The factory feel to the place is great with the high ceiling and rough finish to the walls. The food is delicious đ and we really enjoyed it! Nice serving staff too. Worth a visit!
My birthday has never been a big affair that I celebrate. I actually like keeping a low profile on the day and spending time with my loved ones. This year I actually spent it with Nirry learning a new dance style, and then at a dear friends beautiful wedding. It was a really perfect day. The following day, Nirry organised a big surprise brunch for me and invited my closest friends from work, school, university and family too. It was a beautiful surprise and in all honesty even typing this out is bringing little tears of joy to me.
A beautiful cafe. Food is good. Everything is just perfect. Mum loved we will go visit again. Next time Iâm going take my friend with me. Good day

Three Blue Ducks in Rosebery is phenom! Ive been there for both Lunch & Dinner & will certainly be heading back soon. Lunch: My partner and I went for lunch with our two doggies recently and had our pick of the outside area. They quickly brought our dogs and ourselves some water(seperate water which is nice :P) and took our drink order straight away. Once checking out the menu we opted for a few dishes to share. We opted for the Spit Roast Lamb, Crispy Roast Potatoes & A pomegranate salad. TBH watching the animal on the spit is not the BEST thing to look at (and prob intimidated our dogs) but the smell & the taste of that meat kind of makes it worth it. All three dishes were very tasty and clearly good quality. Prices were reasonable for the quality and serving sizes. The dishes filled the two of us and it tasted so good we took the left overs home with us.Â
Dinner: My partner and I went for a quick dinner after a big arvo tea. We ordered the BBQ octopus and it was VERY tasty. The sauce was great and accompanied the octopus very well. We also got some sourdough with the dish so dipping that in the sauce filled us up. The serving size was actually quite large for octopus. The inside interior was very nice. It had a nice industrial look to it and the dimmed lighting was very light.

Love trying new places for breakfast, this one is by a former Masterchef dinner - I donât think this dish is on the menu anymore, this is the Hot hay smoked salmon, sweet potato hummus, poached eggs, crispy kale, pepita dukkah, herbs & toasted sourdough. Tasty middle eastern flavours accompanied with their home made chai, turmeric and ginger latte.
I would happily come back, and would be keen to try their dinner menu.
The Three Blue Ducks concept began in Bronte and theyâve since expanded with stores now in Byron Bay, Rosebery and Brisbane. They also host weddings and functions and you often see them at other events off site. With a big team of staff, you will note one of them is an ex-Masterchef contestant.
Weâve been fans of Three Blue Ducks since their original Bronte days and dropped by their Rosebery cafe housed inside The Cannery precinct to see how their new outpost was treating them. Thereâs plenty of seating inside this cavernous, spacious warehouse-style site (making it great for group brunches) and some interesting dishes on the menu, like their Asian-inspired Brown Rice & Miso Congee which our friends tried and enjoyed, paired with kimchi, charred greens, corn and a soft egg for a comforting dish.
First you notice when you walk in is the size of this place. Ceilings are high and unlined. On this cold night the outdoor heaters placed strategically around keep us all cozy.
Our entree consist of Tempura eggplant, salmon Gravlax, Octopus and fried Brussel sprouts. The Octopus could have been more tender.
We all had the lamb off the spit to share which was juicy and tender. The sides especially the potatoes were well received crispy on the out and soft inside.
Got to say for a dimly lit place like this I donât know why their food and drink menus were printed with a small font and Grey paper. We all struggled to see what was in offer!
What we did see was a diverse choice of wines which were decently priced. Finished off an enjoyable night with a single malt and tokay.

Not familiar with the Sydney food scene but so happy my work dinner was here. What I do know is the Melbourne food scene and you definitely lived up to the high standard us Melburnian expect . They ticked many boxes. I had the scotch fillet and I canât recall the last time I got a scotch fillet bigger than my palm. I asked for medium rare and thatâs what I got. It had a fantastic mash potato that was creamy and the texture was perfect and some Red grapes on the vine charred on top. If the waitress suggest you get the cabbage as a side , you donât say NO you simply ask how many. Who would have thought cabbage could taste so amazing. This was also charred and went perfectly with the steak. If you are going to opt for a dessert the chocolate mouse hit the spot perfectly, that added salt was delightful on my palate . I was not a huge fan of the coconut mouse and rhubarb. I felt the rhubarb was not sweet enough and still very hard to eat and cut with a spoon.
The venue was perfect for large groups, very spacious and you simply only focus on your own crowd. I loved being in a warehouse and the lights above my head were a statement piece, It made an impact and set the scene for a great evening.
The service was good however before our meals came out we would have liked the opportunity to order wine, we were still having some amazing cocktails and did not get asked if we would like anything else to drink with our food.

