Great place and great food! Service good too. Highly recommended.
Their baby pork ribs are amazing, and their wraps too. Burgers are mighty just like thier names “Mighty burgers”. Friendly space to eat in.
Good service! The staff helped us to go through the incredibly ridiculous app of theirs to get the first timer groupon voucher to worked. Xihuahua 🐶 got upset by the process. The crispy chicken was so tender. Mighty aussie got a huge juicy patty and was super satisfying. The loaded fries was tiny... the top is taboli salad, shaved cheese and sauce. Different recipe compared to the rocks restaurant.
Okay..so I am a vegetarian and hunting for good vegetarian food is my everyday job in Sydney. It’s like my part-time job. That said, I came across this joint. The size of the burger was huge; stacked with loads of veggies and grilled halloumi cheese. The taste was amazing. And everything seemed so fresh. I tried the chips too and those were nicely coated with sea salt. Their aioli dip with chips was good.
Good burgers that dont disappoint. Charred flavour was there, perfect amount of sauce and juiciness to the burgers. Better than the burgers that Grill'd are cooking up!
I was wondering some Asian food for lunch but can’t find anything nice at The Central Park shopping mall. Then I persuaded myself just grab a quick bite - burger.
Old school Chinese burger 🍔
Taste is rich and the proportion between bon, cheese and beef is balance. $10.9 is quite worthy. Cheese are melted nicely!
But, only comparing the beef cheese burger between ‘ribs and burger’ and ‘Forgo’, I have to admit that Forgo’s cheese burger are nicer - softer butter bon, larger, nicer sauce (mushrooms sauce).

Whose also a bbq rib lover as us 🙋🏻
@ribsandburgers is a great place to go! We really enjoyed their beef ribs, they are well marinated and easy to eat, especially loved the taste of the signature bbq sauce 💗 Also, the wagyu burger is a must, the patty is juicy and a good match with their chips 🍟

We order the limited 'Deadpool' burger which consist of two beef patty, cheese, slice purple onion, 2 slice of pickles and their bbq sauce. The size of the burger is smaller than I expected but overall really tasty. The loaded chips is so good, it has chill mayo sauce drizzle over the chip with salsa and shredded cheese mix and it was quite fulfilling.
One of the most popular eateries in Central and for good reason. Really can't go wrong with the burgers here, though I would still suggest trying Fogo next door for something truly special.
Amazing pork ribs, service is minimal but the price is decent. The slaw and fries were also great. They didn’t have any ice for my drink which was disappointing
I don't know whether it's because I was really starving when I came to this place. I really think their food is kinda delicious.
After a whole day class, I really could eat a horse, so when my friend and I came to Central Park, when we saw ribs, burgers we decided to give this place a try.
The burger we ordered was BUTCHER’S ORIGINAL. No more than 11 bucks with a decent flavour, this is a bargain. The patty was not very juicy but was better than we expected. The ribs was nice, nice flavoured. Although the regular ribs is not quite enough for a hungry girl, haha.
Anyway, a decent food with a reasonable price, a good place for casual eat.
Ribs were sensational!! Sweet potato chips to dye for!! Definitely will be back next time we visit Sydney And awesome service too!! Thanks so much
Staff : courteous staff and had great knowledge about the menu. They did offer a lot of suggestions before I asked for the "which is the biggest burger you've got? " .
Ambience : situated at the heart of Central Park in Chippendale, this place is live. Clean and well managed.
Food : One of the best fries I've had these days. I went for the Angus burgers which were really good. But, I personally had more love for the chicken grilled burger.
8/10.
Had the vegetarian burger, it was pretty good, decent size portion. Chips were nice and are a large serving. We arrived 5 mins before they were closing at 10pm and were allowed to order (take away only), which was really good as we were very hungry :)
I had my all time favorite Old School Cheese burger and it was as good as ever. The onion rings were addictive too with free flowing sauce. Great price and quick service. One of my to go for burgers!
This place always to go destination for casual burger ribs experience.
With South African heritage, "secret basting" to go with steak that give savory taste and basting for ribs that give sweet caramelization on the rack.
Chili pork ribs, nice glaze with hint of chili .. something different from common sweet glaze.
