Maggie's Thai - Sydney - Photo album

Came here for a Thursday night dinner and the place was packed which I thought was a good sign. Once we ordered, we waited a bit for our entree (chicken satays) to arrive, for context the next door table was seated after us and got their entrees first. It would be easy to walk past this unassuming hole in the wall. There isn’t much room and the decor isn’t fantastic. While walking past you might wonder why it’s so packed. The reason is, the food is amazing here. The service is variable. I’ve been at times when the service is fantastic and attentiv
Good service, nice casual food and location, always busy, good quality, affordable Thai food. Curries and stir fry’s are recommended, plus the specials are always worth trying. Food definitely outshines the fitout, although the fitout makes this only a place local knowledge will take you 👍🏼
Its a cosy little place and the food is quite tasty. The problem I had with it was that it’s not good value for money. The stir fries all cost over $20 and they don’t even come with rice or noodles. An Erskineville legend....casual and cheerful and always buzzing. The menu is quite small, but always interesting. There's some great Thai home cooking. It's BYO, plenty of places to buy wine etc. close by. It's street level, so the acess is not a problem. You probably need to book...gets busy.
Delicious, authentic Thai food. Absolutely loved it and will be going back again and again. Staff were very friendly and Maggie is a total legend!
Wow. The crispy pork belly and Asian vegetables is to die for. Sooo good. Can’t wait to go back. Thanks
