow factor to it, however it's not as oily and rich as the ones you normally get, which makes it an excellent breakfast option.
Easy parking on the back streets and not a long wait. Friendly staff and prompt service. Will come back soon.
Such a great experience! Food was tasty and well presented ambience is small but very cozy.Price is descent. Customer service is great and very helpful. We were the last one in the cafe but they didn't hurry us up. Good job! Highly recommended!
Amazing food! Great Service - we were welcomed and were waiting just for couple of minutes! it is one of my favorite places now ❤️ btw, coffee was nice too!
Rustic Pearl was a delightful cafe decorated with cute and quirky knick knacks like framed coins, tram art and an old Nokia phone. The staff were friendly, the coffee was fine and my cured beef, mozzarella and avo toast was on point. The flavours were incredibly well balanced from the saltiness of the beef to the creamy cheese, the tangy dressing and the fresh tomatoes and basil. The soft boiled egg even came pre sliced for the perfect yolk porn shot. Definitely worth the 40 minute walk!
Food is excellent!! Very yummy! But a bit pricey. In general very good experience!highly recommend. Tried to make a booking but it was live queue! Took 15-20 minutes to waite but on the other hand it was busy Saturday morning
Lovely and memorable! One of our favorites! The drinks were nearly too pretty to consume too! We would love to visit again when we're in Sydney next. Highly recommend!
Visited Sydney two times and had brunch here for 2 times. Worth travelling and waiting for the table. It could have been one of the best brunch outlets in Syd.

Rustic Pearl is a Stylish cafe in Surry Hils for refined, Turkish-influenced brunch and lunch. The cafe is so cute and cosy and does not seat many diners, so we were lucky to get a seat without too long of a wait both times we have visited the cafe. On our first visit, we ordered two dishes to share, the first dish was the eggs benedict with ham, two poached eggs and hollandaise sauce on sourdough toast with tomato relish. This was a classic cafe dish done very well, the ham was thick cut and rich, balanced well by the creamy hollandaise sauce and spicy tomato relish. The eggs were poached well.
Don't forget to book before you go to this place, the restaurant is tiny but the food is great! You will find a lot of special deco in Rustic Pearl while waiting your food. The staff is friendly and the lobster roll is a must try.
Probably my favourite brunch place in Sydney for food. They have a myriad of unique menu items with a Turkish twist. There's something about the food made here that puts it above all the other cafes, partly due to the fresh, higher quality ingredients used. They also have an extensive drinks menu with something for everyone.
Their homemade hollandaise is amazing, and I've actually overheard multiple people eating here claiming their eggs benedict was the best that they've ever had. Their menu changes seasonally but can never go wrong with any of the benedicts.
After a week of disappointment and subparfood, I tired going to this place with my lovely missus. The food and beverages are fabulous, service is excellent and my loved one pleased.
;)
Well done. Slightly different brunch menu compared to most hipster places of the day. Fresh and quality ingredients. Most importantly, super tasty. A surrey hills gen worth the queues.
I had the Bosphorous benedict and it was yummy! Only thing that I didn't really like was the 'chocomole' (avo mixed with chocolate) as I was expecting it would taste more avocadoish than chocolate. But overall, it's a must visit!
Decent place for food. The benedict was nicely done and the sauce plus bacon was good. Ordered the bosphours benedict as well and the lobster looks fresh with decent portion
It is an amazing experience! The restaurent is full of character and the food is divine. Staffs are friendly and even we had to wait for 15 mins before we got our seats. It's well worth it!!!
