I’m so glad concrete jungle have finally reopen and relaunch their menu!!! their dishes are such vibrant dishes! And not only that it looks good, it tasted amazing!!! Definitely recommend to you all!
Great café! The waiter was so nice and funny.
The food was great, Moroccan inspired. Delicious.
Coffee was great.
We left at 11.00 on a Sunday and the place was so packed, there was a queue!
I will come back for sure!
We visited this cafe on my friends birthday. We were a total of 5 girls and this place has the BEST service ever!!! They were so kind, welcoming and funny! They offered to take pictures for us, brought in our gifts (which we gave beforehand so we can surprise her) and they sang her happy birthday with their awesome team! The best of all? THEY ARE HALAL!! 😍❤️ They don’t have cake, so they offered us the prettiest pancakes and wrote happy birthday over them. They also served our food together, so we didn’t have to wait to eat. If the owner is reading this, I just want to say that you’re lucky to have such an amazing team of staff. I wish your cafe the best of luck. The only suggestion I’d give is to add more items to the menu. Thank you for everything!
Amazing cafe! Would be great if it was a bit more spacious but none the less I absolutely enjoyed the meal. Our orders did take a while to make but still performed well overall
Very aesthetically appealing food. I had the coconut porridge and at first taste, it was very nice but as I kept eating, it got a bit too sweet for my liking. But nonetheless would be great for a sweet tooth :)
We came here on a Thursday morning so it wasn’t too busy. We ordered a variety of coffee and smoothies which were delicious and simple. We ordered the pandas ricotta hot cakes, eggs Benedict with salmon and the coconut rice pudding. Everything was delicious however portions are on the smaller size especially for the price.
so my friends and i decided to go to this cafe for my birthday hangout and it was such an experience to remember. i was extremely welcomed by its interior, with its greenery contrasting their white walls. but what made this experience memorable was the food!! the sweet potato fries were well-cut and seasoned- accompanied with a mayonnaise sauce which had a small hint of spice. however, i highly recommend the blue majik smoothie bowl! it was very refreshing and cold- a good way to wake yourself up for the late morning/early afternoon, and the berries, coconut shavings and cereal added a variety of textures and colours to this vibrant dish. overall, i would like to come back here and you should definitely come here with your friends for brunch!
My lovely Xihuahua 🐶 wanted to show me their hotcake. Omg it was really good. Like some really silky sponge with poached fruit toppings. I ordered crispy rolled egg. It was very fragrant due to the fried strands around the egg. Very pretty dish. Below is a bed of avo, beans and sausage. It hits the spot right! Coffee is bitter and sobering! Love it. Service is great! Decoration is bright and refreshing. Try this place! If I do need to complain it would be the lack of savory breakfast options, most dishes are sweet.
I'll admit I visited this place as I saw the Blue Majik Smoothie Bowl on instagram and thought it looked amazing...and it did not disappoint. So often pretty things on instagram lack flavour, but this is the exception. I loved the pineapple and banana flavour with the coconut yoghurt and the contrast between smooth and crunchy with the puffed granola. I also tried the Berry Booster smoothie which was full of berry and banana and not overly sweet. Coffee is good too. Everything was presented beautifully and clearly high quality food, plus the cafe has a nice, bright and airy vibe to it.
Only stopped by for a drink didn't order food.
I had the Bondi smoothie ($9) and it was really tasty.
Only negative I would say is the size of the drink was small for the price.
Hot cake is really nice , good for try. Blue mask tasted so so, like iced yogurt not sweetly maybe great for hot summer. Best for girls took pictures.
Great! The waitress was very enthusiastic and I ordered mocha and hotcake. The mocha was authentic, and the cake was delicious, soft and crisp, with lots of blueberry, strawberry and coconut slices, and I loved the cheese on top.
a really lovely place to eat!! went on a day where i was sick so i couldn’t enjoy it to the fullest potential but the food was undeniably good, even through a blocked nose and a headache. staff were super friendly too, would definitely come back!
I’ve been to this place four times and it’s been great on all occasions. I've had the hotcakes twice, which are delicious. The coffee is great, and the overall aesthetic of the cafe is refined and modern. It can get quite busy on weekends, so try going on a weekday!
