Can't go wrong with any burgers from these guys. Unlike half-assed joints out there who only serves 1 cheeseburger, 1 chicken burger, and call it a day; these guys ramp up the burger game with loads of choice from bacon, onion rings, heaps of veggie choices, and all these kind of sauces. A must try if you're bored with the half-assed burger joints I mentioned before!
The tastiest cheeseburger I've eaten! From the soft bun to the American cheese, fresh pickles, and the burger patty it's the perfect size, very well done!
And the fries were crispy with the perfect amount of saltiness.

Got this delivered. The burgers are really great if you're craving something indulgent and greasy. The fried chicken was crispy and had a little spice. The buns were soft and pretty light.
The truffle fries were absolutely delicious
Great burger place in the middle of the busy Sydney CBD. Have all kinds of different burgers we had trouble ordering at first because everything sounds delicious.
Ended up with just a PBJ and some fries, did not disappoint! The loaded fries is a perfect combination to all small burgers as it is very fulfilling on its own.
Words can't describe how satisfied we are with their burgers. From the small ones like truffle berry or apollo cheese burger all the way to humongous heisenburger, they're all tasty and on point!
Great burgers, decent price, totally live up to its reputation. They use smash patties - ones that are thin but still juicy. Overall good portion for me! Chips are standard, will try other fancier chips next time.
Good food deserves good review. Was in dire craving of burgers in isolation, ordered them through delivery. Food came fast, and I kid you not was still warm. Recommended 10/10
To be fair they're not the cheapest. But the tastiest? Absolutely! I had them once or twice a month as cheat meal but I feel like I ordered them too much lately...
We loved our burgers and fries! Have been back a couple of times for takeout in this crazy time of COVID19. Lots of flavour!!!!!!!!
The best Burgers in Sydney. Their smash patties are so tasty!
I had the double apollo cheese and it wasn't too filling, good meat to bun ratio. Prices are reasonable, it's not the cheapest but it's definitely worth it!
Highly recommend!
This place is among the best burgers in Sydney. The combination of elements is full of taste and each bite is a smile. The sizes are perfect and will likely fill the hungriest ones. A must have!
Tried the PBJ, burgers are definitely good. Would come back again to try another burger as you can tell they've put a lot of work into their menus. The guy behind the cashier was super friendly as well, no rush.
Nice place to grab quick bites in the city. Chuck Jr. burger would be my go-to, with crunchy onion ring topped with bbq and ranch sauce definitely the burger to die for!
I love fries and the amount of fries you get with a burger meal is ridiculous. Itâs a family sized fries for each meal. Other than that standard burger joint, toasted bun, juicy patty and crunchy lettuce.
I recently ordered Truffle Berry on UBerEats from their Balmain store and I knew I needed to come into their shop to try another one of their burgers in-store. The cashier told me that his favourite burger was the double apollo cheese. I was a little skeptical at first because it looks like such a simple burger but I thought, what the heck. This simple was burger done so perfectly from the meat to the bun and the simple mustard and ketchup combo.Â
Love this place and I'm so eager to come back to try the rest of their menu!

Ordered the truffle berry burger with added beef patty, jalapeños, cheese and additional sauce. The patties were juicy and the flavours of the jelly jam mayo and truffle sauce took it to the next level! Absolutely loved this burger and would highly recommend this!
Great burger venue close to the city with plenty of burger options. Super soft fresh buns, great maple bacon and American cheese is always the best on burgers. Meat blend in the patty was flavoursome and well cooked. The only feedback to give is with a PB & J special there definitely needed to be more PB. Overall very reasonably priced good quality burgers in a laid back environment.

Wasnât a planned visit and came across this place heading to a competitor up the road and decided to give them a shot. Cheeseburger was cooked the way I like it, very generous on the fries and sides. Pricing a little high but not bad
Order the burger here to take away. Its so amazing, juicy and tasty. Im quite into the decorations here but have to go today. Iâll come back soon and definitely try all the burgers here lol
The best burger Ive ever tasted. I tried the mushroom burger with srirachamayo instead. Obviously great look and amazing taste of crispy mushroom melting in every bite. and definitely in love with cozy decor there. Thank you all burger artists.