Great brunch menu and a good coffee to match. We really enjoyed our breakfast at Three Blue Ducks. The menu showed a bit more diversity than most brunch spots, which we liked and the flavours were great.

Three Blue Ducks in Rosebery is housed in the industrial space where Kitchen by Mike used to be located. The light filled and spacious warehouse is shared with Koskela, a modern furniture and homewares shop. There's a lovely open kitchen where you can watch all the meal preparation in action. This place took us a bit by surprise...sure we've heard about the bronte venue, but with a 3.4 (at the time of this post) much second guessing.....
Anyways, let's start off with the potatoes; best roast potatoes either of us have ever had! These are legit!
Moving onto the lamb, literally falling apart and the different cuts definitely keeps the taste buds going..."sometimes a great chunk of lamb shoulder just gets boring".
Marlin...not easy to cook but still the quick moments on the BBQ give it a char and smokiness without turning it into cardboard. More sauce would be nice, but overall it tastes like healthiness on a plate :)
Finally the Chocolate Mousse, the parsnip cream wow...very interesting definitely stealing that, sorry but it's just quirky and delivers! Eye opening and should not pass on if your dining here for the first time!

We had a fabulous NYE lunch here... having been somewhat disappointed by the Bronte 3 Blue Ducks many times before I admit, I had low expectations.
I was pleasantly surprised and the experience far exceeded my expectations. I loved the former restaurant at this venue and the 3 Blue ducks has brought it to a new level!
Itâs awesome- comfortable yet innovative menu, accommodating staff & top notch wines!
This is a new fave for us & I have no hesitation in returning again and again!!!
Great breakfast spot - nice coffee and excellent corn fritters. Dinner here is also excellent - cool atmosphere and easy for larger groups as they have several big tables.
This place is huge!! Its an old warehouse turned cafe and its really good. Lots of big groups and celebratory breakfasts going on.
The Brekky Roll was delicious! The tomato chilli jam was more like a Shakshouka sauce but damn it set off the flavours of the egg and bacon. The poached eggs on toast came with a mint and nut salad that sounds weird but tasted very light and refreshing. Perfect yolk porn on these poached eggs too! Order this with a side of crispy bacon for that extra umph.
The service is friendly and the staff are all up for a chat. Sometimes there's a bit of a wait for your meal but that's because of the size of this place. We'll be back again!
I had a Sunday brunch at the 3 Blue ducks in Rosebery, Sydney, and I want to confirm the high quality of the ingredients and the excellent service. We asked for the avocado toast and the bacon roll and you can feel the attention to the detail and some unexpected tasty flavours in every meal. The coffee is also delicious.
The service was very fast and the staff lovely and professional. A total must do!
- Poke Bowl (3.7/5): Poke is a Japanese/Hawaiian dish so I found it strange that there was Korean kimchi in the Poke Bowl...but it worked! The tang from the kimchi (which wasn't chilli btw) brought a lot of flavour to the dish and was balanced out well with the creaminess from the avocado and soft boiled egg (cooked perfectly!). The brown rice was a tiny bit undercooked otherwise it would've received a 4/5. Only other thing I would change is to add more of the puffed rice on top for extra crunch to break up the soft seaweed.
Golden Chai (4/5): A turmeric ginger chai latte made with almond milk - delish! It's definitely sweeter than I expected (and smaller) but the flavours left me wanting more. A great belly-warming drink
I'll definitely be back here to try more dishes although the prices are a bit steep for a casual lunch!
We came here without a reservation (6 people) and we got a table pretty quickly, and the service staff were really nice and up beat.
The food... Well did't think it was up to what they charge for (we had the prawns and the Argentinian lamb) which were ok, bit the salad had next to no thought just a bumch of flavourless leaves.
The menu was rescued by the dessert... That was acrually pretty good, just to finish the meal on a high note.
Extremely delicious new breakfast menu. Simple yet sophisticated. Very well balanced with right amount of sweetness, saltiness, acidity. Texture wise, love how the kale gives the smoked salmon dish some crunchiness!
Really enjoyed our first experience at Three Blue Ducks in Rosebery. Loved the mix of the industrial feel and the sophisticated menu. The oysters were divine! Had to order a second dozen. Argentinian lamb was a winner and was perfect shared between two with the potatoes and salad. Service was faultless and despite it being a little "fancy" it's very kid friendly which is a bonus tick from me!
I came here for brunch yesterday and was seated quickly because I had a booking but the place hadn't quite filled up yet.
I was waiting for my friend and it took a while for them to ask me if I wanted a coffee but the service was very friendly and helpful. We quizzed our waitress on the menu and she was able to answer all pf our questions.
We both had the poached eggs on toast, one with regular sourdough bread and my friend with wellness sprouted bread. The eggs were poached to perfection and the coffees were good too. I would love to come back and try the lunch and dinner menus.
The fitout was also really cool keeping with the industrial vibe of Rosebery.
Popped in for  quick bite after a few drinks in Archie Rose. we had the bone marrow, chicken wings, king prawns and the Brussels sprouts. The wings were ok, very tender but the batter was lacking. The prawns were very tasty. Sprouts were delish, tender and delicious. The best was the bone marrow, freaking delicious, juicy full of flavour. The worst thing about the dish was I had to share it!!
Hope to return and would definitely recommend to a friend.
Came for a quick coffee and cake to go as unfortunately the brunch line was too long on a Sunday :( An amazing venue with warehouse vibes and was so stoked to see Andy from master chef in the kitchen! Good coffee and nice little cake selection. I'll be back.
Three Blue Ducks Rosebery did not disappoint. The industrial chic interior adds flair and edge to an interesting menu. Staff are friendly and on top of their game - they are knowledgeable and well informed, and make great recommendations to guests. The food was incredibly flavoursome and well presented. We had a large spread for a big group and were lucky enough to try an array of dishes ranging from dips, chicken, salads and seafood. The frozen drinks we had were also lovely and refreshing. An overall wonderful dining experience!
Need an idea for Sunday brunch? A few months back AKB and I checked out the new (well, not so new anymore!)Â Three Blue Ducks at Rosebery. Itâs taken up the old Kitchen by Mike site next to Koskela and they have an awesome breakfast menu that they serve til 11:30am!. To be honest, it doesnât look all that different to me compared to Kitchen by Mike, but I guess thereâs only so much you can do with a big open warehouse space without dividing it up. Thereâs something nice about the familiarity though, and with such a big space you can always drop in without worrying about booking or not getting a seat.
Three Blue Ducks is probably one of the better restaurants in Rosebery. I was there with my colleagues for an office lunch. Amongst our group, we also ordered almost all of their main dishes. Personally, I ordered their special of the day. It was a rather big squid with pearl couscous, vegetables and a very yummy sauce.
However, given how good our dining experience in the Bronte one was, this one was subpar.
Tried the new dinner menu, enjoyed the new side bbq corn ! So happy they kept the citris salad. Had the John dory this was very nice and cooked with perfection. new chicken dish was not as enjoyable. However the quail made up for this and loved this. Dessert wasn't a highlight.Service was good this time and the waiter was friendly. Would give it another try