An amazing experience at there in this afternoon. Although the cafe is quite small, as we as, the tables and chairs, they held a very cozy and chill atmosphere over there. Moreover, the blue smoothie did made a few great ig pics but the amount of food are quite small compared to its price.
BLUE MAJIK SMOOTHIE BOWL ($17.50) – blue spirulina, pineapple, banana, coconut milk and coconut yogurt topped with blueberries, puffed house made granola and edible flowers. So aesthetically pleasing even the most camera shy will have their phones out at these perfect havens. Totally fall in love with this smoothie bowl. I’m neither a coconut nor smoothies bowl fans but this one is too good to resist and refreshing as well (9/10).
For the main, I ordered their weekly specials: POTATO AND KING CRAB CROQUETTE ($20) with tumeric spiced cauliflower, blistered cherry tomatos and curry leaves; served with a green chutney and poached eggs. If you’re Indonesian, it literally taste like “bakwan jagung” but 10 times much tastier (8/10)
HOT CHAI LATTE ($4) – One of my favourite chai latte on top 3 list. I’m not a fan of Chai latte because not every cafe could make a good one – as it appear to be a healthy choice of drink compare to coffee and others. Sometimes the spice and herbs are too overpowered but Concrete jungle could make it balance in terms of sweet and spicy. Ps: it also help to prevent weight gain and promote fat loss girls ;) (9/10)
Was a delightful cafe to go to !
Surprisingly, the place was quite busy even though it was 1:30pm (I guess, because it was a Sunday) so we had to wait around quite a bit before we settled in inside. The food was great :)) !! Lots of pictures can be taken (but I didn’t do so well this round).
Staff were extremely friendly and I could definitely understand why the hype of this cafe was all about :-)
I’d definitely recommend:
The hot cake
Sweet potato fries

Had breakfast here on the weekends, had to wait a bit for a table but the staff was really friendly, always come back and keep you updated about the table.
Had:
🙌🏻Blue majik smoothies bowl
🙌🏻Blueberry and lemon hotcake
👍🏻Benedict with choice of salmon (you could choose beef too)
👍🏻Soy turmeric latte
Food was lovely.
Smoothies bowl was really nice, not super sweet and icing. I’m not a big fan of pineapples but I have to say that the bowl has great amount of pineapples and great flavours, not overwhelming which is good.
Benedict was okay, the bagel is pretty good in my opinion
And the hotcake was amazing! Very fluffy but definitely not boring
Would love to come back for another time
Service is really average. But the food is good, especially the blue smoothie with popcorn, the combination is creative and tasty. The position of the store is also great
Great food but disappointing coffee from Will&Co. With so many terrific roasters out there, I feel like CJ needs to pick up its coffee game. Hot cake is amazing - to be expected as the chef is ex-Harry’s and probably invented it. Overall love this place for brunch and go elsewhere for coffee.
We had quite a large group (full of hopeless friends that can’t be anywhere on time) and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. All the coffees and meals were amazing. I’ve had the miso avo on toast previously but this time I was adventurous and had the Pandan Hotcake! It was delicious, loved it with the mango! A big thank you to all of the staff, we will definitely be back.
Decent price for a lovely avocado toast! 🥑🥑 Good amount of healthy options with friendly staff. Would love to go back to try the blue majik smoothie bowl!
The food and service was pretty good overall. The blue majik smoothie lacked a little in flavour but was definitely very aesthetic. The gnocchi and soba noodles were good, as were the sweet potato fries.
I heard about them through social medias, so I had to go there I try them out. They have proper chefs in the kitchen and you can tell they’ve got a lot of experience. The menu is fresh with a lot of different ingredients, different cookery methods. I asked for a Nourish bowl. Everything was just perfect, the dish was colourful, tasty. The waitress was verY helpful with the menu, she knew what she was talking about.
staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, service was relatively quick for 12pm on a wednesday and really good atmosphere. I shared the nourish bowl with a portion of salmon (for $6 and we only got 3 thin slices - the only disappointment i found with this cafe) and it looked very colourful, tasted really good and was extremely filling! The hotcake was good too but it wasn't anything too special. Overall, a very good first experience and would love to come back again to try more of their menu!