Wow!Â
Last week, our family including my husband, little daughter and I have been here for lunch. We've ordered O.G Chicken, Peace Out burger, and Eazy-E. My kid really loved the O.G Chicken which was crunchy and chicken is tenderized. That is the only reason that she was able to eat whole. It worths the price of our choice.
The shop has modern designs; good atmosphere with music playing for the latest songs. In addition, the staffs are very welcome and friendly.Â
I highly recommend this shop. We'll come back here soon!
Came here with a couple of mates a few days ago and tbh I wasn't expecting much. I hadn't heard much about them, but the decor of the shop looked pretty cool with a giant mural of the guy from Breaking Bad and hip hop photos around the shop.
I was recommended the heisenburger by the staff and my mate usually comes here for the chicken and decided to add an extra piece. The heisenburger came out and it looked even better than the photos and was probably one of the best secret sauces I've ever had. The chicken burger came out and we were all in shock, that thing was MASSIVE and it was super juicy. I thought double patty on the chicken burger was too much, so next time I come, I'll only do the single because it's a massive piece.
Definitely recommend this place!
Ps: it's a double pattie chicken burger not 4... the chicken is too big so they need to cut it up lol.
Long story short, I bought a takeaway burg here for my in flight meal on the way back to Melbourne.
Despite the burg being soggy, luke warm, and unappealing, I still very much enjoyed it. This trumps any fast food burger by miles.
When I come back to Sydney, I'll definitely hit this joint up again Jaja .
FOOD = 3.5
SERVICE = 3.0
Great burgers and side options. Great flavours and combinations as well. The chicken burgers are amazing too and the loaded fried ans nuggets are great. One option they could add would be melted cheesy sauce on the fries and that would go great.
Best burger in Sydney. Hands down. Delicious bun, unreal maple bacon and premium beef that is always fresh and never frozen. I highly recommend the Heisenburger, and many of my vegetarian friends RAVE about the Peace Out burger. You don't want to miss this joint. I can't give five stars because perfection in life does not exist.
Wasn't too far from museum station and I realised I should make more trips to this side of the city! So many treasures.
Loved the burgers here (they had 2 vego options!). I got the Peace Out burger, with crumbed mushroom and onion ring. It was scrumptious and yummy, structural so not much of a mess when eating it. The mushroom is very juicy and the buns are soft.Â
Jasmine got the Chuck Jr, it looks very delicious and she liked it too.
Got some wings and the truffle fries to share. The wings looked a bit dry, They were pretty generous with the parmesan topping for the fries.
Will recommend if craving for a decent american burger that is reasonably priced.
American Burger Join with lots of American theme related you can visually see around the shops.
I like the gravity and posters on the wall that reminds you with all great American legend, Tupac for example.
Back to business, the burgers!
Well Chuck Norris XXL is huge and easily share between 2 person, or not if you hungry. They used sirloin patties ( well, sirloin is consist of meat and a little fat) and Iâm not so sure if they donât blend small portion with other meat like chuck or brisket for example for flavour.
You know sirloin is consider restaurant worthy restaurant cut meat that cost you dearly!
Anyway, chuck was satisfactory.
They have portion of baked burger too,
And Harlem heat was our second burger.
Basically is chicken schnitzel with topper.
Itâs not too bad but not great either!
Loaded fries is crowd pleaser for sure!
You don't often hear about Burgers Anonymous on the major food articles like broadsheet, concrete playground, or buzzfeed, but ask any burger pro and these guys are on the list. Their burgers aren't over the top big. They use a smashed sirloin blend meat patty which I find a little small so I recommend the double.
Today I ordered the Heisenburger and Loaded fries. Both had BA sauce and Crack Bacon (fancy name for maple bacon). The burger was very juicy, which made it a bit sloppy to eat. I love the BA sauce and honestly I could think of a hundred things to use it on.