Came for breakfast on Saturday morning and this little place was bursting at the seams with hungry customers. Put our name down on the waitlist and had a chance to wander around Surry Hills and take photos of street art! Twenty minutes later got the phone call....and we were in! Started with an orange juice and a lemonade. Best tangy, handmade lemonade I have ever tried! Ordered the Aegean breakfast - a platter of soft boiled eggs, cucumber, tomato, olives, goat's feta, honey with clotted cream and toast. Not sure what they did to the honey and cream but I was licking it up with my fingers! Also ordered an avocado toast with wilted spinach and tomato. A simple dish, yet the food was just bursting with deliciousness and flavour! We both agreed that this chef is some kind of magician with food. I spied a Cordon Bleu certificate on the wall so I asked the chef about his time in Paris. I am sure this is where he perfected his art!
When i came to the cafe it was at 2.00 and still full of people. I got 3 tables in the waiting list, it was not that long. But the smell of the restaurant is like cheese mixed with yoghrut, for me it is a bit letdown but the cleanlines is nice. I ordered the white sea breakfast which had blood sausage in it. The sausage is nice and the pan fried haloumi cheese is favourite. But somehow the eggs taste a little bit funny. The yoghrut on top served too warm for my personal taste. But i think would come back to try different dishes as rustic pearl offer a lot of brunch menu to offer 😁
Every time I visit this cafe staff are lovely and attentive and the food is always fresh and bursting with flavour! It is still one of my favourite cafes, 3 years running!
Pretty good but not outstanding. I guess depending on what you get this will change, but as a round-off, that’s the impression I got. Good variety of dishes to choose from so I wouldn’t mind a second visit, perhaps for the bosphorus benedict!
Came in for breakfast, didn't realize the shop was so small. Found a table, had the melemen and a Turkish apple tea. Eggs were average but the tea delicious. Had a look at some of the breakfasts on the tables next to us, definitely keen on trying the beautifully presented fruit/granola/muesli plates next time. Creative menu overall, breakfast and lunch. Worth visiting I think.
So glad I had the chance to try out this place when the waiting times weren't crazy! Rustic Pearl is quite the unique place featuring lots of interesting and delicious Turkish-inspired brunch menu items. Everything is beautifully and almost effortlessly presented from our table water, the drinks, and the food. However while our drinks are subpar the food is definitely much better. Loved the unique combination of ingredients and flavours
This place was crowded today on 27/12/2016. There was a long waiting list. We had to wait for more than half an hour to get a seat. When we finished, we felt like having to leave as there were a long queue standing right next to our table which made me feel guilty for sitting longer, especially the man waiting nearby was holding a baby. The food was good. I had the watermelon salad. Quite tasty. My friends also liked their food. The food presentation was not as eye catching as some of the other cafes we've been to. The waiters and waitresses were very nice.
been here 2 times! still amazing.. the staff was so bubbly & friendly.. food & drinks were fantastic! the place is quite small but the decoration & atmosphere make us very comfortable to enjoy our brunch!
Exactly what the name says. It is very rustic but the dishes are pearls. We ordered three mains each one a different flavour and different presentation. What amazing prices for dishes worthy of three chef hats. Yes the food is the reason you may have to wait a lot to get into this place. The high end delicious food along with great friendly service will ensure that you don't even feel the slight discomfort of rustic seats and tables
Rustic Pearl, another cute little cafe in middle of one is Sydneys buzzing brunch capital, Surry Hills. It's a place with Turkish influence for amazing breakfast, brunch and lunch.
Ambience 4.5/5: The decor was my first impression, from the pavement to entering inside the front door. Small wooden middle eastern engraved tables, rustic ripped sandstock brick work, brass plates, wooden stools, murals, pillows, throws, tiles, Turkish lira, flowers, vases and worry beads adorn the walls in clutter. All these gave a very traditional Turkish ambience to the cafe.
Service 4/5: Service was swift and a clip board menu was with us in no time, along with a cold water carafe topped with an orange.
Food 4.5/5: A strong smell of freshly ground coffee, fresh mint, pomegranates and orange made ordering quickly a necessity. I struggled with what to choose as the menu sounded all too good.
Beverages -The drinks section is vast and includes all the Mediterranean favorites with a Turkish twist. The coffee is awesome and the larger size is presented in a bowl.
