Review Cre Asion - Sydney

Although this place is located in a quiet alley, it was well patronized. No wonder, as the food was really good. The matcha tart was one of the best I have ever had! It was so full of matcha flavour, yet not heavy.
Anna Lynn
Best Japanese matcha and dessert place in Sydney. Cakes are not overly sweet and drinks are nice too. I’ve been here many times during the past few years, and every visit was enjoyable. Highly recommended.

Authentic Japanese Cafe in a hidden laneway. The Matcha and Houjicha Latte was sensational 🥰❤️😍 the Swiss rolls are also incredible!!! $7.50 for the lattes. $9 for the Swiss rolls- fluffy creamy and not too sweet- tea flavour is super strong. Price is premium but great quality 🙌🏻

The best muffin in Australia is here! The taste is real Japanese taste. It is located in not a convenient place, but worth visiting!!
Felicia Chiew
The matcha muffin is so unassuming and delicious! Its crispy outside and soft inside, there's cream cheese and redbean in there too The matcha latte is flavourful and yummy!
Guy Liang
The best hojicha latte in Sydney, must try if you are s tea lover! We ordered the matcha chiffon cake too, it was absolutely delicious!
lydia C
The latte is good👍🏻 But the tart js pretty disappointed, all I tasted was artificial sweetness without any green tea flavour 😭😭😭the texture is fine, as it’s $9 I have higher expectation y toward it May come back for the roll and other cakes
Egypt
Absolutely lovely. Hojicha latte was amazing. Their ham, tomato and provolone toast sandwich was great. Gorgeously simple.
Sichao Hu
Small shopfront selling delicate desserts. The fondants are absolutely tasty, especially the matcha lava insides. Latte tastes so smooth! The chiffons is a bit too sweat for me but still delicious.
Yue Wang
Ordered almost every recommended sweets. Each of them were perfect! They are currently only available for take-away. So we enjoyed the food in Hyde Park as a picnic lol
Cathy
The reviews were spot on. Perfectly texturised milk with just the right hit of matcha. I like how it's the authentic, not overly sweetened or weak matcha. Highly recommend ! 🤗
Dominic Svensson
The chiffon matcha cake was ok. A slightly spongy lump with an icy cream, both with much more matcha than these sort of places typically use. I certainly wouldn't pay $9 for it ever again. The coffee's great, tasty and very creamy and also strong and hot.

Best matcha dessert, I am sure it will taste even better when dine in! We will definitely return again, thank you for bringing us back to Japan!
Sylvia Pham
If you are ever craving for matcha!!!! This is the place to definitely check out! Their matcha latte has a strong matcha taste! Right consistency of matcha and milk! Definitely matcha heaven when you go here- everything is matcha!!!!!!

The restaurant is very small, cramped and with miniature seating that is accompanied with low tables making it an uncomfortable eating experience. You will most likely not be able to be seated inside (it really only fits 3-4 people) which isn’t ideal in this cold weather.

The location is quite secluded, so unless you’re actively searching for this place you will probably not find it. The cafe food itself is nice, but very average overall and nothing about it really stands out.

The highlight is definitely the matcha desserts. The chiffon matcha cake was delicious! Very fluffy, warm and rich in flavour. The cream really complemented it perfectly. The green tea latte on the otherhand overloaded too much on the matcha, but the taste was still quite good. If there was less matcha, it would taste much better (there was so much matcha alone remaining in my cup despite draining all the liquid!)

I would definitely come back here again for the matcha desserts.

Instagram: @sydneyfoodreviewer

Managed to find this out-of-the-way, alleyway cafe and had higher expectations. The cafe is exceptionally small so there really is not a feeling of comfort or coziness because it feels cramped and there are hardly any seats / tables.

The highlight was the matcha green tea latte in the very nice earthenware bowls but i think I can probably emulate the same thing at home so I will try to do that instead. The matcha tasted like it was good quality and the not-too-overpowering bitterness of the matcha was balanced out or counteracted by a hint of sweetness. I liked that it wasn’t too sweet or too bitter but near right. It was soothing.

The macaroons came straight out of the fridge - I prefer them room temperature - and they were quite small and nothing special. They tasted like every other macaroon I’ve had but I’ve probably had better elsewhere.

Had originally planned to order the green tea fondant trio with the icecream but opted not to because the shop was going to close soon and I didn’t want to rush eating. Don’t necessarily feel like I’m missing out.

