located at central, it's time for thai is a good place to grab a bite, especially for students. Overall decent taste and good portions, however recently they have increased their prices (not unreasonable price yet). Their pad see ew is quite sweet for those who like it like that, and my partner and i often order crispy chicken or fried rice, both of which are good.
Very nice and fresh Thai Beef Salad. Spicy. Lovely spring rolls also. Good service. Water on the table. The restaurant is halal and alcohol not allowed.
Had a great Valentine's Day date with my boyfriend here. Nice cosy little place with nice atmosphere, and we both really enjoyed our meals. He had the egg noodles with duck, and I had the Japanese fried chicken.
Will be back when I'm in the area again!
Outstanding Thai food close to central station. We went there for team lunch and each one of us returned happy. We mostly ordered Laksa and chilli fried rice.
If you are looking for a cheap and good Thai joint around the area this is the right place to be.
Have tried some of there food now and I will say there quality of food is good , the portions are more than sufficient, especially if u are travelling with your partner who is on a diet 😉 you may be able to get away with a less order.
I particularly enjoyed there crispy chicken with noodles and green curry with roti.
It’s a busy place but decent and sufficient seating, orders don’t take long to be served and respectful staff.
We came right before the dinner rush so it was very fine (no queue). We ordered the chicken (replaced noodle with rice) and tom kha. It's a big portion even for two of us. Tom Kha is a sour soup with light of coconut milk. It went well with rice and chicken. The chicken was so good. The spice was through all over the meat (not only on the flour). The service itself was very quick and effective
Impression: the kind of place single middle aged men go to to eat dinner alone because you get good food for a decent price without all the other bells and whistles and etc.
Food: 4/5 Mains ordered were a duck noodle soup and Panang beef curry w roti. Both were super yum! Meats were cooked well and sensibly portioned. Roti was super crispy and soft (⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️) Ordered calamari rings for starters were over priced, average tasting.
Service: 3/5 went on a Monday night , reasonably busy considering. Nothing particularly special but was fast and efficient. The counter girl was a bit stand offish when I asked for a receipt and I got semi triggered when she tried to give me the docket they wrote the table order on
Other: 3/5 not the prettiest restaurant but seemingly clean. Standard decor.
This is good restaurant for quick, filling and delicious food. My personal go-to dish is the steamed egg noodles with crispy chicken (seriously their crispy chicken is really good). If you don't feel like fried chicken then the bbq chicken is also really good. The curry dishes are also really nice which you can choose to have accompanied with either rice or roti (I prefer the roti which is very light and fluffy). For dessert, the fried icecream is best shared as batter on the outside is a bit on the oily side. I did really enjoy the kaya crepe though which came with a scoop of vanilla icecream.
Not the fanciest place to dine at but in my opinion this is one of the best place to go to with some of your friends if you feel like trying some good food. For anyone coming here for the first time and is starving, I would always recommend trying their Cripsy chicken with rice. I am totally in love with their crispy and suculent chicken. It is even better when it is dipped in the sweet chili cause then is served with it.
Other than just sticking with plain rice, there are other options to choose from to be served with your chicken. Like in the picture below, I ordered it with egg noodle which I also highly recommend trying.
I love this place so much where I can find various Thai foods to be enjoyed. The waiting time is quite long but you can order appetizers first before you get your main meals.
Other good point for me is the facility in this restaurant. Anyone who look for a place to pray in the city, this restaurant provide a prayer room , prayer clothes plus sarung as well as toilet for doing wudu/the wash. However, I think it is better to bring our own fresh and clean prayer clothes.
I always love to eat at this place where the service is good and the food is yummy. There are so many various kinds of delicious food you can enjoy, from something with rich gravy to something which is really light and fresh.
Fast service, good hospitality and the dry egg noodle with barbeque beef or chicken is the killer, it's very delicious yet generous portion. One of the best halal certified restaurant in my opinion, located on the CBD, not far from central station Sydney.
Not too far from paddy's market, this restaurant is easy to find!
They serves halal food with delicious taste. The price is affordable, i bought fried chicken with japanese curry and beef bbq with egg noodles for $22. But the portion is quiet small compared to normal Australian portion
Very good thai place for a very good price
Best dishes are plenty including tom yum noodle (amazing soup base), pad kee mao and curry chicken with roti
The salad is also good as well as the fish. Definately a must have when eating with groups
Definately recommend
'Ndha' Dinda Bestari
+4.5
It's located near central station (south gate), ultimo and chinatown. Really strategic location, and also it's HALAL..
