By far my favourite roof top bar in Sydney! The ambience, the vibe, the cocktail list are all great. My fave cocktail would have to be the coco mango, hands down the best cocktail I’ve ever had! Can’t wait to come back when I’m in Sydney.
The views are beautiful here and comfortable sofa seating options. They’ve got a vast drinks menu with interesting cocktails. The canapés offers here are alright...pretty average.
Dropped by here for a quick drink with a colleague. What a superb view, and a great place to sip on a G&T. We didn’t try the food this time around, but will do next time. Service was great, and drink was good. It got crowded quickly even on a week night which was not surprising based on the views. Will definitely be back!
Quite and cozy place with an amazing rooftop view, right adjacent to the darling harbour. Food items ordered were very well prepared and presented. The service was very good with courteous staff.
Great cocktails and one of the best views in Sydney
Customer service goes above and beyond with the bar manager.
Ambience is good and it has an elegant vibe.
One of the best bars in Sydney
I’m genuinely surprised that Sydney doesn’t have more rooftop bars considering the harbour views. We definitely found a goodie to drink some cocktails in. Giant punch bowl big enough for 4 ✅ perfect seats in the house ✅ harbour views ✅ Got to try some snacks next time.
This place is amazing ! Best roof top bar in Sydney with the best views of darling harbour, service is great and the quality of everything from cocktails to snacks is perfect, atmosphere is amazing so relaxing and intimate can’t fault this place
I came here on a Saturday night with some friends during the opening of the Vivid lights and the night time view here is amazing! It was very busy and difficult to find a seat without a booking. Also, the dress code here is smart casual.
Ordered the Strawberry Spritz cocktail $21. It is a strong drink so you’ll definitely get your money’s worth if you’re looking for a good night!
Otherwise, great location and view! I’ll be back to try their food menu.
Zephyr is an amazing rooftop bar on the top of Hyatt Regency. The drinks and food we ordered went perfectly together as we watched the sunset and city transition from evening to night.
Tips: Bring sunglasses and wear them unless you’re going at night. The light floods into the semi open rooftop bar and if you happen to be closer to the open end, you’ll definitely be needing it otherwise you will be squinting the entire time which was what happened to me. Don’t worry you won’t look silly, pretty much everyone wore sunglasses there including the staff.
Ordering: They ask if you want to leave your credit/debit card with them and they place it in a sleeved album so that whatever drinks and food you order through the night just gets added to the card. This saves time swiping or tapping your card every time - a feature of convenience and to enhance the chill environment of this rooftop bar. You pay for everything at the end and get your card back at the end too.
Drinks:
•Zephyr colado - aged rum, cold pressed pineapple juice, coconut water, Coco Lopez, fresh coconut & carmelised coconut
•Berry G&T - Tanqueray 10 gin, fresh berries, cinnamon, lemon & lime
Food:
•Housemade dips - spicy eggplant, sweet potato, cashew & flat bread
•Charcuterie board - locally sourced cold cuts, lavash, pickles & fruit chutney
The cocktails were lovely and was just perfect if you’re hanging out and relaxing with someone or a group of people. However, the zephyr colada which is their house signature cocktail is their take on pina colada was expensive but it did taste really good with the pineapple really coming through the drink. It was actually a little strong but I think it should be fine.
The small plates we got were delicious with our cocktails. The flat bread was nice to dip into the sweet potato and egg plant dip. While the cold meats were a wonderful accompaniment with the dips.
If there is one thing I absolutely love about Sydney, it is the harbour views. Watching the sunset in the distance, and seeing the water around Darling Harbour is such a beautiful sight, and something I truly cherish. . One place that offers stunning views in Sydney if Zephyr, a rooftop bar at the Hyatt Regency in Sydney. Honestly, it is one of my favourite roof-top bars around here, particularly during the week when it isn't too busy and I can get a lovely seat with a beautiful view and sip away at tasty cocktails. Occasionally you will even find a few big names relaxing up here, most recently I stumbled upon a very casual looking Kevin Peterson (for any of the cricket fans reading).
Zephyr is one of the latest rooftop bars to join Sydney. Offering some excellent views of Darling Harbour, it’s become a popular after-work drinks location on a Friday night. Recently the bar launched a Sunday Brunch option and we went along one Sunday to check it out. As we were seated we were each served a glass of Moet and Chandon Rose Imperia which was lovely to sip on as we took in the sunny Sunday view.We were then served our entree, Farmer’s granola, yala yoghurt and berries. This was a great way to start the meat. The granola was nice and crunchy and the textures contrasted well.
A really cool rooftop bar - amazing cocktails and tapas style food. It is extremely pricy but worth it for the views. Make sure you’re dressed well and potentially ready for a bit of a wait.
Great view and undoubtedly one of the best rooftop bars in Sydney. Modern, classy decor with a stool table overlooking Darling Harbour and lounge areas to suit a variety of ocassions.