Located around the corner from the hustle and bustle of George Street, concrete jungle offers an open interior for diners to soak up the warmth of the sun whilst enjoying brunch!
We both enjoyed our dishes, especially the highly raved blue majik smoothie, which exceeded our expectations for it! The service was prompt for a casual weekday brunch.
However, parking was hard to find. We parked at broadway shopping centre and walked to the cafe. Approximately 10 minute walk.
Got the Blue Majik to fight my Sunday blues. The place has wonderful aesthetics and excellent service, perfect for instagrammers. The bowl itself is nice in terms of flavor, not really outstanding though. Is it just me or can anyone taste the blue algae? Perhaps it doesn’t taste like anything but I have this interesting feeling.
For some reason the water cups smelt like sour milk, something to work on.
I’ve been here couples of time with my friends. I love this place! Food was nice! Staff were friendly and nice atmosphere ☕️☕️ and great for photos 😂
Came here a few months ago, and had a nice meal.Tried their famous smoothie bowl at the time and it was unique, had a nice flavour and pretty colour.Drinks were also nice, keen to come back to try their newer items as its a lovely place.
New cafe in Kensington St, loving the ambience and industrial theme. Lots of natural light from the glass doors. Tight space indoors with some outdoor seating. The egg benedict on bagel and the pancake were really good! Service was attentive and friendly. Would definitely be coming back for more.
Wonderful and Beautiful Magic Bowl. It’s a delicious smoothie bowl with the Blue Algae/Spirulina which is healthy for the body. However, i found the granola could be oat-based instead of the puffed rice, as the puffed rice became hard and stiff to chew when it froze together with the smoothie bowl.
I really enjoyed this cafe. We ordered the hotcakes and it was so good and deceivingly filling. We went on a Friday just before 12 and found a table easily although it did get busy while we were eating.
The only issue I had was that the tables were so close together that in order to leave the cafe people had to stand up to let us out.
But the food was pretty good so I’d go back
Went here early Sunday morning at around 8am and easily found a table for one.
Ordered an expresso, which was solid, as well as the lemon and ricotta hotcakes. The hotcakes were served within 15 minutes. As per the photos, it was thick and textural with ricotta pieces throughout. The ricotta cream was silky and delicious. It was quite filling.
Service was prompt - tap water provided to the table. It was fairly cool even sitting inside during these winter days. Casual ambience - was not too crowded early in the morning. Reasonable prices.
Overall, a good cafe with tasty-sounding menu options. Would go back.
Decided to visit in the morning before class and loved the blueberry and ricotta hot cake, was super filling despite the smaller portion size. Staff were lovely as well.
Have to say we came here for the photos but food was quite tasty too! The pancake was missing some crunch elements but overall yummy.
We were seated in a walkway between the cafe and another building and unfortunately it was really windy so we were absolutely freezing the whole meal. Not the cafes fault but just a warning for anyone who is seated there in the future!
Food was exceptional. This nourish salad which they thankfully adjusted slightly for my allergies (I truly appreciate that) was amazing! Sweet potato fries cooked perfectly. Just a great little place I’d gladly return to!
Blue Majik Smoothie Bowl – Blue Algae, blueberries, coconut flakes and granola
“Oh my lordie lord”
The very words that came right out of my mouth after getting a spoonful of this. Now, first of all, I want to let you all know that I am not a smoothie-bowl gal. Never really was a fan of it. Like really? If you want a smoothie bowl you’d rather have a smoothie. It’ll cost you a fraction of the price and it’d be conveniently packaged in a to-go cup. Well, I was wrong. To be fair, I did order the dish because of its unique presentation. Like bright blue food? This is the closest I’ll ever be to an alien and eating fluorescent coloured liquids. Anyways, this beauty was light, fresh and had all the right textures. The granola was definitely what made the dish. I loved how it had a mixture of some popcorn, oats and sultanas. Mixed with the coconut flakes and the blue algae smoothie, who couldn’t resist? ...
