Favourite Korean BBQ buffet in Sydney. Better book before u go. They cost 39 per person for dinner which is good price. Time limit is 1.5 hour, I would say it’s just enough no need rush.

I have come here so many times with the family for dinner. The all you can eat concept is wonderful and is extremely worth it for the price.
First impressions: Service is wonderful (its buffet anyway!)
Food: Not as many side dish options (however still tasty and i recommend the sweet potatoes with the sweet/honey coating) however the meat options are amazing. Wagyu beef comes out frequently. (Make sure to grab them when they come out to get more bang for your buck!) Other meat options are generally mediocre. Marinated meat options are are pretty nice. Besides meat and side dish options, they also have noodles and soup. Noodles are fine, soup is enjoyable. Dessert is kid friendly (ice cream!!) i really loved the cheese cakes and their brownie cakes, they were delicious!
Dinner was reasonably priced and food was good. Would recommend wearing clothes are not as new as the smell of the kbbq tend to linger. Staff were very nice!
Could be I know very few places with so much going for it. Great value, uncomplicated and purely about fire, food and friends. I forgot to try the Korean beer but I won't make that mistake next time.
Family friendly, kids can run a muck while the adults bbq it up. Many delicious free condiments. The marinated chicken on the bbq was my favourite.

I have been meaning to do a review of this restaurant for like nth times already. I just forgot to take pictures whenever we eat there. Yes, we have been there quite a number of times already. So the recent one was when the brother arrived to visit Sydney. So we say hello again to Se Jong Korean BBQ Buffet.
Came here a couple times for my parents birthday! Its all you can eat Korean BBQ buffet and they offer a huge range of things for you to eat. From sushi, to sweets, raw meat, cooked food and even soups. My only criticism is that it is not consistent, i really like the cheesy corn, but sometimes its not restocked/available. Also, the man at the counter can also be rude at times. We made a booking for 6, but last minute changed to 7, he didn’t seem pleased about it, even though a simple solution would be to just add an extra seat.
However, the food and staff here are pretty good! It is always crowded on weekends, so make sure you make a booking - waits can be up to an hour! But the variety of food is probably one of the best buffets i’ve been to! They have different prices for adults and kids for different age brackets. They also charge you if there are huge leftovers.
Came here twice with my girlfriends family and to surprise, it is always packed at night during the winter season. But everyone wants the hot food that this place delivers. They give you the best options for the bbq and it comes at a reasonable price. ALL YOU CAN EAT korean meats, sushi, prawns, etc. What more can you ask for? As this is a Korean restuarant, they still give you sides. I gotta admit, they done good.

Clean and neat restaurant! Staff were not that attentive though..
Anyway, meat was nicely marinated! Side dishes are diverse and tasty as well! As I came during the middle of the summer, I got to taste their cold noodles, which was really really nice! Seaweed soup was also good 😍 Not to mention that their sauce were tasty and came in variety (although they were salty)!

I have to say this is my favourite Korean barbecue place!
It by far the cleanest place I’ve been to with the best service.
There is a lot of variety in terms of meat, hot dishes and dessert so it’s a total win for me.
Unlike any other Korean BBQ place I’ve been to, these guys actually change the grill plate every time they see it darkening!
Wagyu House let it burn and just place a stack of lettuce leaves under it making the meat stick to the plate.
Anyway, this isn’t an attack on those guys but it definitely does make a difference to the taste of your food.
So to start off, there are various types of meats available from ribs, chicken, pork etc. which is great because you’re not eating a whole lot of just the same thing.
We opted for some different cuts of steak and marinated beef, bacon, sausages and ribs.
All of them delicious but the ribs being my favourite.
Next, some cold dishes.
They had all different types of sushi – yes, sushi! It was great!
They also have different fresh salads but we didn’t have any of that because who wastes their calories on veg?! Ahahaha
In terms of hot food, they had pumpkin soup, which was quite nice but depending on whether or not you prefer the sweeter pumpkin is the question. If not, you might not like this bad boy.
They have boiled rice and fried rice for your carb hit and they also have various types of noodles. I couldn’t get enough of the glass noodles – I had three plates full!
They also have ramen, which was quite nice. The noodles were more like spaghetti but it was still good.
There are little cheese and corn clumps in foiled cases, which you can cook on the grill – these were delish!
In terms of drinks, the waiters came around and took your order which is also different from every other place I’ve been to where you have to go up to the counter and pre pay them.
For dessert, there was more than the vanilla ice cream option (which they did also have).
This included brownies, deep fried sweet potato, cheesecake, fruit and some sort of sweet tea that had rice in it. The tea tasted quite nice but I was a bit iffy on drinking the rice!
All in all, the experience was really good – waiters came and cleared your dishes straight away and were super polite. The turnover with food was pretty good as the place gets packed so it’s best to book in advance.
All you can eat for $39 is a bargain if you ask me!
Food is so good and is totally worth the buffet price. Been going here for years and really recommend to anyone looking for a place to eat yummy food and hang out with their favourite people!!
I have been living in Melb for 13 years and now move to Syd, if Melb has the same quality Korean bbq place like this, it will be fully packed everyday. we love this bbq restaurant!
Cooking the food was great, and while you wait you can eat on foods that's ready to eat, the atmosphere of the restaurant is family friendly which is great for parties and other events. But it's the amount of meat you can cook that makes it a 5 star in my opinion. Would definitely come back to try the deserts.