I probably won’t be back because the shop is so tiny and cramped and is not worth walking out of your way to get there. Customer service very average.

Great cafe, ambiance, food, great dessert place!
Hungry Panda
Nicely cooked and friendly customer services. Super relaxing environment. Only drawback is that the cafe appears to be quite small. Hence it is hard to find a good spot during peak hours.

Best place for Mocha sweets

The signature ‘Scrambled eggs on sourdough bread’(papanui free range egg) with add-on smoked salmon. The desserts ‘Matcha fondant’ and ‘Matcha swiss roll’. The ‘Yuzu lemonade’ macaron. The drinks ‘Matcha green tea latte’, iced ‘Matcha green tea latte’ and iced ‘Hoji tea latte’(roasted matcha)

One of my favourite cafes! Everything I have tried on the menu so far has impressed me. I recommend all of the above. Everything tasted delicious! The iced drinks were nice and refreshing! Make sure to come early before 12pm (avoid peak hr) because the cafe is small which means table & seating is limited. I enjoyed the chill atmosphere of the cafe, nice place to sit & chat. The location of the cafe is quite hidden & isolated in a laneway, which is nice in terms of being away from the loud sounds & traffic of the street.🚦🚘 .

I have been here several times as a huge fan of the hojitea latte.
The poor point is just for the cashier lady. She has always got attitude to people like we are not welcomed even hated. It is ruining my morning coffee mood. Ehh.
I’m glad I got to try this place- I had it bookmarked for a while. I ordered the matcha sponge and macarons and they were all delicious!
The sponge cake was so light and airy, and the azuki icecream does help with the dryness- I do suggest you order a drink along with it (cake and tea/coffee goes a long way). I definitely recommend the macarons- they are worth the $2. I’ve had my fair share of macarons from dessert places/high tea and a lot of them fail due to the dense, artificial and sickly sweetness. These macarons are not dense or too sweet- I ordered the yuzu, genmai and black sesame (if you like fresh citrus flavours, def get the yuzu!) The coffee is great- rich in flavour!

I have to say that this is the best muffin I have found in Sydney. They have choc banana, choc peanut butter, and green tea matcha with a red bean centre. The peanut butter one has gooey peanut butter chips and huge choc chunks and is so decadent. Definetly worth the trip.

Cafe Cre Asion is a place for lovers of matcha flavoured desserts!

The Matcha azuki muffin was served warm as we sat outside on a Winter morning. The matcha taste was not strong but well balanved with the cream and azuki beans inside. The matcha chiffon cake had the perfect ratio of cream to cake and paired well with a morning coffee.

The Matcha green tea latte was served in an interesting bowl type cup, that was a lot of fun to drink out of.

Tastiness: 4/5
Value: 3.5/5
Satisfaction: 4/5

Pictured:
- Matcha muffin
- Matcha chiffon cake
- Matcha green tea latte
- Lychee & raspberry macaron
- Yuzu macaron

The tea I got was very rich, I also got scrambled egg on sour dough with smoked salmon. The smoked salmon was very nicely done. Will recommend.

Choosing there because of high score. But the cafe is too small. The taste of sweet roll and banana bread is nice but not amazing. I also drank tea and it is ok. Btw the service is great.
Meowktail
Quality matcha desserts - nice variety available. Fondant was gooey with a scoop of creamy ice cream, and slice were perfect with a crispy bottom. Latte is made with quality powder - bitter with a hint of sweetness.
Mic
Lava cake is creative and nice. Not sure about the cake made off - it is an interesting flavour that I can’t tell.... I don’t think the cake batter with matcha is the best combo. The matcha certainly is standout taste. Coffee is only 2/5.... service is... so so... pricy for a cake...that doesn’t make me to come back.

Matcha Fondant : 😍 Amazing
Matcha Swiss Roll : 😁 Great

For the love of matcha! If you have a matcha addiction like I do and you haven’t been to Cafe Cre Asion ... what are you doing ?! You can see the magic all unfold in the open kitchen behind the counter. Rich, intense matcha in both the Fondant and the Swiss Roll but I if you had to pick one, I would without a doubt choose the Matcha Fondant. Not only does it come with gelato but a crumb and extra matcha to pour !
Susan
Okay service with good matcha flavour! Rich in matcha, the lava cake with matcha gelato was the best and a must ! The Swiss roll was also good, I loved the matcha cream which wasn’t overtly creamy, but the cake itself was a little dry.
June
Situated at a hidden area and seats are limited but quality food! Love their matcha, hojicha (not in photo) and matcha lava cake. Matcha lover should totally try this!
Srslyfoods
In love with this matcha style cafe❤️❤️ the best matcha lava cake and swiss roll, if u come in the afternoon most likely the swiss roll will be sold out. Matcha latte 👍👍 the cafe is small just have a few tables
Tortuguita Comiendo
If you like all things matcha you have to come to this cafe. It's a small hidden cafe on Alberta Street in the city near Museum train station. There's only a few seats so either come at quiet periods or get takeaway and eat at Hyde Park.

