The food is excellent and is good value for money. We had the seafood platter for three and the seafood and meat platter for three. There were 7 of us and we couldn’t finish everything. The service is wonderful and the atmosphere gives off a strong family, chaotic vibe. Good for a night where you need a little hype. Would recommend and will be bag.
Santorini is all about the food. Mixed Grill for two was great and was more than enough. Everything was cooked expertly and with the flavours that you would expect having being cooked over fire.
The dining room is a large size and we were fortunate to get a table without having a reservation. There was a large group dining at the same time and it meant that the restaurant was very loud - perhaps not an ideal location for an intimate date.
The service was efficient but not extraordinary. If anything could be improved it would be to include menu prices on their website. it is hard to budget ahead without knowing what the prices are. We paid $95 for the mixed grill for two and $19 for the Saganaki.
Overall, if you are after great Greek food, Santorini is worth a visit.
Santorini is becoming one of our favourite places to go at the moment. The Seafood and meat are always perfectly cooked.
Good quality seafood and meat, grilled tenderly. A bit pricey and very hard to find parking, however, the fresh+large menu and venue do make up for this.
Authentic, hearty and warm service! Made me feel like I was back in Greece again. My favourite was the flaming Saganaki (melted cheese that they set on fire with ouzo) and the Grilled Octopus. Lamb shoulder is also a highlight, super tender. Will definitely be back.
Food was very good! The service was a tad slow but we were a very big group so that’s probably fair. They were very kind to us and the set menu was delicious and more than enough food.
Santorini at Oxford will transport you straight to Greece! The flaming saganaki is super epic and I especially loved the delicious Kataifi prawns. The mixed meat grill plate was also so fulfilling, with all the souvlaki and meat hot off the grill. The food here really feels like traditional authentic Greek food made with lots of care.