[invite] Bianca: It’s no secret we like a cheeky tipple here at FFS. And we’re constantly on the hunt for cool little bars but that usually involves a caveat and that is, they also have to serve some substantial food. We like our liquor but we like food even more!. And when you can combine it all with a view, even better. Perched on the twelfth floor of the Hyatt Regency Hotel is Zephyr Bar. The space is super impressive, overlooking Darling Harbour, there is ample seating with private hidey holes and you never really feel like you’re in each other’s pockets. Which is quickly becoming one of my least favourite things about Sydney dining/bars. We visited Saturday day and while the music was going, I think it’s one of those places you truly appreciate in the evening with the lights across the city twinkling.
Fantastic view from the rooftop. Great place for after work drinks. I have to come back during summer though, it was a bit cold it there tonight. Great choice of drinks though.
The views of this place are well worth the trip to get a drink!
We didn't eat here but the atmosphere was great. We got a couple of beers and mojitos, relaxed in the big comfy chairs and enjoyed the view of Sydney.

It may have only been open a few short weeks but Zephyr has already impressed the cocktail slinging masses. The Hyatt Regency Sydney’s resident boozer is also the antithesis of a stereotypical hotel bar.
Open to the sky, the rooftop bar is named after the Greek word for ‘mild breeze’, and with luxury dripping from the walls and plenty of light winds, you could fool yourself into thinking you’re on a lavish yacht in the Mediterranean. The nautical-themed Zephyr bar rivals its cross-city counterpart Hacienda. However, this time you get views of Darling Harbour. (I know Anzac Bridge is not ‘The Bridge’ but as a second choice it’s not bad).
The drinks list is also not bad. Vermouth and rum star, plus there’s a healthy selection of wine, aperitifs, digestives and frozen cocktails.
Zephyr literally means a soft gentle breeze. In Sydney’s newest upscale hotel the Hyatt Regency, it is the name given to a roof top bar with an open-air setting, elegant stylish décor, and best of all, a stunning view of Sydney and Darling Harbour that simply can’t be topped in the area.
The newest rooftop bar offering for Sydney. Excellent wine list, great variety of cocktails, expansive spirit selection, and the bar food we ordered was delicious. Hubs enjoyed a few Sullivan's Cove Double Cask whisky on the rocks whilst I had a glass of Perrier Jouët and a couple of glasses of an Australian rosé from Gundagai which was divine. Bar food choices of half a dozen sydney rock oysters; truffle, mushroom and Parmesan arancini; plus salt and pepper squid.
The drinks and the team that make them do a great job. Very fast and professional and it's good to see them making the cocktails in front of you with such ease. We will definitely come Back again.
Amazing view and great service however the guy next to us kept vaping and security didn’t do enough to stop him.
We ordered a watermelon and cucumber gin soda cocktail from the menu however very disappointing as the watermelon and cucumber was just garnish and it wasn’t infused or anything special so it might as well have been a gin and soda and I would have paid half the price.
Waiters we very tentative and service was great. Food was delivered just expensive compared to serving size.
Would recommend for the view but for nothing else.
Cocktails are top notch here. Service is fantastic friendly staff. This fabulous roof top bar one of the best in Sydney. Beautiful views of Darling Harbour and Barangaroo. On a clear day the sunsets are just something else. By night it is magical. This place is popular and it’s a great place to take out of town guests and the like. Have been here several times.
Great rooftop bar. I did not try all of them, but I bet it's one of the best in Sydney. The view of the sunset is lush. Drinks are good, a little bit pricey, but the view pays back. I have been here already a few times and never was disappointed. Best if you choose a day with a clear sky and poor wind.
Best rooftop bar in Sydney. I have been here a few times and is a great bar for some sunset drinks. Looking West so best vantage point for Sydney sunsets.
Had the Wagyu Beef Sliders on my last visit. Yummy. So good. Next time I will try their Duck pancakes.
Very friendly staff.
We had a work event at Zephyr Sydney and hosted an evening cocktail party. The venue was impressive, food was great and the sunset was one of the best I’ve seen over Darling Harbour! The only negative was that there was no designated room for the event, instead an area was clumsily sectioned off (at the far end of the venue) with seats / lounges dividing the space. It would have been five star if the host installs retractable glass or screening in the future. Otherwise great location, central and staff were friendly and accomodating. Thank you
The rooftop bar we went to because the staff recommended it when I stay in Hyatt regency hotel. The sunset view was nice, and the service of the staff was perfect.
I called last minute on Sunday to see if I could book a table however you can’t make a booking on the day but the lovely lady on the phone told me what would be a good time to come in so we could be seated without a booking. Once we arrived it was a short wait to be seated and we had the lovely Juliana looking after us for most if the evening. She was even super accommodating when we had some friends that wanted to come a little but later so she organised for us to move to a bigger table to seat us all. I’m so grateful for the team there assisting me and my friends when it was a super last minute idea and we had no booking. On top of the incredible service, the cocktails are delicious, and the view is breathtaking. I would 100% recommend a visit, especially on a nice day at sunset.