We got
- matcha fondant cake with matcha ice cream and a rich matcha sauce. So good
- matcha chiffon cake with azumi cream. Bitter matcha powder needed the azumi cream but the cake was as light as air

Serving was although small, it was a lot more filling than expected. The side pot of matcha syrup sadly lacked the richness and consistency that I was hoping for (almost like a pot of iced matcha latte). Matcha Lava Cake. Lava cake tasted like a normal brownie with oozing matcha liquid. As a brownie, it was moist and rich but the matcha filling unfortunately added very minimal flavour for the cake to be classified as Matcha;. I expected the lava cake to be served at least warm, but it was sadly served room temp.Matcha Lava Gelato

I was really excited to try this cafe, unfortunately it did not live up to its 4.8/5 rating. The matcha desserts were average and all my friends agreed that it is not worth a second visit.
Tuna
Maybe i expected a bit too much from seeing all the pictures on instagram and another app... the cake tasted good but average, nothing too special. Maybe i’ll try something else next time.

We have been here several times for their matcha based dessert, particularly the matcha lava cake, which was delicious with rich matcha flavour. Would highly recommend if you need a matcha fix in Sydney. :)
Gisela
The closest cafe from our apartment. Anything related to matcha - I think they are the best in Sydney at this current moment. I also love the dark chocolate & matcha cookies. Always bring these cookies back for gift ❤️

Matcha fondant ($8)
Matcha Swiss roll ($7)
⭐️ 4.5/5 ⭐️
🍴Slightly pricey but delicious #matcha treats at this tiny but cosy cafe. The #matchalavacake was really tiny but delicious with a dark chocolate exterior filled with bitter rich matcha - a matchamade in heaven 😂. This was nicely balanced with the thick pour over matcha sauce, smooth matcha ice cream and crunchy chocolate bits. While one of us found it a bit too bitter, I personally enjoyed the strong matcha flavours and bitter > sweetness. The #matchaswissroll was light and fluffy with nice matcha aroma
📍Cre Asion Cafe, 21 Alberta Street, Sydney, Australia
#cafehoppingkidssydney

Always impressive. Best brunch in Sydney so far. Even the simplest food taste absolutely amazing. Matcha desserts are must try. Highly recommended.

This place has been in my bookmarks for a year and today I finally had it. As a matcha lover, I still think I had too much today. Genmai tea latte was really nice with slight roasted rice flavour. However, the matcha fondant was a bit too sweet that the ice cream became tasteless after the cake.
Really love the music they played! And glad the interior design is kept simple.

Lovely coffee shop at a cozy corner. Staffs are warm and friendly. I enjoyed the matcha green tea latte and swiss roll the most. Will definitely comeback ❤️

This is my go-to cafe when I am craving Matcha. This is a tiny and cozy cafe tucked inside the bustling Sydney CBD, famous for their green tea pastries and green tea lattes. Highly recommend this place for matcha lovers.

Their matcha latte is out of this world and hands down one of the best I've ever had. Super smooth, super creamy, strong matcha flavor, not too sweet, with hints of bitterness. This drink makes a perfect companion to their sweet desserts.

I also loved the fondant cake which was rich with chocolate sweetness and strong aromatic matcha flavors.

I was, however, a bit disappointed with the chiffon cake as it lacked the matcha punch that their other products had.
The Sweet Tooth Fairy
The most beautiful and comforting scrambled eggs!

I know the cafe is also most famous for their Matcha products but it's always so nice to see other options available for days and/or people who are not keen for matcha and other tea products.

Food came out quite fast and the eggs were incrediblely soft and smooth layers.

Seating is a bit tight and limited due to the space of the cafe overall but it's definitely worth the wait and the visit!
Grumpy Eater 🤷🏻‍♀️
Yummy greentea dessert place hidden in small alley.
Not get a chance to go back as often as I want. Matcha fondant is the best, recommenced though the piece is so small for $8 🤷🏻‍♀️
The Violet
It’s in the little backstreet near Museum Station. It’s definitely not missing the customers.

