Review Arisun - Sydney

Gary L
Korean fried chicken open all hours. Short walk from the Tram. Fast service, good food variety and some interesting flavoured chicken - try the snow cheese, although it can be on the sweet side. 3 of us ate comfortably here for $70 with two half and half chicken dishes and a noodle dish. Seating isnt the most comfortable but fine for a quick eat. Location is great and the staff do a good job with the service.

Their famous arisun chicken menu is good. I feel recently the noodles and the other menu has been a little bit disappointing. They have unique options of soju drink

I was CRAVING JJAJANMYUN black bean noodle. I saw they had a jumbo size one so I went. And I normally can eat two bowls of this and then another dish, so I ordered it. Staff warned me it is very large I said no problem. Wow they were not kidding. The bowl is the size of a tyre. I loved it. Will be back.

Heard lots of good reviews about Arisun, so went to try it for the first time as I love Korean food and I eat it often. Sadly, it was very bad experience at Arisun and the food was terrible. we ordered three items, none of them are good, forget the deliciousness. It was totally opposite of what we expected, bibimbap had not much items, egg in it look like it had been kept for a long time, pork belly was disgusting and the rice was undercooked. I feel so worse about my decision to go Arisun along with my friends, whilst I was praising about Arisun but it was like expectation vs reality to us. I am not going to recommend anyone and won't be coming back. Two stars for spicy fried chicken, only item we ate among three. Of all, we felt being racist as well because of the way the foods were presented to us, its not supposed to be like that I guess.

Returned to the Arisun chain after a blossoming affair with ICG chicken chain. This store on Liverpool Street is much smaller than the one further down at Dixon st, but still has a charming atmosphere. The fried chicken here does not compare to other chains/ Korean restaurants. Service was quick and basic, not friendly or welcoming. Overall, an average experience.

One of the best restaurant in the city. We ordered the food and it came in quite early than expected. Happy with the customer service skills and the food are delicious here. Highly recommendable restaurant if you’re looking for a good food with good ambience.

Go with a group as the serving is generous, though you pay for it. Great atmosphere, well designed and efficient staff. Get the usual favs like KFC, the huge hotpot is pretty popular.

Please noted this is just my personal feeling. I went to this restaurant yesterday with my bestie -Sunday and I have to say it was busy there. Compared to the other Korean places I have been to (Madang or O Bal Tan and Myung Jang ) This place has no match at all. What I don't like: similar price range, food options, self-serve water service, unfriendly staff members, and most importantly, poor appetizer. I ordered a fried chicken lunch box, but the mashed potato tastes sour and rancid! My friend likes this brand, but I am not sure if she likes this place particularly. However, I don't want to come again.