Must try homemade lemonade which come with fresh seasonal fruits and are presented so beautifully.
Food-
Sucuk bruschetta was fantastic with fresh rocket, tomatoes, avocado, melted mozzarella on top, sweet pomegranate molasses and a soft boiled organic egg that was sufficiently oozy enough to fulfill my yolk desires.
Bhosphorous Benedict, their signature dish was large, and was presented in a long toasted roll covered in avocado, 2 perfectly poached eggs dripping with creamy hollandaise and topped with coriander and red chili garnish. Each mouthful was delicious and I am salivating thinking of the experience as I write.
Menu is creative and presentation is stunning😍. The entire experience was brilliant from start to finish and worth a visit !!
Small cafe. Good food.
I tried the crispy duck dish and it was very good the meat from duck drumstick however was a bit tough to cut (maybe they need to give me a sharper knife) and still a little bit undercook.
Would recommend this place to a friend and will return.
Really nice environment and atmosphere. The flavours are interesting and I love their hot chocolate. Very friendly staff. Definitly going there again.
I absolutely LOVE this place. I cannot wait to go back, I want to try everything on the menu. I wish I could have ordered more on the day!
The food is so delicious, the flavours were perfectly balanced and ticked every box for my brunch date on a beautiful Sunday.
- Atmosphere 3/5
- Service/Staff: 5/5
- Food: 5/5
• Value for money: 4/5
• Revisit? YES!
• Must order: All the gozlemes! Turkish tea!
Rustic Pearls is one of my favorite spots in Sydney by far! I come here on every visit. Delicious and mouth watering modern and classic Turkish food, along with few Aussie brekkie picks. Don't forget to order the Turkish tea with your brunch!
A small and cosy rustic turkish cafe! Although the wait can be boring and dreadful, i can definitely assure you that the food is amazing and well worth the wait! Definitely recommend getting the bosphorus benedict (lobster benedict) because it was juicy and unforgettable. The duck salad was refreshing and full of textury flavours. Definitely a hit!
Baked eggs were amazing! We also ordered the hickory smoked halloumi on the side but unfortunately it wasn't cooked well - rubbery and cut too thick. Service was friendly and efficient.
Took us 15 mins of an uphill walk from central station, and 15 mins of wait to get a table, but TOTALLY WORTH ALL THE TIME AND EFFORT. Ordered the spinach and feta gozleme, and absolutely loved it. The staff is friendly and the ambience is really cozy and modern mediterranean. One more of surry hills gems 💕
Their Eggs Benedict lobster is amazing. I always order this every single time. Their duck is also very nice and fragrant. It's full of that amazing duck fat that made me drool every time. Rustic Pearl manages to live up to its name and standard. The only negative side would probably that it takes quite long to wait for the food to come. Nevertheless, it's worth it. Will be coming back for more.
Ordered the chicken tortilla wrap. It was pretty good. Will be back to try the famous Bosphorus Benedict. Loved the decor. Especially the paintings I could actually understand
My friend & I were in the area and wanted to have a nice brunch so we jumped on Zomato, Rustic Pearl came up as the 1st option so we decided to go. We loved the fact that it's a small cosy and rustic cafe. Very attentive service, amazing coffee & juice, and we were blown away by the food.
Highly recommended.
So so so good! The food was amazing! One of the best cAfe I've visited so far. Different choices of foods and drinks. Foods on the menu are not the same. Is not repeating same ingredients or food that have similar kind of taste. It does make it hard to choose what to order because you just want to try them all, but that is also a good thing, because you can easily know what you prefer and what kind of taste you are craving for. The only bad is the cafe is so small, seats are limited, better go a bit earlier just to estimate a bit of waiting time. So far, I am so happy with everything! Especially the foods were so yummy.
