Great location, friendly and attentive service. Delish quinoa salad and fab coffee.... chin up for the previous reviews.. not sure why anyone can be so spiteful to leave 2 bad reviews... I had great experience, will come back and would recommend
You have got to try the totes amazeballs original Jimmy's Brekke Bap.....so so good, with the generous helping of bacon and the most delightful spread of capsicum chill, it's the bomb!! Thanks for bringing more joy into my Life #breakfast#outstanding....Keep up the good Work!! and coffee isn't bad either...well worth a visit
Literally just took my last bite of the Double cheese toastie with bacon. It's one of those things were your sad it had to end! I come every morning here for my coffee before work to take away but decided to have breakfast and a coffee inside this time. Coffee is just as great food was sublime. The guys that work here are cool, laid back but massively care about the food and coffee they are serving out of this busy little place. Hangover well and truly cured!
Delicious breakfast of mushrooms and the vegan pancakes were amazing. Coffee is so good I had to have two.
Superb coffee and best ever brekky superbowl. Great service
The man with the beard was friendly. I had some banana bread. It was quite delicious AND yummy! The coffee was of a high standard reminding me of Melbourne. I would go back many times because of the great food and the nice coffee and the friendly, efficient service. The music was also very nice.
Geoffro tells me this is the number 1 coffee shop in Sydney, will be our first stop when in Sydney next. Congrats on a more than successful business :)
Easily the best run cafe in darlo and run by great staff. Ps: friendly service and fantastic food and coffee
One of favourite cafés. Great customer service, coffee and food
Best Breakfast exsperence of my life. Staff/food and coffee all top notch.
A small cafe served coffee and breakfast. We had Pandan Pancake and Smokey Croissant. The taste was amazing and the presentation was very pretty.
However, the coffee was nice but not strong enough.
The smokey croissant comes with scrambled egg, avocado and smoked salmon with drizzled with feta cheese and pomegranate seeds. And the unique flavour comes from the fried onion.
The Pandan Pancake comes with an ice cream, fruits and maple syrup. The pancake itself not too sweet and make the perfect combination to eat with the maple syrup and the ice cream.
Recommended place to go on Saturday or Sunday brunch and for instagram pictures 💕
Located a stone throw away from Moore Park and St Vincent’s Hospital is this quirky café, offering a wide range of choices for breakfast and lunch along with a cosy interior.
Ordered a variety of dishes and there were all absolutely delicious and coupled with their coffee and juices, made for a very pleasant lunch. If you are ever in the area, be sure to check this out
Dishes ordered are –
· Ricotta Croissant - Seasonal fresh fruits, almond, honey, ricotta cheese, ice cream
· Beef Rendang - Traditional Indonesian slow cooked beef, jasmine rice, bean sprout, fried shallot, green chili
· Salad – poached egg, avocado, kale. quinoa
· Pandan Pancake - Seasonal fresh fruits, homemade sauce, maple syrup, ice cream
Along with some coffees, beetroot latte, green glow juice and boots juice
I shared a delicious breakfast delivered from this place. We chose “BIG BREKKIE”, with bacon, sauteed mushrooms, avocado, spinach, grilled tomato, toasts, poached eggs and hashbrown. Yummy.
Bootsdarling is a great little Cafe with homey and rustic decor throughout. Dining there made me feel like ‘home’. They offer variety of dishes including classic Cafe dishes, vegan/vegetarian option and Indonesian dish that is changed from time to time.
I’ve been here a few times and always impressed with their food.
Coffee is amazing.
Every single dish was beautifully plated, perfectly cooked and tasted wonderful. Insta-worthy too :)
I enjoyed every single dish but if I have to pick my favourites I would certainly order again the crunchy French Toast, mie goreng, corn fritters and beef rendang.
The place specialises in deepside chicken and dweep rendang if you want any of these this should be your place though it's not so bigger place yet the quality of food is really high
First time to Bootsdarling. It’s a must try brunch place. Staffs were friendly, food came on the timely manner, and coffee was great! And most importantly, food cooked perfectly and presentation was magnificent! Love love it!