Cool decor, and friendly staff. Food is cook to order so it takes a little longer.
WOW!!! I came here with the family a few months back and it was just okay. They recently added some new burgers to the menu and I was told to give it another crack.Â
I ordered the Chuck Jr and was completely blown away by how good it was. The meat was thin, crispy, but still juicy, and the onion rings paired with the hickory bbq sauce was perfect. I had to give their signature sauce another go so I ordered an EazyE with extra cheese and maple bacon.Â
The BA sauce was even better than the hickory. Great food, awesome decor, and friendly staff. In my opinion, Burgers Anonymous is on par with Mister G's as the best burger joints in Sydney.
I had the Eazy E and loaded fries which were amazing! Very well priced for the serving size would recommend to family and friends to try out! Also great service and decor.
Great value burgers, and all other things America, love the vibe out the back love the burgers and the wings and great load fries, great staff fun all around, will be back here again
Burgers Anonymous is a great little shop that pumps out amazing burgers. Usually packed out on Fridays and Saturdays, it normally takes a bit of time receiving food because their kitchen is so small. The meat is a sirloin patty which is ground in store daily, you can really tell the difference.
Today I had the heisenburger and my mate had a double apollo cheese with extra bacon and onion rings. Both were amazing! That BA sauce is one of the best burger sauces I've ever had. Service is always great. Friendly and the staff always look like they're having so much fun.
FYI: they've got cheeseburgers for $9!!!!!
If youâre hooked on Burgers or a fan of Breaking Bad then Burgers Anonymous on Oxford Street should definitely be a place for you to add to your list. Weâve tried a number of burgers on the menu including the Eaze âE, Apollo Cheese and Heisenburger.
All burgers are unique on their own but for us the Heisenburger stole the show and has made us go back numerous times. Also the wings are awesome too, they were drizzled in Barbeque hot sauce and were a delicious addition to the meal.
There is always music playing the, guys who run the place are really cool and Friendly and the service is great.
Holy mother of burgers.. This place absolutely goes off.. It gets pretty packed on Fridays and Saturdays, so I recommend going on a weekday.
It's not rated very high which is weird because their burgers are amazing. I ordered the Heisenburger, the mrs had the harlem heat, and we ordered a serving of Honey BBQ Wings.
Everything was excellent. The BA sauce in the Heisenburger is the real winner! The Harlem heat was so juicy with the right amount of spice. The BBQ wings were savory and sweet, the ranch took it to another level. Will be back to try the other wings and burgers!
Cant miss the massive heisenberg wall, and all the american pop culture posters.
Very unqiue burger joint with excellent customer service.Â
I ordered the Eazy- E with cheese. The burger was cooked to order and was delicious.
The bun was soft, the way I like them, Â the beef patty was juicy and the BA sauce was amazing!
will definitely be back again.
Got a hit a deliveroo one night when we were searching for a new burger to try. The wings were in fantastic condition seeing as it did have a bit of a travel, saucy but still crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. Fries were a little blonder than usual but that's cos we prefer ours well done. Would've liked a little more bacon to level out the ratio too. The burgers were pretty impressive for a smaller venue. Party sizes were well but again, more bacon please. I'm curious about their in house service and quality so I'm keen to give this place another go

I have to admit, I didnât really get the reference of a giant portrait on the wall at Burgers Anonymous, but apparently this Sydney eatery takes its theme from Breaking Bad. I was focused on a quick feed, so ordered an Apollo Cheese ($9), with an angus beef patty, American cheese, pickles, onion, ketchup and mustard, and a serve of shoestring fries seasoned with salt ($4). The food came out really quickly and was obviously cooked to order, nice and fresh. The fries were great value, heaped generously in a plastic tray and lightly seasoned. They were well-cooked through, and had just the right amount of crispiness. The burger was jam-packed full of flavour, mostly
Been here for a third time and I could not leave here without giving it a review. I highly recommend this restaurant for those who love American-style burgers. The highlight of their menu for me was the Heisenburger and the Maple Mayhem wings. The burger was so juicy and though it did get a bit messy, it was definitely worth it. The maple mayhem wings are unlike anything I've ever tried before, their maple infused hot sauce was all kinds of crazy good.Â
I really enjoyed this placed with it's cool American pop culture vibes and friendly staff. Would recommend this to everyone.