I would love to come back here again! The food is so so good! Between the 5 of us we ordered 6 dishes and every dish was amazing! You would think the idea of a eggs Benedict and lobster to be too much but it wasnt!! It was just soo good! It's surprising how well lobster goes with the hollandaise sauce! The crispy duck, chicken and pumpkin salad, Hungarian beef and Wagyu omelette were delicious. We pretty much licked every plate clean! Only con was the wait. Wait for table and wait for food. After waiting all that time for a table, it would have been nice if our food didn't take so long.
brunch at its best! There's always a long af queue at this restaurant but luckily for us, we got there in between breakfast crowd and lunch crowd. I had the famous lobster egg benedict. Four pieces of lobster with two eggs on the bread. The lobster was perfectly cooked and the eggs were yummy. I especially love the coriander and chilli addition. It's a very rich dish (with the lobster, eggs and hollandaise) so it's never my go-to dish early in the morning. The food was great and the service was good; but the only thing is the food comes out quite slow. So by the time you have your food, your drink is most likely gone.
$25 for lobster egg benedict
One word: Yum. I really loved the food. After hearing about their Bosphorus Benedict, I went with some friends to try their infamous creation. We order their best selling Bosphorus (bay lobster) benedict, a trout benedict and an abalone benedict. Benedicts galore!! :) I had the lobster one and it was delicious. Lobster was cooked well, sauce and eggs were so nice and creamy and the hint chillies was a nice subtle touch. The bread was a little tough to cut but no biggie. The food is a bit pricey though at $27.5 for the lobster benedict, and it wasn't a filling enough serving for me :p
Overall, food is really yummy so definitely worth a visit. Allow plenty of time though. I went on a Saturday just before noon and had to wait one hour for a table, then another half hour for food to come. It's a small cafe so there aren't many seats.
Food is really nice but the place is so small, they probably only have less than 10 tables in total inside and outside. Me and my friends we waited for almost an hour to get in for the brunch and I was starving. I ordered the lobster with egg, avocado and toast, which is recommended by my friend and I absolutely love it! And they also keep a wide range of drinks, I ordered apple tea with rose and cucumber, again, love it, not sure if it is a traditional Turkish drink.
Food is sooo good here! So many vegan and gluten-free options. The vegan lamb sandwich/wrap is soo good. The vegan bomba is also super tasty but not one to have if you’re super hungry. Such a cute atmosphere / decor as well with nice staff.
Love the food the service. Always nice and humble people. So rare to find around here in a Surry Hills
I ❤️ you guys. Ive been here several times and today was the first time back since covid shutdown. Things have changed but the love has not. You put love into every thing you guys do, thank you so much. The Lobster roll is still OMG delisssssshhhhious and the chai is made with ounces and ounces of love, it is so delicious and has to be the best in Sydney, yes big call I know.
Thank you guys for all the love and care you give to each of us that comes your way. Already looking forward to coming back ☕
The food is unique, is full of taste. The service is very friendly. The atmosphere is excellent with eclectic music and the beautiful decor. I’ve been here several times but would never get bored of it. A genuine oasis in Surry Hills’ dense cafe landscape.

Loved the menus variety and they had probably one of the best coffees I have had in Surry Hills. The food is tasty and well presented. The pesto was incredibly fresh and serving size was large.
Cute tiny place with an authentic interior design and menu. Atmosphere is very nice, staff is friendly. It is quite busy on weekends, which is reasonable considering the quality of the food. Service time prolonged due to prime times, but i'd say it was okay. Prices are relatively high, I'd expect it to be 15-20% cheaper. Presentations are good, quality of the ingredients are good and fresh. Price performance is good, but not amazing. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place. Tru turkish breakfast dishes.
Good place for the weekend brunch. The food served are towards the savoury side. Particularly enjoyed the abalone Benedict and the roast duck which is only for lunch menu
Quite a unique selection of high class eggs Benedict offering lobster or abalone. The shop and service are all great. The prices however are more than your average brunch joint.