Clean and decent flat white with 3/4 milk! Even though less milk but I was happy to get that coffee punch, considering some places don’t even have this! Their menu look good so it is on my list to try their food as well! The interior or I should as a cafe, it has good vibes! Will be back. (Rating will be updated after food trial)
Really fresh, healthy wrap here today. Went with the salmon, it I reckon the schnitzel option would have been better. Cosy spot, friendly service.
I had a really really decent long black at Bootsdarling paired with the most delicious muffin I've ever eaten (No kidding... Tell me the secret to your poppyseed and apricot muffin please!!!)I enjoyed sitting up on a stool by the window - good vibes.
Quick stop on the way to the movies. Coffee was decent enough but could be stronger. Balsamic vege pie was pretty great. Homemade caramel slice was too full on and chunky for me personally. Cute place though.
Met up with my girlfriend for a yummy brekky. Got a table easily and atmosphere was good. Coffee made to perfection and I loved my Bondi bowl. Loved that the food was a little different to all the usual suspects on menus. Good service to boot (no pun intended..) loved it.
I wasn’t expecting this Sunday morning to be able to get a table here, as I remember another time I went it was packed out. I’m surprised I didn’t review it at the time!. My latte was strong, like I like it. Delicious. My $7 jar of orange juice seems overpriced, but I guess that’s what freshly squeezed hipsters cost these days.
Quintessential inner-city cafe. Friendly staff, prices aren't outlandish for the area, good coffee, food is great comes out quickly.
Get the beef brisket burger. You'll get messy but it's incredible.
Consistently friendly and good service. Killer coffee, nice interior, and the smashed avo amongst other things is extremely good value for money.
Food was yummy, great people watching!
Had the pineapple juice with fresh chilli. At first was a shock but then I realised I liked it. I had Gf toast was perfect, crunchy and not soggy like most cafes I go to.
There is a great vibe here, coffee is great, each cup has a vintage silver table spoon on the side that they have collected! Cute!✅
Really small, hole in the wall type of cafe. Great little menu with delicious food on offer. The French Toast was an absolute highlight served with Vanilla bean and maple yoghurt, mixed berries and poached pear. Service was lovely.
Quirky hipster cafe with excellent coffee and solid value food offerings, a stone's throw from St Vincent's. every morsel of the vegetarian burger (sesame crusted chickpea patty with haloumi) was thoroughly enjoyable.
One of my favourites not only cause it's the closest cafe to my house, although that helps. Cosy and bustling, the tiny kitchen pumps out some great breakfasts. The menu changes regularly and the bacon is always crispy. Best bacon around.
At its core, Bootsdarling is a killer coffee barista stapled to a two-man shoebox kitchen operation. The sweet spot is food complex enough to differentiate, yet simple enough that each element has a purpose.

The chicken has a lovely, spicy Moroccan flavour to it too, but I found it a bit dry. Add some mayo or aioli in there! AKB had the Bircher with cranberry, golden raisins, poppy seeds, toasted almonds, pistachio and cinnamon yoghurt ($11) pictured at the very top of the post, and it was absolutely stunning. Such a unique array of nuts and seeds – poppy seeds are great but they get stuck in your teeth – made for a very tasty and special muesli experience.
one aspect where there's no contention in my eyes is the presentation - homely and woodsy come to mind. Unlacquared wooden boards, pans straight from the cook, Bootsdarling really knows how to impress with a winter's menu.
I love the quirkiness of this small cafe with lots of dark wood, knick knacks and hipsters in the kitchen and behind the coffee machine. Coffee is from Bailey Coffee in Melbourne. Mister and I are pretty happy with the coffee. If you like tea, their tea is from Mayde Tea and there is even house-made hibiscus and lemon myrtle ice tea on order. Yummy! Bootsdarling serves all day breakfast . Mister order the smoked haddock (kedgeree) omelet with raita ($16). I only had a taste of the smoked haddock. No sign of smokiness or hint of curry flavour. He was not a fan. I order the slow cooked pork hash with poached egg and dijon on the side ($18). Potato lovers will fall head over
We had breakfast here on the holiday Monday. Full marks for opening. Agree the comments on odd seating space but hey it beats milk crates on uneven ground.