I’d be lying if I say I didn’t come here for the blue bowl. I was curious wondering what it would taste like. I was expecting an ordinary smoothie bowl, to my surprise, it was packed with ingredients I wasn’t expecting. In particular, the sprinkle of cereal and sesame seeds was what made an impression for me. Barista and waiter were very polite too , checking up once in awhile if the food and coffee’s okay.
Throwback to a couple of months ago when DS celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary with a staycation at the Old Clare Hotel in Chippendale! (On a side note, wow! Two years has gone by really quickly. If you missed it, here was a quick recap of the food we had at our wedding) It was really fun to stay in the Chippendale area because you actually felt like you had gone into a whole different part of town, even though it’s not so far from our home in Darlinghurst. There are so many little cultural things to do like visiting the local art galleries, not to mention all the food options. It’s got everything from the cheap and cheerful Spice Alley to fine dining.
A definite definite recommend! Super friendly staff. Extremely easy to find the cafe. The food was nothing short of supremely tasty but also really pretty! The chef sent me complimentary dips (something that it's famous for) and I also got bread to eat them with! Overall: excellent! Thank you guys :)
Loved the Blue Majic Smoothie Bowl, place was amazing. The price for what you get is also decent. I thought $18 for a smoothie bowl was a little too much but when i received it, it was totally worth it. And it was actually more than i thought i was going to get. Would totally recommend.
A good cafe at my doorstep, with super friendly staff! Tasty food and very instagram friendly. The only thing is the service is a bit slow but really can’t complain as it s always long queue during the weekends. Outside tables and pet friendly.
Staff were so friendly and attentive, the setting was nice and the food was absolutely delicious! Definitely need to come back here again, there's a lot on the menu I want to try 😭
Lovely Sunday brunch at this hidden jem. Right in the heart of the city. Parking can be difficult unless you get in early. Staff is very friendly. Blue smoothie is perfect for a summer day. Blueberry lemon pancake is very rich and pleasing to eye. Very well prresented, pleasing to the eye. Will definitely love to visit again.
1) I love the logo of concrete jungle. Never have I seen a cooler represatjon of the stature of a cafe made so perfect as a logo.
2) This place is quite busy and live. I didn't expect such rush which means all the hype is true.
3) The food here is appealing not only to the taste buds but also to your eyes.

Unique and Healthy cafe in sydney. The blue majik Smoothie with granola and the cassava fries are my fav. The cafe is cozy and not too big But served Really good quality Food.
I love the open-ness of this cafe, with big glass door and windows, and very modern decor and lighting. They have copper accents on the chairs and some lights. Some chairs were just stools while others you could lean back. Maybe having a mixture of different style table and chairs is the new thing. Bonus points to the waitress as she assumed we wanted the drinks and food to come out at the same time. Normally I have to ask, since I prefer taking a photo of the food with the drinks (I mean, who doesn’t?)
Such a fresh little gem in the middle of the city ! We tried the Blue Majik Bowl and another Quinoa Bowl ( can't remember the name I'm afraid) and they were both delicious! :)
The space is light and airy and everyone seemed to be having a good time. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive, to us and other patrons, and we will definitely be back soon! Not sure who the Manager is, but they should be proud :)
Could not fault the food nor could I fault the service here! Been here twice now and the food has been amazing. The blue mail smoothie bowl is a nice, refreshing option on a hot summers day and is much bigger in serving size than expected! Also ordered the nourish bowl with salmon on the side, also very unique, delicious and filing. Had to get the sweet potato fries which were hot and crunchy. The coffee was good and last but certainly not least, try blueberry hotcake to finish was definitely a favourite. Between two of us (petite girls), the staff were shocked when we ordered up a storm and stated we probably were not able to finish all of it since their servings were large. The super friendly and attentive staff were nothing but shocked when we cleaned up pretty well but we're definitely in major food comas afterwards. The entire menu is so enticing, it's hard to choose! Definitely recommend this place!
To be honest, the breakfast in this cafe is good at bringing me surprise. The blue smoothie bowl was beautiful by looking and tasting both. Excellent choice for refreshment and is healthy as well. The ice chocolate is cool to be the morning welcome too.
