Just like the Bondi café, this place is buzzing.
The coffee is really good.
I ordered the traditional shakshuka and it tasted great.
We sat inside but there was plenty of light and sun, so that felt great.
Believe me when I say you MUST try one of the Shuk franchises! They have an amazing menu, and their serving sizes are great! I got the hummus bowl which was absolutely delicious, and being of middle eastern background myself, I can preach that their hummus and fried cauliflower was AMAZING.
A lovely, airy and open space in which to enjoy SHUK's popular menu of breakfasts, brunches and lunches, featuring Middle Eastern influences. I tried their famous signature Shakshuka. This one-pan-wonder is a hearty and warming dish, with eggs cooked in the middle of a rich tomato sauce. The eggs were slightly overcooked (they should be runny so as to mix with the sauce), but overall, it's a delicious dish with plenty of flavour.
Great ambience in an open air dining space. Would recommend using heaters as winter moves in. The shakshuka was flavourful, fulfilling and full of warmth for the chilly day. They have two other versions of this classic Middle-Eastern dish- vegan and Green. I will try these versions on my next visit as well as some of their appetizing baked goods!
Hummus with lamb and flat bread is always a winner for me. So how much more can you like something you already love?? You can. I liked the dish some more in Shuk. Nestled in a residential neighbourhood this is a cafe with good ambience and friendly service. Tried their coffee too and loved it. Must try if you are in the area.

Nice set up with plenty of room to enjoy your meal. Service was fast and efficient with all the wonderful flavors we have now come to expect from the Shuk team
Bondi locals have been enjoying Shuk at North Bondi now for a number of years - and testament to their success, 2018 saw the opening of two new eateries under the Shuk name; one in Chatswood, and the other, Elizabeth Bay. As one of the handful of places eagerly recommended by foodies for the best shakshuka in Sydney, this new opening makes it now that little more accessible to those on the city fringe and beyond.
I really love a brunch spot that has a point of difference and Shuk's Israeli inspired food ticks all the right boxes. Their signature bagel is terrific and my companion's Israeli Breakfast platter was a real feast for the eyes. Good service and even though busy we had very little wait. Looking forward to going back.
Every time I've visited with my friend, the food and coffee has been awesome. I recommend the bacon and egg roll or chicken schnitzel sandwich. The staff have always been very friendly, thank you for many great past and hopefully future experiences.
Love this place! Amazing tasty food and wonderful staff!
Great local cafe with good food and good coffee. Staff are always friendly.
You can go outside and watch the world go by or sit inside and soak up the atmosphere.
Been here many times and it’s always been a delightful experience. The place is airy, spacious and full of light, the food is great.
Great little spot tucked away in Elizabeth Bay. Not somewhere you'd naturally stumble upon, but worth seeking out. Quite a good selection of quality dishes at reasonable prices. Good wine list too, was happy with the selections all round.🍷The hummus could have been punchier but the felafels were nice and crispy served with a delicious sauce, the Barramundi full of flavour 🐟 and the roast chicken quite succulent 🐔 Service was really great as well, friendly and responsive. We will go back, for sure 👍
A cool find that was recommended to us by a local.
Placed in a residential area it doesn't have any real street appeal nor view to it but move pass that and you will enjoy tasty Israeli dishes, great service and reasonable prices.
