Recently spent a few days in Sydney. Visited here every day for our morning coffee. Excellent coffee, excellent service. Great with our kids too.
AWESOME service from Chris and his wonderful staff. He sourced my beloved almond milk so that i can continue to enjoy my almond mocha. His was an completely unexpected but totally appreciated gesture. 🖒
Always great coffee and terrific staff.
It can get busy at times but that's what happens when it's great food and coffee
Great food and beverages and even better staff. Worth a visit any day.
Authentic cafe reminiscent of Italy.. great coffee. It will be a regular when Im in sydney.
Great coffee, great service and a great vibe every time I visit !!!
Great cafe, good sandwiches and friendly staff!
Feels European. The coffee is very good, and the food is well done.
The best Italian style coffee I
had in years ☕️
Always perfect coffee, with a friendly smile. My favourite way to start the day especially with a little bonus cookie.
Amazing coffee! What a great discovery. . Will be back.
The best coffee in Sydney; fast & fantastic service.
Highlight of my day......best coffee and staff who make you feel like part of the family!
Sydney's best coffee right here!!!
An absolute delight to have our coffees here. True to it's name, would definitely recommended the coffee.
P.S. Our rating is strictly based on coffee as we weren't able to try any food.
Highly recommend the coffees from Doppio, never disappointed. Haven’t try any food there yet, but looks good and there were always people waiting for takeout.
Popped in for a take way coffee and found myself back there within 30 mins for dine in breakfast. Thoroughly enjoyed a bacon and egg on Turkish freshly cooked to order, fridge was full of interesting ready to go items, a very friendly bustling little cafe and good coffee.
I have often walked past the Doppio cafe, always bustling in the rush hours, but never stepped in. I had taken note its catch cry - "the local taste of Europe". Doppio has been around sixteen years in Sydney CBD.So on a nippy winter's late morning, after having completed my business applying for a travel visa, I did need a pick me up and so did not hesitate to try the coffee blend. There are teas available as well. The female wait staff was helpful and smiling on approach. Several people were patiently waiting for their orders, which were being made by the barista carefully even with all this potential pressure. There is something of a continental after taste in my coffee, different from the Aussie blends. I still find this wholesome, flavourful and comfortable. The cold weather outside does help to make me appreciate my cuppa more. I have to remind myself that the Doppio coffee is locally roasted. I did not have time for food on this occasion. Doppio's Espresso visited is located at 284 Pitt Street, Sydney NSW.Opening hours are from 530am to 5pm every week day and from 7am to noon on Saturdays. You can order online. Located at not exactly the business heart of town.
Nice and quick! They know how to make a good coffee and their takeaway breakfast items are also really tasty. They do sell out quickly of many items so you need to get in early. Better to grab and go as this spot is pretty small but we were travelling with a pram!
Small cute cafe in Townhall. I love the homely ambience and the staff are friendly.
Came here just for grab a coffee but there are yummy food list on the menu.
Should try food next time for sure.
English tea was delicious and smells so good which made me relaxed.
Served with cute flower shaped 'Passion Fruit Biscuits' which was full flavour of Passion Fruit and yummy. I'd love to bring them back home.haha
I'll defs come back for brekkie or lunch next time.
This is a really nice place for a catch up lunch, or a slow time, layback raining afternoon. I only went there for a expresso today. Very impressive expresso, having obvious berry taste, not so bitter.
It exceeded my expectation of expression in a takeaway cup. I will definitely go back for a proper expression in a cute little cup.
Stopped by for lunch after a tiring morning walking the city and found Doppio Espresso.... What a gem.... cosy and intimate, it reminded me of an espresso bar in Rome or Milan. Superb coffee (their own blend), served at the correct temperature and beautifully balanced on the palate. I ordered a ham, bocconcini, rocket, roast tomato and mayo sandwich, on wholemeal bread. The toasted sandwich h came with a fresh, crisp leafy salad drizzled with balsamic glaze. Total was $14... surprisingly great value for a cafe in the heart of the city. Efficient, pleasant staff, and quick service. Highly recommended.
Great cafe. Good food, variety, change their selection regularly. Friendly service too.
Really good but small city coffee shop. Geeat coffee and food.
Without a doubt the best coffee and service in town!
Fantastic Coffee, Service and Food. This cafe located in the CBD is famous for it's excellent coffee. Chris the owner prides himself on remembering his regular customers names. I don't know how he does it given the hundreds of local business people that make a B line for this cafe around morning and afternoon tea time. You immediately get a feeling of good old fashioned service and excellent coffee, and food. The fresh daily food making up the lunch time specials makes you think he has had his mother carefully prepare the food every day it's that good!!
I would highly recommend this for the best coffee in Sydney's busy CBD, and excellent food. You really can't miss on the service here, It's attentive, and immediate every time you go.
In the busy times of the day, don't be scared of the queue for take away coffee, You'll be stunned how fast Chris and his team get through the orders.
Highly recommended.
Came here around midday for a coffee- flat white, which was good, and also came with a biscuit. Slightly noisy inside, and busy around midday. Limited seating and there’s some slight pressure to move on quickly, hence it’s not a place to read or relax for a long while. Still, the food smells great and looks good, and staff have made an effort to present an Italian theme cafe in Pitt street.
An absolute delight to have our coffees here. True to it's name, would definitely recommended the coffee.

Busy, loud and buzzing with great coffee is the best way to describe Doppio. Great place to try something new with maybe a Freddo coffee. Check the place out but don't always expect to get a table
Great little breakfast here. All came out very quickly and the Breakfast Burger was a great start to the day. Coffee very smooth with a good bite. Will be back.
Best grilled chicken salad I’ve ever had! Lovely atmosphere.
I’m definitely coming back. Thank you also for the fantastic service!
Their truffle egg mushroom toastie was absolutely delicious ! This satisfied my toastie cravings and definitely would order again :)
Really good coffee here. Had the large flat white and it was great. Server is really nice, place has great ambiance: upbeat music and a busy crowd coming in and out. As a traveler from Indonesia, its a really nice sight to see. Also had their smoked ham & cheese croissant, it was delicious!