It's not that expensive for a very big portion.
Well, thai food would never bring you down 😂😋❤️
Thai's food are not something i would get super into but this restaurant have some really tasty dish that everyone should experience once in our life. The drinks are also great, recommened to try the Thai red tea, it's really really yummy.
it has a great price with good portions! i love their sweet sour sauce and their crispy chicken! would definitely come back again! 8/10 recommended!
Me wiz my friends choose this restaurant for dinner last week and we ordered bbq chicken stir fried noodles, fried prawns, fish cake etc...the dishes are all in supersize and the price is really affordable.nice place for weekday lunch.
A work colleague recently introduce me to this place. Food was great and the protions were pretty huge. Tried the lunch special, deep fried chicken with the hainanese style chicken rice, which was tasty. Obviously not close to the stuff I tried in singapore, but was not too bad.
On a second occasion tried the bbq chicken with noodles. The chicken was great but the noodles were ok and a lot.
A good place for a large and cheap work lunch.
Fast service and delicious food. I would highly recommend the Panang Curry with steamed rice. Value for money. Good place to come for a lunch date. 😊
Great food and great prices!. This is a really nice Thai place we just found the other day.
Love the Crispy Chicken pieces!
The Kaya and roti is a must have for dessert!
The prices are very good too.
Just go and enjoy!
Not a place you’d go for service but they do have really decent dishes for under $15. For me, who lives for spicy and sour dishes, this is the restaurant. If you’re more into sweet chili, perhaps there are other Thai restaurants for you. Being a student of UNSW, I am happy to call this place my Thai home for when I have those Tom Yum cravings...
Bargain Thai!. This little thai restaurant located in the heart of haymarket offers brilliant thai cuisine at a bargain. The quality of the food and the service is wonderful and the place itself is not too noisy, nor too quite.
It’s a really nice place for delicious Halal food.
Variety - really good selection of items on the menu
Taste - everything was very flavourful
Service- really nice
Value for money - everything is affordable
Price per person - $20-30
Will I go back? - yes definitely
We ordered the fried chicken with rice. It was tooo good. We always get extra chicken on the side.
We also tried the chicken noodle soup with wontons. It was nice too but not as flavourful as the fried chicken with rice
Highly recommend this place
I only visit this place for their crispy chicken and having it in the restaurant. Occasionally i would have an entree too. The chicke is a standard battered chicken, but just cooked perfectly every time. Crispy on the outside and soft in the inside. Nothing special, but just great chicken.
Went to this place 3 times in a span of 8 days! Everything on the menu are just so goodddd 🤤🤤 They accidentally left out my fried chicken when I ordered takeaway but when I went back, they gave me my chicken and a free Thai milk tea (which btw taste amazing 😍). Mind you I went back to retrieve my chicken around the same time they were closing (9.30) and they still gave me a friendly welcome. Friendly waiters and Muslim friendly (they have a praying room upstairs) . REALLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!!
The price is reasonable 🤩 and the portion is big 😋. The service is fast too
A halal certified Thai restaurant..lot of options. It was damn busy downstairs. But they have a large open space on the first floor. They were not offering those places for us all the time we we're waiting there. We waited for 30 minutes. The. found plenty tables empty on the first floor.
Food wise it's good quality, but service can be better.hence 4 star
Love the food so much. So tasty, very rich flavours, and never spicy at all. Additional spices and chilli always on the table for u to add if u want it chilli 🌶 hot 🔥
Celebrated my birthdays there for a few years now, and I'm always going to do it there, with my cosplay family.
Sooooo highly recommended 🌹
I mostly order for take away and find that's so good.
Like the braised beef & BBQ Chicken that's melted inside my mouth 👌🏻
Noodle & Wonton also nice 😙
But gravy is too much for me - taste strong spice.
It was a nice quiet space very close to train and light rail, good food, fast service, good enough to try again!
The Dry fried duck was good as well as the soft shell crab salad!
So cosy and warm welcoming atmosphere
Just push the door run away from rain and cold ..honestly feels like home ❤️