I'm a big fatties burger eater, so when I heard about this breaking bad (mind you I'm a big fan of breaking bad as well) burger joint that recently opened up, I just had to go check it out.
And boy was I not disappointed! OMG YOU MUST TRY THE HEISENBURGER or the EAZY E (but MUST add cracked bacon)
I also tired the loaded fries and chicken wings and just JIZZED âșïž
It's gets my 5 stars for the friendly service, good music, and flavoursome food with a decent range of beers! đđŒ
Hands down, one of the top 3 burger joints in Sydney in my opinion!
So get off your butts and try out this joint fatties! It's legit đ

LOVE this place. Burgers aren't too heavy and everything tasted fresh. It was the bacon & bread bun that brought it home for me. The shop has a nice atmosphere and the staff are quite friendly. I'd definitely come here again
Not there was anything wrong with the burger - but it didn't make my mouth sing or my pants wet either. Very much a standard cheeseburger - which for $9 in the city isn't bad - add 4 strips of thin bacon for $6 and a $15 bacon cheeseburger seems to be pushing it. No regrets. No rush to return. Service was very nice though đ
Unlike some of their peers, you won't find towering mega burgers at Burgers Anonymous. They do however feature a tight menu with great tasting burgers with quirky names like the Heisenburger and Chooklyn.
This place is small and finding a table for a group for lunch on a weekday is like winning the jackpot. And we struck it lucky the Friday we visited.
Don't be put off by the sign warning of a 30 minute wait for food. Ours was ready 10 to 15 minutes after ordering but kudos to management for trying to manage expectations.
So the burgers aren't particularly big but they're big on flavour. I had the completely satisfying Eazy-E - beef patty, lettuce, tomato, onion and sauce. Those loaded fries are pretty awesome too, and when you dine in, you get to enjoy your meal under the watchful eye of Walter White.
Located in a central location of busy Oxford Street this burger joint is an absolute Gem. I had the Heisenburger, it's double patty was mouth watering and satisfied every taste bud. Furthermore the mural of Walter White is awesome! Definitely worth a visit!
A hipster version burger joint which adds to the fast food glut that is becoming Oxford Street. Good place for a dirty burger before or after a bender. I had the basic cheeseburger. Patty was textured while the bun was soft and fluffy. I've had better burgers though and it essentially tasted like Macca's. Not the most healthy option, but Grill'd is across the road. The Breaking Bad theme is fun but I suspect they may eventually fall foul of intellectual property and be forced to change it. Friendly service.
Decided to hit up this new burger bar last week and I definitely was not disappointed. With all the new burger places popping up it is seriously hard to keep up, but it's good to know that Burgers Anonymous is doing it right. Although a limited menu, the burgers are quality and they make definitely THE best chicken burger I've eaten. Don't forget to the loaded fries with crack bacon - they are incredible!!
Delicious burgers. Cool breaking bad theme to it. The burgers were so light tasting like it wasn't like those heavy big burgers where they stuff every ingredient in. I wanted seconds as it didn't leave you feeling greasy and oily like most burgers do. Tender and juicy pattys. Crispppyy bacon which was nicely glazed. Overall one of the best I've had, honestly. The loaded fries was delicious. Chips topped with crispy bacon and their mustard cheese sauce.
Just got back to Sydney and figured it was time to try the new kid on the block, Burgers Anonymous. The outfit here is thematically Breaking Bad with a hip hop soundtrack, so you obviously can't go wrong here. Their selling point here is the beef they use, which hails from Hunter Valley Premium Meats and is their own blend of Angus Sirloin. Sirloin is typically a more expensive cut with less fat and in my opinion, makes for a far better steak than a burger patty, but we can see what's up. I opted for the Heisenburger because it's a double and has the crack bacon (double smoked, triple glazed.)