It was my first time here and I was extremely impressed with the service, food and environment. There is a carpark located right in front of it and is always a short walk from the train station, making it convenient. There was a lot of staff members around, keeping the place neat and tidy which is good. Also, they kept an eye out on the hot plate and would change it when it started to get black.
The food was great. The meat was marinated very well. There was also a variety of choices where you can choose from; if you wanted to cook the meat yourself or food where you could eat instantly such as fried rice, noodles, chicken. The charcoal cooked the meat fast which allowed the food to come quicker. I've been to some KBBQ buffets where the heat was not strong enough resulting in me not eating enough before the time limit was over. They stock up food quickly as well which is amazing.
The environment is friendly. It is a big area with a choice to sit outdoors as well. There is a lot of space to walk back and forth to get food. The restaurant is also very neat and tidy.
Overall, I am extremely impressed with this restaurant and would definitely go here again.

Meat is great! The sweet and sour chicken is so great, but I'm guessing the owner changed, I went BK and it didn't taste like it did before.
The meat here is great , for all you can eat buffet.
Personally , if you like meat more than sides this place is for you. The meat is marinated nicely. I can't complain about it , $38 pp it's a good deal.
Although this place is great and others would agree, I would go here on a weekday Monday-Thursday to receive better service such as change of grill often and calling down waiter/waitress for a drink. If you like to go to this place on a weekend, I would book one week advance to get a table, also to save yourself from waiting outside!! Enjoy your meal here, eat well, its worth it. I highly recommend.
Great range of of meat variety, they have sikhye in place of water and spring onion kimchi. Would definitely come back again if I happen to be in Sydney another time.
I've been to the Sejong in Carlingford two times now with the same bunch of people. We love it! Quality of the meat is good, everythibooks fresh. I like that they have sushi, spring rolls, fried chicken and the all the meat. The icecream is a nice little touch at the end. Cuts rights through all the fattyness. Would definitely go back.

The service was good, the drink lost covers most of the drinks we'd wanted.
The only thing i think they can improve is the change over of buffets, it should be prepared before hand but it takes forever to get out of the kitchen.
Overall I am happy with what they offer.
I think this place is quite good for the meat lover. They have much more choices than lunch. It's a bit expensive for me 38$ per person I think it's getting increase by few dollar every year probably next year will be 40$something. And my friends also told me that the owner is changing recently.
But the food is nice, the waitress are really kind as well. But if they provide more drinks it would be awesome! Anyway, next time I will take more than 4 people come to this restaurant.