Ribs and 2 sliders combo,
You can choose between pork ribs or beef ribs, and the sliders can be either beef or chicken.
Pork Riblets is a nice option too.
Riblets it's basically are prepared by butchers by cutting a full set of spare ribs approximately in half, but recent years have become popular due to their excellent flavor and lower cost.
Beef ribs are definitely better than the pork ribs in terms of tenderness and flavour too in my opinion. But both are good, chips are also fresh and crispy and go really well with the sauces they give you. The beef butchers slider is good too, nice smoky flavour.
Loved the food. Everything was filling. Burgers were delicious and juicy. The fries were crispy and perfect. My only negative feedback was the onion rings, too oily. Other then that, would definitely come back again.
When i go to central park, i usually stop by at this resto for lunch. Ribs and burgers it is! Their baby pork ribs is the best, succulent and tender. Big servings and just the right price. burgers are outstanding too, crispy chips and good customer service. If you're hungry and want a big serving, this is the place for you. You can also use your bare hands to eat without worrying how dirty it is coz they have a hand washing area with all the sauces and amenities. Would recommend.
Wow those wings!
Burgers weren't bad though I certainly would love to dine there just for their wings.
I ordered the wagyu burger which was surprisingly tall in height! It was a little puzzling as to how to eat it but I managed. Was decent and would recommend.
My friend ordered the classic chicken which she stated she enjoyed and was extremely satisfied!
But those wings! They were made in smokey sauce and we're absolutely succulent. Great job!
We also ordered fried which were decent too.
Good burgers, the lamb was particularly good, if your hungry try the ribs they won't disappoint. Shakes here are good too. Also a good range of salads if you feel like something lighter.
Was surprised by how good the burgers are! I had the 'Cheeky Chook' Burger with an added American cheese slice (cheese is necessary in my burger order). It was a simple chicken burger with salad, not too many ingredients - but the salad was fresh and the chicken breast was juicy & full of flavour. Also tried the boyfriend's order of Pork ribs - which were very tasty. Staff were friendly + our food came out quickly. This place is definitely worth a visit and the Central Park location is lovely.
$3 burgers come at me! It was their 3rd birthday and had to wait an hour for my order. It wasn't too bad. The beef patty was nice and the sauce was pretty good.
Ribs and Burgers is a chain of restaurants and we visited the store in Central Park, Chippendale. The store is on the bottom level food precinct. It is a large store with booth seating and tables. It was quite busy for a Monday and the staff were effectively dealing with the crowd. I've eaten at Ribs and burgers before, having a small beef pocket burger and the mutant blue burger (for a limited time only), but this time went for something a little different. We got the full rack of pork baby back ribs, the meat was nice and tender, melt in your mouth and the bbq sauce was really nice. The side salad we got was rocket, beetroot, walnuts and fetta, a good sized serving. Nice flavours, just a touch salty. Also got sweet potato fries with aioli. These were crispy and delicious - loved them. I got the cajun chicken burger sans avocado. It had a fresh bun with grains, a succulently cooked piece of chicken with lettuce, cheese, tomato and a generous lashing of chili mayo. I really enjoyed this. On the menu there's heaps of options; beef, bacon, lamb, chicken burgers, ribs, chips, onion rings etc. They also serve beers, soft drinks and milkshakes. The waitress on the counter was super nice, friendly service. The food came out in good time. I think the prices there are very reasonable.
OK, I had to try the Mutant X-Men burger, just for the novelty! Burger was just like the photos looked and the taste was great - very tender and the blue cheese mayo was great (if you like blue cheese). But - ha, ha, ha, it made my poo turn mutant blue for 3 days!!! Great practical joke!
Went in to try the limited edition blue mutant burger - but it was also just my first time ever trying Ribs and Burgers. Nice service, probably the best milo thickshake I've ever had lol. Onion rings were weird, chips were good.
Mutant Ninja!!
This Blue burger will last till the end of October, Ribs & Burger made these burgers to dedicate to the "X-Man" movie coming out on DVD.
This Chicken burger was surprisingly very good, besides getting all blue on your lips and hands the crispy chicken and the combination sauce was pretty good. Need more chilli sauce though! 😄
Limited time, limited offer ... Get it soon!
