Wow! All decorations are quite cozy and lovely and they even provide the wifi and the speed is quite fast too.
Also, I love itâs coffee which are quite authentic and the latte art is well prepared.

Bannie was great! Definitely one of the few poachies I have had in Sydney! Also I just had the most fancy banana bread I have had! It was toasted to perfection. Crispy outside and tender inside. Sweet fruit and pistachio ricotta topping makes it even better! Their cooking speed was very low though, they had only a few customers atm. đ€ Xihuahua đ¶ I was going to give them four but I will make an exception this time, their food made it up.

Today, I wandered with friends over to Clipper Cafe in the beautiful Sydney suburb of Glebe! Thereâs something exciting about how this cafe integrates timber with tile, a sleek but still earthy vibe. The bikes hanging from the wall were a certainly an interesting touch!

This cafe is always busy on the weekend, just minutes away from the Glebe Markets. Small, cute layout of a cafe with different seating ranges to accomodate small and large groups, family friendly, pretty quick service and friendly staff. The food portions were generous and very tasty! My chorizo baked eggs was delicious, plenty of chorizo and eggs cooked to perfection. Nothing too extremely special but definitely good food!

After we entered the cafe, we were first offered a narrow seat (having long legs is a problem guys) fortunately one of the waitress notices our discomfort and suggested another larger table(thank god) and finally we ordered our food! Even though it took some time but it was worth the wait! The free range eggs omelette and clipper gnocchi were so so delicious that we finished the dishes with least amount of talkđ

I love there pancakes! Itâs hard to do a good pancake and these guys do it well. You get plenty of food and it tastes so good that it doesnât make me feel guilty for having so much sugar in the morning. The service is great and the decor is super cute as well.
Really cute little place with interesting decor! Loved my baked eggs with lamb sausage. The sausages were so fresh and not lamby at all. Tastes so good with extra black pepper. The soy latte is the best I have ever had in Sydney and I rate 5 out of 5 for the coffee. Very very sweet staff, so polite and sweet. Surely will be back!

Coffee was great! I have tried a lot of coffee at different places and the ones here are fantastic. Great texture in the mouth and beans are fragrant. Food is exceptional too with good price. Would recommend coming here. Service is friendly and welcoming
Clipper Café is one of my favorite spots to go to for brekkie and to study. They have wifi which is always nice to find as a Uni student. Staff is always friendly and everything on the menu is good. Try the pancakes, they're the perfect combination of sweet and savory.
Ordered a breakfast pudding and a latte. Must say, the slices of strawberry were delicately arranged with small coconut shavings. The taste of the pudding was just right, slightly leaning towards the stronger side - "that's what I like" (I don't like bland food).
Their coffee was just about ok, I think I was sitting outside so I didn't get the fresh whiff of coffee aroma, the taste was slightly on the weaker side. I guess it's just me, I prefer strong and robust coffee aroma and taste.
Not the cheapest place though.. I guess you can say that about most cafes đ€Ł

The latte was done very well this time.
Ordered baked eggs with smoked cod and sour dough - good presentation but the cod was slightly salty. Other than that, a satisfying meal. Oh and It had a Nice and lumpy tomato base sauce!
A small cafe located on Glebe Point Road. A few people sitting outside as it was a lovely day with the majority seated inside. The service was delightful and ever so helpful. Water brought immediately to the table.
There were a few interesting choices and went with Prosciutto Eggs to eat and a Clipper Chocolate to drink. The poached eggs had a nice runny yolk with a delicious tomato chutney and prosciutto underneath. The pecorino cheese added a nice bite to the dish. I especially enjoyed the hot chocolate made with coconut milk. It was creamy and had a great flavour to it.
An absolute gem in Glebe. I'm yet to have a better eggs benedict in Sydney. The baked eggs is also a really good option here. Needless to say, their coffee is great. Service is attentive and very friendly.
After an exhausting Saturday morning of bargain hunting at Glebe markets a trip to Clipper was just what we needed! Avocado toast and Home-made baked beans w poached eggs and halloumi were both great choices! Replenishing juices and great coffees too. Thoroughly a great cafe I would recommend with a huge menu to choose from! Very friendly staff also! Enjoy!
Iconic local cafe in glebe from its cool menu, to the charming decor and friendly staff, there's so much this place has to offer. I had the salmon, poached and avocado on toast ($13) and a soy latte. Both were super delicious & if you can grab a seat, I definitely reccomend coming here!!