The food was beautiful! We had a little issue with some of the staff members but the follow-up of my review was great. Thanks for taking the time.
Nice atmosphere in this very new and modern cafe. I love the style and the plants of this little spot. I ordered soya latte and soy toast with blueberries and banana jam and they were great! But the best positive aspect is that they are able to make espresso (in the Italian meaning). The service is nice and polite maybe a bit slow.
Highly recommended blueberry hotcake, beautiful!
The texture is somehow like pancake soft, sweet and full with incredible ingredients. And the decorations are amazing!
I love 💕 it!
Toast with Avocado 🥑, poached egg 🥚, salmon and a little bit greens is lovely but not as surprise as the hotcake!
Cap and almond flat white, good cafe and latte arts. Not a bad choice for chatting and breakfast!

Blue Majik Smoothie Bowl : 😁 Great
Moroccan Chicken : 😍 Amazing
Sweet Potato Fries : 😍 Amazing
Service : 😍😍 AMAZING
What an amazing experience we had here at Concrete Jungle. The service was the absolute best. The waiters were welcoming and hilarious! The food is so photo-worthy and tastes soooo damn good. The quinoa in the Moroccan Chicken is on another level. It was simple but full of flavour and the chicken was cooked to perfection. The smoothie bowl was truly refreshing although by the end of it the pineapple made my tongue all numb. So worth going to and I will definitely come back again.
YES YES YES this is definitely my new favorite cafe! Everything about this place is perfect 👌🏼. Food is full of flavour and the service is one of the best I have come across. The Blue Majik and Moroccan Chicken is a must have with a side of sweet potato 🤤🤤. Absolutely nothing to fault here. I will definitely be back !!
Good service, and location was easy to get to. I had the blueberry hotcake which was very fluffy. The ricotta cream on top was delicious! The overall taste of the hotcake and its toppings were good but didn't blow me away - still unsure as to whether it was worth the $18.50 price tag. It also seems this place doesn't do split bills. I would go back to try some savoury dishes though.
Overall, a pleasant and delicious experience.
Came on a Thursday afternoon around 11:30am. Not very busy and plenty of tables.
Friendly staff, understated but excellent service.
Delicious cold brew, punchy but not too strong, perfect for the hot weather.
Had the Blue Majik bowl and the Beef Benedict. Wait, come again? The Blue Majik bowl, though awfully bright blue, is in fact very refreshing and delightfully summery. The Eggs Benedict came with slivers of beef (instead of bacon or salmon) and was surprisingly tasty. The only thing I couldn't handle was the amount of hollandaise. Don't get me wrong I loved their homemade hollandaise but there was wayyyyy too much!
$45 for two meals and a round of coffee. Very decent price and stunning quality!
This cafe is honestly about a 4.8/5. I loved every single dish! The blue majik smoothie bowl is amazing - fresh, appealing, so light on the stomach and makes you feel better than you did before walking in! The sweet potato fries are definitely 5/5. That mayo is to die for - I've never come across such an amazing mayo. The first dish you order should be the sweet potato fries. The burger was so delicious - ham a little too thick but overall the taste was great. The healthy bowl was nice and a great bowl to break up the burger and smoothie bowl. Finally - staff are incredible here. They are very nice and attentive, they ask about how your food is and come to you with a smile on their face!
The decor of the cafe looks great and the food is great as well! Me and my friend order egg on toast and the popular pancakes. The egg is really well done and the hotcake is one of the fluffiest hotcake I have had in sydney. The topping with fresh fruit and coconut flake are really fresh and goes well with the hotcake. Love this dish!
Pretty much every morning like clockwork, I wake up and check my Instagram feed before actually getting out of bed – and it was as though overnight all the foodies that I follow were sipping lattes and eating toast at Concrete Jungle! I saw post after post of beautiful presented healthy bowls, smashed avo and sweet pancakes. Everything looked just amazing! So when it came time for me to choose a brunch venue with my friends, I didn’t hesitate to suggest Concrete Jungle.
Awesome food (had the hotcakes and the nourish bowl) with a great, chilled out atmosphere located on a quiet street in the centre of Sydney. Service was awesome and the coffee was very well-made. The matcha latte was awesome! Great place for foodies.