Until next time ... Keep eating !!!
I don't know how it happened. The plan was to go to Dulwich Hill and get pho. I ended up in the city wanting a hamburger.
When I got to central park, texted my partner and we decided to give this place a go. I went inside and looked at the menu. I found it somewhat confusing. What is a pocket? Is it the burger by itself without the roll? Decided that it was too hard and randomly picked a burger. So I ordered two cheese and bacon burgers, sweet potato fries, a beer, and an apple cider.
We sat outside and our burgers came pretty quickly. They were yummy and had a fair amount of bacon on them. Our sweet potato fries came out. They were ok. Pricey but well above average in quality. They were uniformly cut and well cooked. I am going to stop ordering sweet potato chips/fries. I don't really like them and I should get more enjoyment out of them to be worth the calorie spend.
In all it was pretty good.
Great location and service.
Burgers are very nice, ribs are just ok.
They have very nice and thick milo shake too.
Their limited edition Bretzel (beef burger with "pretzel" bun) is not bad. Onion chips are as good as usual (like the one I've tried in the Rocks). Intrigue to try their pavlova thick shake next time :)
All I wanted today was lamb. Do know what's incredibly hard to find in Chippendale? Lamb and pasta. Like noodles & dumplings glore homes. Anyways I was yeah a lamb burger will do but man that lamb burger was fabu. It's served with soft brioche (not sure if I am meant to add bread like chai tea but I digress) tomatoe, lettuce and feta. I love feta and as I bit into the burger I was like why do white people gotta add weird things to lamb like yogurt stop with the yogurt but yo continue adding feta like my bad you guys are really good :) so yeah they do ribs (kinda have to if you include it in the name) and tonnes of other burgers, chips. Seating a plenty outside and in :)
Decent enough. The food was average - nothing to write home about, but no real major complaints. As the price tag suggests, $30 for a full rack of ribs weren't anywhere near as large or as tasty as hurricane's, but you get what you pay for! Therefore, no real complaints. The Cheeseburger was decent, again nothing amazing, but good. Not a bad place to catch up with friends as the music isn't too loud and the seating is good.
Ribs and Burgers? Kinda unique name which caught my eye, although I am a vegetarian.
I wasn't hungry enough for a burger, so I ended up ordering just Onion Rings. The place was pretty crowded, and it took a while for me to get a table. The service wasn't quick, but it didn't take too long either. The onion rings though, were a bit disappointing. It was more salty than required, and wasn't that crisp. But the quantity was really good, though. At just $6, it was pretty cheap.
The place has a nice ambiance and ample seating too, but it's still usually crowded. I will be updating this review after trying their burgers, which I feel would be better than the onion rings anyway.
Food - 2.5/5
Service - 3.5/5
Ambiance - 4/5
Value for money - 4.5/5
Overall - 3.5
The burger is not really expensive. I try the cheap one and the taste is good, i feel happy abou that. Very worth it to try. It didnt serve with chips so you should order seperately if you want burger with chips.
To catch up with a friend, we decided to go to Central Park and settled on Ribs and Burgers, which is located in the dining precinct. I decided on the Original Burger ($10.50), which was made up of a beef patty, shredded Iceberg lettuce, tomato, Spanish onion, dill pickles and pink and BBQ sauce. My friend had the Cheeseburger ($10.50 + $2 for the chips), because she wanted an option without too many greens. She enjoyed it as well, and had a side of chips along with the burger, which had the right amount of salt and seasoning to them.
Very very casual dining, (reminds of an upscale mcdonalds) although the food is better. Not a fan of the burgers, they're OK, ribs are good but probably are 'finished on the grill'.
Had baby back pork and beef ribs separate times. Beef ribs is a large portion, baby back left me wanting more. Not much to say, ribs aren't as good as say Hurricanes, but will satisfy you rib craving.
Onion rings stayed crispy even after takeaway - was nice but a bit greasy.
Been 4 times for the burgers which have always been on point. Lettuce crisp, patty juicy, and the pink sauce is to die for! Really recommend this place over other chain burger joints like grilld.