Having been here for a few times now, going there again was thrilling. We headed there and they've added some things to prevent too much steam. There are side dishes to eat before or during the BBQ. They bring out the BBQ quickly and you start putting meat on the pan and cooking meat you have taken. It is a buffet so you can eat as much as you want. It was a nice experience there and after you've had all your meat, you can head over and get some ice cream! The price is average but I guess it tastes great!
If you live quite close, definitely try it out, but make sure you give them a call first because it's quite popular!
Se Jong is a restaurant best enjoyed when, as rare as it is, it isn't immensely packed (as on a weekend). What gets lost behind the crazy crowds and stressed out staff is a nice selection of meats and sides for you to pick and choose at your leisure. The fun part is grilling up your own meat and enjoying the tasty marinades and flavours on offer here. However ignoring the service or lack thereof during peak periods is dishonest, as this can really have a negative effect on your meal.
Good variety of food, reasonable prices for adult but little expensive for kid, service was limited but expected being a BBQ buffet, the staff kept fiddling with our grill setting
I knew as soon as I stepped foot into this kbbq buffet restaurant that it would be my go to KBBQ joint. Great selection of meats, sushi and other Korean food. Reasonable set price for the amount of food options available to you.
We came here for a birthday party and it was pretty good. I thought it was okay, but a few of the other guys thought it was the absolute best. The marinated beef ribs were excellent, but thats about it. So I pretty much just filled up on the marinated beef ribs. I think wagyu house has a much better meat selection, however Se Jong has more hot food. For me, its about the meat, the hot food at buffets are mediocre, at best!.
Looking to BULK UP? Then what better way to do it, then to go to a buffet and stocking up on the meat/chicken for some good old protein 💪🏼

Price is not expensive, there is a lot food for cook, good service, I liked so much this Korean BBQ,I've been there 3times yet,and I will be there many times again!!
Disappointed as I was led to believe that Korean BBQ was served all day. During the day however, a buffet is only provided. The variety is very slim for $18. The sushi was very nice, although there were only 4 varieties to choose from. The buffet has no amazing qualities that set it apart from other places. The food, though, was respectfully tasty. I would come back to try their acclaimed Korean BBQ, however, I don't see myself coming back for the day buffet. (Sorry for terrible photos)
Se Jong is quite possibly my favourite all-you-can-eat buffet in Sydney! Featuring a range of Korean food for lunch and an inclusion of KBBQ meat and seafood for dinner, I believe that for the high price it is worth it. The service is nice and quick, and the food is pretty good quality and fresh in my opinion. The meats are also really tasty, some with great marinade and the sides go perfectly together. My tip for diners visiting this place is to call and book as early in advance as you can as Se Jong fills up quite quickly, being very popular and busy!
Buffet that is actually well stocked with good stuff. Like the selection of both meat and vegetables to choose from. The sweets is small but tastes good as well. We had some sort of caramelised pumpkin which was made really well. The place is always packed, there is good reason it is so popular.
Service is friendly and efficient. This place is good value for the quality and range of food available.
Parking can be hard to find because the place gets busy. Also with the soju available it can get loud and rowdy - especially with large groups around.

I've eaten at Se Jong numerous times- always with the intention of eating everything that they have to offer, until I pass out. But sadly I have never accomplished this mission, seeing as their selection of both BBQ meats and cooked meals is never ending!!! In addition to their awesome Soju selection, Se Jong also offer desserts, sushi, and fried chicken! You definitely can't go wrong with that!
Service is very attentive, staff are continuously replacing our BBQ plate, collecting used crockery, and offering the drink menu.
The downside of Se Jong is probably the waiting times for a seat. Which proves this place is peaking! Overall I suggest trying the place out and experiencing a food coma.
I have been to this restaurant since I was 8 years old. Over the decade it has changed dramatically. It used to be a hotpot buffet. I am extremely impressed with what the restaurant has become. They offer a variety of traditional korean and japanese finger foods, side dishes and already-cooked foods including korean fried chicken, salmon sushi, kimchi, japchae and sweet potato. This korean BBQ buffet offers the widest range of foods that I have seen. The service is very good as well, they change your grill very often and there is no time limit for eating. If you want to end up in a food coma then this is the place for you!
Have been to several Korean BBQ places before, but this one is probably one of my faves! So many pre-made options which were all delicious!! Not to mention a big selection of meats to cook! Honestly so impressed! They had mussels, squid, calamari and prawns!! The staff were attentive with clearing plates & changing over the BBQ and they were very friendly also! Only downfall is if you sit outside there are no smoke exhausts so the smoke blows in your face. Very very busy so would definitely need a booking! $35 all you can eat is a small price to pay for such a great meal! Will definitely be returning!! 🙌🏽
I was actually quite impressed by the range of food on offer for the $35 all you can eat fee we had to pay. There's a large range of meats to choose to cook. Then you have a large salad selection, sushi selection, lots of sauces and even some dessert and fruits. There is a time restriction of around 2 hours. The staff are very diligent in changing the cooking trays as well as cleaning up dishes... even though sometimes we still have food on them and they clean it up which was a bit annoying. I hated how despite not reaching our two hour limit yet we felt a lot of pressure from the staff to leave. The place can get quite packed so I recommend bookings if you're coming in a larger group. rinks are fairly priced and overall I still would recommend this place to go to. P.S dont wear such nice clothes here as you'll smell of BBQ afterwards.