This cozy cafe was the perfect choice for our Sunday brunch. The menu had extensive breakfast options and plenty of yummy lunch stuff too. I settled on eggs with mushrooms and pesto with a side of chorizo, and green tea. The eggs were perfectly poached and the mushrooms with well seasoned and plentiful, and the chorizo went will it perfectly. I wasnt used to the pesto on the side but really enjoyed it.
The staff were great, the kitchen had a slip up with my friends meal and the manager gave us a discount along with a sincere apology - this was really appreciated.
The service was quick considering the place was very busy and our meals were very generous.
The no split bill was a hassle but a minor complaint.
Great coffee here at this cafe and the food was definitely something worth coming back for. Ordered the clipper gnocchi with the pesto and it came with 2 slices of herb bread. The gnocchi was cooked perfectly although I needed to add a bit of salt on it as it was a little bit on the light side for me. Definitely would like to try their other items next time.

On a gloomy, miserable day I walked past Clipper twice before deciding to bite the bullet and ask a packed out cafe for a table of 1. The girl who served me was the calmest and most pleasantly comfortable waitress I've ever encountered. She ushered me to a lone table between the barista and an ATM (yes, they have one) and immediately set up water and menus.
The detox juice ($6) arrived quickly but food took a fair while. During this time I observed the coffee orders go by and am quietly confident I've found the problem for our dairy farmers... The whole of Sydney are drinking soy-based everything! The barista (who appears to be the manager) was fantastic and definitely ran a tight ship. Not only was he flat out grinding and frothing (no puns intended), but he kept tabs on takeaway orders and had eyes on all tables to ensure no one was kept waiting unnecessarily.
Baked eggs that eventually arrived was worth the wait. The sauce was sloppy with a slight glaze from the sugar, while the eggs had just congealed and were still wobbly. Added chorizo was also a generous portion and not over baked. The Napoli sauce did become a bit sour, but accompanying herb bread made for great dipping. This is a great winter dish but its selling point has to be the $13 price tag.
Ordered a Chicken Panini ($9.50) to takeaway and although the bread was not toasted and rather tough (recent dental work makes everything painful to eat), the flavours of the chilli Mayo really accentuated the poached chicken and avocado. All the waitresses were phenomenal and really bend over backwards to ensure their customers are looked after. When I dropped my phone and couldn't manoeuvre out of my seat to get it, the staff swooped in and saved the day. Can't wait to return and try their famous gnocchi!
This quaint cafe serves delightful food at a great affordable price! We definitely recommend the meatballs gnocchi ($12) as the dish is wonderfully rich in flavour and the side of toast provides a lovely crunch.
Sunday mornings here are crazy busy! We were seated at the commune table where hipster 1 yelled at hipster 2 all through brekky. This place is loud. It's bustling with hipster locals as well as Uni students. The food here was pretty decently priced too and the service pretty good. I suspect that the quality of the food would be better on a less busy day but the food we got wasn't too bad. I am nit picking here but the poached eggs were more hard boiled and the rest somewhat cold BUT it still tasted delicious nonetheless. They have a variety of foods on the menu that are unique and ranges from indulgent to super healthy. I also recommend the chai latte it is one of the best I've had in a while. I am definitely coming back to try the rest of the menu.
Came here a lot as a uni student. The chicken panini is delicious and I absolutely loved the tropical smoothie. I've also had the smashed avocado on toast but how wrong can you go with that? It's a small place so it is hard to get a table at times and you may have to wait a bit for your food but it is worth it.

Quirky cafe with interesting smoothies. I was skeptical of my boyfriend's choice of "Emerald" smoothie but it was surprisingly good - actually even better than my safe choice of berries smoothie.
Salmon tartare was okay. Gluten-free pancakes were delicious!
I bought a Groupon for this café & all I can say was that it was fantastic. Highly recommend. Smoothies were excellent & the food was also excellent. I had the Tiger Prawn Salad & my partner had the Mushroom Pesto Salad with haloumi instead of fetta & he loved it. He had coffee & really liked it. Highly recommend.
Clipper is a cute little cafe that serves good food. It's usually hard to get a table, and the food does take a while to come out but the food is tasty, very filling, and good value.
I recommend the gnocchi! It's absolutely beautiful. Their baked eggs are awesome too.
Just beware they have a $20 eftpos minimum if you don't normally carry cash. :)

Came here for a mid week lunch. Ordered the gnocchi and lamb salad, our food took a long time to be served but everything was top notch. My friend and I were very happy with the quality and price. Overall, great value for the food. Will be back for more
I love this quaint old European style cafes, especially the ones that have all day breakfast menus. This was no different. The decor was quite interestingly done with bicycles hanging overhead and a little cozy setting under an alcove (the pictures posted didnt do justice). The food we had was really good. The menu has a good variety and in an affordable range. I had the eggs with pesto and mushroom and i never knew that this combination can co-exist. The smoothies were thick and that itself was good enough to have a full stomach.
Had Clipper after a whole night working. Pumpkin soup warmed my whole body and refreshed my mind. Soft poached egg with cheese, avocado and spinach made the healthiest start in the morning. Also tried the pancake and lamb salad last time. Good portion and very satisfied :)