For over a month, the ND food group preparing and planning for a Rosebery food crawl and it finally happened! Foodie adventures was meant to begin at midday in Rosebery but due to a late departure and traffic, I didn't end up getting to the Saporium, Rosebery, until 12:45pm. By that time, the group were all hungry and in search of food.Â
The Saporium houses a few cafes, restaurants, a health food store, and holds weekly "markets" (i.e. a dozen or so food and goods stalls) on Saturdays from 10am-3pm. However, there was limited food options there that tempted our taste buds (maybe Mr Bao but it was rather expensive at $6 per bao) so we decided to head outside and walked through The Cannery to the Three Blue Ducks.
Excited to check out this newish addition to the gourmet foodie places in Rosebery I stopped in for soy latte ($4.50). Made with single origin beans it was delicious and velvety. Looking forward to come back to try the breakfast!!
Good food with a really cool warehouse feel. The outdoor grill with a whole pig in it looks amazing. We liked it so much we went back the next day!
Foiled! Since I never got into Three Blue Ducks in Coogee, I thought a sneaky little trip to Rosebery to try the new pop-up Bob at Koskela would do the trick. The menu looked superb. But arriving, it was nearly empty. The cute waiter said that breakfast hadnât been busy enough so it would now just be lunch. We could order for a small menu that included chicken bone broth, muesli, and eggs and soldiers⊠but the fancy breakfast is only available on weekends.