I heard about this cafe by word of the mouth. The coffee is very good and so are the matcha products. (I started going to this cafe, years ago, for the macrons and matcha latte. Now it seems they are not making that many macrons anymore.. )

Must try match muffins - warm with a cup of coffee! It smells soooo delicious and tastes just sooooo yummy too.

BTW, they do lunches too.
@KeraBearEats
One of my favourite matcha cafes, Cafe Creasion.

The cafe has accumulated quite a fan following over the years with their selection of quality home-baked matcha treats, innovative dishes, and captivatingly spacious a decor that reflects Japan’s love of minimalism, which aims to enhance the experience of cafe goers giving them a place of zen away from the hubbub or crazy city life; it is in the heart of Sydney, after all.
Christine
Ordered the cheese tart and iced matcha. The cheese tart was warm but the bottom (the cookie base) was soggy and oily and disappointing... although it was quite large and judging by quantity, worth the $5. The iced matcha was quite average in comparison by taste, but the quantity was far less and there was a lot of ice, which wasn’t worth the $5.50.
Albert Chen
Green tea drinks and desserts are their signature!
Great place to go when you sick of coffee& milkshakes. Love their green tea Swiss roll and ice green tea mix!
Not much places to sit
All things matcha at Cafe Cre Asion, hubby has been wanting to try this for awhile. We had the hojicha latte and iced matcha for drinks. Thought they were a bit too sweet for me. For savory we had the chicken sandwich which was very yummy, loved the addition of enoki mushrooms in it. For desserts we had the matcha fondant and matcha cookie, loved both of them wish they were bigger in size!
The cafe is really small in size with miniature table and chairs
Why__dee
Hidden gem that’s tucked away in the heart of Sydney’s CBD area. It wouldn’t be right not to order any of their matcha drinks or treats here. Perfect minimal cafe for morning/afternoon tea.

Such a cute quaint place with lovely service. I'd been wanting to go to this restaurant ever since I saw it featured on my favourite foodie blog. It did not disappoint, they had a variety of delicious desserts and treats, as well as drinks. It was so good that I took many treats home as gifts for my friend, we had a matcha feast and enjoyed them together that night. 5 stars :)
Doitforthefood
As it's such a small cafe, there werent any seats when we got there (around 11am on a weekday) and waited approx. 15mins for seats. The fondant was really good and would highly recommend getting it if you haven't! The matcha lattes had a strong matcha flavour which I also enjoyed. Would definitely come back again
Catherine
Good! Not too sweet. I love it. I will definitely go there again. One flaw is that it is a little hard to find the location. I will go there again.

Delicious and good quality of japanese delicacies! Love the dessert and beverages. Im not giving the 5 star because the portion is way too small for the price given.
Staff are very friendly. Small and relaxing cafe, perfect location. Good place to chill! Love it will come back for sure.
Sanninko
Really good matcha green tea latte served in an authentic Japanese Shussai pottery. Rectangle-shaped matcha tart was superb. It's a small space but definitely recommend to have the late with the pottery cup rather than to go paper cup for experience.

Hi had the hojicha latte, not bad but wasn’t as strong as I hope. Very unique cafe with special menu. Worth to try. I like the decoration and the hardware they use.
Tanya
It’s a green tea heaven, but most dishes lacked the green tea punch. Located in a small alleyway in Surry Hills, the cafe was very small and offered very little room for sitting. Although I can see what type of ambience they wanted to bring in with the stools, in reality, these were awfully uncomfortable and awkward to eat on.

The only dish which stood out for me was the matcha fondue. This came out fresh and had a good balance of matcha and brownie in it. The ice cream also helped complement the dish. My friend also got the matcha junmai latte which was delicious. This had a strong roasted flavour and was a complementary drink. The matcha latte was a big disappointment. Tasted awfully milky and bland. Wouldn’t get this again. Everything else was underwhelming. The matcha tart was bland, the chiffon cake was dry and the Swiss roll was also very bland. I love the concept but I’ve definitely had better.
Angela Eats
Located in an alleyway with very limited seats and tables, this cafe is extremely popular, especially with matcha fans out there. The seats and tables were quite small, so you’re pretty hunched over and it’s pretty hard to eat without spilling your food everywhere. What I noticed is that the staff don’t clean the tables after a person a person ate on it which is quite unhygienic. Also, water is self served . Anyways, I’ve always wanted to try this place out due to the crazy high ratings. We ordered their famous matcha fondant which came with a sauce and ice cream. When you cut into the fondant more sauce just flows out, it’s actually so mesmerising to watch and mouth watering. First bite and it’s so gooooood! The matcha perfect, not too much, not too little. The ice cream was creamy and had a subtle matcha taste which worked really well with richness of the fondant!