Located on the top of Glebe Point Road (Broadway side), Clipper Cafe is one of the quirkier establishments in this neck of the woods. I havenât been to Glebe in a long while. I love it when the opportunity arises to visit somewhere old, and discover something new. This was another sunny Sunday in Sydney and waking up from a massive hangover from a henâs night in the city the night before, I needed breakfast â pronto. Glebe Point Road is a lively stretch filled with cafes and restaurants. My friend recommended we visit Clipper Cafe, and to be honest I was okay with anything as long as they served fresh juice. In a party of 6, there was a little wait. But the wait I didnât mind â soaking in the sunshine, watching adorable dogs play along the footpath, and the cafe even provides seating out side whilst you wait. As they have some communal tables, the wait was no longer than half an hour.
Clipper Cafe is a gem in Glebe that reminds me of a sunny afternoon in Santorini. It is somewhere that I wouldnât mind spending the whole afternoon in while daydreaming my next holiday.

Glebe is the next suburb from Ultimo and is one of the oldest suburbs in Sydney. The streets in Glebe are lined up with old style terraces, which are rows of semi-detached, similar looking yet unique small townhouses. I occasionally wanted to go a bit further at lunch times and I often ended up in Glebe. If you are coming from the Ultimo side, just walk pass the Broadway mall then you would have brought yourself to Glebe!

It's always packed. I've had other food there and it's been a bit hit and miss. I had a bit of an infatuation with the baked eggs, but various times it's been overcooked, or they've forgotten the cheese (blasphemy - baked eggs always, always needs cheese) so it's just set me up for nothing but bitter disappointed. So I've switched over to the panini, which are a little bit more boring looking but are a whole lot more reliable.
The internal decor makes a child stare in wonder and asks questions. Why is that bicycle hanging on the wall? Whose creative art pieces are being displayed? At times it feels like in a gingerbread cottage, at others like in a bohemian community. There are many twenty-somethings and choices for seating, from sofas to high chairs and pavement tables. The maritime theme can be felt. The weather forecast is lovingly drawn in chalk. Food and drinks are prepared behind a partition, and yet one with a window. If you look the other way, you can immerse in the street life that is Glebe, not far from the intersection with Broadway and Parramatta Roads. And yes, Ben & Jerry's ice cream in small tubs are also available from the cafe fridge.
Needless to say, my skim latte was topped with the perfect amount of velvety foam and deliciously smooth.
Overall I enjoyed my breakfast but it simply did not compare to my repeat experiences at Bills. The coffee however was very good. Oh, and by the way just a little heads up if you go there â they are cash only so bring your wallet.
I ordered the poached eggs on toasted ciabatta with prosciutto and tomatoes. It was a tasty combination with the eggs oozing over everything else. Not advertised on the menu, there was a sauce smeared on the ciabatta. I couldn't quite worked out what exactly it was, but it was the star that brought everything together. Not as peppery as brown sauce or smokey as barbecue sauce it was somewhere in the middle. The only disappointment for me was that the salad on the side hadn't been dressed.

We have been hearing good things about Clipper CafĂ© for a long while now and as such have made a couple of attempts to visit. We tried mid week, we tried weekend and all to no avail as the place is always packed. We arrive & all the outside seating is taken - this does not bode well. However on glancing through the front window, we can't believe it, the place is practically empty. We grab a table & perch on a couple of high stools (Buggles & Squeak are vertically challenged, so high stools scare us a little), order coffee & look over the menu. During my first couple of years at Sydney Uni, a 2 hour break between classes meant a visit to King St in Newtown for $6 Thai. It was cheap and it was filling, but I found myself going there less and less especially in my third and fourth years at uni. Perhaps my palate became more discerning, or perhaps I just got sick of eating the same pad thai and pad see ew day in and day out, but I ventured away from the Thai places in Newtown and into the cafes on Glebe Point Road.
Cute little cafe. Came here by myself one day for brunch on a weekday. The coffee was good. The bircher muesli was absolutely delicious - lovely honey flavour, poached pears and strawberry. Yum! Would pop by if I was in the area again.

Bad customer service. I come back again and again for their coffee and pastry. Easily top of the list in my cafe favourites. However, the experience in the shop is not a good one everytime. They really need to work on their customer service.
