Already tried Crispy skin chicken with dry noodle and it's delicious, very friendly service, great ambient, reasonable price, definitely coming back.
The rice with pork chop and fried egg was very tasty. I struggle to find decent vietnamese food in the city. I haven’t tried their other dishes but I will come back for this one.
Quick service and friendly staff (?).
Anyways, the food seems to be quite good, i ordered one of their phos which another person also mentioned, tasted msg-ish. Other than that, i think I would come back!
Not many people know this place but luckily I found it today.
It's hiding in the small ally way next to the pepper lunch. It's hard to find a good pho place around world squre area so I walked around during lunch and found this place by accident.
Tried beef combination and the soup was so delicious and I can tell there is no smg inside.
Portion is decent and price is only 12.5 for the combination pho.
I browsed the Skyview Plaza in search for a good place to eat, and Pho LV caught my eye as it was quite busy and the menu appeared very appetising to me. I got a vegetable pho with egg noodles in chicken broth for a very cheap $11. The bowl was absolutely gigantic. This place boasts their excellent value for money along with delicious food. The soup was steaming hot with plentiful amounts of fresh veggies, and the noodles were tasty and brought me right back to my childhood; I grew up eating egg noodles. I also liked being given the choice of rice or egg noodles. They also give you some complimentary bean sprouts with lime and herbs. A word of advice: sit inside to avoid the draft Everytime the sliding door opens.
Beautiful food! Very fresh and tasty selection. Convenient location just off George St. Friendly staff and sufficient amenities. Good fast service, and doggy bags available! One of the best, authentic Vietnamese restaurants I've found!
Came here for the airconditioning in the 35 degree heat. The food was surprisingly more pleasent than I had expected. I ordered the Vermicille bowl with Grilled Pork and Spring Rolls for $13.50. The grilled pork was so tender and flavourful. Not a lot of options on the menu but needless to say, I will come back (mostly for the aircon).
Each roll was packed with prawns, eggs and mint leaves with the noodles a lesser component of the filling. The reverse ratio of a few other establishments I've been to recently. The dipping sauce had the extra kick of what I think was pineapple juice in addition to the standard hoi sin and fish sauce.

If we were proper food critics we'd be sitting here scratching our heads wondering what an earth do we write about Pho LV? The food is pretty good like most hole-in-the-wall Vietnamese joints, not the kind of place to make a trip across town for, but certainly a good option if you're in the area (or the queue at Menya Mappen is too long). How would we fill a 400 word review when we've only got two: "pretty good"?
This being my first experience of pho, I have nothing to compare this place to. What I can say is that the beautiful aniseed flavours of the broth, combined with juicy, tender beef and fresh herbs was wonderfully delicious. The portion was huge too. I would definitely visit again if I was in Sydney.
Love this Pho. I love this Pho, the Vietnamese Cafe Sua Da is excellent, the food is always great and very reasonably priced in City area
Delicious Pho right in Sydney CBD. I went to this restaurant very often as my work nearby.
The pho taste's very nice, service is quick. This place's very busy at lunch, but you always can find seat.
Yes to Pho but no to summer rolls. This place serves up a pretty good pho, but expect city prices, a standard beef pho will set you back about $10. The egg noodle soup with crispy chicken my friend ordered looked pretty good, but the summer rolls are not the best in the city, needed quite a bit of dipping sauce. Very fast service makes it a great stop for lunch if you work near by.