Overall, if you come here, the matcha fondant is a must try! They also have other matcha goodies to try out as well.
Missbeiju
This is simply the best cafe I’ve ever been to.
Matcha latte, man, never had anything better than this
The matcha cheesecake(?) was yum and all other things were way above average. Strongly recommend!
It’s a 4.5/5
0.5 deducted due to the limited amount of seats
Honest Eats
Potentially overhyped but didn't really get to experience much, it's incredibly small and the iced coffee is reasonably okay tasting. Matcha could be hit and miss as my experience was more on the miss side, I'd be willing to try again but only if passing by.
Michelle Chua
Small but cosy. Really love the atmosphere and everything about the dessert is matcha! If you’re a matcha person, you will definitely love this place :))
Rachma Mctegg
Went to the cafe this afternoon ordered fondant cake ($8) and matcha latte ($5). Both was good. The fondant itself more like brownies, and the chocolate so rich and less sweet, blended well with the matcha stuffs. My matcha latte also came too thick and bold. The minus was only limited space dining area and height of table and chair are same, bit uncomfort for myself.

Since I am living alone here.... I dont want to go to kitchen and make coffee for myself.. so i decided to have coffee from a nearby shop while going to work. This place is so good I must say their service is fabulous.. I didnt have to wait much to get my coffee done...I had Milk coffee here that was really good
Ki Cheung
serve with their hearts, that's why the quality of food is outstanding and no one can compete with for this causal cafe food!
Definitely, I got more than what I paid for.
Also the vibe is unique in Sydeny, hidden inside a tiny lane, and the cafe is small but neat with warm feelings
Rakelg
This small little cafe is tucked away in the streets of the southern area of Sydney’s CBD, close to Surry Hills. They are known for their matcha bakery items. The only reason I am not rating it five stars is because the actual matcha tart and cake are sooo tiny. However absolutely delicious! I got the matcha fondant which is a small little matcha kava cake, served with a scoop of green tea ice cream on top of a biscuit crumble, and with a pot of melted matcha sauce. The price of $8 however perfectly matches the serving. It was the perfect light dessert for one person after a big lunch, and is not too filling or sickening at all. The matcha flavours are perfect and warm, and melt in your mouth. The ice cream is creamy and has the perfect sweetness for matcha, and the fondant itself tastes chocolatey. If you like matcha I would recommend trying one of their special treats!
Christinana
They serve very good Matchaaaa. Check this place out if you are matcha lover. 他们家的抹茶超好喝 浓浓的 不会甜 抹茶熔岩蛋糕很好吃 不会甜.. 抹茶蛋糕卷还可以 有点干... ............
Tinmans Treats
I had the chocolate matcha lava cake with matcha ice cream. It doesn't look like much but damn it tasted good. You can tell they are using high quality matcha. The chocolate cake was rich and warm. Perfect size.

It's a tiny cafe with maybe 6 seats so don't exoect to be dining in. I came in an off peak time so i was okay. There's a refined selection of treats. It's classy to do a few things really well.

Definitely worth visiting and revisiting.
Sloth.adventure
Café Cre Asion had a very nice cosy atmosphere and the staff were very nice. I tried the matcha and green tea macaroons, matcha fondant and matcha green tea latte. All of them were amazing to eat. I ordered a matcha muffin for takeaway and can't wait to eat it when I get home! Will definitely be back.
Bethi
We tried this place in our trip to Sydney as its super close to our hotel. The matcha products are to my taste as they are not too sweet. But I didn’t try more dishes as there is no table there. But overall very good matcha products.
Yan Wu
the pretty place with delicious sweet desserts! i am not a person who like to eat matcha but this place is one of my favorite. A little bitter from tea with lovely sweet from desert will make your day. No available sit on busy time so try to come early!
Freddie Diaz
I love it, simple, elegant and delicious, Matcha rocks. I find it just walking around the area, in need for a coffee, I end up eating as well, lovely food. Great service, bright hidden gem
Hoika Ng
amazing macha products. especially the macha tart with rich flavour and extrem thin base. and the macha foundant was a little bit too sweet for me. but it taste well with black coffee
Ian Teh
Feeling like a total misfit.