We were first drawn to the big industrial space at 1/85 Dunning Avenue in Rosebery when Kitchen By Mike were rocking. The long lines of diners lining up for wholesome, generous offerings really created a cool vibe for the area. Sadly Mike McEnearney left Rosebery for the city in 2015. Luckily for Sydney, the space has not gone to waste and a giant of the cafe scene has stepped in to take things up a notch. Three Blue Ducks havenât gone for a wholesale change in concept or fit-out. The cans with cutlery have been replaced with a more traditional setup, and friendly service staff run around looking after your every need. Thereâs two bright pieces of art near the counter, and giant rattan lamp shades dominate the space. Thereâs better defined menus with breakfast and lunch. What sets this cafe apart from all others across Sydney has been the installation of 1/2 ton bbq named Bob! Bob plays a large part shaping the menu with a host of smoked and charred offerings. Three Blue Ducks, like the previous tenants, share the huge space with Koskela, an Australian furniture and homewares store. The space is super family friendly, and the kids can escape to a play area. On warmer days or when it does get full, you can also escape outside to dine as well.

It was a delightful experience. We had a selection of vegetarian dishes which we shared between the three of us. Each dish was flavour-some and well presented.
The service was food too. We had a lovely time with good food and drinks.
The place was busy which is understandable given they serve genuinely good food in a simple setting.
I will be happy to visit again, and to recommend this place to anyone.
Service was a bit slow, but food was quite good. We tried their Vietnamese peanut Chicken and Slow cooked lamb, whilst the chicken was a bit over, the lamb was scrumptious and rich in fat. The baked potato on the side were crispy from outside and soft from inside and complimented the lamb.
The coffee was absolutely amazing! One of the best coffee in Sydney.

We decided to have our wedding reception in November 2021 and it was probably the best decision we've ever made. Four months on, we still reminisce about the night we had at the beautiful location.
Normally, you don't have much feedback on wedding reception meals because you expect it to float the same benchmark as the previous. The amount of feedback we received about how good the food was almost worrying, it seemed like the food had more of an impact than our actual wedding hahaha
If you're looking for a rustic and ambient night out with family and friends, this is the place to be.
Amanda, our event coordinator was so helpful from the beginning of covid even until a week after our reception. Her patience and understanding and ability to go above and beyond was truly appreciated even till today. I can't thank the team enough of how amazing their quality of service was.
If I was to recommend a venue to anybody with the same criteria, Three Blue Ducks is top of the list for me.

My wife and I recently had our wedding at Three Blue Ducks Rosebery. We couldn't have been happier at how the whole day and lead up panned out. Mon Mauceri was our coordinator and she was fantastic at communicating with us the whole time. Nothing was too hard and she was such a pleasure to deal with via email and in person. She was there on the day and made sure everything went smoothly.
Every guest also raved about the amazing venue, food and service. The staff executed everything we wanted done to the finest detail. We can't thank Three Blue Ducks and Mon enough for making our day even more perfect than we imagined!!
We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at Three Blue Ducks, it was absolutely amazing, the staff, the food the venue, all of it was perfect. Amanda our event coordinator was amazing and always so helpful and responsive. We couldnât recommend Three Blue Ducks more highly.
Really great experience dining at Three Blue Ducks for the first time. The service staff are super friendly and really knowledgeable about the food and drinks and great at recommending dishes and pairings. I dined with my sis for her birthday lunch, we ordered the sourdough with chicken skin butter (oh gosh that butter was so bloody good - whipped to perfection and so tasty), the kingfish tostada (by far my fav - super fresh Mexican flavours), pork croquette (deep fried shredded pork) and the pumpkin orecchiette (really good, great pumpkin flavour). For dessert we had the blood orange cheesecake which was an absolute winner - fresh and tangy and super light. Itâs a really great place for any occasion or just a casual lunch or dinner with friends. Canât wait to go back for their spring menu đ parking onsite either directly in front or in the cannery paid car work

We had our ceremony and wedding reception at Three Blue Ducks Roseberry. We had the most perfect evening. The venue, the food and the whole vibe was spectacular.
Leading up to the wedding, our event coordinator Amanda was absolutely amazing. She was patient and lovely through the whole process and very accommodating to any changes. On the night, she and the whole team put on an awesome show. All the guests were raving about the taste and the portion sizes, as well the service provided by the staff on the evening. Not forgetting how beautiful the venue itself is!
We could not have asked for anything else. It was the perfect evening and we would highly recommend Three Blue Ducks for every occasion. We will definitely be going back as it is definitely on of our favourite places to eat.
