Delicious! Try to eat a chicken with mozarella on top and some potato chips. For the drink, choose The Sunshine juice! Compatible choice! Would definitely recommend and visit again.
Almost tried every cafe in CBD except this one, so I told myself that I need to try!
The cafe name is same as a stationary store named as Kikko, so wandering if itβs their side business.
The coffee is not bad actually! But havenβt tried their food as yet. Might Guoriumπ§ͺ and I try their menu food but I am not really keen on this as i was quite disappointed by restaurant in QVB.
We stumbled here on a Sunday morning for breakfast. The service and food delivery was quite fast. The breakfast was awesome. The avocado toast was delicious. The yoghurt and Granola was very nice and fruity. The Nutella banana bread was my personal favorite. A sour dough type bread was spread with Nutella and drizzled with granola and garnished with strawberries and banana. Definitely worth a revisit.
Food was nice, coffee was good, nice and cheap! Staff were friendly and the service was fast. Highly recommend for a lunch date, lots of vegan and gluten free options too!
Everything here is clean and the staff are so friendly. The breakfast meals we had were so good, hands down the my favourite place for breakfast in QVB.
A nice lunch spot. I had a bbq pork burger, which consist mushroom, tomato, cheese, yummy one. And my friend had a sandwich which I had forgot the name, which had smoked salmon ? She liked it too.
Odered: 2 iced coffees
Goods
- Eats to find area and ideal location
- iced coffees tasted fine
- Good customer service, attentive and friendly
Bads
- Basic cafe menu
Great area to people watch and have a break from shopping. Its your average cafe and here for more your convenience than a new trend in food. I only had ice coffee but they were what I expected. I'd come again.
Decided to give this place a go after going past it SO many times in QVB, with a friend. For a weekday following the post xmas time, it was very bustling and packed. Thankfully we found seats. We chose this place because the City was a naturally central location. Perused the menu and noticed quite a lot of choices.
Ordered the 'Kikko' ($16ish) and a regular cappuccino. The food took a while to serve, but I imagine that was due to the attendance to the other customers that was required. The cappuccino was good, but nothing overly special since there was no coffee art like I had expected, and the chocolate powder was dusted, but some was left on the handle. Minor details, but I know some cafes do answer these 2 issues and thus I've been scoring relatively.Β
The 'Kikko' was delicious on the whole, however, the roasted tomatoes were not that nice to digest along with the rocket. The truffle oil and the generous proschiutto along with the poached eggs made up for that however.Β
Overall, it was a decent brunch for me and my friend, and there are some small areas the cafe can improve on to become greater!
Had a soy latte! Loved it! No burnt soy! Delicious! I only had their coffee, haven't tried their food. ππππππππππππππππππππππ
Cute little coffe shop in QVB 1st flr. I usually get here the pistachio cookie . But today I've tried something different . "Portuguese Custard tart" first I thought maybe its too sweet since its custard but it looks pleasing in ny eyes tho . So i get it . When i tried it I'm not expecting the taste of just exactly sweet and the tart crust on the bottom part is perfect. I totally loved it definetly coming back for this tart :)
Great coffee. I've been a regular for years and it's stayed consistent. The staff have also won over my heart with their friendliness and charm. Highly recommend it for a caffeine hit if you work close by.
Located in the QVB it has a good location, though the QVB can be a bit of a wind tunnel at times so be warned if it is cold outside. Service was slow - from order time for the coffee and the food to be served (compared to what I wait at other cafes). The Norway had some nice touches to it - rocket instead of baby rocket, which was wrapped in salmon - a touch I liked. The serving size of the salmon was VERY generous compared to what I usually get when I order any egg dish with smoked salmon. I would definitely go back if I was looking for a cafe for a bite to eat and a coffee.
A very busy cafe set in the heart of the QVB. Service can be tricky at busy times (slow to order, slow to come) so I tend to avoid it then. Coffee is fine, not outstanding but a good standby if you've been on a shopping mission and can't walk a step further ...
Great coffee. I'm a coffee snob and I found their coffee delightful.
I had a takeaway mocha here and it was amazing! Perfect balance of coffee and chocolate, piping hot, delicious. I've heard the coffee here is great as well!
Super yummy food & very very friendly staffs.. was served by a guy who even helped us take our group pic despite being so busy.. totally recommend others to pop by for coffees & yummy meals ππ
Hidden Gem! This cute cafe is hidden inside the Queen Victoria Building. Delicious food, incredible coffee at great prices. Service was great ~ very accommodating on a very busy public holiday! Highly recommended A+
it was amazing experience at the Kikko cafe. staffs were very friendly and kind. coffee was perfect despite a bit expensive price. I've never seen how the staffs are so professional while they were so busy all the time. thanks Kikko I will definitely come back and highly recommend all viewers to come here and enjoy the greatest coffee ;)
Just decided to sit down and have a light breakfast and the late was very nice and French toast was yummy π
Lovely lunch! King prawn linguini with garlic, parcelly, chilli and olive oil! The QVB is so gorgeous, it's a pleasure just to sit and watch the world go by there!
There are not that many places in CBD that serve a good variety of breakfasts, and getting one after 11am most days is pretty hopeless. Kikko however, serves not only a great choice of cooked breakfasts, but it serves them 'all day'. Other than one or two cafΓ©s I know of here, this one offers one of the closest to a 'Full English' too. Bacon, sausage (ok, not like a plump British banger, but it's sausage), tomato, mushrooms, eggs (poached / fried / scrambled etc.), toast and a good coffee or tea (it's called "The Big", just under $20). Just so you don't forget you're in Australia though, they add half a sliced avocado!!!! The only downside (in my opinion), is that you're sat bang in the middle of the QVB shopping centre, with gazillions of tourists watching you eat your breakfast mid afternoon!!!! Would recommend though, nice staff, good coffee, good food, reasonable price for the area.
Good food and good service. Little bit too crowded and not enough tables Sat / Sun mornings. Very popular coffee spot inside QVB.
Great coffee. Quick service. Meals are tasty and reasonably priced. Beautiful setting in the middle of the queen victoria building.