The clientele reminds one of a current cult hit movie about moneyed Asians.

But they have a great mozzarella and tomato sanger and the coffee's not bad.

The signature (I think, because lots of people ordered this) is the matcha fondant which was delicate and very good.

They take a lot of care with their grub here... Really good spot.
Evelyn Chen
A tiny cafe with only a few tables inside so you can take away if you want, but it is worth a try. It has an awesome matcha menu and everything on it seems delicious. I had my matcha Swiss roll and matcha latte. Both of them tasted wonderful, not too sweet, very refreshing. Quite enjoyable!
Ankit Malik
Really small and cute Cafe tucked away from busy streets we have ordered several stuff and the taste was awesome pastries overall experience was good and worth visiting. And also we enjoyed the drinks and the drink were refreshing and where different to what we are used to drinking the latte was slightly better but enjoyable.
Lily Peng
The best Macha you can find in Sydney. Everything is perfect, I strongly recommend the roasted Houji Latter, very impressive. All the Macha and chocolate cake is perfect. I wish I can live besides this place
Karen Seo
The cafe was a lot smaller than expected and the table are very small and low so it's kind of hard to eat there. Also because it's small there arent many tables to sit in. The food is nice but a little pricey.
Food_Rampage_AM @INSTA
Rocked up here 1 early wkend only to find they were already full 😏. I think they prefer peeps to do takeaway as not only was the place smallish, whatevs chairs n tables didnt look comfy at all. But we aint here to discuss seat ergonomics..

Swiss roll 3.25/5 n tart 4/5 all matcha of course, were quite divine esp the tart. Dense yet melts in your mouth. Matcha flavour on both came on thick but well balanced. Did i say the tart was divine? Ohh want more. Should have bought moreee.. giving em a 4/5 simply bec of.. the matcha tart 🤪
Cinbee
Friendly staff and good service. The food we ordered was to standard and very appealing. However, we did had seats outside and it was fairly windy as well as location wise it is quite secluded. But overall a good experience!
Hippokathy88
Located in a hidden alleyway just off of Sydney's bustling Alberta St, @cafe.creasion is a cosy and welcoming café to fulfil all your caffeine and hunger-driven needs. We were here for all things matcha 🌱 and walked away quite satisfied.

We absolutely adored the macarons, they were the selling points 💞! Every flavour had their own personality, shells were light and crumbly, fillings were organic and not too sweet. < Yuzu Lemonade > was my favourite 🍋, with loads of yuzu and the remnant flavour kept dancing on my tongue, only to be calmed down by the sweet and creamy < Matcha > 🌱. I also loved how fresh and vibrant the berry centres were in < Lychee & Raspberry > 🍒, as well as < Cassis > 🍇. < Kokuto Caramel > 🥞 was thick and strong while < Black Sesame & Charcoal > 🌑 was nutty and not at all bitter. One of the best macarons to date!

As excellent as the macarons were, the rest of the desserts didn't seem to measure up. They were good, just nothing too exciting to warrant a return 😅. Swiss roll was nice and airy, with a light cream wedged in between. Our fondant oozed out yummy matcha filling but the accompanying icecream was too icey. Finally the tart scored a bit higher with a refreshingly smooth mousse and had the best matcha flavour out of all desserts.
Tulika Kabra
A really small and cute cafe tucked away from the busy streets of the CBD. This place offers a wide range of macarons, pastries and matchas 🍵 In all a good experience and worth visiting.
Michael
This small little cafe is in a back street that nobody will find without a GPS. Came here for the first time on a cold windy day and the Matcha Latte was perfect. Strong but not bitter green tea flavour and perfect texture. I tried the Matcha Fondant and the Matcha Chiffon Cake and they were both perfect. I’ll be back again to try their other offerings.
May Ju
The desserts here are great, not too sweet or overpowering. And I looove their matcha latte. Prices are very reasonable as well. Only downside is the limited seating available.
Owin Camero
Second time coming back and this time for breakfast. Had the matcha muffin which very warm inside and had a nice crisp muffin top. Eggs just melt in your mouth to add. Nice little hidden location but with little seating. Would come again to try their whole menu.
Sammi Yin
They serve a variety of drinks and sweet desserts ranging from pastries to muffins and even macarons. Also offering a few breakfast options like sandwiches and soup. There are only a limited amount of small stools and tables available inside and outside of the cafe, so you should try and come when its not as busy.