How can anyone resist a good rack of ribs, we are only human! Normally a tasty rack of ribs at any good quality restaurant come with the price tag to match. Fear no more! Ribs&burgers to the rescue!!!
I've been to ribs&burgers a few times now and each time I leave with total satisfaction that my meat craving has been sufficiently satiated :) With leftover budget for desert!
My favourite is always the lamb rack but the beef rack this time round was yumo! The chips were crunchy and freshly fried.
It's a great place to catch up with friends and dig in - the mess is just all worth it!
Was walking through central park as you do and spotted this place in the corner of my eye and decided to check it out I got the old school cheese burger and was going to get the crunchy potato sticks for an extra $2 however when the guy at the counter showed me the small packet of French fries chips I decided against it and got a side of real French fries instead which I'm glad I did get instead. The wait time to get the food was about 5 mins wait which was pretty good. The French fries was crunchy although not that hot. The burger I had to ask to be cooked well done I found the beef moist and tender but the mustard and cheese a bit messy to eat but felt full after eating will be back. Also glad I didn't order any soft drink as the bottle was around 250ml for $4 better to stick to water.
Juicy succulent burgers. Addictive chips. Indulgent thickshakes. Went to dinner here on a hot evening. The Cajun chicken burger was just the right amount of hot. The bun is very light despite looking quite tough. Would go back for the burgers.
Ribs & Burgers is a good staple burger joint. Its not too fancy and we can always get a table. The cheeseburger is juicy with gooey cheese and tasty mustard. The buns look like they're going to be too doughy but they squash down nicely for easy eating. The chips aren't bad either.
The real winner though is the milo thickshake. This baby is malty, chocolatey, sweet and thick but not so thick that you feel as though you’re about to swallow your tongue. Run, don't walk for this one people.
Came here for lunch and had the full rack beef ribs with chips and also, had the apple and raspberry thickshake. The ribs, in my opinion, tasted pretty average, I was expecting it to taste much better. The chips were awesome though. The thickshake was refreshing and the staff were friendly and attentive. The place offered a great vibe with music playing in the background and is located in the heart of Central Park - Broadway. Overall, its a good place to catch up with friends and I would recommend to all.
Ribs and Burgers looks to be quite a new additional to the Central Park area. It is the perfect cross between a Burger shack, a bar and a restaurant. To be quite obvious, yes they sell both burgers AND ribs. Such a great combination and I am surprised this hasn't been done before. (correct me if I am wrong).
Went here last night, famished, and tried the Old Skool Burger. Very yummy! Took about 15mins to come out, but when it did, the meat patty was thick and juicy with a great combo of sauces. Service was pleasant and sweet. Beware the prices of drinks though.. My tiny coke zero was $4. Will return when I feel like a good burger!
Yummy burgers, the old school cheese is our favourite! The prices are reasonably high for a burger but I feel it's worth it. Service is average but what can you expect from a fast food place. Over all, we return semi- regularly for a burger fix!

To be quite obvious, yes they sell both burgers AND ribs. Such a great combination and I am surprised this hasn't been done before. (correct me if I am wrong).Their setup is quite unique. They give you a watering can with all your cutlery and their special sauces (will get back to those amazing sauces), each with a number to allocate your seating. We thought it was kind of cool!
Okay, now onto those sauces. We ordered an aoili for our large serving of chips and we were fighting over the placement of the saucer. It was amazing.... Then we tried their ready made available sauces in our little watering can and had a total crazy moment for a while. Everything edible some how ended up with sauce on it.. it was not your average Barbeque or Tomato sauce that is for sure.
Up there with the best in Sydney. Been here 4 times now and have never had a dud burger. The most delicious was the Cajun chicken burger, followed by the Mexican beef burger. Real beef, thick patty, lots of flavour. Please open a store in Newtown!
Best chips ever!. Seriously, the chips will be the best you've ever eaten! Nicest with aioli sauce.
The burgers are honestly so juicy and fresh, it will not disappoint!
Negatives are the prices: the burgers do not come with sides or drinks, but if you're willing to splurge a little on quality, this is the place to go! Service can be a little slow during rush hours, maybe 15 mins for a rack of ribs.
Highly recommended, though!