Great place hidden in amounts the concrete buildings of the city. When we arrived there was a wait, it wasn’t so bad and the staff were friendly and very accommodating, however I can imagine with its popularity that the wait time will be over 10minutes on a regular weekend. The food was great. We had the hot cake and nourish bowl. Both were as expected, delicious! I am not normally a hot cake/pancake kinda person but thought I would give this one a go. Due to it being made with ricotta the pancake was light and moist, not dense like some can be. The nourish bowl did just what it advertised, left you feeling nourished and healthy. Both meals were very tasty.
Located in Chippendale, this adorable cafe definitely did not disappoint! I was extremely pleased! From the incredible (and I mean INCREDIBLE) service, to the chilled out atmosphere, and the delicious food, I was very, very happy. It's just a 5 minute walk from Regent street parking which was very convenient (or also a short walk from central station). We were greeted as soon as we arrived, and the service was warm, friendly, and all the staff had great enthusiasm! We were seated, ordered our drinks, and not long after, our waitress came over to take our food order. She was amazing! So friendly and outgoing and happily made recommendations!
We ordered the blue majik smoothie bowl, the toast with avo and coconut fetta (and we added a poached egg) and their hotcake with ricotta cream as well as a side of maple beef bacon. I wasn't a massive fan of the beef bacon, but everything else was amazing. The hotcake was the fluffiest hotcake I have ever had in my entire life! It was delicious. I ended up ordering extra syrup because I believe you can never have too much maple syrup on a pancake... but it was incredible!!
I honestly was blown away by the amazing service. I would definitely recommend trying out this place!! I wouldn't necessarily rush back there myself for breakfast because I am really into big breakfasts with bacon and chorizo and haloumi cheese BUT in saying that, for a healthier option, beautiful presentation and spectacular service.... DEFINITELY recommend! I am keen to return to try their lunch menu and their Reuben sandwich!! :)
I recommend the blueberry hotcake and house smoked salmon! Would love to come again and try the sweet potato fries.
The only drawback is that the place is a bit small so it could get quiet squishy, but great food and great service.
This beautifully designed, minimalist cafe is part of the Central Park dining precinct of the new and improved Chippendale! So busy on a Saturday morning inside so we opted for a petite table outside, surrounded by the concrete jungle! Plenty of light and bright, health conscious options on the all day breakfast menu! Chose the Blue Majik Smoothie Bowl ($17.50) w blue algae, pineapple, banana, coconut water and yoghurt topped with blueberries and housemade granola. Stunning, sweet and yummy! Also the coconut, feta and quinoa fritters ($19.50) are a sight to behold with the most colourful salad of fatoush, coconut labne and avocado. Added a perfectly poached egg too ($3). So satisfying on every level! Super friendly staff made the whole experience so fun! Highly recommended!
Absolutely love coming here. The food is great and is so nicely presented. Staff are really friendly and the whole atmosphere is great. Would definitely recommend 👌🏻👌🏻
I was recommended Concrete Jungle Cafe for brunch by a local and it didn’t disappoint.
Beautiful interior, open kitchen, abundance of seating and a lovely glass brick feature bar.
Staff were super friendly. Food was reasonably priced for the portion size. Not your standard cafe options, see the pork rib in the pics (rich and full of flavor but very tasty).
Excellent customer service. Friendly and attentive staff. Nice, airy & pleasant ambience. It’s a great space and quite relaxing. I highly recommend the eggs Benny, brekkie mezze, green noodle salad and tuna rice bowl. The cold brew coffee is good too!
very good food and service, stuff always check if we are alright. The rib Benny it’s tasty. We should go next time try other dishes. That’s a good spot in Chippendale
the food was delicious and the coffee very well prepared. The place is very nice to hang out with friends and family.
We had our Valentine’s day date night here. Menu is mostly dishes to be shared; we had crab rolls, tuna tartare and the trout, and the beef tartare which was fantastic. Food came very quickly, which was good because I was starving. There is a nice selection of drinks as well. Overall a nice dinner for a very decent price.