Double beef patty, bacon, double American cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, BA sauce
The food came pretty quick and the burger looked great. The crack bacon is aptly named cause it is the perfect blend of sweet and savoury. The BA sauce is pretty great, but they could have added a little more, and the rest of the toppings besides the cheese were more of an afterthought. The patties are pretty damn tasty, cooked just right and seasoned very well, the downsides are it could have been juicier (more fat) and they could have been bigger as they were on the thin side. The bun is probably the biggest let down for this burger which would otherwise make this burger awesome. It's a milk bun that holds it all together but it's dry and at some points so airy that it's a little chalky, which really brings the burger down. If the bun could be improved this burger would be dope as, as well as more BA sauce.
Beef: 4.0
Bun: 2.9
Toppings: 4.2
Overall: 3.7/5
I do love my burgers. Everyone has a particular style of burger that they love. I haven't written many reviews yet about all the places I have been. After visiting this place I was compelled to write something.
Unbelievable burger. Possibly the best I've had!!! The meat was sensationally tasty. The cheese was melted to perfection, the Sauce was delicious and not overpowering and the bacon! Wow! That bacon was glazed somehow it was glistening! I've had glazed before but this had a certain sweetness to it that o have never tasted before! The bun was toasted and still had that perfect softness to it. Not soggy and the perfect amount of bread.
Amazing #jaimesbigthumbsup. I could not give it any less than 4.5/5... As I said you maybe have a certain style of burger that you like. But this one will get everyone amped up on taste. It bloody melts in your mouth.
Amazing new burger joint that has a simple recipe for success. 5 basic burgers with the right sides at a very affordable price.
The burgers are cooked exceptionally moist and fresh and you also notice that everything is done to perfection. Their sauces are the secret blend only know by the chefs but just right and not overbearing so that you can taste the paddy though and through.
A must to try for any burger connoisseur!
Probably the best burger I have ever eaten. No exaggeration.
I was so happy with this burger, after I ate it, I just sat at my desk in a cloud of food bliss all afternoon.
It's American style, quite simple, just a very soft milk bun, perfect patty (some very fancy meat they keep on display to show it off), little bit of fresh salad and pickles, gooey cheese. Gooey is a good word - everything is just a big, gooey, tasty bit of heaven.
I've only tried the Heisenburg Burger (Heisenburger?) so far, but it was so great I've been back twice.
The only downside? Once you've eaten it, you want another, but it's so huge you can't! And I want to try their other burgers, like the chicken burger, but I've eaten perfection, so surely everything else from here on in is downhill...?
Fries are shoe string and standard, haven't tried the loaded fries, but plan to at some point.
(Note, give yourself a few minutes to order as this is not fast food. They cook everything fresh to order each time).
Nice restaurant, nice decorated.
There is a lot of options we ordered one HEISENBURGER/DOUBLE with extra sauce which was so delicious đ€€, buffalo chicken đ wings and it was good too.
Everything was delicious the only comment that I had I wish if they have a wet napkins so you can clean your hand after eating or gloves đ§€đ overall very tasty food đ đ
Great burgers. I usually order Burgers Anonymousâs chicken burgers but decided to try their cheeseburger (pictured). It came as a meal with a drink and fries. The burger patty was nice and thick, bun was soft and included lots of delicious cheese oozing out of the bun.
Everything excellent. Fresh hot crispy fries, tasty chicken and burgers. Well priced too.
I was starving after 4 1/2 hours on the train, best burger I have had in a very long time .
We came during COVID stay at home orders, we ordered and and since dine in was not allowed, we waited outside; there was a little bit of a wait as they were busy with online orders as well as customers walking in store. Their burgers are soo good and worth the wait! Price is decent too! However you might find it hard to find parking in the area.