Came here on a Sunday for their lunch buffet. Was very busy but as we booked a table we were seated immediately. At lunch they serve a mix of meats, noodles (including rice cake and potato noodle), soups, salads and dessert. Not a particularly wide selection but all food was good quality in taste and freshness. Staff regularly came to replenish stocks. Great value for $16pp

This is my local Korean bbq and honestly one of the top places in NSW for a buffet and Korean experience. I am so thankful that they EXIST! It's very hard to find good quality all you can eat Korean bbq's (worth your money) so I will continue to fully support them! SYDNEY WHY YOU HAVE SUCH LIMITED ALL YOU CAN EAT PLACES??? I've been more than 5 times here, the staff are friendly and young.
The meat itself is average quality but good enough for an enjoyable all you can eat meal for $30.00! The variety of seafood and meat is very decent; squid, baby octopus, prawns, mussels and I can't complain because it is 'all you can eat' and you are not expecting fine dining, and you are not paying for each meat set like other Korean BBQ places which end up being $70.00, so people really need to consider that this is very reasonable for the pricing and convenient (close to city, inner west) location. Other than Se Jong there are hardly any buffet places around Canterbury and many people do not have the time to travel to North Parramatta, Randwick, Chatswood or Lidcombe.
I LOVE the cooked foods they have too (good variety)! Rarely do I find watermelon at a Korean BBQ and Se Jong has very fresh watermelon always being updated, they sometimes have cookies, and always have ice cream which is cute. Also I LOVE their kimchi! It's not too spicy and is very flavorful, the lettuce is always fresh and plentiful which is lovely! A tip: It tastes amazing when you grill the kimchi too
Korean BBQ and it's all you can eat. What's not to love about it. Se Jong gets really packed out on the weekend. So to avoid disappoint or a long wait, making a reservation would be highly advised. Food is great, with a reasonable selection of meats (wagyu, beef ribs, pork belly, chicken etc); some seafood, sauces and sides; and a section for ready-to-eat foods, such as sushi, noodles, salads and deep fried dishes. They also offer some basic desserts, such as tubs of vanilla ice cream and watermelon. Only a small negative is the service. Though staff are friendly and helpful, getting their attention can be a struggle at times as it is so busy and noisy inside.

I'd definitely reccommend this place, you'd want to be hungry to eat here so you feel you've gotten more value out of your money. Also note, don't over stock on food if you're not going to eat it as there is a fine of $10. My favourites were the Takoyaki balls (surprisingly good), Sushi (surprisingly good as well, good quality for a buffet), Beef, Chicken, Ox Tongue, :)
Not many options but most of the food are great, service is efficient, price is reasonable especially if you have bottomless stomach, ambiance is nice.

FANTASTIC FOOD AND SERVICE. Getting a seat in this outlet is near impossible unless you have a booking or are prepared to have long wait in a queue. It is hugely popular and the superb food and very friendly service are the reasons why..Truly the best of all the all you can eat Korean BBQ outlets in Sydney.
Dinner review. It was a last minute decision to eat here only because it's far from where I live but there are no regrets driving far to get a good meal. Some people say to book weeks in advance but we called 2 hours prior and we still got in so just take a chance.
I sat outside which was still ok in the winter as the coals will warm you up. All the staff were very busy but still helpful in severing. Food is always good here had a selection of ready to eat food while you wait for your coals to come and heat your plate.
My boyfriend is a meat lover and me I was in seafood heaven so it's all in one for us. They come out and replenish the buffet often so there is plenty of food. They don't have a big selection of deserts but you will be very full to think if desert.
Great value for korean bbq. Grest meat selection. Only negative is that they are ALWAYS booked out. Book two weeks in advance for Friday/Saturday night.