Shared the spinach corn and ricotta fritters. Very good with salsa verse and bacon AND an egg. Hello to cafes that now think eggs are a side dish at breakfast. Coffee OK, Campos has nothing to worry about.
Good for a couple not sure a group would be able to sit together at all.
What a lovely little cafe! My coffee was superb as was the delightful, friendly service! I ordered the zucchini & corn fritters and they were sublime... Complete immersion in the delicious pesto flavour and crispy bacon delivered with a perfect poached egg. Good value as well.
Coffee is perfection.. This cafe is cute and quirky as.
The staff are really friendly, but the main highlight would be the coffee. Perfect texturing, strong bean.
However if you cant handle a small amount of space and lots of noise on a busy day, I would avoid.
I, however, will definitely be returning.
Great trendy cafe, small but they work well within the given space. Really friendly, quick service & yummy food. I usually get the smashed avo on toast. Simple dish yet so flavoursome. Also their brekky rolls when I'm on the go.... DELICIOUS. Thanks for the great times guys
If this isn't Sydney's best coffee, can someone please tell me where?
Breakfast...the most important meal of the day. Part of the reason i love living in sydney so much is because of the large range of breakfast spots! I really do wake up and straight away think about what I'm going to eat that day! Bootsdarling is a hidden gem, Firstly the Decor is warm and welcoming as are the staff, I've been here three times already and cant fault the service, even when its been really busy the service has been great, but the most important part, the menu.....I like to think of myself and a breakie connoisseur and the only fault i can find with this menu is there are too many great dishes to choose from, id recommend the corn fritters, they really are delicious (these are not your standard corn fritters) this is not the place to go for your run of the mill eggs benedict, this is the place to go for a breakfast so good you will want to stay put for lunch!...........oh and the staff are cute :)
ABOUT TIME!!! A cafe finall.... ABOUT TIME!!!
A cafe finally that gets it not just right, but perfect!
I've been in twice now and I don't want to leave, it felt like home.
The food is amazingly tasty and REALLY affordable.
The coffee is without doubt the best I've ever had and the staff are so friendly as I mentioned it really felt like home.
I can't give this place a higher rating!
A+++++
Great little place to start the day in. Good coffee, I had to have two. Mellow tunes, friendly staff and good food. They seem to have a lot of regular locals which is always a good sign. Interesting decor with lots of recycled materials.
Highly recommended !
A cute and cosy little cafe with excellent food. The Nasi Goreng, which I ordered with tofu and extra chilli, was more-ish 👌 and slow cooked beef sandwich was also good. The place is very popular so it might be worth booking a table around lunch if you want a particular time.
Will definitely come back!! The food was SO GOOD, super great customer service and the coffeeeee tastee awesome too!! Keep it up!
Easily best coffee in Syd. They use all the best milks for Almond, Soy and Oat drinkers too. They make an amazing chicken salad wrap which is a clear 11/10. The owner and his staff are the friendliest I've ever come across. Highly recommend you try them. You'll be back. They always write cute and cool things on your coffee lid!!
We travel to Sydney regularly and we LOVE Bootsdarling!! The friendliest staff, fabulous play list, coffee and the most delicious, fresh food! The care, consistency and attention to detail in everything they do is obvious. Thank you so much!
My boyfriend and I ordered smokey croissant and goodness bowl. Very tasty food.
These are the sweetest peas in a cafe pod. The team here will remember you, your name and your order, weeks later. The drinks are all top shelf, and the eats were going down well with the smiling faces I observed.. new customers popping in near closing time are not warned about impending closure, or even told the kitchen is closing. No. Full menu, and they stay open and welcoming. Great 'tude dudes.
Delicious pandan pancakes! Great portion size with lots of fresh and flavourful fruits! The kiwi was a nice touch too
Cute little cafe on the side of a fairly busy street. We sat outside on a Sunday morning so it wasn't too noisy at all. The food was delicious! We ordered the smokey croissant and corn fritters with bacon. Both were ready quite fast and were sizeable meals. We also had a couple of fresh juices, they were very generously sized as well. Would definitely come here again.