Se Jong is a WINNER. Seriously the best place I have gone to dinner in years !! The food was delicious and fresh. The service people were attentive but not so much where you wana throw your tongs at them. The BBQ plate was changed every 15 minutes or so which was quite impressive as it was done in a smooth un-awkward way. There is a wide selection of meat and seafood as well as sushi and a dessert bay. The décor is modern and sparkling clean! I met the owner and he too was very welcoming and kind. I attended only last Thursday and I am returning tomorrow night with more friends. Love the place !
To be honest guys, the owner has to seriously know how to solve their exhaustion problem. It feels like you're the one being grilled in there! Hot and smokey. I have to admit Se Jong has the best Bbq buffet in town with only $30ish but trust me you wouldn't want to go there with your good clothes.
Not the best, but it's up there nevertheless. Loved how it was a buffet and we could eat however much we'd like as opposed to some where you order a big dish.

Hidden Gem. Se Jong BBQ is the best Korean suburban bbq restaurant I have eaten at in a very long time! It is spacious, clean, great selection of food and has a warm family vibe about it. The service is always consistent, and the meat quality is delicious. If you are craving Korean BBQ and don't feel like worrying about parking in the city, Se Jong BBQ is the place to go to!! Make sure you remember to make a booking, as this place gets packed pretty quickly, and when you eat there, you will know exactly why.

Great selection of quality meat, seafood, vegetables and desserts. You can find the Korean sweet rice drinks provided as well. Grill plates are changed very regularly. Staff are very nice.
We've finally tried the much talked about & popular Korean BBQ Se Jeong in Campsie.
It's located in the quiet street with ample street parking.
We paid $45 per adult.. kids over 12 are considered adults, so eat up kids.
This restaurant is a paradise for meat lovers with a 2 hours limit.
It's self service, offering a variety of meats and seafood. They have some hot food like fried chicken & soup, sushi and other Korean dishes as well, which is a great accompliment to the BBQ.
The service is top notch with grilling plates being changed regularly and dirty plates cleared straight away.
We're very impressed with the food selection and service and will be back soon with a big appetite.

Decent selection of marinated meats, seafood and sides. The original Korean fried chicken was good and so was the sweet and spicy fried chicken. The mayo prawns had great texture and tasted great. Sushi and japchae was actually decent. The dessert selection wasn’t the best (self serve icecream, some sort of chocolate cake, orange and watermelon). There was also soup and salads. Service was really good and wait staff were quite attentive. Don’t go expecting the highest grade wagyu and a smorgasbord of seafood. For $45 you get what you pay for.
Great Korean BBQ restaurant in the backstreets of Campsie. Ample street parking. Lots of marinated beef (including wagyu), pork, lamb, chicken and seafood. A couple of varieties of fried chicken. Some sushi and traditional Korean dishes like potato noodles. Kimchee was garlicky and spicy. Also had a small salad bar and dessert bar. Good service. They changed the grill plates quite regularly. Will definitely return soon!
This is one of my family's favourite Korean BBQ places. We've been coming to this place regularly for the last 10 years. The food is great and has lots of variety. It is so popular and always packed. Unfortunately, due to COVID, they stopped lunch. Hopefully, they bring it back soon.

My friend googled this restaurant and was instantly attracted to it due to the pricing of $39.00 per person.
Only a 5-10 minutes walk from Campsie train station & it’s an easy walk (turn left when exiting the train station then turn left again, then turn right on the very first street (London Street) easy-peasy!! As soon as you arrive at that street you will smell the strong BBQ lingering in the air! And you will immediately drool 🤤😍

Simply feel out the paper form and select the meats you would like (you only can pick 4 raw type meat) at a time and unlimited of sides!
But 100 % worth the food. The quality of food were amazing, the meat were so tender, the seafood was so fresh and the kimchi was crispy and delicious!
Absolutely worth a visit, the amount of meat and side dishes we ate was well more then $39.00 per person.
The dessert was only vanilla Ice cream, not so creamy but more on the icy side but still yummy.
They also offered split billing which was awesome! We paid approx $42-43 each, include a bottle of peach soju we shared!
We also had friendly service!! I would highly recommend this place!! But make sure you have a big appetite because I guarantee you will blow up like a ball, and you will roll yourself home 😂
The service was like a warm home kinda vibe with great care to our needs, the food was scrumptious and delicious. Not bad on the bank and worth the experience for your first K-BBQ, Highly recommend for an night out or a get together with family and friends
